501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to buy not top 100 crypto currencies? on: August 01, 2018, 05:23:32 PM
Hey what do you think, is it risky to buy crypto currencies that are not top 100? I mean do you have a higher chance to lose your money or not?

Hey NikoF!  You certainly have a greater chance to lose money investing on cryptocurrency below the top 100!

You see, a coin/token listed in the top 100 indicates a successful company whose altcoins already has a good value and somehow stood the test of market time.

Though, if your budget could play around, it would also be great to invest on a strong product/service backed cryptocurrency that falls beyond the top 100 and whisper to lady luck for a wishbone effect! #winks
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With how much should i start on: August 01, 2018, 05:07:31 PM
How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!

There is none actually. The amount of altcoins you need to start trading will be defined by two practical factors.

One, the amount you can freely spare (and wont mind losing) should things does not work out.

Second, the amount of profit you want to gain and how quick you want it.  A bigger capital would of course entail a bigger dividend or profit.

And kindly allow me to stress, invest only what you can afford to lose. Goodluck!
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How important is a community behind a crypto project? on: August 01, 2018, 04:54:25 PM
Hello all,

I came across this article that talks about the importance of a community backing a project, how important do you think it is? Do you think they can get by through large marketing budgets instead? and do you agree with the article?

https://medium.com/crowdholding-innovation-platform/why-do-you-need-to-build-a-loyal-community-for-crypto-projects-14b9207608c2

But of course, any good project will end up having a strong community backing so to say the least.  And at times, this loyal crypto community is a better choice rather than generic marketing strategies available in the market.

Specially if the loyal community backers are actual people! This will surely drive a lot of selling force and is a very attractive indicator of a good crypto investment.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you stay informed about Altcoins? on: August 01, 2018, 04:44:10 PM
There are now many hundreds of Altcoin and token projects. Most of you will certainly be invested in many. How do you manage to keep informed about them? Do you use special websites or tools as well as strategies not to miss anything?

Truly, this year witnessed an increase of Altcoin creations and token based projects and keeping up with them is really a bit of a pain since there is no one-stop platform that tracks down every new altcoin project.

But on a personal note, what i usually do is make sure i'm on the telegram group of the project that interests me. Then i also bookmark their website of course and often visit them. Lastly, i refer to icotrackers and reviewers for keynotes.

Hope this helps.
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bill Gate against investing into bitcoin? on: July 25, 2018, 06:03:56 PM
I recently read through the comments made by Bill Gate on bitcoin and other related cryptocurrencies (https://www.google.com.gh/amp/s/www.cnet.com/google-amp/news/microsoft-founder-bill-gates-would-bet-against-bitcoin/). From the comments he made, it is obvious that, Bill Gate is against investing into cryptocurrency. Critically appraising and analyzing how helpful bitcoin and other cryptocurrency are and base on the comments Bill Gate made, I don't see the reason why he is against cryptocurrency. Probably he might be having his own reasons of which I am not aware of. Can someone help as to why Bill Gate spoke against bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies?

I don't think Bill gates was against investing into Bitcoin, because He is a tycoon businessman, it could be one of his strategy actually, since He

knows the Bill gates was very influential billionaire person probably he believed that the value of bitcoin will goes down because of the FUD he will

will going to make then once bitcoin down He can buy a huge of it then also hold in a long terms.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: July 25, 2018, 05:53:05 PM
Bitcoin and Ethereum are both good to buy this year then hold. In my perception about these two before end of this year they will both come

into increase their price value where most of the bitcoin and Eth holder waiting for it. So let us hols for awhile and wait a little bit longer before

we regret in the end. Let us be more patience mate. Smiley
507  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins and bitcoin - Where is the good investment now? on: July 25, 2018, 05:42:25 PM
Huh Huh Although bitcoin has been on the rise for the past few days, altcoins seem to have stalled. Between altcoins and bitcoin, what is a good medium term investment  Huh

If you want to earn big my tips is invest in altcoins just important it is potential compare into bitcoin. particularly right now Bitcoin was rapidly

increased in a couple of days I think while most altcoins goes down which is I think good to take chance to buy those potential coin who got

dumped like Eth, Neo, Omisego, Qtum, waves, and Tky also Utk.
508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Choose the Best Cryptocurrency Exchange on: July 25, 2018, 05:36:28 PM
Bitcoin Garden: How to Choose the Best Cryptocurrency Exchange
https://bitcoingarden.org/how-to-choose-the-best-cryptocurrency-exchange/

Since there are hundreds of exchanges, the first thing you’ll have to do is eliminate the vast majority of them. It’s not realistic to go through each and every one of them individually. So most of the startups should be eliminated by default. You want your primary exchange to be a reputable exchange with some history behind it.

If you need help selecting a few exchanges, check out this article on some of the best exchanges. It will help you make a list of top cryptocurrency exchanges based on various metrics such as total volume, regulation, reputation, etc.

After you have a list of viable exchanges, you can go over the following factors to determine which exchange is ideal for your particular situation.

If you’re completely new to cryptocurrency, this bit will prove to be quite important. There are some exchanges that do not accept fiat currency deposits. In order to use these exchanges, you first have to convert your fiat currency into cryptocurrency and then transfer the cryptocurrency to one of these exchanges.

So if you need to buy cryptocurrency, you will need to choose an exchange that accepts fiat. These exchanges will also require your personal information in order to adhere to anti-money laundering laws and other regulations imposed on companies that take in customer deposits....

Correction, there is no hundred of exchanges, because when we are going to the popularity and stability of exchange platform, it is still no.1

exchange for me was Bittrex, then next is Kucoin, Binance, Coinbene, cobinhood, hitbtc, livecoin, houbi, and cryptopia.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Alt Coins are a scam. on: July 25, 2018, 05:30:53 PM
Well this is what the insightful Tone Vays claims...

He claims that ETH, DASH, shit 99.5% of all the ALTS are scams and the only coin that will survive is Bitcoin.

So l guess we should all sell our Alts now!

I don't agree on what you just said, because if all altcoin are scam, why still people in the forum continue buying coins in the market and buying

in the ico project? It is because they believed that there is few coins and ico still giving an opportunity to everyone in this business industry.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Winner of this year, ETH or BTC? on: July 25, 2018, 05:15:36 PM
Hello everyone!

Recently, I was thinkig. Is there really any reason for the BTC to be the market leader? The only thing that is giving the value to BTC is pretty much the fact, that it was the first crypto currency. It is the grandfather of all cryptos. But we know it has its flaws... It was never designed for broad usage, it has scaling issues and so on.

On the other hand, we were given ETH. The Crypto Kitties or w/e the awesome internet meme ETH appliction is called showed us, that ETH network has issues with high amounts of usage. BUT, 90% of all altcoins are based on the ERC-20 standard, brought to us by ETH. The smart contracts using the Solidity are extremly good piece of technolgy.

So my question is. Do you think, that BTC will keep its leadership, or will ETH be the winner of this year and surpass its ancestor?

Bitcoin is the no. 1 still for me  rather to Ethereum, especially the price value of bitcoin so far was reached the 8000$ in just a couple of days only. Maybe it happens because of the coming ETF again once bitcoin become approve by this ETF I think that's the time Bitcoin will goes up again.
511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why are people afraid to invest in cryptocurrency? on: July 17, 2018, 05:32:02 PM
Some times I usually think of the reason people are afraid of investing in cryptocurrency, despite the its value and durability, cryptocurrency is a standards investment that will always give the investor the chance of becoming a millionaire due to its appreciative nature, people fail to understand the fact behind cryptocurrency investment, most times the people trying to invest may not have a maximum knowledge of cryptocurrency.

For every crypto currency it is equivalent as assets, which means it can produce profits. Since this is trading business it can help you out in

financials solution problems. Meaning, anybody can become a millionaire because of crypto, which I agreed in the above as well. Now if ther are

people afraid cryptocurrency it is because they poorly lack of knowledge about it. They saw the disadvantage of crypto currency but nevr see the

advantage of cryptocurrency.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Failed Projects Returning Investors Money on: July 17, 2018, 05:21:38 PM
In my observation now in the flow of ico past from last year, only few ico do that things in terms of returning the capital investment of their

investors. Due to most of the ico nowadays are running away suddenly and never give any updates about their projects. Until most of their

investors got frustrated and disappointed.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoins going to rock in this year ! on: July 17, 2018, 05:10:41 PM
Altcoins can differ from Bitcoin in a range of ways. Some have a different economic model or a different coin-distribution method, like altcoins that were given away to all citizens of a country. Others employ different proof-of-work mining algorithms, perhaps to resist specialized mining hardware — or maybe they don’t even rely on proof of work at all. Several altcoins offer a more versatile programming language to build applications on top of, while yet others offer more privacy compared to Bitcoin. And there are also altcoins that serve very specific, non-monetary use cases, like domain name registry or data storage pointers.

I doubt that altcoins this year will boom. probably by next year I think. Because this year 2018 it the whole season of declined market or red market

in my opinion. But I'm still not sure of it because as we all know the market in trading industry was very unpredictable.
514  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: SECRET OF TRADING on: July 17, 2018, 04:51:01 PM
IMPORTANT INFO FOR NEW TRADERS
All the traders who want to learn and earn from crypto trading i think they should follow some trading methods to make it true. All the beginners please try to learn first . without having enough knowledge about crypto trade you cannot make profits easily. As a trader i suggest to start your trading with reliable coins which already make a reputation on market and has a great value worldwide. Don't jump for new coins before getting enough knowledge about that.

For me there is no secret in trading, because as long as you know the basic knowledge about in doing trade for sure you will never loss a huge amount. But as much as possible buy those coins that has a high volume of bitcoin as long as it is not below 3BTC, this is just according to my observation.
515  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to get rid of emotions when trading on: July 17, 2018, 04:41:26 PM
Emotions is the shadows of our personality, meaning it is already a part of being a human being just simple as that. We cannot take it away, only

things we can do about it is we must know how to control it, so that it may not lead us to our loss when do trading in the platform.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why everyone is afraid to invest im crypto? on: May 30, 2018, 06:43:59 PM
Hey guys, why do you think people are afraid to afraid in crypto? I mean you don’t risk when you invest 100$, it’s not a lot and you can get 1000$ in a few month.

Maybe because most of the altcoin are just pump and dump only in the trading market, then in the ico project campaign majority of it are scam,

or not fulfilling their promises during the campaign period of time because they run away. And some are afraid due to lack of knowledge in

crypto currency and bitcoin.
517  Economy / Economics / Re: Is NOW the best time to buy or enter in bitcoin? on: May 15, 2018, 11:52:59 PM
The moment of bitcoin was getting decrease its value it is a good sign to apply buying of it, then hold or wait until it goes up for you to do sell.

Instead of allowing your fears or panic to control you stay calm and relax while the price value is dumping because honestly it is an opportunity

to buy to each good traders in this industry.
518  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason people do not want to invest in crypto on: May 15, 2018, 11:46:18 PM
Because most of the of the crypto's are scam, And people don't have knowledge about it, and other may says that crypto is just a copy cat of

Bitcoin, and mostly it is too risky to invest in it, That's why it needs a strong research before doing investment.
519  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen when 1 satoshi is $ 1? on: May 15, 2018, 03:46:34 AM
I don't think satoshi's such an increased value. If such a growth happens sure most of us will become rich. The faucets sites will be encountering high traffic and can see people using faucets more than our forum.

Your reason was true and correct, instead of posting in the thread forum no one will attempt to do it instead they would rather to choose do

faucets due to less hassle and effort. One more thing it is not also a realistic things to be happen too, in my my point of view.
520  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Big Banks are so Nervous About Bitcoin ? Why ? on: May 08, 2018, 03:50:34 PM
Because in Banks, they ask a lot of requirements to their clients before putting their money in the bank. While, if people will do savings using

Bitcoin they can do it easily without giving any important documents compare into Banks. so, that's maybe one of the reason why some other

bank are nervous about it due to their client might get decide to full out their savings and transfer it into bitcoin because it is much safer than

any bank in my opinion only.
