Altcoins today are struggling , yes no doubt about that but if much attentions are giving to some altcoins with lots of potentials, i think it will make altcoins standout in the market. although some altcoins lacks vision and there are several coins i believe will defintely change the market positively.
Most of the top altcoins are believed they can change the world of cryptocurrency. And some of them did. As ETH, XRP, chage the way we lock at altcoins. And reconsider them again. But some like XVG, DGB change someone's life forever ^^ |

I have now some money but still earning to invest more in an IEO. I have heard celer IEO and investor get x6 of its investment. I was move away by this profit in an instant, i want also so i keep money, my question is after all good feedback of IEO, will IEO be like Ico which failed in the market or will IEO be last longer?
IEO is very hot at first. But as bittrex case, as you saw. Almost can't even get back the invested money. So Just look at ICO in the past, very likely IEO would end up with alot of scams Anyway, wish you lucky |

in 2017 I was very happy when I saw the price of Bitcoin increase in coinmarketcap because when the price of Bitcoin increases, then the price of Altcoin will immediately increase too, but for now when the price of Bitcoin increases and it does not affect for the prices of Altcoin (even still down), then when the price of Bitcoin goes down and at that time the price of Altcoin will go down too, so I do not understand the current state of the market and what is happening right now.
It's very normal thing, happen everytime bitcoin's pumped. Almost every single alt would go down when bitcoin up. That scenario happen too much when bitcoin went from 20k to 3k for 2 years, 2 long-year |

I'm continously watching eth market it's going down and down even if btc is some stable near 12k, is it probably due to high dominance of btc over market, touched ATH dominance almost 70%, means all buyers willing for btc not alts that's the reason of alts bleeding, I'm thinking to hold my eth for now because i hope it'll back again. Not sure about other alts.
I think buy more at lower price to DCA, you'll get more when price go up even not equal to the first time's price. DCA Is a very considerable option in this bloody market. I'm selling every thing to DCA> hope for a brighter future. |

if I think personally a safe way to invest in cryptocurrency is :
1. the project runs according to the roadmap and whitepaper that has been made;
2. cryptocurrency that we invest in already has a product;
3. the team always updates about the progress that is happening in the project that we invest;
4. invest in project that are in the top 1-500 in coinmarketpcap (have a high volume);
5. the project we want to invest has been running for a long time (if I personally never invested in a new project), because investing in new project has a greater risk than we invest in old project.
Talking is always easier than doing. I think More than half of my investments following your instruction are losing hard by now. And other half losing cause of I Can't keep calm when price changing fast. |

selling at a low price is the same as selling a loss, and that is not a good solution. if you are a market player, you will know how to survive or take advantage of the market in any condition.
Don't know how long does this part of being too hot in a veryshort time of cryptocurrency gonna last. But I think it's prety long after the pump in the end of 2017. Hope this would end soon so I can profit from trading. Holding some coins for too long now... |

Why do some projects require KYC for bounty? Is this a legal thing or is it a way to make sure they are not being scammed by bounty huntrs? Are there jurisdictions which would require bounty to have KYC? This is not a token sale after all.
It's good for both bounty hunters and bounty founders. Hunters are always want to do more than 1 account in a campaign, to make more and more token, much as possible if that's a good bounty. And founders want the opposite thing. So it's fare for both. Things get equal. And sometimes, they just want you information.  |

I've participated in so many bounty campaigns and invested on some tokens coming from ICO, but I notice that so many of these projects are not or stopped updating their Bitcointalk announcement thread but they are so active in their telegram channel.
Do you think this is good for a project in general, let's admit it, Bitcointalk topics always shows up in search engine like Google while on telegram you have to scroll a lot or wait for an answer and they are missing up some potential investors who first look on Bitcointalk for project that they want to invest in..
I don't think that project's worth to invest. Cause of admin would really care about bitcointalk topic, it's the main place to care about, other chanels, it's ok if they are not really active. I would never invest in any coin like that |

To me, BCH is one of the most bullshit coin of all time, even the name, but it is what it is, history must has it to evolve. It's a coin that born from bitcoin's upgrading process, so basicly it's old bitcoin but they don't want to delete it, just kept it and sell with another name to get whole lot more money.
XRP in other way, is a coin that rise like trip to the moon because of the hype. And that rise, of course, not stable
I don't know if the history repeat or not, but XRP to me is better choice if you don't want another coin

The way they usually work is they give you some string and you sign it to prove you own the address.
Could a malicious air drop make a transaction sending all your BTC to them, and then you sign it, and then they broadcast it to the network?
Or is signing a message different than signing a transaction?
I think airdrop is not a consideration my own, lots of airdrops just are fake, but they still did not take me too much time to do, and did not get much from me also, my information is not that important, maybe one day, they'll sent you an email that you sign in on an airdrop few months ago, to me, that's not a big problem. Still have a chance to get more, I'll take it |

Hi people, just wondering why Bittrex that is a very big exchange doesn't have its own coin like BNB or KCS.
Maybe there's a reason.
Bittrex is located in the US, and their laws didn't allow an exchange to have their own coin. Feels like money washer. And for more, bittrex is not that attractive to new investors. An exchange that Delisted lots of coins (In their hightime) is absolutely not a choice for me! |
