Well, that's a win and lose situation for PSG. The club will not able to get money if mbappe will be leaving with free agent. It's dilemma for PSG and the best choice to sell him. as soon as possible and getting some money that can be used to buy the players again. Milan's performance was really interesting in the Champions League unlike the Serie A. They eliminated Napoli as well indeed and it is thanks to their experience in this tournament too. Because technically Napoli were the better playing side in that matchup but Milan still found a way to get past them. Reaching the semi finals there was definitely a success for Milan.
But on the other hand they might not have been able to qualify for the Champions League again if it weren't for Juventus' 10-point punishment. Juventus were going to take their place in that case. Milan should make a good improvement in their Serie A performance this time.

Tottenham is a club with no ambition for the Premier League title. If the management of the club change hands then maybe there would be some hope for them to be more competitive than this. But considering their current situation I believe they don't deserve to have a world star player like Kane in their squad.
However Kane has never been this serious to leave the club either. He just looked comfortable with his position there. Of course the club is worshipping him due to his incredible performance so far. But players like Kane shouldn't waste their time at such clubs. They should immediately leave for a competitive club.

I have to admit that it all makes no sense to me anymore. Once upon a time, we had world cups with only 16 national teams and only 1 host. In a few years we will have a world cup with 48 national teams and 3 hosts, and I would not be surprised if in 2030 FIFA organizes a world cup with 64 national teams and 4 hosts. Obviously, FIFA no longer cares about football but only about making money, so maybe in 20 or 30 years we won't have qualifications for the World Cup at all because all the national teams of the world will have the right to participate I'm almost certain we'll have a world cup every 2 years soon. All together this no longer makes sense. Based on Wikipedia, the current number of countries is 194 countries. It is inconceivable if finally, FIFA continues to increase the number of World Cup participants, meaning that there is no more pride for countries that qualify because their chances are even greater and competition is very likely to be less competitive. It has been debated that FIFA is becoming an organization with a money orientation rather than developing football properly, unfortunately, there is not much that can be done and when they make many changes that focus on getting more money, many countries still desire to be the organizer of the world cup so they don't mind even though they are seen being used because being able to play in the World Cup until now is a pride for many national teams, especially when they understand that the opportunity to get it is difficult if they have to go through qualification, so the shortcut is to become a host by investing a lot of money. It's true what you said, in fact most of the players in the French National Team are naturalized from other countries. Personally, the egoism that is shown is not based on the origin of the player but rather on his star status at club level and individual fan base. The role of the coach and seniority is very important to reduce the attitude of fellow players on the field so that the final goal is to win the match. Didier Deschamps' squad in the Euro 2024 qualifiers was mostly made up of young players overall, otherwise only Giroud and Griezmann are over 30+.

I'm wondering what Manchester United will do in the Champions League this time. However Pakistan better speciality Saud Shakeel and Agha played well and continue after the wicket of Agha, Noman Ali come and played at 7 not out. Has their record buy £105 million midfielder Declan Rice got the temperament to live up to such a big price tag? In my opinion he was not worth more than £50 million but he became the Arsenal record buy. If Rice fails in his role and if Arsenal do not get off to a good start then it could be the beginning of the end for their manager Arteta.
West Ham United have received a phenomenal amount of money for Rice, they should go out and spend it wisely. They would like to avoid a relegation battle and try to finish in the top half therefore if they are careful with their new recruits they will challenge for the Europa League again as well as the two domestic cup competitions.
@JollyGood I disagree about Rice valuation because he was clearly worth $80 million at least but I’ll agree that Arsenal did pay extra to get him. Furthermore he’ll definitely be a instant hit because while West Ham flopped last season he was terrific whenever he had the ball and I was praying that Manchester United get him because he’s an player that can improve any team so I’m 100% confident that he won’t flop while playing for Arsenal. |
