501  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLE] 32-slot Gold Kialara Raffle! on: November 12, 2016, 10:24:02 AM
Let's get this raffle going!   Smiley
Maybe i suggest a little adjustment in the ticket price will bring some extra players in  Wink

A close eye will be kept on the bitcoin price. If there are major changes, the price will be reconsidered. It will remain the same for now though Smiley
502  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] The Keyois Capsule, a New Type of Physical Bitcoin. A Crypto Piggybank. on: November 11, 2016, 06:52:32 PM
Alas not that, a few more guesses and I'll give another clue I suppose

Another guess from me:

A portmanteau of the words key (referring to bitcoin priv/pub keys) and octrois (http://www.wordfind.com/word/octrois/)

A hopeless guess really  Grin

Many here avoid escrow companies. I would suggest using escrow with Ognasty.
505  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Casascius nickel, CI super tenth, etc on: November 11, 2016, 04:52:59 PM
I've listed 2 new coins:

LTC association, coin #3, MS67, ANACS 4584551
Chickun, coin #12, MS69, ANACS 4584550

To my knowledge, the coins have not been funded. All coinographic coins should be declared as empty, even if there is still LTC on it.

Here is a pic:

I'm not looking to sell it fast, so I have listed it at a high price. If you want both, you can have it at 1.2BTC.

Note that the LA coin's holo is slightly damaged, but not fully void. It looks like there was a tear that happened during assembly.

Also note that the Cas. silver single is now in my possession, so the free shipping no longer applies.  Smiley

508  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLE] 32-slot Gold Kialara Raffle! on: November 09, 2016, 07:11:09 AM
Can I reserve 1-4 and 2-c? Will pay once it starts filling up if OK!

I will reserve them for you Hhampuz Smiley

In general, I have the right to not reserve a slot for anyone for no given reason.

This is going to be serious, will the price be adjusted if BTC rises/falls or will it be a constant 0.07BTC?

The BTC price will be monitored for a bit of time and a decision will be made thereafter.

Hi,

Do you have a pic of what this looks like without the sleeve?

it could be a diff one.

Also is this Loaded with 1 BTC?

thanks!

This is not loaded with 1BTC, as said earlier.

And thank you Vizique for posting a pic  Smiley
509  Economy / Collectibles / [RAFFLE] 32-slot Gold Kialara Raffle! on: November 08, 2016, 08:37:34 PM
I am writing up this raffle on behalf of canaryinthemine. Thread reference: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1667058.0

This is a raffle for a 1BTC gold Kialara, numbered #33!

Price per ticket: 0.07BTC

Pay to this address only: 17i1HjSRdQzLAafjMR1ThbSq5FJ2CswgVM

The payment address above belongs to canaryinthemine.

There are 32 slots in this raffle. You will need to pick a slot from either group 1 or group 2. If you pick a slot from group 1, it means the second last character of the winning block hash can be either 0,1,2,3,4,5,6, or 7. If you pick a slot from group 2, it means the second last character of the winning block hash can be either 8,9,a,b,c,d,e or f. Your slot in either group represents the last character of the winning block hash. If the last 2 characters of the hash match a character from your group and slot, you win!

A winning block will be picked once all slots are filled. Please post your tx (payments only to the above address!) and desired slot and I will update the OP.

-Disclaimer:

--I have the right to cancel the raffle at any time. If this happens, all slots will be refunded.
--I have the right to speed up the raffle.
--No refunds once a winner is selected.
--I have the right to not reserve a slot for anyone for no given reason.

Any further questions? Feel free to post here or PM.

An example of a win:

Say the winning hash is 000000000000000003b4ec8cddaa2d0601e10aca98dfa001d42afbc73e794a40

Then someone in group 1 will win, because the second last digit is 4 (and people in group 1 can have the second last digit be 0-7) and then the person in group 1 holding slot 0 will win.

Could smoothie not just pgp sign each certificate? Anyone that tries to fake one with different info will not be able to sign it with smoothie's key. Unless I misunderstood part of the question.

Such a shame. South Africa has potential to adopt a cryptocurrency, but this is not one of them. This is a blatant scam and I'm seeing so many people fall for it.

This is not the first scam to hit gullible South Africans, but it is one that will leave a bad taste in their mouth with regards to cryptocurrency.

why would you say that ??

if its a real cryptocurrency.

please can you explain why you think its a scam  ?

it was a scam before until we removed the scam and created a real currency for South African people
before we made it real people could not get there money, at-least now they are making money

Well for a start:

Quote
it was a scam before until we removed the scam

That's gotta be a joke right?

Next thing. You have 'testamonials' on pipchain.info. Testamonials for how much money they've made already or that they can make money if they invest. So the main thing this 'cryptocurrency' has to offer is a return. Smells like bs.

Next thing. Looking at the facebook page https://www.facebook.com/mypipcoinsouthafrica/?fref=ts ; The majority of posts seems to intend to trick people into believing that they will get a high % return if they invest into pipcoin. Gullible people don't seem to understand that you can't just get a high % return on their money out of nowhere. Obvious scam is obvious.

And this? http://imgur.com/a/lxWyp 10.5B market cap? LOL.

Ref Wayne and whoever else is involved is just stealing gullible people's money.

520  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Kialaras, Casascius, Coinographic, Titan Mint, Crypto Imperator! *UPDATED* on: October 30, 2016, 08:11:14 PM
I wonder how many of the gold titans there actually are.  I've only seen low serial numbers for sale and only a few at that.

I'd be interested in this too. The max cap is 1000 coins, but I haven't seen many for sale so it makes me think only a lot less are in circulation.
