5001  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling Business Paypal Account Full Verification Method (Unique) on: October 07, 2017, 10:48:06 AM
You want to know how to set up a paypal business account for the USA or UK? Well it's simple really, own a business in one of those two countries and go through the proper verification procedure. If you don't, the algorithms that paypal use to spot fraudulent activity will catch you out and any money in the account will be forfeited.
5002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any up and coming ICOs that are worth to invest? on: October 07, 2017, 10:38:14 AM
Hi guys,

any advise on this topic? pretty afraid of scams lol

It is not only scams that you have to be wary about, most of the ICO's out there start off with a genuine idea but through mismanagement, greedy, lack of knowledge or sheer incompetence they end up falling over. You have to think about who will actually find the tokens useful after all the hype has died down and most of the time there are very few long term supporters.
5003  Economy / Economics / Re: The Supply of Bitcoin Is Limited. The Supply of Cryptos Isn't! on: October 07, 2017, 09:58:49 AM
Banks seem to struggle enough with baskets of currencies and stocks, where in theory it should be easier to explain price movements. It wouldn't make much sense to get into such a high risk area as multiple cryptocurrencies that have too many unknown variables. The whole market seems to be in an over-inflated bubble at the moment and when the music stops, the big banks need to be far away.
5004  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scammer in society when it will end? on: October 07, 2017, 09:43:16 AM
Greed and trying to take shortcuts has plagued mankind since the beginning of time. It may never be eradicated, because people are always looking for ways to get ahead of their neighbours. Until everybody in the world is content with their position in life and the future, it'll remain this way. I think there are many societies out there with low corruption and that is the closest you can get at the moment.
5005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's with all these e-[insertanycoin] airdrops? on: October 07, 2017, 09:39:53 AM
It is just the latest fad to come along and just another means for cryptocurrency creators to advertise their scams coins. It encourages people to buy in the early stages, generates later publicity and gives people the idea that they have "earned" a bonus. It's all about generating new business and making as much money as possible with the illusion of added value.
5006  Other / Off-topic / Re: Poker Apps on: October 07, 2017, 09:35:35 AM
Are you only looking for bitcoin accepting poker apps, or any poker app in general? I'm pretty sure you can download a pokerstars phone application and they have the highest amount of players online. They also have a virtual money option, but it is hard to get real practice when there is nothing at stake
5007  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: NEW Bitcoin Double Script Ponzi 2017 on: October 07, 2017, 09:31:58 AM
Script update 03/10/2017

Thanks for sharing your new account, it has been tagged as appropriate. It doesn't matter whether you are running a bitcoin doubler or selling the "script" for one - it is only there to help scammers. Do not trust this user because their morals are obviously quite low.
5008  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bitcoin Doubler - The first Bitcoin Trusted Duplicator in 24h ! on: October 07, 2017, 09:26:46 AM
You are a scammer preying on peoples greed. You will never see your money again if you send it to the owner of this website. It should be clear, since this user is a newbie with no reputation but some people might believe it. If someone could double their money every 24 hours, why would they ever share it with anybody? It makes no sense if you think about it logically.
5009  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IT IS TOO LATE? on: October 07, 2017, 09:20:49 AM
It may not be too late, but it has certainly gotten more expensive to join the party. Nobody really knows the direction that bitcoin will take in future, it could crash down again at any moment or it may take a steady rise up to $10,000 - it is all guesswork. However, if you have got the money available it might be worth investing a small portion of your portfolio.
5010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is bitcoin games legit? on: October 07, 2017, 09:17:23 AM
You need to be more specific with what you are talking about, you are far too vague. There are millions of different websites out there, most of them have different owners and not all of them will be real. If you stumble across a random website offering free bitcoins, chances are it is a scam or they are going to waste your time at the very least. You'd be better off staying away from any games or gambling in the long run, as the odds are probably fixed against you.
5011  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: 7 People arrested for Bitcoin Trading on: October 07, 2017, 09:11:27 AM
It seems like many countries are struggling to keep up with the cryptocurrency trend and the authorities will go for the easy targets like exchange operators when they need to make arrests. It's always tricky in countries like Nepal, because you don't know if it was a genuine interest in protecting to public or the crackdown was generated by greedy and corruption,
5012  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese consolidating not banning (intent to regulate and dominate) on: October 07, 2017, 09:00:04 AM
It seems a strange way of "consolidating" when they have closed down one of the biggest Chinese bitcoin exchanges around. They might not ban it outright, but if they make it hard enough for regular Chinese users to cash in and out, then that might persuade them to not enter the cryptocurrency market at all.
5013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Sentry a scam? on: October 07, 2017, 08:52:51 AM
Sentry aims to compete head to head with both waves and Stratis . Both of which are established and has withered all FUDs and still taking a strong stand. I just don't get what their strategy is .

Why would you spam the same generic marketing message as another member further up in this thread? That is typical shill behavior in a thread and makes the whole situation more suspicious. There are enough red flags described in this thread that should definitely stay away from them. It is very easy to fake the illusion of a competent business to strangers online and it all becomes painfully obvious when the money disappears.
5014  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Webmoney limit question [HELP!!!] on: October 07, 2017, 08:05:12 AM
Hello, everyone.
I do not know what to do now because my partners want to transfer me about $16,500 of dollars in WMZ to my purse and I am kind of new to Webmoney, just registered few days ago. I uploaded my passport and PhotoID with a utility bill. But do not know if this is enough. Also, I would like to get a Mastercard to be able to withdraw my funds. Do not know what steps should I proceed in order to avoid my funds to be frozen or any other issues. The Help center is awful there I did not get any support so far.

Thank you in advance.

You should be really careful using any sort of wallet or digital currency provider. What made you decide on accepting WMZ in the first place? Last I knew, it was a popular service used by fraudsters. If you only signed up to it recently, make sure you understand whether the payment is reversible and in what circumstances that can take place. You're on a bitcoin forum, can you not accept bitcoin instead?
5015  Other / Meta / Re: Is there any way to view deleted thread? on: October 07, 2017, 08:01:52 AM
I believe that archive.org do a fairly deep crawl through bitcointalk.org, but it depends how long the thread was active. If you give an idea of what you are looking for, then maybe someone can help you in detail. There is also bitcointa.lk but I am not sure how their mirroring service works and what it'll catch.
5016  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wanted to create cryptocurrency? on: October 07, 2017, 07:59:25 AM
Why would you want to create another cryptocurrency, other than a vanity project? I'm fairly sure that doing some basic research yourself using search engines will help you greatly. You can always ask technical questions along the way, but it seems like you are jumping in without the slightest idea
5017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Australian Banks Tremble in Fear of BTC & Altcoins -Now to offer Instant EFT on: October 03, 2017, 04:08:03 PM
It's good news and cryptocurrency probably prompted them to speed up a little, however traditional banks will be around for a long time. The UK and probably most of Europe have had this ability for several years now. Many people will never trust bitcoin to the same degree as a bank and while it has survived so far, there may be unforeseen circumstances that wipe out its value.
5018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hey guys, how do I even buy altcoins? on: October 03, 2017, 04:05:01 PM
Bittrex and Poloniex are two popular exchanges that people use to trade altcoins. Make sure you do plenty of research on whatever you're going to invest in, because there are some quite sophisticated scams out there and the exchanges don't protect you against that.
5019  Other / Meta / Re: Check This! Newbie Here! on: October 03, 2017, 02:39:01 PM
It is meant to prevent spamming by new accounts, after a 2 or 3 weeks of activity you will be able to post more frequently. Unfortunately people were abusing the forums for personal gain, so the staff have to put these restrictions in place.
5020  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YoBit NTRN wallet maintance scam, thousand of coins stucked on: October 03, 2017, 12:03:24 PM
Did you try buying a small amount to start with and tried to see whether it worked? Or did you just dump $2,200 straight on there? I have a feeling this is one of those dead coins that has no actual infrastructure enabling it to be traded. There are lots of scam reports around Yobit so a bit of caution and research would have saved a lot of grief. It is unlikely you will get any help from Russian authorities, so you may just have to accept the loss.
