501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find new meme coins early? on: December 29, 2023, 02:45:38 PM
maybe apart from Twitter, you should look directly at Pancake Swap, there are lots of new and updated memecoins every day, which is very suitable for true memecoin seekers.
Any meme coi we are holding, our goal should be to take profits and shift to other meme coins. Because of the way the market is going and many meme projects falling prey to the market bears, we need to make sure that we invest for long on project that has strong community and would stay in the market for a very long time. There is money in the crypto market and the only way we can take our own money is to invest in small market cap projects to that we can utilize the opportunity to get more profits.

But there's nothing long term on meme scam coins that's the reason we should do a invest and take profit scheme for them so we would not left behind when these scam devs decide to pull out their team then create a new project that they can take new money from people trying to find good opportunity from their created tokens. We need to know that scamming is happening there that's why we should never let our selves to get fooled by those people telling to hodl since its proven for so many times that they will just run a rug pull scheme and create.

So we should stop being fanatic of certain project then think more smarter than any other else there so that we can take our profit and will not became a victim of those people who want to take advantage on certain good condition happen to crypto market.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun, is it a lie that we tell ourselves? on: December 29, 2023, 12:57:03 PM
You will also lose money when you want to pursue pleasure through other means, those who think traveling is to get pleasure will spend money to get that sensation and other means, so it is quite natural that there are gamblers who think that they are playing just to get pleasure even though you have lost a lot.
And even though it is to get pleasure, of course he will still hope to win, the only thing that differentiates people who gamble for pleasure from others is that whatever the result will not affect his attitude or thoughts, and can always accept it as a natural thing, and can stop at any time when already get the pleasure.
So when we play because we want to have fun but also hope to win, it is not a lie but a reality that cannot be ignored.

Well losing really depends on personal preferences. Some enjoy the excitement of uncertainty, while others might prefer activities with more predictable outcomes. Just be sure to keep it within your budget.

Youre right that whether it's traveling or gambling, spending money for pleasure is common. Some people gamble for the thrill and fun, even if they don't always win. The trick is being cool with whatever happens and knowing when to call it quits after enjoying the ride.
Everyone doesn't one to lose but we have different level of tolerance on how much the amount we can lose or how far we can go since if we exceed to our limits then it will be no fun anymore since we are totally in destructive behavior for having that occurrence.

But if we are still fine then still inside of intended budget I guess having fun is not actually a lie since there are people can able to handle that thing and they are there just to get something what can entertain since they had nothing to do for some time. Some people prefer to have thrill and that people enjoys a lot while gambling. But those other people expect about a lot of profit to be taken but turn out they lose all the money they have are the one who will not enjoy about things they have done.
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling. on: December 29, 2023, 09:21:08 AM
I guess not always similar since the feeling I get will always depends on the gambling result. If I win usually I'm happy and satisfied that's why I feel like to comeback playing tomorrow since I want to feel if the luck still ongoing then try to get another win.

But also sometimes not feel satisfied since I also got frustrated with the result shown especially If I commit some mistakes upon placing my bets on some scenario which I think can give me better chance to win but result comes out which is not favor at my end.

That's why on this question for sure many people have the same thoughts since not every time result will be the same and we can say that we always got satisfied every gambling season time we have done.
504  Other / Off-topic / Re: Simple advice, don't get carried away by people success stories. on: December 29, 2023, 08:12:50 AM
Some people make an imagined story just to attract investors and fool them. It is a way of business doing now and we only just find out that was fake after falling into their hands. At this time, we should take extra caution and know whom to trust because it is hard to determine who is/are telling the truth while the majority of these social media influencers are telling lies. In the next couple of years, scammers will multiply more and the only person we can trust is ourselves.

As OP stated was clear that we should be vigilant and not fall into such promising and attractive stories because successful people never show up in public but keep as anonymous as possible.

That's how they attract people since majority always want to hear success stories since they always dream to came into this situation that's why they follow those people what they think successful in their craft. But they forget to analyze if the story is true or even validate if the method discuss is really working for them since not everyone can share the same success even if they follow the foot tracks of those real successful people since they can't replicate the level of patience and long time efforts exerted since most of the time those copy cats always like to see a success for short period of time that's why most of those people fail.

That's why we should really vigilant on all stories or information we read online so that we can avoid any misleading thoughts and create some real stories base on our experience since from that we can learn then maybe this is how we became successful especially if there's consistency towards everything we do on our investments.
505  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: December 28, 2023, 03:08:42 PM
I haven't used this service before, because from what I know it's the first time I've seen this offer on a forum.

Does this mean that this is specifically for stake.com users? I very rarely play at the casino because it is often in other casinos, but if you in the future include many casinos like this then I'm sure this service will continue to be crowded with visitors even though you say only focus on stake.com.

Well if there is time to go back to playing at stake casino, then I will try this service.
For now, poorbot service seems to be only targeted at Stake users, possibly because Stake has one of the most active users possibly in their millions.

But then, just like you, I have also thought about this service extending to other online casinos as well, since we have alot of online casinos that don't bother implementing a swap or exchange service in their system aside from Bc.game which already have their own in-built swap service for their users.

So, I personally would also love to see this service extended to other casinos as well, but like we all know, the service is just starting here and with Stake, the kind of success they record or achieve while providing for Stake users might be the determinant to whether they will extent same service to other casinos in the near future.

It's undeniable that there's a lot of Stake users around the globe that's why they target them so that those people could think about that there is an exchanger exist that focusing to do business with them. For sure there's also gambler which usually play on other casino seeking some service like this and if they could just add the other popular casino or maybe make it as free to all exchanger then provably maybe they get a best result for that.

For now lets see how they can go well since if they can satisfy those people who want to test out their site then provably they can earn some good reputation from that. So they should focus to market well their site so a lot of people could able to notice the existence of this new exchanger.
506  Economy / Economics / Re: Sometimes tips the securities at the mall or local shops on: December 28, 2023, 01:34:53 PM
I don't actually like the idea of tipping since this could be the start of discrimination on some places since those workers looking after for tips might not give a proper service to those people who they think will not give them a tip. Then treat good those rich looking costumer since they think to get more better top from them.

That's why its better than nothing so that workers could treat anyone the same. I understand that they do a lot of efforts but its up to their management on how they threat their workers since if they give the right salary and benefits to them for sure they will not ask for more and create some pressure in their work place.

Also for OP we know how security guards work their assigned jobs so maybe they should forget about that so they will not get stressed and just do their job so that they can perform well to their job and their boss will be more happier to the performance they are showing.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Health Benefits of Gambling on: December 28, 2023, 08:49:51 AM
Gambling is not bad after all but addiction is, gambling has been receiving a lot of negative reactions and feedback but gambling also has a lot of health benefits associated with it but you can only get these benefits if you are a responsible gambler and you have total control of what you wage and limit your bankroll

Addiction takes away the enjoyment when it comes to gambling. Many people don't realize they're heading down this path and might end up addicted if they can't control themselves. Gambling was initially created for fun, and it does have some health benefits. Unfortunately, today, some gamblers use it as a way to make a daily income. When they lose, frustration sets in, leading to addiction. They keep playing, hoping for a win. Personally, gambling helps me unwind after a long day at work. It relieves stress, and playing some online games makes me happy, ensuring I end my day on a positive note.

Stress comes along with that condition since we could not enjoy gambling if we are in weird situation where we want to bet more. That's why I don't see any health benefits on gambling in long run since if we are in situation where we are addicted to much on gambling for sure this will never be fun for us since every action we do can cause huge problem to us especially when we are out of money for sure we would find ways to get something to spend. What more worse with that is other people do crime like stealing its because their urge to gamble comes first and they can't think more clearly about the consequences of the actions they have done. That's why we should not think to much about it and just simply gamble only when we don't have any thing to do. Lucky we have this community since it can make us realize that addiction is really worse and we can see how bad the experiences of other people so we will not follow them.
508  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: December 28, 2023, 07:25:15 AM
That's what I'm doing even if I'm married since I regret for not saving bitcoin before while the price is so cheap and don't want this to happen again. Bitcoin right now had so big potential that's why its really good for us to save some for future. Bitcoin future is so good since it already reach on mainstream so I expect that more adoption will happen on it and this halving event would bring a lot of exposure to bitcoin especially if a lot of people see some outstanding price growth of this coin.

But if they can't afford to buy some amount because they think investing or trading it is more convenient to them then I guess what's more ideal there is to separate some part of their profit intended for long term hodl so that they may have some amount to use in future especially if they aim a huge success in future.
Saving some Bitcoin for the long term can be a wise decision especially considering its increasing mainstream adoption and the potential impact of the halving event. Separating a portion of your profits for longterm hodling is a good strategy to ensure you have some funds available for future success.
For that I have some money and I have already invested in Bitcoin and now I am using DCA method and I have decided to hold Bitcoin for more than 5 years. And I am sure that After 5 years I will be in profit because I believe in Bitcoin and in myself too.

For doubting people about the future of bitcoin maybe its best for them to track back the history and those amazing pumps happen thru years of its existence. For sure they will find it amazing then would provably get convince to hold since bitcoin really put some amazing numbers each years pass so provably we can see more from it. We can consider the level of adoption also the awareness happening on it so there's really big chance that more to come especially for countries potentially to declare it as their legal tender.

That's why same with other slowly accumulating to save on future I also doing the same since I don't want those past to happen again where I or many people regret not to have bitcoin at that time since if they just hold it for sure they gain a lot of money from it if they convert on last ATH happen or even at the current price of bitcoin.

For now I'm saving for hodl but there's a chance that I will also do DCA since wanna experiment for my self it can give me more better result.
509  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: December 27, 2023, 02:05:36 PM
When I was exploring the casino, I made sure to check out some key things. For me, the website needed to be easy to use, and I paid close attention to the variety of games and those tempting bonuses. I personally looked into the payment methods, reached out to customer support, and ensured that security measures were solid. Mobile compatibility was a big deal for me, and I considered the casino's overall reputation based on my own experience. I also want to highlight the responsible gaming features because, for me, that's crucial. Lastly, I delve into the withdrawal process, making sure it aligns with what I'd expect. This review is all about sharing my personal take, to provide authentic insights into my casino experience.
The first thing I look for in a casino site is how active their live support is and how quickly they can resolve issues.  And how easy is the kyc issue there and without kyc initially can gambling be done there and small amount of funds can be withdrawn from there without kyc or not. so I would like to look at these points first for a casino review and I think these points are very important. Another important thing is whether the site is vpn friendly or not.  Because many times some sites are restricted for different countries so it is necessary to use vpn at that time
I agree with you that the points you mentioned are certainly very important.  Because when we face any technical problem in casino site we need team support fast so if their live support is very active then using that site feel comfortable.  And upfront kyc on a site is very annoying so we are more interested in using a site that can gamble without kyc at least for a certain amount so a site review should include these things.

Points given by @LucySea is really important to consider since this is what actually we want to see from those casino. Also its important to know how active their support since its really frustrating to encounter an issue while the support is not attentive to the issue reported to them. Casino need to invest on people working on support area if they want to became a trusted casino since actually this is one important thing look at by gamblers especially those people usually stays in this forum. Also I don't mind upfront KYC since I normalized to have this requirements on KYC. If doubting on their reputation then maybe not to play there or register some account and just see the casino first on how they perform also how they get good feedbacks coming from people who risk to try their platform.
510  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are some altcoins with low transaction fees that I can use to buy stuff? on: December 27, 2023, 12:58:07 PM
You can use altcoins like Litecoin, Dogecoin. They are Proof of Work altcoins with cheap transaction fee.
https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/transactionfees-btc-doge-ltc.html#6m

They are two best Proof of Work alternative coins for you when you can not afford to pay transaction fee with Bitcoin. They both need about 19 hours to 20 hours to give you similar security like 6 confirmations from Bitcoin blockchain, about 1 hour.
https://howmanyconfs.com/

Thanks for the reply. I checked out that graph. Clearly litecoin and dogecoin have much lower fees currently. It will probably be worth exchanging my bitcoins for one of those just to save on fees for a few purchases I plan on making. I don't mind waiting a bit longer for confirmations, not in a big hurry.

Aside from those coins you could also check this article https://coinwire.com/cheapest-crypto-to-transfer/ since you will find another option to choose which is best to transact or exchange depends on your needs.

Bitcoin fee is so high so its really better to know which alternative is better and I think those site accept crypto as mean of their payment accepts that top 8 coin since they are quiet popular and listed on top exchange. Also just deal with it on top exchangers and avoid doing p2p to any random person to avoid scams.
511  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: December 27, 2023, 09:58:30 AM
10 hours left till Lucky draw Cheesy Prepare your tickets or grab new as you still have time for that. I would say that Duelbits, no matter how popular it is, what place among top casinos it takes, is very generous, as they giveaway a million this Christmas. Just think about this number. The main prize of 250k is a life changer for many. And this is the amount other casinos spend on Christmas giveaway/promotion on general.
That's why I said that this place is growing insanely higher. I do not know if they found like some new investor or something, but they are growing super fast. I think it all started with that Dillon Danis thing, that was the first time they got to like millions of people via marketing, and ever since that they have been growing like crazy, should be something quite important.

I believe that we need to end up with much more later on, it is not going to be easy, and it will take time, but duelbits may end up taking the number one spot eventually. It is of course something that is hard, and it is not a clear objective thing to say unless all casinos have their wagering numbers out in public, but it is getting there, as long as they keep this up.

There is a lot of competition for crypto gambling sites but they have grown a lot these last couple of years. I am pretty disappointed with the Christmas promotions we have had this year in general, but at least Duelbits offered something nice (with the big raffle and the challenges). Their new partnership with Luis Suarez should also drive a new audience to the site.

I'm fine with the promotion I've seen offered by various casino since its better than nothing.

But same as you I'm impressed by recent action they made since this could widen up the audiences that can possibly try their casino. Looking forward for more partnership to be announce since this will be huge for duelbits if they can partner with more famous personalities.

Also for sure we can see more attracting promotion since they always trying to impress people by some offers they give so that they can entertain people to stay or even catch new people attention by trying what more they can offer to them.
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reports emerge suggesting Mt. Gox creditors are receiving repayments on: December 27, 2023, 08:50:10 AM
Creditors of the long-defunct Bitcoin exchange Mt. Gox have reportedly started to receive fiat repayments for their Bitcoin, which had been trapped on the exchange since February 2014, according to numerous reports across social media.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/mt-gox-creditors-repayments-received-social-media-reports

What was bitcoin price in 2014? $500? Now it's $40,000?

Seems like these people got a great deal which involved a bit of forced HODLing.  Shocked Assuming they all get paid back in full. Even if not, they probably come out with a reasonable rate of return.

I guess for what pressure they get from that incident happen frim Mt.Gox issue I guess the current thing they get is a price for the effort they exert just to get earned back their money. And good thing to see that if repayment will be done to all Mt.gox affected user all of them are happy because they earn a lot of interest from their bitcoin force to hodl just because of that incident. Its like blessing in disguise for them so lets get updated with this news since somehow their refunds might create a fud and can possibly move the market.

Imagine how big needed to pay by Mt.gox to settle this issue and maybe this actions they made can cause a dump to the market especially if all those people receive a refund will sell all their coins and then there are institutions will ride it and use to create big fuds to manipulate the market.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lack of proper knowledge on casino games increases chance of loss and reduce fun on: December 26, 2023, 11:46:33 PM
before playing, it is a good idea for a gambler to know how the game they are playing works. there are many platforms they can use such as youtube, google, etc, to find out tips and tricks for playing the game. as gamblers become more knowledgeable about the games they play, their potential for losing will be slightly reduced, especially in table and card games, which require skill, knowing the flow of the game and the necessary tricks is very important so that players can win.

How on earth will someone get involved in something you know nothing about. Gamblers are on a very high risk when they bet on game without any knowledge of the game.

Some people get involve on things they don't know especially on gambling since they are been hype by videos they see that there are numbers of people winning a lot of money on the casino they are playing on that's why they choose to gamble there without having enough knowledge on what they are doing since they think they could earn the same.

But later on realization will come and they would think about learning first about what they do since they receive some painful lose. That's why its really better for a person if they want to gamble is to familiarized first on what are those games they are interested on since they could have fun there playing once they learn a lot especially on their experiences on certain casino.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: December 25, 2023, 01:32:37 PM
When I inquired from the attendant, she said he was a regular customer and that he usually raised money for gambling through the manual jobs he does around the area. She also told me that he has never misbehaved and acted violently in the gambling house so she was comfortable with him.

My question now is are there any moral, ethical or legal obligation to bar a person from gambling after physically observing that he is mentally unstable?
Perhaps his condition would have worsened if he had been prevented from practicing his hobby of gambling. The shop owner told you that he did not do anything wrong in the shop and that he does manual labor to earn money, which he uses to play games. I do not see anything wrong with this, nor any reason to pass a law that prevents him and others like him from gambling, especially since they do not harm anyone, not even themselves.
Quite the opposite, there are people of sound mind who commit atrocities because of their love of gambling and their addiction to it.

It maybe can cause a discrimination for a person just want to gamble and if the person pointed out to be unstable didn't bother anyone then everything is fine there.

I guess the owner will not disallow them to gamble since they know everything is fine with the person and it can generate them some profit if that person would lose his money if he decide to gamble on his casino. People need to focus on theirselves and they should not judge the person base on his look if this is the problem with those people.

And they should let the man enjoy since who knows that gambling is just his escape route from his stress and they can feel fine every time these people gamble.
515  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk vs. YouTube from an educational viewpoint on: December 25, 2023, 10:32:03 AM
I guess I will be more into forum rather than seeking information on youtube since not everything on facebook is true since there's a lot of fake like scams and click baits posted for views or to scam people. That's why its important to have critical thinking regarding on what we see so that we will not get carried away by misinformation.

So I usually prefer this forum since the information we read is base on opinion of people which do a lot of research that's why they go on that conclusions. Although not all here is true but at least we can see real people dealing with some interesting information compare on believing on single opinion coming from a influencer which we don't know if he really have deep knowledge about his content.
516  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: December 25, 2023, 08:48:21 AM
I understand that duelbits may not be the richest casino in the world, but the way they are using their money is amazing and they know what they are doing, it should not be any surprise to anyone that they know where to invest their money into.
You don't have to be a richest company to run a good business. Duelbits is not a biggest casino and honestly I don't know what is a biggest and richest casino, but they are doing a great job to operate their business.

They launch a business, operate it smoothly and gain massive trust from their user communities and get many loyal players. It is enough to say Duelbits is a successful business and one of most successful ones in gambling industry.

That's how to make your business more appealing to the public eye since showing to people that you can spend a lot of money for marketing and contest can make people have confidence to play on their casino. Duelbits maybe not the biggest casino since these category is wide but in crypto gambling scene they are well known reputable casino that's the reason why to many people have huge confident to play in this casino compare to their competitors.

They just show how good they are dealing with some events happening that's why they survive in a tough competition in this forum and remain the best casino the same as before. For sure more to come with Duelbits since they are still doing good in marketing also people are still satisfied by playing on their casino.
517  Economy / Economics / Re: Used cars and real estate market very volatile and a lot people will fomo in on: December 24, 2023, 10:50:02 PM
Meh, I'm skeptical of technical analysis of any sort (actually, I'm a non-believer) but it doesn't take all of that TA mumbo-jumbo to realize when people are starting to jump into any market--the only thing you need to see in a chart is an upward trend.

Used cars have been going up in price for quite some time if I'm not mistaken, as has real estate.  And Christ, it's become so expensive to even rent an apartment I'm surprised the number of homeless people hasn't spiked hundreds of percentage points.  People who own real estate and rent it out must be making a killing.
To be fair, used cars (or real estate or any other asset) doesn't really "go up in price" but more like fiat is losing value due to inflation. Which means that a car that worths 10 thousand dollars, being worth 15 thousand dollars right now, doesn't mean that it went up in price, it just means it's the same price but what 10 thousand dollars could buy back then could be bought with 15 thousand dollars today. That's the thing, at the same time a box of eggs may have gone from 10 dollars to 15 dollars as well.

This is why investing has been easy in the last 4 years or so, because things are going up, it's the act of making more money than the fiat value loss that would be the most important thing and many miss that, and used cars won't make you that.

This is why we should never look buying cars as investment since we cannot get anything with it unless if we gonna use that car for transportation business since for that we can possibly get some nice income thru passenger will rent our car. But its for personal use or to show up your financial status well maybe we cannot get that since each year the value of car decrease so we can't get anything good with that on investment perspective.

But for Real estate I can say that we can get the value of our money here especially if we are in highly urbanized city since for sure that the value of our asset will rise over the time especially it located at prime location since we can really get the best of our money thru investment over the time since we can possibly earn a lot when we sell this asset.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BlockSafu - legit or scam? on: December 24, 2023, 03:21:02 PM
I have seen some bonus and offers for pre sales of a project named coinRexx and i did some research and couldn't find anything unique about this project but it was marketed as audited by BlockSafu which made me but suspicious as I haven't heard much about BlockSafu and then when I researched about BlockSafu I didn't get satisfactory outcome hence just wanted to check if you have any idea about BlockSafu because it looks like a shady auditing firm to me, I may be wrong hence checking with you all.

I also don't know about that coin but what we can consider to do is to leave that token alone since we are not so sure regarding on their reputation since no people can vouch yet if they tested out this platforms. If we are not totally aware about what they are doing then best is to seek  information that has been posted on internet for sure they can learn a lot from those guys.

Also if the concern by other people is true and they hide their identity to general public then you should start to get worried or have a doubt since this could give them a lot of money due if we are so lazy to check some important detail about them.

If we are really not familiar with BlockSafu then I guess they should settle up and find other things needed since investing scams is so totally since they coul lost a lot of money here.
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever heard about financing a gambler? on: December 24, 2023, 12:10:06 PM
It's vital to acknowledge the risks associated with gambling as a means of earning additional income. Relying on luck can be unpredictable, and it's wise to consider more stable sources of income like a regular job. Using one's capital is certainly a prudent approach to managing the potential risks involved. Exploring alternative avenues for additional income, such as investing or developing new skills, could also be worth considering.

And providing loan to a gambler who came to situation like this is so risky since they would not provably ask for loan if they are fine so for sure those lenders who put a trust with these guys will surely get disappointed with the result since that gambler might default on the loan he take especially if he lose to much and can't recover to situation he experience.

I guess exploring alternative  avenues for additional income will not be their solution since most of those guys especially those who experience addiction have more time to spend on gambling sites rather than seeking an opportunity since they might find it not entertaining and they are so much hooked with playing on the games they are more interested on.
520  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: December 24, 2023, 10:26:20 AM
I'm pretty sure I've made this point already in this thread, but if you're gambling, you're likely hoping that you hit some crazy winning streak or maybe a monster win on a slot machine to make yourself millions right?  Well, if that's your plan then you have to assume that no casino is going to let you withdraw millions of dollars without doing some sort of KYC.  So if you're gambling without KYC for whatever reason and you aren't going to be able to provide that for whatever reason, you are limiting yourself to only losing.  That isn't a winning strategy in my book.

That's why its crazy to assume that a casino will not implement a KYC especially if this scenario comes to a player since for sure they would provably ask that so they can verify something to the winners side.

Also players should not expect anything like there's a casino will do a NO KYC thing in there casino since for sure all those casino claim thay they would not ask anything like that will implement this. Also for sure that they might get an issue on some jurisdiction that's why if they want to became legal with those country for sure they comply and if they will not do it then maybe there's something shady will happen on them.
