501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won a huge amount on gambling? on: September 01, 2019, 02:50:22 PM
In my experiences, I already won but a little amount of BTC only betting on a boxing fight which is Pacquiao-Thurman fight.

Now can I ask you, did you ever won a huge amount of money on gambling?
Share your experience.
if gambling like casino, poker, and the like online I have never been, but if investing in crypto quite often. but it is arguably gambling or not I do not understand.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 01, 2019, 02:18:30 PM
New season is starting today the 20/08/2016!

Atalanta
Bologna
Cagliari
ChievoVerona
Crotone
Empoli
Fiorentina
Genoa
Internazionale
Juventus
Lazio
Milan
Napoli
Palermo
Pescara
Roma
Sampdoria
Sassuolo
Torino
Udinese
I think Juventus will still dominate the top flight and win the Scudetto again, which can compensate Juventus in my opinion is only Inter Milan because of the arrival of ROMELU LUKAKU from Manchester United.
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 31, 2019, 06:01:17 PM
Just curious here.
I know there are tons of way to live.

but is there such a thing as professional gamblers?

people who make a living onlyout of gambling (online or on rl)?

resources and comments on that are really welcome.
I have not found anyone who depends on income from gambling, but there are people like that, whether it has become a hobby or because they are forced to get rich quick. need experience and techniques to become a professional gambler.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: August 31, 2019, 05:30:04 PM
I have noticed we dont have a thread regarding the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup and thought we should change that!

This is going to be the 18. basketball world cup with 32 participants. It is going to take place in China from 31/8/2019 till 15/9/2019 and we will have a total of 96 matches to enjoy.

Personally I cant wait for it to start. Firstly because I have high hopes in my country Greece this time (yeah, Giannis along with his two brothers will start)! Cheesy Secondly because I love basketball in general and this time many nations seem to take part with many of their NBA star players. Last but not least: There will be some great opportunities bettingwise! Smiley

GROUP A

Even though I think Greece shall play a good role this time, I dont think they will win the trophy... Wink Do you believe anyone could upset the USA this time?
I think the USA E group will advance to the next phase easily because the only fight is Japan, Turkey and the Czech Republic. who can approach the USA game maybe only Japan in this group. I still champion USA to lift this prestigious trophy.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lomachenko-Campbell Unification Fight on: August 30, 2019, 06:32:35 PM
Lomachenko-Campbell
Date: August 31, 2019
Venue: London’s O2 Arena

ccto

Barely two weeks from now we are going to see the unification bout between Lomachenko and Campbell who were both olympic gold medalist during the 2012 London Olympics.

Loma is the huge favorite on the online bookies but we never knew what would happen in this fight as Campbell is a world champion too.

Your thoughts guys...
this is a youth battle that has been anticipated because both winners of the 2012 London Olympics gold medal, it is difficult to predict who will survive in the ring. many who champion Loma but it can not be a reference for the winner later, whoever makes a little mistake he will have a chance to win this fight.
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: August 30, 2019, 05:58:32 PM
I think Barcelona and Athletico Madrid will dominate the top board and compete fiercely, because the two clubs at the pre-season game was amazing. What's more when athletico managed to hook one of the young stars from Portugal, Jo Felix, by showing a fantastic game.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guys started to gambling with cryptos or fiat money? on: August 30, 2019, 05:23:23 PM
I started with fiat money, before cryptos, but only in sports bets, but after I found about cryptos I started to gambling in online casinos
And I prefer to bet with BTC, it's easier to play in any website I want

Before cryptos, it was hard to bet in my country because we have some strict laws against casinos and the IPs usually were blocked
I am less interested in the casino site, I prefer investing directly in BTC. indeed how to get everyone's income is different because it has the desired path of each. if I force myself to gamble in casinos that I am not good at, the results will also be useless.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: August 29, 2019, 05:02:16 PM
I'll ask such a banal question (yes, is there already a rule in this forum)

Do you know how to make money by betting Esports? Do you have any good ways (in your opinions) to make money? Or maybe only intuition , current form, players' morale?

I think it's a pretty good idea, such as more serious consideration and analysis like here on esports bettings talks  but I'm talking about restricted discussions in the restricted area. Insiders and key information. Do you know any other sources of this kind or somethink for reading like blogosphere gaming information and news here ?
I myself do not know a game site that can make money because I have never tried it, but I often take poker and casino gambling sites that can earn up to 50% more. I myself still study it before deciding to join in it.
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: August 29, 2019, 03:50:30 PM
This is the discussion thread for the Champions League. Europa League thread can be found here:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5161551.

Greeting European League punters! With the old UEFA threads closed/locked, I'm creating 2 separate threads to discuss the two seasonal UEFA club competitions. Please keep the discussions to the correct thread!

After some Prelims last month, today kicks off the Qualification rounds and we can recognise a few names already. My upset picks for the 1st leg? Ararat (Armenia) and Cluj (Romania) vs fancier opponents from Sweden and Kazakhstan.

Here are the tables for reference (Source: Wiki and UEFA).

With the opening of the European Champions League, this has been eagerly awaited by all football fans in the world, because many big clubs and favorites will participate in it, currently the champions league draw is underway. I am waiting for a hell group to occur this year so that the match will be exciting.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Would you Like to See in a New Casino Site on: August 29, 2019, 03:17:27 PM
I was wondering if there's any new thing you expects to see in a new Casino website that would make it truly unique? To me, it doesn't really matter if it's just a dice or multi casino platform. What I consider truly important is relationship with the customers/players. Not being shady, trying to game players with bogus Terms of Use. I also like proactive customer support and a platform run by knowledgeable operators.

Deposits, Bets and Withdrawals: I like instant deposit, doesn't matter if withdrawal is automatic as long as it is honored in a timely manner.

VIP: This seems pretty cool to me but not 100% necessary.

Support: Like I said, I like Casino site with proactive support. Live chat is a must to me if I am to use the platform. Although I may not use it, seeing it gives me a kind of assurance.

Prizes: This is neither Yes nor No to me

Games: Like I said, It could be one game or multiple games platform.

Auto-mode: Auto-mode with stop loss is cool to me too and will encourage players. I like cashout system.

Dice Speed: Slow-Medium speed dice.

These are popular features of current casino platforms. Do you think it's necessary to bring in new features or we should just limit it at these? Innovation is what drives every industry. So, I won't rule out the customer's desires. What are the features you always look out to see in a casino site that you would like to see in a new upcoming ones?

Thanks and feel free to say Hi to me in aanyway you can  Undecided

The casino site is indeed popular right now because of the game and the prizes, I haven't fully played it here and am learning to understand the casino site first. many of my friends play on the site, so it's easier to understand later.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: August 27, 2019, 02:06:38 PM
Politics seems predictable most of the time but looks like few people actually bet on it. Example, you know Joe Bidden has probably 50% chance of winning the Democrats primary. What stops you from picking and betting on that? Do you bet on politics and what are your winning stats.

Some time around October 2016 after the Access Hollywood tape was released, a certain betting site gave 108 to Trump winning the election. I believed strongly that Trump was going to win despite everything thrown at him. I had $5,000 and wanted to pick the odd. Somehow, I didn't follow through. That could have given me over half a million dollars in winning.

How often do you bet on Politics? Any reason why most people don't really bet on Politics? Do you know any trusted betting site that offers good odds in American Politics?
I myself just found out if there are betting sites in politics, usually I only play games and invest it to earn dollars. I personally do not like politics because it is too complicated and a variety of different understandings.
512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I've lost on: August 27, 2019, 01:35:22 PM
I've lost big. Over the last two or three years, I've lost 60K in total. It was almost my entire savings.
It started out with a large investment in bitcoin when the price was about 13K.
When the price dropped to below 4K, I lost all hope after waiting forever and gambled it on bitcoin gambling sites trying to triple it up, just to make my money back.
I lost that and a lot more. Never imagined it turning out this way. Especially after the price went back up.
I don't have a lot of close people to turn to nowadays. It's hard to get through each day feeling horrible. Just needed to reach out somewhere.
Sorry if this isn't the place.
You may not know crypto more, so you regret the decision you made. you need to know that crypto is fluctuating, where prices can change significantly at any time without you knowing. if you think investing in crypto can make you wealthy quickly that's a big mistake, if you don't know the technology of this digital world.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I don't know how to trust a gambling site nowadays! on: August 26, 2019, 02:59:02 PM
Why nowadays when there's a gambling site that offer a bunos on your first depost it seems like scam?  Especially if the bunos is to much than your initial deposit.

And also whe all knows mostly gambling site nowadays are using KYC.  but why when there's a promising site that doesn't require  kyc it smell fishy as well?  What did happen to this world?  How to trust again on this kind of sites?
if no bonus is promised at the beginning of the deposit then no one will be interested to enter it, maybe that's why the site uses that strategy. if KYC is indeed now a lot of projects or gambling sites using KYC, it is possible for the requirements to join customers because KYC can find out the customer's personal data.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: August 26, 2019, 02:26:14 PM
After playing gambling games hundreds of times, without much effort in winning substantial profits at all, it makes me wonder what could be the secret of gambling? Personally, I find myself comfortable playing crypto-based gambling games, because of their greater level of accessibility than traditional games. I believe that gambling games which use cryptocurrencies and Blockchain tech, are much fairer than traditional ones within the mainstream world. Yet, you tend to lose more money than you've initially invested into a gambling game.

Which is why, I'm deeply curious to know if there's actually a secret within gambling that would allow me to win more than losing? Any thoughts about this will be greatly appreciated. Smiley
if there is a secret in gambling that allows to continue to win, the game might immediately go bankrupt. every game there must be a win and lose it's normal, but if you continue to lose means playing great because it does not have an increase in skill hehe ...
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: July 05, 2019, 08:51:57 AM
I think it's high time projects know that they cannot rely solely on bounty and airdrop as a means of promotion. A lot of projects launch and they rely on their bounty campaigns and airdrop to help bring in investors and therefore fail to reach their softcap.

I never said bounties are not effective but it should only be used to create and reward their community not to bring in investors. If a project wants to promote it crowdsale then the team should deploy real promotional means like paying top influencers, attending conferences, advertisements on top sites like coinmarketcap, etc. Because no matter how good the project is, if it can't market properly then it won't reach its goals and if a project is mediocre but have a top notch marketing program, it will succeed beyond expectations.
the possibility of a new project deciding to use a bounty campaign method because they lack funds and need investors to do as you say. I do not blame a new project using the method as long as it has been established and runs the project correctly and does not harm others.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Binance Exchange Is Launching Crypto Futures Trading Platform? on: July 04, 2019, 08:34:47 AM
Well!! Binance just announced Binance Futures which will support 20x leverage for Bitcoin futures in the coming months.

will binance is trying to improve its reputation among investors?

What's your take on this?
it could be like that, isn't this better means that there is mining and the progress made by Binance itself. what Binance is doing is very good and I support it, because it is also for the advancement of the digital world that is growing and is known to many people of course.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ideas - dead cryptos on: July 04, 2019, 08:10:24 AM
What dead crypto currencies do you know?

What are the possibilities for crypto currencies that almost can't be exchanged any more?

Do you have any ideas how to make money on big amounts of abandoned cryptos?
many crypto currencies die and many new crypto appear that will compete with other crypto, which cannot survive will be lost or dead. it has been sentenced to trade.
as a trader we must be smart in choosing the coins to be invested by analyzing them before deciding to join them. Don't be tempted by low market value and buy everything, quite a bit but it can be profitable for you in the future it's better.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never buy too much coins because you would eventually forgot gosh on: July 04, 2019, 07:31:27 AM
So, as you guys know, most coins will do swap when they perform blockchain upgrades or changing the coins to to a new coin

I just forgot about one of my coins and the swap was ended in the 31st of December
and guess what?

I just lost 0.3 btc because of it
God damn this is so painful

Been holding the coins since 2 year ago in the ICO stage
Never make such mistake guys remember
what you say is true, too. it's better to buy a little but can get a big profit than a lot but later it will disappear, it's just a waste of funds and time. most if prices are dropped off all want to be bought without analyzing it first, whether it can get profits in the future or not.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some Risks Of Long-Term Hodling Alts on: July 03, 2019, 02:02:59 PM
  • You might end up holding dead coins if the project gets abandoned
  • You might miss swaps and end up holding worthless tokens
  • Delisting of coin/token and you miss the withdraw period (in case you store coins/tokens on exchanges)

Take time to follow news/updates on the coins/tokens you invested to minimize the above listed risks. Checking up their telegram/discord/social media once or twice a month will help.
yes maybe everything you say is true, but it depends on what coins are invested. because there are coins that are suitable for long-term investment, if investing in the top 10 markets will most likely not be lost or dead. before deciding to invest, make sure to analyze it first.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your View of Facebook Coins? on: July 03, 2019, 12:43:47 PM
What's special about Facebook coins? partnership? quality product? next crypto or maybe think it's a bitcoin revolution? What do you think.

if I'm private, whatever it is, I will enjoy what they have made like a Bitcoin coin. so, if Facebook coins have a big chance on the market, of course I will use them and vice versa.
with the presence of Facebook coins this means that the crypto world is growing and many are interested. technology is growing and many are using it to do business and make more profits. I support the development of Facebook coins.
