507  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't understand____Mining ~20 hours .17 bitcoin? on: October 05, 2012, 11:59:39 PM
Well the point of my post has been addressed at this point, I ended up talking to Shadow383 and am making more per day then I was at bitclockers even.

The main issue was the *huge* drop in payouts between pools, it looks like my computers are taking sometimes many hours to solve a share at slush's pool which as I understand is not good for profits...
508  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Rig on: October 05, 2012, 05:34:22 PM
Yeah I know!  I just checked some of that posters comments, its alright, I think some useful things were said for me!
509  Other / Meta / Re: Asshole tag on: October 04, 2012, 11:59:37 PM
To quote tbcoin: "hahaha the proposal acceptance has exceeded my expectatives"

Two People besides you exceeded your expectations?

Way to set that bar low right out of the gate lol.
510  Economy / Computer hardware / (SOLD) WTS: Gigabit Switches and Gigabit PCI card on: October 04, 2012, 09:49:40 PM
A while back I was thinking I would convert some oldish towers into some "high speed" servers on my home network but I never did do it and have since sold those machines.  I still have:

Trendnet TEG-S80g        8 port gigabit switch   BNIB
Trendnet TEG-PCITXR     1 port pci gigabit adapter card also brand new in box
D Link DGS-1005G           5 Port gigabit switch opened but not used for too long, still with its box

Make a bitcoin offer than includes shipping to USA, I am in washington so if outside of USA check customs cost etc to where you are before offering me anything please, I know sometimes it can be unrealistically expensive.  Feel free to post in this or pm, don't care, don't think I'll use these.

**edit**  WA, local sale a possibility too or even a trade for other pc parts.
511  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What would you do with a million dollars worth of customer data? on: October 04, 2012, 01:56:51 PM
Looks like the poster didn't like the attention after all, no more posts...
512  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Rig on: October 04, 2012, 05:37:20 AM

513  Economy / Service Discussion / Coinlab? I don't support joining groups I know nothing about beforehand. on: October 04, 2012, 04:37:36 AM
Coinlab?

Can I get some member thoughts on why it would be beneficial to join?  I am new to bitcoin, a small-time gpu miner just trying to get while the gettin's good.
514  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Rig on: October 04, 2012, 03:02:32 AM
What mining rig?  You mean prefabbed?  I gpu mine, for now, I would say I am getting decent results from my 11th hour assemblies which are basically SLI and crossfire motherboards jammed with cheap cards like 5770 6770 and 5830.  It all depends on what you can get them for, I definitely don't think it's the time to buy new parts.  I'd say my favorite card is the 7970, with the 5830 and 5870 being close second and third favorites.   Just keep in mind these are vastly different cards which cost/produce very different things.  Google search bitcoin mhs radeon or sown thing similar to try to get charts of what each can do approx.

Love this idea!
516  Other / Meta / Re: Asshole tag on: October 04, 2012, 01:30:59 AM
Oh I know!  How about a "I don't troll people in the newbie section badge."  That would be cool.  Interesting to see you licking your wounds here.
517  Economy / Services / Re: Pay for your phone sex with bitcoin on: October 04, 2012, 12:59:09 AM

518  Economy / Services / Re: Pay for your phone sex with bitcoin on: October 04, 2012, 12:34:03 AM
That is a crime... While the above mentioned service is not, keep that in mind err'body.
519  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No sales day for bitcoin on: October 03, 2012, 10:12:44 PM
Oh I know!  Let's split some hairs instead of answering the question!  Sounds fun!

Truth be told I'm not sure why either, other than some vague idea that this would stabilize the economy, I don't think this sort of thing would do that however.
520  Economy / Services / Re: I am looking for some mill/lathe work done for btc. on: October 03, 2012, 08:47:37 PM
