when i start mining it was about 6-8K Bern per day now i have not more than 500 omg...

You have more. Check your wallet. Wink Of course artwork deserves a reward and I am always appreciative of a helpful community.

Nice, I like it! Not bad at all for just playing around while you chill. Hopefully in the very near future we can put signage like that to use with merchants and the forthcoming "berner marketplace".

Thanks for the initiative! Smiley

Please vote for BERN to be added to c-cex as more exchanges will help to stabilize the price and will be needed by payment gateways for BERN to be accepted.

Thank you in advance!

It seems CoinWallet.co is having some issues today. They have tweeted, "We are investigating a security incident. Please be patient while we assess the situation. All coins are safe!"

Also, I am just learning, they are planning to close May 1st, 2016. Which I find as terrible news.

Be advised, you should change passwords on any other crypto related websites where you use the same password and username as coinwallet.co. You can now login to coinwallet.co and withdraw coins. You will need to reset your password before you can login.

Any big news?  Huh

No, no new news that would affect miners directly.

Hello.

Anyone can help me with my miner?

Im on old 6600GT with CGwatcher and sgminer but can not get it working....

Config is simply just algo startum adress user and pass

It;s telling me that couldn't start API..

trying to install C++ and other stuff but idk why i can not start mining...

Hi DonMarco,

A 6600GT is an nvidia card. You will need to use ccminer to mine BERN, or any other, with that card. Sgminer is only for AMD/ATI cards.

I do not personally mine with nvidia cards but I have in the past. Switch over to ccminer. If you still have problems, post some details of the problem and I will gladly assist you.

EDIT: Here is a link: https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases

EDIT 2: I am not sure you can mine with a 6600GT. I think that card might be too old.

Hey.

Thanks for reply. I just come back from work and will try ccminer asap. i now it's old but normally if i good remember i was able to mine with this card like 2 years ago.

Oh, that is great you have hashed with it before! I briefly did a little research last night on the card and couldn't find it listed in any hash rate comparison charts or any recommended parameters. That is why I was uncertain if it could and suggested it may not be able to. Hopefully, I will stand corrected. Wink

I am, as I am always, in the IRC if you need help in real time.

Ok thanks for reply man:)

I will stay with windows as i don't have so much time to cooperate with linux:D
In 2 -3 days 4-6 miners should be ready atm mining with just 1MH's but growing Smiley

P.S going to read about this Panama cuz I'm out of info and everyone talking about this:D

Have a good day!

P.S

some question from newbie Cheesy

POW means Proof of Work which means that everyone get paid as much as he work ( % shares )
You only get a percentage of the block reward if you are in a pool and that pool finds a block while you are mining and have shares accepted during that block. Technically, based on the payment system (Pay Per Share, Pay Per Last N Shares, ect) you could get paid for blocks that you were not actually mining but that is rarer. With solo mining you have much more risk because you could mine all day or longer and not solve a block. Pool mining greatly lowers this risk of wasting energy because you are working collectively with other miners.
Quote from: continued
but If for example i look for block ( mining) 30min and didn't find any block ( mining solo in pool only my miner online) after let's say 30 blocks ( 1 min block time) i found a block i get paid just for this block which i found? or for all other past 30 block as well?
No, you would only get paid for the block you solve and only the block reward (presently 250 BERN) for that block and transaction fees within that block. The network adjust mining difficulty so that someone finds a block about every 60 seconds. Someone would have got paid for those past 30 blocks.
Quote from: continued
If there is 100MH's Net hashrate and i come out with 100 more I will decentralize network or it is ok?
I wil have like 50/50 chance to find block ? my shares will be ~same like from 1 pool?
You effectively would be decentralizing the network and you would have a 50% chance of solving, that is correct. This is why we seek a high net hash to prevent situations like this that a malicious miner could wreak havoc on the network. (51% attack, double spend)
Quote from: continued
Sry for newbie questions but would like to understand what I'm doing:D

No need to apologize friend. I am glad to help and they say, teaching is to learn twice over. Wink

Have a good day also!

Hello Smiley

I'm starting to build small miners for BernCash, have a lot of pieces from old computers and free electricity than why not to support good coin? Cheesy

but here i have some questions as well.

Since my GPU's are something like ATI HD 2900 256MB 128Bit etc and my CPU's are something about Intel Pentium Dual 3GHz what is better?

To mine with CPU ( i got about 55-100 Kh's )
Or try with cgminer on GPU? ( getting some errors but still not fully instaled windows + drivers )
Stay on windows or switch to ubuntu?
Do I need more than 512-1GB ram?

Hi DonMarco. That is great you are catching the mining bug! Wink

GPU mining is far more efficient in regards to energy consumption and will yield a much greater hash rate than CPU mining. You will want to mine with your GPU's.

You will see very little difference in hash rate between Windows and Linux. Any difference you would see would most likely come from the variation of drivers and / or mining software, not the OS specifically and would be minor. I would suggest use what you are more comfortable with.

You do not need a lot of RAM in the systems if that is all they will be doing is mining. So long as you have enough RAM to meet the minimum requirement for the OS, you will be fine. Unless you have old copies of Windows (XP and earlier - vista perhaps) you will be able to meet minimum requirements easier with Linux. Newer versions of Windows simply will refuse to install on systems with as little RAM as 512 MB.

Good luck with your rigs! Let me know if I can be of any assistance. Glad to help!

Was just watching a couple Bernie speeches when the thought came to mine.. "Have anyone made an altcoin about Bernie?".
Went right to Bitcointalk to search and oh yes, of course someone had made one. Awesome! Cheesy

Is there any possible way to invest in this yet? Or are there not any exchanges supported yet?

BERN is listed on YoBit. https://yobit.net/en/trade/BERN/BTC

We are trying to get on c-cex presently. A vote would be greatly appreciated! https://c-cex.com/?id=vote&coin=bern

Thanks for the interest and welcome to BERN!!!

#BernieOrBust

I want to vote for free but i can not find how to vote. and i will donate some coins to your faucet if You need

You need an account to vote on c-cex. After you create an account, you will be able to vote once for free. There is no need for a donation to the faucet, BERN has an instamine to pull coins from to supply the faucet. But thank you kindly for the offer!

Okey. Thank You as well for response. If You need any kind of help I'm here:

small knowledge about html css etc
Marketing ( i was marketer for other coin which found 2 merchants and make a lot of effort in public relations with social media.
GFX - Sony Vegas Gimp PhotoShop 7/10
Polish English French Spanish

My ideas:
Put faucet list in faucet rotators like faucetbox etc
small advertisement in btclcick should help as well
Video explaining a little bit BERN + Mining tutorial ( I've started to create mining tutorial for Windows PC)
Use BERN :
- I'm in steam community ( CS:GO ) and would like to make a market for CS:GO skins which You can buy for Bern but this is a little bit to much for 1 person.

Ok, thanks for the info and I am sure we can utilize your skills. Another community member did make a video introduction of BERN. It can be found here. But if you have something you can contribute, especially a mining tutorial, that would be an amazing help and greatly appreciated!

I had the OP translated to Spanish as there are many Spanish-only speaking people here in the states. If you wanted to translate the OP into Polish and French that would be great and the instamine can pay you a BERN bounty for each. BERN is not intended to be only for people in the states but, the states are the epicenter for the BERN political revolution.

Looking forward to your future involvement, thanks!

I've made a translation but I think my account is to young and there is no images...
