501  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in Economics class? on: October 25, 2017, 05:42:51 AM

Do you think they are talking about bitcoin in your basic ECON class?

Maybe, bitcoin is so popular in the social media. Students are more interested in what they see in the internet like in facebook, twitter.Technology can make things possible, so i guess, bitcoin is one of their main topic in the class sometimes.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Give me a coin that will easily go 3x on: October 24, 2017, 10:02:54 PM
to find out a coin that is going 10x is really hard, lets be realist.
But 2x - 3x is far more easy, any thoughts?  Roll Eyes

It's hard to predict the time when a particular coin that will probably pump atleast 10x, even a coin that will pump 2x or 3x.

But ETH, XRP are some good coin. I've experienced proven it already.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The END of ICO's? on: October 24, 2017, 09:56:27 PM
I don't think this series of events signals the end of ICOs. Regulation is inevitable. The strongest ICOs will still find a way to succeed, with or without government regulation.

I agree, it will not be the end of Initial Coin Offerings, the strong projects with substance will always find the way. I also would like to point out that SEC is targeting Token used as a security not currency.

Correct, Initial Coin Offerings strong project will find its way to succeed even if there are some regulations may formally announced. I am hoping for the better regulations that may help to identify the scam ICO or maybe at least lessen the scam ICO.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [BTG] my Bitcoin Gold speculation on: October 24, 2017, 09:45:33 PM

506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I start gambling site? on: October 24, 2017, 01:05:34 AM
I have budget of 300 to 500$ for this project
Is my budget is enough to start own gambling site , exclude advertising.
How much time I need to spent on this?
Which features should I add in my gambling site? ( Games or etc.)
Anything Else or any suggestion.
PLEASE DONT COME IF YOU WANT TO LAUGH ON ME

( I don't have any knowledge but I want to invest my money somewhere which give me good profit or only profit)

It is very important for every investment is the the knowledge about when/where you are putting your investment. 300-500usd is not enough for you to start your own gambling sites for you will be needing your own website for that. For you to have your own website, that 300-500USD is not enough.

I think, you should go for other investment while you are learning about gambling site matters for you to earn more before you proceed with your plans in life.

507  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: October 24, 2017, 12:56:59 AM
Last week is not a good week in my trading job. I got some loss instead of profit. I just take it in a positive way by convincing myself that i can earn it soon. It makes me realize that in trading, you should not put all your money in one place for it will be too risky in the part of the investor.

I will not do it again even if i find it profitable for i could be wrong with my decision.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO, still promising? on: October 24, 2017, 12:50:05 AM
I am a person that gains profit from investing in ICOs but now I'm having second thoughts. I know some ICOs are potential scam so I am really picky to where I put my money.
Anyway, considering with what happened to Ethereum price and with the nearing Aigist 1, do you guys think that it will still be profitable to invest on ICOs mostly on ERC20 tokens and those accepting btc payments?

I always see ICO as a promising investment but you are right, there are some scam ICO and need to be careful in choosing the right one.

But even if there are scam ICO i still find ICO very profitable.

510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I want to make $100,000 in altcoin on: October 24, 2017, 12:38:57 AM
Before making a million that is  Cheesy

So it's simple really. If I buy for example $1,000 of a coin at $0.01 I will get 100,000 coins which I can sell at $1.00 making me $100,000  Cool

OR

I can buy $1,000 of a coin at $0.10 I will get 10,000 coins which I can sell at $10 making me $100,000  Cool

You see, it's simple  Cheesy

So, which coin I buy?  Cheesy

Trading is not easy, you are very lucky when you done it exactly and get a result as you expected but trading is unpredictable and so much hard to do some investment that may earn a great profit.

511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I late to the party? on: October 23, 2017, 11:34:25 PM
I feel so late to the party. Coins now are very expensive, like $5800 for Bitcoin and $345 for Ethereum... then $5 - $30 for other coins. I take a look at the blockchain explorers and see big holders of coins, for example some people have 1000+ bitcoin, a lot of people have 500,000+ ethereum. These people got the coins when they were 1 penny each, now I have to pay $500 for the same coin?

Why are the coins so expensive today? Can I go back in time and get them cheaper?

Even if I put in a lot of my money, I only get a fraction of what people were able to get 1 year ago. 1 year ago people got coins for 1 penny and stashed 100,000 coins for $1000, now I have to pay $1000 just for 1 coin?!? I feel so ripped off!

Also I knew about Bitcoin when it was $30, and I knew about Ethereum when it was $7! I was alive in these time periods and was looking online and reading about these things but it all flew by!

Am I too late to the party? Is it a good time to get buy today or should I find a way to time travel back in time?

My frustration is BIG.

You are not late, you can invest anytime and earn. Even if the party just started but then if you can do a lot and you have the guts towards the party, then you can do it!!!
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Gold, Price Speculation on: October 23, 2017, 11:09:36 PM
We will be waiting for the bitcoin gold's performance if it is better than bitcoin cash. The day is almost approaching, the long wait is almost over to all investors and bitcoin users.

But i think bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold performance will just the same. Let us just wait if i am correct or wrong for that expectation.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: October 23, 2017, 11:04:04 PM
I will always support ethereum. I believe it will survive for a long time. I've made my investment for how many times and it goes well.
514  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tricky Question, Sell BTC and buy Altcoin? on: October 23, 2017, 03:23:58 PM
It is  a good time for Crypto Land, we are on the moon,.... and even better.
When we have to sell Bitcoin and buy Altcoin?
Forking makes your Bitcoin higher,
so I can sell it.

These extra money can be used to buy (cheap) altcoins,... anyone has suggestion when do I have to start to buy it?

Yes, for sure, after the hard fork there will be a changes in  BTC price because investors will invest in some altcoins because it will be a great chance to earn more when you invest in altcoins when it is at the lowest price.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will altcoins pump after BTC hard fork? on: October 23, 2017, 03:15:39 PM
Due to BTC hard fork, most altcoins are decreasing for weeks.
After last forks, people think they can make money. I don't think it's possible this time, but that's not my point.
While market cap remained constant, many people transferred altcoins into BTCs.
Now my question is, do you believe this trend will go into reverse?
I'm quite sure BTC decrease sharply after fork, but will altcoins increase or market cap decrease?
Glad to hear your opinions!

I think some altcoins will surely rise again and i am planning of making an investment in some altcoins for i can see a higher income with that.

After the hardfork, investors may sell their BTC if the price of BTC will go lower than the price now and may result of investment in altcoins
516  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: October 23, 2017, 02:53:26 PM
I have read some posts and some concerns that it is the volatility of Bitcoin that is preventing many people and many businesses to fully adopt Bitcoin. This can be the main factor why big online shopping stores are not yet adding Bitcoin into their payment facilities (though there is now a circulated petition for this but I doubt if it can make a dent).

Some are really saying that if volatility can be managed then we can see Bitcoin going mainstream. I am wondering then: Is volatility something that we should find a way to control and how do you think it can be done?

In my opinion, bitcoin's volatility cannot be control by any means since bitcoin is decentralized and the demand also changes. The price are effected by supply and demand that can't control by anyone.
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin reaches a record level, surpassing $ 6,000 on: October 23, 2017, 02:49:47 PM
Bitcoin reached record value Friday, exceeding the $ 6,000 threshold, and reaching a total capitalization of over $ 100 billion, as investors continue to look optimistically at this virtual currency, which exists in limited quantities and which has opened the way for several  ... More

I am so much happy when i see the chart that time. Never expect that anymore, i thought that may happen next year but i was wrong for that expectation. I hope to see the same scenario after the hard fork or may be more but i expect a lower price of BTC after the hard fork.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BITCOIN is the KING on: October 23, 2017, 06:02:36 AM
Investing on Bitcoin is the best think to do if you cant decide on what else to buy. I think bitcoin will be trillion dollars market cap in less than a decade. Any opinion?Huh?

Yes, bitcoin is the King! For now, i can't find any alts that can replace bitcoin.

I find investment as my first priority when i have some extra income in my online jobs.
519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin wallet be hacked by hackers? on: October 23, 2017, 05:26:14 AM
can they hack into our wallet. There are many professional hackers out there. What are the chances? Also what is the safest way to safeguard ourself?

It is possible, anything can happen. Hackers can be found anywhere and always ready to do something when you are not capable of doing extra protection with your wallet. It is important to secure your password, your phone, computer, internet.
520  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Found this today why bitcoin is better on: October 23, 2017, 04:12:18 AM
Because it is quite popular and valuable, more importantly it is useful to everyone.
You can trade Bitcoin with anyone in the world with just the internet, fast and easy without the traditional procedures like banks.
Accuracy is high as Bitcoin decreases to satoshi.
Bitcoin are not limited to indiscriminately printing such as paper money.

True, bitcoin is very useful, honestly it truly helps me transfer my funds to somebody without going outside and exposing myself to sunlight and falling in line before the teller entertain your transaction.
