501  Economy / Economics / Re: Is COVID-19 an excuse for governments & central banks to print money? on: November 06, 2020, 09:41:02 AM
The government is really sus.

I don't know what they are planning but there are some local governments that implemented ECQ during the height of the pandemic despite that there are small numbers of positives in that area. They lengthen that time so that we could get financial aid from the national government. I don't know how many did the same but it is obviously a way for them to get more money.
502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: American election is nothing to do with BTC on: November 06, 2020, 05:07:26 AM
For now it will not be affected.

I say for now because the next president might give a chance or an opportunity for the people to use bitcoin more. That it might influence the non-believers to actually use it although, I don't think they would put that on their campaigns, so I never seeing that as an priority for them hence it would not affect Bitcoins or anything in the market.
503  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading in the pandemic on: November 05, 2020, 02:07:30 AM
This pandemic proves how great Bitcoin is.

At the start of the pandemic, the price increased and we first met $10K this year. After that, the price went down not knowing what happened and what will happen, people kept on holding, and right now, we are at $13K. We don't know what the future holds, all we know is that Bitcoin is not directly affected by this pandemic and people should take advantage of it.
504  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading losses on: November 05, 2020, 01:21:24 AM
Losing is normal in this market.

Whenever know what will happen with the prices and the indicators that you might see in the price chart might lead you to wrong decisions. There are a lot of things that could lead to losses and one of them is being impatient that they immediately sell what they hold, another one is panic selling when the price went down unexpectedly.
505  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Ano ang IWE? on: November 04, 2020, 11:13:52 AM

Hindi ko din alam kung anung mangyayari if magkulang yun but all I know is that napakaraming taong gustong kumita at maginvest dito kaya maraming napagkukunan ng pera.
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 04, 2020, 09:18:42 AM
Any suggestion for poll of the thread?

Since I had read this question I had been thinking all night what could be the poll for the thread.  Cheesy
It starts with the season and teams are getting stronger. i.e. Miami, Nets, Nuggets, and Clippers might go back strong this year trying to correct what had gone wrong.
So the poll could start with which team will take the top rank for East and West.

East especially will be less predictable this year.

We are so lucky that OP is still active though I haven't seen him participating in the discussion a lot, AFAIR, he also make a poll in this thread before, maybe he is already planning to make one now but if you guys have some suggestion, better put it here as I'm read he can read it.

Maybe he's just reading some of them.

He's very active in Gambling Discussion and he's been posting on other threads too, I just saw his recent posts and you can say that he really is a fan of sports betting/gambling. Since there are still a lot of rumors about signings and trades, I guess we could just make a poll about another stacked team since duos are quite popular.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 04, 2020, 09:09:47 AM
That is a huge amount.

Never thought that people are actually betting on this. I don't know how big some people bet on some online casinos using their cryptocurrencies and the biggest I knew is someone betting number of arcanas in some Dota 2 betting site.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what bankroll management is in sports betting? on: November 04, 2020, 06:33:41 AM

I am fine with betting $1, to be honest, but the problem is that there are always those times that you can't stop yourself from betting higher. Even though you want to keep your bets lower, you just want to bet higher not just you can't control yourself but to try your luck and that usually derail us to minimal betting as it will lead to higher bets.

This is because you are expecting to be in the next roll you will be lucky to win it, this is only happens if the bettor have a lost strikes and want to get back all the lost in just one rolls by increasing the bet so you will win higher instead of having fixed bet.

This is far worse in dice, to be honest.

We are talking about sports betting so usually you could bet a small amount without a problem but there are those times that you could be overconfident and bet higher. In dice, I could say it is worse since you could easily see the result and that leads to betting higher and losing that money more quickly. If we will be talking about the auto bet, I don't think people would even enjoy that.
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we stop bitcoin scammers? on: November 04, 2020, 05:26:56 AM
I think we can't, there will always be scammers, scammers will disappear when this system no longer exists, we can only be careful when something goes wrong. I haven't experienced a scam incident, hopefully we all never have

I don't know about that.

Even before this system existed, scam is already a thing. So you can't say that the scammers will disappear when this system no longer exists, as long as there as people exists, scam will do too.
510  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Best Time to sell ? on: November 03, 2020, 10:26:38 AM
I think that depends on you.

We can say that it is now, you can say that is not. There are a lot of chances and possibilities that would happen so it is all on you whether you want to hold longer, sell now or buy later.
511  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [TIP] Onting tipid tips sa transactions sa Coins.PH on: November 03, 2020, 09:56:27 AM
This is nice.

512  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Ano ang IWE? on: November 03, 2020, 08:19:10 AM

Nung tinanong ko naman sya kung paano yun ginagawa ng mga nag umpisa nito, Hindi nya ako nasagot. Nakapag-pay out na sya ng dalawang beses. Isinali na din yata nya yung mga kapatid nya.

I still find it sketchy though. I'm still confused.

513  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breached $14k today on: November 03, 2020, 08:15:29 AM
The price itself proved it.

The price reached $14K and now it slipped back to $13.4K right now. That just means that we can't actually stay in there meaning we still can't take it. I don't know when will it happen again but I guess we will be sticking for some weeks to $13K before we can actually go higher than  $14K.
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we stop bitcoin scammers? on: November 03, 2020, 07:20:19 AM
We can't actually stop these people from scamming.

If you will ask me, we can't stop it but we can find a solution to keep ourselves from getting scammed and lessen the number of people being scammed because if we can do that, the number of scams will also reduce. One of the best ways to actually identify a scam is if it is too good to be true. You should also look at these projects and know more about them.
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what bankroll management is in sports betting? on: November 03, 2020, 04:08:58 AM
I agree with all of it but I think deciding units would vary from people to people.

For me, what you've said is amazing, it is new knowledge from me but what I wanted to say is that I think that $1 per bet would be small for some even with a $100 at hand. Especially if they lose, they would tend to double their bet with that small primary bet. That being said, people should really stay calm and don't even think of chasing before that losses.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: November 03, 2020, 02:00:05 AM
The only solution for that is to seek help from professionals, I am not a professional when it comes to mental health but if we really need to overcome that kind of addiction, we should really take an action that will save us from that kind of state. Our family and friends can also help us for sure especially for those afraid to visit psychologist or psychiatrist.

It is really difficult to seek help from professionals if they don't have the will to do that. We can't force him to go to the professionals without he agrees. We could only suggest to him and remind him that he has addicting to gambling, which he needs to solve. If he finally decides to go to the professionals and needs us to go with him, we can help him and help him solve it. Gambling addiction is really hard to solve, and we already see many cases of addicted gambling, which end by losing all of what he has.

That is so true.

Usually, as far as I know, these professionals explain that to make their patients better, these compulsive gamblers need to know that they must participate in this therapy not because they needed to but because they wanted to. This will be very hard without the will of that certain gambler as it might have no effect in the long run without their will.
517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If btc > $150k, will you still gamble it? on: November 03, 2020, 01:24:40 AM
It would really affect my betting if the price of the transaction increases along with the price of the bitcoin but I still would not stop myself from playing gambling and there's really a high chance that I would still continue playing gambling games.

Most of the posts I am seeing is talking about the fees that they will be paying.

But despite all of that, I think most of us would still gamble at the end of the day. I do have a small balance on a certain online casino and I am not sending that out because when I wanted to gamble, I use that so I don't actually have a problem with transaction fees even if the price went up or went down. Still, some would pay that fee since the value of Bitcoin also increased.
518  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: it seems to getting more difficult now to analyse cryptocurrency prices on: October 31, 2020, 10:03:02 AM
You could say that to 2020.

Pandemic, and other problems in between and now we have these storms closing to our country. What a year, anyway I think that could also be because of the things happening and people are quite attracted to Bitcoin, with a lot of people going in and going out I guess that makes Bitcoin more unpredictable, something we can get from this chart, I guess.
519  Economy / Economics / Re: Iran accepting cryptocurrencies to avoid US Dollar on: October 31, 2020, 09:11:52 AM
USA did what?!

Wow, USA is really bully nowadays just like the other one I know using an island that they didn't own. Still, that is harsh but great for the community as people have a choice to use cryptocurrencies now. I don't know if people are actually using Bitcoin there but that would create more users and maybe future holders of the said cryptocurrency.
520  Economy / Speculation / Re: how many Bitcoin do you need to live comfy in event of hyperinflation? on: October 31, 2020, 08:32:57 AM
I guess with a lot of Bitcoin you could survive.

Though I don't know how much you actually need, it could be more or enough. that ranges from 10 to 100 bitcoins. If that ever happens, I guess we could use bitcoin. Bitcoin might be unaffected by that and people might turn to decentralized cryptocurrencies since it is not that affected by these things like we had in this pandemic.
