5001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there an actual Bitcoin bank yet? on: May 20, 2015, 12:43:25 PM
I would currently only trust coinbase or circle to store bitcoins.

But they do not pay interest.
5002  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: May 20, 2015, 12:42:17 PM
Dont spread FUD. Hashnest is the most honest cloud mining option in the entire crypto economy.

Honest cloud mining services do not allow trade bots to market. Hashnest is not honest cloud mining option.

I bought them a total of 144 x  Antminer S5  [2015-03-17 - 2015-05-14]. Last week I sold everything and left only one.

Now I'm going in honest cloud mining , where  are no tradebots.

At the moment  S5 market not working  for several hours.   Purchase bids are higher than sales bids.

Long live honest tradebots in "honest" Hashnest!

So what is a honest cloud mining without bots? Show me that one.

Also, their service about cloud mining not about buying and selling hash and profiting from that. So couldn't care less.
5003  Economy / Speculation / Re: I cannot believe the price does not move after NYSE news on: May 20, 2015, 09:46:37 AM
Price = supply and demand not news.

That may be true, but I think OP means that "news," did very little to encourage consumers or investors for that matter, to purchase more bitcoins. I'm surprised that the price hardly shifted as well.

This.

Knowing limitation of BTC market, it does not take much to swing the price up. Cause supply s very limited compared to most of traditional commodities. Yet, nothing.
5004  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashnest question on: May 20, 2015, 09:24:02 AM
Thanks a lot, for now i am sticking to bit-x as i managed to go from 2FA of Google Authy to SMS Authy. I wanted to jump to hashnest because with Google 2fa i was having tons of problems, but the support of bit-x is checking them. I am buying bitcoins small quantities but very often and I want to invest in cloudmining. Bit-x and Hashnest seems the most legit so far. Although rewards are very small, you need 6300 GHS to make 0.015 BTC per day with bit-x. 6300 GHS is about 7 or 8 BTC to invest Smiley

Well, it s not easy to make money, not here not anywhere else. Hashnest and Bit-x do seem as the best choice, I also use them.

Also, I would suggest to differentiate into something else, maybe lending or PoS coins. I personally ve invested into DMD Diamond and they run a great cloud mining promotion, for every 0.1 BTC invested, you get 60% back immediately in DMD Diamond coins. So, you reach 60% ROI the moment you invest, a pretty nice offer.

Before, you ask your next question, let me answer it. Yes, these guys are legit and this is a promotional offer which wont last for a long time, this is why it s so generous.

maybe we should wait for a few more weeks until many people get aware about what is bitcoin

This.

I cannot believe this wont have an impact. Maybe we need to wait a bit more.
5006  Economy / Speculation / Re: I cannot believe the price does not move after NYSE news on: May 20, 2015, 06:55:29 AM
Firstly you should have made this thread in the Economics subforum. Someone would have swiftly answered.
This isn't surprising. People try to manipulate the market and accumulate so much more at lower prices. When you factor in everything, it is just a matter of time before it starts going up.
The question is where will it stop and till what point will it bounce back?

This is no different from any other trade-able commodity. People always try to manipulate the market and buy low.
True, it s much easier to move BTC market and keep it suppressed then oil market.

However, it s also much easier to push BTC market up.
5007  Economy / Speculation / I cannot believe the price does not move after NYSE news on: May 20, 2015, 06:46:57 AM
Bitcoin gets a price ticker on New York Stock Exchange and the price does not move?Huh

I really do not understand how is this possible.

I am glad to see BTC is going to become a classic stock market traded commodity, like oil, gold or corn. However, all these commodities are EXTREMELY sensible to good/bad news.
BTC, still nothing.

I know it s still too early to think this way since traders have not invested into BTC to be able to move the price due to these great news but still, not a single $1, price increase, not a single one.
5008  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best place to cloud mine? on: May 20, 2015, 06:13:58 AM
I will have a budget of 220 bucks.Where is the best place to mine and is available. What will be my roi?And a question,Ive heard about an S6 antminer coming up real soon but is there any conformation about that?

Buy BTC and hodl! Or buy some alts like LTC. You can buy some risky coins with potential also like CON or KTK.

Grin And what's left buy some EGG Grin

Holding does no good for the crypto economy. BTC need to circulate in order to increase adoption.
5009  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashnest question on: May 20, 2015, 05:28:55 AM
Simple, you select the miner you want, S4, for example, then go to the "market" tab. There you select the lowest price offered, input the quantity and buy.

Simple.

Let me know if you need more help.
5010  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best place to cloud mine? on: May 20, 2015, 05:26:48 AM
Hashnest, S5. Period.

The other option is to go PoS.

I like DMD Diamond as a great PoS option, 50% annual interest.

5011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there an actual Bitcoin bank yet? on: May 19, 2015, 05:28:52 PM
Well there are couple well reputable exchanges which offer classic interest rate on your deposited BTC.

Regarding lending, there are also several companies which do BTC lending. So, all in all, there s no classic BTC bank but there are several proxies.
5012  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashnest 's newest PACMiC Cloud Mining Contract on: May 19, 2015, 05:26:12 PM
One last thing,is there any better cloud mining service other than this?I decided against investing in PACMiC and the S4 are all sold out so is there any other company that you would recommend?

You can check at Bit-x, but else.. there are no better, because those that are better (like scrypt.cc) are just scams. You can wait for Antminer S6 though, should be out this summer.
Is the S6 better than the S4 since the S4 was better than the S5 and whats the estimated price?

It s going to be better then everything available so far. However, we have no details ATM.

S5 s a newer and more effective miner compared to S4. So it would be appropriate to say S5 is better then S4.
5013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Does The CryptoWorld Needs Now? on: May 19, 2015, 01:10:38 PM
The biggest problem is this negative reputation of crypto world being linked to thieves and scammers.

Any service which would help increase transparency and trust for legit users would definitely help out a lot.

Whatever..., better to buy at hashnest.com anyway and sleep calmly, if BTC is to crash everybody goes to hell no matter what, but at least you know you're mining at manufacturer. All those others just resell the same S5 with a portion for themselves Tongue

True. Unless the manufacturer decides to run. Anyone remembers Amhash?

You're not trying to imply that Bitmain could run? Wink
I mean it can be arrested by government since they are in China or some other legal or force of nature stuff may happen, but I can't imagine a scenario where they would run like those companies involved in Amhash scam. It is the main manufacturer of equipment today, so hardly it would benefit them in the long run. Unless someday they will get outclassed by competition like in AM case and decides to make the most before closing up.

No, I m not trying to imply anything. I ve had nothing but great service from Bitmain so far.

However, this is crypto economy, anything can happen even to the best.
5015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 21 Inc Confirms Plans for Mass Bitcoin Miner Distribution on: May 19, 2015, 09:37:22 AM
Excelent news.

So my toaster ll be mining BTC in the future. This is going to be big time push for the crypto acceptance.

I don't think they will be adding chips into any device without internet access.
So you are probably looking at TV's, Game Consoles, PC hardware, etc.

I d like to have wireless connection to my toaster. So I can tell it when to switch to a different coin.

If they add it to mobile phones, they ll add it to anything with a gpu or cpu, which s basically any electronic device.

I would pass on them, ROI s way bellow average.

S4 are not sold out. Plenty of them on the Hashnest market. If S4 cloud mining is what you want to go with.
5018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: May 19, 2015, 06:41:36 AM
Lots of good suggestions here, but can anyone suggesting to "trade" point us noobs towards a good into guide?  I imagine its very similar to forex trading, but for sure there have to be some differences right?

There is a big difference. Forex trade s dependent on market fundamentals and good/bad news. With crypto, this is not the case.

For example, this 21 news about adding mining capabilities to phone and household appliances s probably the biggest BTC news in the last 30 days, yet, the market has not moved, in fact it has declined a bit.
BTC trading is still run by pumpers and large whales.

I use Cryptsy and Bittrex regularly, no problem at all. Recommended.
