As far as i know and what i experienced and observe i think the biggest bitcoin site that has been close and turned to scam is hashocean.Back by the time when hashocean is still alive most of bitcoins users invest their money in hashocean and when hashocean is ascam site and eventually close bitcoins price slightly drop and most bitcoins users stop after the closing of hashocean

It depends in the program your are investing in.If youre in trading well i would say that $25 is really good enough to start investment in trading because you can grow your money easily in trading.$25 is not that bad amount but it will still be profitable if being handle carefully |

Waiting for $100 price is quite imposible by this time,bitcoin will still continue to bloom and will not go back again at that very low price.Yes me too im expecting and hoping to buy bitcoins at very small amount but its just between $400-$500 mark which seemingly may happen anytime. |

All i can say is go on all on trading with your 200$,altcoins trading would be profitable just split your funds into different altcoins circulating in the market.There is no such trusted investment site,all are ponzi schemes safest is to do trading |

I would also recommend that you stay away from Paypal like all the other people on that website is saying. Paypal freezes your funds for 180 days for unknown reasons. You could always exchange your Paypal funds into Bitcoin funds in the Currency exchange board. So, if you don't want somebody disputing their payments to you, or getting your account frozen for 6 months, then go ahead and convert all your Paypal funds into Bitcoin.
i have experienced this thing too,my transaction of worth 500$ got freezed due to some reasons.I think it is some sort of system error and some problems about sending the money through a email.All transaction in paypal maybe disputed but there is a way to avoid it. |

I believe that Bitcoin and gold is best as store of value. They are incline to increase in price in the long run. So to defeat the depreciation of a currency, It is best to to buy Bitcoin or gold and hold it for a very long time. Just for example, a $1000 worth of Bitcoin today may probably $10,000 worth after 10 years.

Recently, a comprehensive cyrpto currency study was conducted by the university of cambridge.Although,it has revealed various aspects of bitcoin such as total number of wallets used,number of unique users of crypto currency wallets,but finally they have said that it is impossible to know precisely how many people use crypto currency.What do you think? Can we atleast get an approximate number of total Bitcoin users world wide?
It will be very hard to trace the actual number of bitcoin users, even there is a record history in the blockchain everyday with different wallet adrresess. And beside, perhaps it doesn't necessary if how many the actual total but most significant is the price value of bitcoin is continously in progress nowadays. Yup, its not speculated correct by anyone as now. If you try to calculate the number users its possible. Many of the people are using multiple alt accounts in the forum. Therefore, we are unable to read correct number in that. I hope you just focus only on price rise only. you need not worry about it, price will be the sky rocket value in end of this year for sure. All possible basis in counting how many bitcoin users are there in the world cannot help us to count and will be still impossible to count and give exact or even estimated numbers of bitcoins users.this is like counting our own hair. |

what was your attitude when you first got into bitcoin? was it to get rich quick? make some dollars? learn the tech?
and how has it changed the more you've learnt? did you go from a moon kid to a serious scholar of the tech or even more of a moon kid than before?
i started off as interested in the dollars, then got more and more fascinated by the whole world around it, now i think i'm starting to come out the other side a little.
the more i've learnt about this scene the more screwed up it seems and i don't see how it's gonna cure itself. there's money to be made but i might be doing it no longer believing in its immediate future.
cryptocurrencies will never go anywhere but i'm starting to think what's around us now will be looked back on as the experimental and growing pains phase rather than anything that directly survives and is built on into the future. uncool but from the heart.

No not at all it is impossible to count and give hypothesis in how many bitcoins users are there in the globe.If you will base on number of online wallets its still imposbile to count since there are no limits on how many wallets does a person can create so everyone can create multiple wallets.But one thing is sure we are millions of people who is using bitcoins by this time |

I do not gamble to much but it always seems that when I do, I take the loss big time. For example, I have lost over 3 BTC in the BustaBit game online. It is fun and I like to play but I always get greedy with it. I have won about 2.2 BTC back, but I lost more than what I have won. For some odd reason, I keep coming back over and over. I do not know why I do it, why do you?
