501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram launches crypto currency wallet. on: September 16, 2023, 09:18:51 AM
I was wondering how safe it would be hence me bringing it here for discussion. So far the telegram platform is very porous and scammers carry out their nefarious act there which makes it not too conducive for most discussions and now Crypto wallet is about to take shape their with one storing or saving his or her assets there. What are the possibility that one can securely safe their assets there without having any issues of scam or hack through telegram hack?
Telegram has become a gathering place for Crypto enthusiasts. Telegram with cryptocurrency is nothing new. However, the problem is Telegram's security. Currently Telegram security is very easy to infiltrate. When Telegram creates a cryptocurrency wallet, there will certainly be lots of hacking attempts.
Or it could be by creating a fake link to the Telegram wallet. I have tried downloading the TON app but I am still not comfortable with the UI of the app.
I chose not to invest in TON but will still put it on my watchlist.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that you trust most on: September 16, 2023, 09:06:47 AM
That's right, I personally also like automatics at the moment, but the price hasn't come back yet. For others, there is a lot of potential, but for us traders, I think we need fast returns, of course. For the ARB, I also think it's worth monitoring its movements and it could be a game changer in the future if there are plans to buy now.
I have invested a lot of my money in MATIC because I believe it is a very good project. I recommend Hbar and Zcash. The last one may not be well known. But I believe that Hbar and MATIC will replace Ethereum as the most popular smart contract-based cryptocurrencies.
I'm still considering ARB because its growth has been quite good recently.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Cuban's Metamask was hacked on: September 16, 2023, 08:42:05 AM
I wonder how Cuban's wallet could have been hacked. I don't know if it's because the hacker is very professional or because he's lucky. But after I read the link I found out that Cuban was likely hacked via a fake metamask extension.

Quote
Many fraudsters create fake MetaMask extensions or applications, tricking users into providing their private keys or seed phrases. Once these malicious actors gain access, they can easily drain users’ cryptocurrency wallets.

Maybe it was human error that Cuban was experiencing. I don't know but I don't think this will affect his wealth much.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins are apparently more important then real world value on: September 16, 2023, 08:33:47 AM
Projects that capture value in the real world are nothing new. Honestly I haven't looked at the altcoin bulletin boards. If you wish, you can send your project link to me. I'm quite open to new projects and I'd like to see how you would realize it.
As NFTs hit the trend in 2021, many projects with real-world value concepts emerged. It is like an nfts but becomes a form or certificate of ownership for a real world asset. The project was unsuccessful because there were still so many security holes and people wouldn't believe it could guarantee/certify their real-world assets.
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hedera Hashgraph is ten times better than Ethereum on: September 16, 2023, 08:23:53 AM
The Hedera Hashgraph is an innovative DAG (Directed Acrylic Graph) that's directly compatible with Solidity-based smart contracts. Since the network itself has high transaction throughput, Hashgraph could become a fierce competitor against Ethereum in the future. Fees are ridiculously low, making "De-Fi" practical on Hedera Hashgraph. All it takes is for developers to migrate their ETH dApps into the Hashgraph DAG, for "HBAR" to become a big name in the crypto industry. It'll be an easy process considering that the network supports the Solidity programming language. It's like Ethereum on steroids. Yet, "HBAR" has a low price on the market. Maybe it's because people are not aware of its true benefits relative to Ethereum?

Do you think Hedera Hashgraph is better than Ethereum? If not, why? Does it have a future? Is "HBAR" extremely undervalued these days? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

From the concept "HBAR" is good but dominantly people still like ETH, this is also the same as the Zcash coin (ZEC) which if read has more advantages in terms of privacy and anonymity compared to BTC where they also use a transaction pattern that is almost the same as BTC and BTC is still the main idol of investors in reality.
I think that Zcash is a very good project but not many people know about it. This is difficult because the community is small so it is difficult to introduce Zcash to more people. What makes Bitcoin famous is that apart from being the first cryptocurrency in the world, the community that almost surrounds all crypto users is a strong reason why Bitcoin will never be replaced.

Regarding Hbar as I have said before that it is a good project and I am very sure that one day Hbar will replace Ethereum as the best smart contract.
506  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: bounty hunter makin berkurang karena maraknya projec scam on: September 16, 2023, 04:30:16 AM

507  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [Diskusi] Altcoin yang Jadi Pesaing Utama Bitcoin on: September 16, 2023, 04:16:55 AM

508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you feeling the old professional bounty managers? on: September 15, 2023, 09:55:35 AM
However it is not the job of the manager to "gift" us bounties. Rather the companies give them a hard time with payments and all and thus they might refuse to undertake this responsibility.
Overall, I feel bitcoin paying campaigns are the holy grail and should be the ones everyone should target.
There used to be so many rewards managers running altcoin campaigns. I was also a participant in it. Uncertainty such as whether the project will be successful, what the price will be after the ICO, and the length of the campaign are the reasons why many old managers are no longer around today.
As a participant, I still remember that we had to work for up to 10 weeks just to get rubbish coins.
This means that maybe there are some of them who are now running campaigns with Bitcoin payments. But there are also those who have retired (it seems) like Sylon and btcltcdigger.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low cap altcoins best for rising price? on: September 15, 2023, 09:34:48 AM
Are you collecting low cap altcoins for the bull market? It sounds like you think low cap altcoins can easily make 100x profits. I don't think so and even if the supply of a good quality project is high then you will get good profit there. Many new investors tend to follow supply more. You should know that there are many low cap altcoins that can't even sail the market in bull seas.
I also think not. Altcoins that have low capitalization and also very small prices are mostly scams. I think it's better to be careful than to expect profits and then lose all your money. People think that a coin priced at $0.00... it's very easy to go up to $0.1 because it's so cheap. There are so many factors that have to be considered, such as what the maximum supply is, what the market capitalization is, and how much is spread on the stock exchange.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDC is not safe on: September 15, 2023, 09:25:44 AM
Some stablecoins are just bullshit, but certainly not all of them. In my opinion, USDT, USDC, BUSD are still safe until now, although there are still risks, such as UST, which will eventually become useless due to the LUNA incident.
now even we still need stablecoins for Bitcoin trading pairs and that can't be denied anymore. without a Stablecoin pair you will not trade well.
I agree with you. All three stable coins are trustworthy. At least I didn't find any negative news about these three coins. And it is true that stable coins cannot be separated in crypto transactions because trading pairs with Bitcoin and altcoins are still very effective. But I will not store a lot of my assets in stable coins because as OP has started, stable coins are very risky for inflation if they face a crisis like FIAT money.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Coinstore's CEX Listing / IEO / Marketing on: September 15, 2023, 09:13:32 AM
Can you send me a link? Like your website link and your LinkedIN link? I am interested in your marketing because I also happen to be from Asia Pacific. Why don't you just introduce yourself here? Like it doesn't need to be your real self but yourself as part of Coinstore. Sometimes some people are lazy to interact by PM.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF said: WHAT HAPPENED? on: September 15, 2023, 09:01:25 AM
SBF donated huge sum of amount to the current government regime that is why he is very confident with this kind of crime.
I know thwt by any means even though he might ended up in prison, his punishment will not be much.
I am very sorry for so many investors he reaped out with getting there funds back.
This is what I've been worried about for a long time. I think FTX has some backup behind it. What FTX has done is like something that was planned. Or at least plan to implement it.
I also thought that there would be no harsh punishment to be had. It could have been something like a prison sentence for several years but it turns out he is still free outside prison.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk accidentally created a new cryptocurrency. WTF? on: September 15, 2023, 08:47:42 AM
Well now we know this is not true. But Elon Musk now said he will accept Bitcoins for Tesla payments. This is since mix of energy sources leveraged by Bitcoin miners has reached sustainables of 50%.

https://www.thestreet.com/cryptocurrency/markets/elon-musk-said-tesla-to-resume-bitcoin-payments-after-crossing-this-threshold
At first I thought it was old news because a long time ago Elon Musk actually said that he would accept BTC and DOGE as payment for Tesla. But after I visited your link it turned out that Elon Musk had resumed accepting BTC for Tesla payments.
I don't know what Elon Musk is thinking because honestly this man is really unpredictable  Grin
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: creating a token without money on: September 14, 2023, 09:42:30 AM
If you are a good web designer or if you know the workings of software very well, you can create a token at no cost. If you have a dream you just create a token but without money then you can create that token without money but if you want to trade with that token then you have to spend money. You can never introduce a coin to the market without spending money. You can never develop your own token for free where people work for money. Listing a token on a normal exchange also costs you money. So it is possible to generate tokens for free but it is not possible to list the tokens in the market or introduce them to the market.
So, this is an important point that needs to be paid attention to. If, for example, you are a genius who is an expert in websites, design, understands smart contracts and cryptography, then you use all your abilities and you can finally create tokens at no cost. But “making it famous” is a very difficult thing. As I said before, even those of you who are Influencers still need money to make your project famous.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify shitcoins? on: September 14, 2023, 09:32:20 AM
Well most important if there is no real use for it and no value it is a shitcoin. A shitcoin will be a coin that we see big gains and profits for no reason but insider information. Or a rugpull we will see alot of times with shitcoins.
We can know just by looking at the website. Cheaply made or if they paid some money into making it look good.
Usually Shitcoin has very, very cheap prices and the circulating supply is very, very large. This is the easiest thing to see. Likewise with other things such as copy paste white papers, cheap websites with fake designers, and road maps that don't make sense. I often read posts from @cryptovator and it can increase my knowledge about scam or shitcoin projects.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that you trust most on: September 14, 2023, 06:49:39 AM
My trust on altcoin depends on ability of it's community members. As such, one is Ethereum, second is Hive. Ethereum is well-known already. Regarding Hive, my faith in it increased a lot after the devs from community forked Hive from Steemit after Justin Sun's takeover.
Very few people recommend Hive here. I also want to recommend the coin because I believe in its strong team and community. You are doing a great job in promoting the coin which I also think is great. The price is also still cheap so I think this is the right time to invest.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Reddit coins? on: September 14, 2023, 06:34:37 AM
With social media such as Reddit and Twitter gradually introducing their userbase to crypto the next hype trend could be SocialFi coins, do you suggest investing on those coins or too risky?
I don't use Reddit and it seems like Reddit is banned in some countries. But if the concept is a social media based token, I'm thinking about investing a few dollars there. But it's very risky. The problem is what is the function of the Reddit Token? Can it give a high status account or is it like an in-app purchase? There are many problems that must be resolved first.

As far as I remember, Facebook once wanted to create their token, namely Libra, which functioned as a means of exchange. But for some reason now I no longer hear that news from them.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The implications of FTX's multi-billion crypto sell-off... on: September 14, 2023, 05:51:47 AM
Could this possibly have a major impact on the crypto market? I personally don't think so because of the $100-$200M selling limit per week. Also, FTX's Solana exposure is vested, meaning they won't be able to access those tokens until 2028. But, as we all know, anything is possible in crypto! Let's see how the market reacts.
This will certainly have a huge impact, especially for Solana. Big sales mean there will be dumps. It will be a challenge for Solana to survive all these dumps. But the market will certainly move. It's a shame because I think Solana is one of the best when it comes to fast and smooth chain linking.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $28M stolen from CoinEx - are your funds safe? on: September 14, 2023, 05:37:18 AM
I never use an exchange to store my funds. I prefer to use my personal wallet. It's much safer. I only use exchanges to trade or exchange cryptocurrencies. It's a shame for those who keep their money there. I just hope the company really compensates users for their losses.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hedera Hashgraph is ten times better than Ethereum on: September 13, 2023, 06:14:57 AM
I also believe that Hashgraph will soon become king and will replace Ethereum. Even though it looks difficult, I'm sure people will choose a fast and cheap network. Although it takes time but I have taken the initiative to invest in Hashgraph. This is a promising project.
