5001  Other / Meta / Re: The Definition of a Low Quality Post on: October 23, 2015, 07:27:55 AM
I would personally think neither of the two posts should be deleted...

I think it should be perfectly fine to give your opinion about a topic, even if it doesn't contribute to the discussion, or solving the problem.

Offcourse, when a user is posting short crap for the sole purpose of promoting his sig all the time, it's a different story...
5002  Economy / Lending / Re: I would like to lend 0.15 BTC to trusted only on: October 23, 2015, 05:50:12 AM
Seems like you are doing this loan for trust, which is frowned in the community. BTW what will the repayment amount be? And FYI "trusted members"'s feedback doesn't show as "trusted" , it only shows as trusted when a Default Trust member.

LOL god no, I'm doing it more for gambling.

The return would have to be at least .25 minimum.

But ty forum cop.  Tongue

That's a pretty high repayment you want there... I don't know if anybody is going to agree with so much intrest...
5003  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Help please on: October 22, 2015, 12:15:10 PM
I think I opened it here landofbitcoin.com

That looks like another faucet...

Listen, i'll try to explain this a little better, leaving out the technical parts, and simplifying (a lot) because to me, it looks like you're lost in the land of bitcoin Wink (other members: i know not everything in this text is 100% correct, but i tryd to simplify it so much it was kinda hard to give all the technical details to)

You can compare bitcoin to a bank account number. The number is written into a database which tells you how much bitcoins are on the account.
In contrast to a bank, there is no central authority. You can make your own account number (bitcoin address). Because managing all your account numbers (and the private keys for these accounts) is a very complex task, a lot of people use "wallets".

These wallets actually generate all the account numbers for you, and keep track which numbers you own, and what the balance on these numbers is... They also manage all the technical stuff that needs to be done when you want to send bitcoins to somebody else.

You used a faucet to "earn" bitcoins... A faucet is basically a place where you enter your account number and do some basic task (like filling in a captcha). In return for this task, they send some coins over to your account... (they get their money by showing you advertising while you are doing the basic task)...

In your case: you showed us an account number, and said that somebody might have taking money from your account without your knowledge... Afterwards you started pointing to the faucet... BUT the faucet is just a spot that sends over bitcoins to your wallet. They have nothing to do with managing your addresses.. They don't have all your keys, so they cannot take your money, they can only send you money... If somebody took your money, it might have been a fault in your wallet, or maybe a virus that was evesdropping on your PC where your wallet was generated...

So, before we can help you, you need to remember which wallet you used to generate your address... We cannot help you if you don't know what you did exactly (i'm afraid)
5004  Economy / Services / Re: simple text help in PHP on: October 22, 2015, 11:35:36 AM
$arr = explode("\n", $str);

Basically, the text contains newline characters. You need to explode (split) the text with the newline character as a separator...
$arr is an array that contains each line...

You can basically print them with
foreach($ass as $key => $value)
{
echo "line number $key is $value<br>";
}
5005  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Help please on: October 22, 2015, 11:34:33 AM
No, the address is FaucetBox

There must be a mistake: Faucetbox is not a wallet... It's a faucet rotator (AFAIK). Correct me if i'm wrong tough...
I remember that the FaucetBox received address

Let me put it this way: IF you wanted to buy something with the bitcoins you claimed from the faucetbox faucet... Which website or program would you open to make the payment?
Sorry I don't understand your question, when you start on this I think it was from FaucetBox that I received that address

I got this from https://faucetbox.com/en/getting-started
Quote
You need to have cryptocurrency address (wallet). You don't have to register on FaucetBOX.com.

It basically spells out what i tought: faucetbox does not offer a wallet... You must have created a wallet somewhere else... If it was a webwallet or an exchange, it might have been compromised... But basically, if you don't know where you created a wallet, it might as well be that you are looking at somebody else's address on blockchain...

Read this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9780038/is-it-possible-to-block-tor-users

The first answer should set you on your way to block all tor users, and avoid this guy comes back  Wink

Thank you for your help, but it is that I have not done the movement of the date 2015-10-19 20:06:28  Sad

Be carefull, it wasn't a 0.01 bitcoin transaction. This was part of a 5 BTC transaction https://blockchain.info/tx/58eeb5e78012860fa41a5ad57fcda4bfd287f1f415e7f2f1873fc05c4248e49b

You didn't send 5 bitcoins to somebody else on the 19th?
No, not I sent that to anyone, not even had for the web

I'm not a real expert, so i might not get to the bottom of this, but one last question: What's your wallet?

Is it something like blockchain, or a wallet on an exchange or something?

Good thing is he couldn't get much from my faucet Cheesy my awareness saved me from that mother fu** bot Cheesy .

every exapo faucet owner be aware from this bot .

I'm always amazed that somebody with enough talent to write a decent bot uses his/her talent in this way... I'm pretty sure they could make a lot more BTC by getting a real programming job, than trying to rip a couple satoshi's from a small faucet...
5012  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Help please on: October 22, 2015, 11:01:47 AM
Can someone explain me this movement?
The date 2015-10-19 20:06:28
https://blockchain.info/es/address/123KDU1b3PNfP7PHDvcXsgGVxHvMdskh2Y

Does it mean that I've paid that?

Is this your address:
123KDU1b3PNfP7PHDvcXsgGVxHvMdskh2Y

In that case: you've had 29 incoming and outgoing transactions... Some of them were indeed outgoing
5013  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: is this a bot user ? on: October 22, 2015, 09:59:10 AM

Okay, this does seem to answer your initial question  Grin
5014  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: is this a bot user ? on: October 22, 2015, 08:34:09 AM
There might be other explanations:

- leaving his browser open
- proxy's/vpn's
- cloudflare
- ...

Hard to say if he is a bot... Is this user causing any harm? Is he claiming more than allowed, is your sponsor not paying you for his visits?
after his vits my a-ads income reduced very low and if he left his browser on then why country is changing ?

Like i said: it's hard to know without seeing all the details... I just offered some alternative explanations for some of the findings you shared.
Maybe you can grep the lines out of your access.log from his visits and post them? Or are you running google analytics, or some other package where you could export some stats?

Offcourse, only do this if it's actually costing you some money....

5016  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk forums are full of scammers, spammers and tricksters on: October 22, 2015, 07:40:40 AM
I don't know what to say then really. Freedom of speech is important, but your right to freedom of speech does not give you the right to harm others. During an election, I can't tear down the signs of the candidate I do not like from the lawns of others. I could be imprisoned under the Elections Act. Lying and scamming is wrong.

I'm not arguing with you... I've been scammed a couple of times, and it's not a nice feeling.
In my personal opinion, scammers could be handled in a different way (for example permabanning). But i think most of the forum members don't care, so nothing is going to change.

The only thing you can currently do is: make sure you always cover yourself in case you do business (never invest in a shady business, never do business without collateral/escrow,...). You can also fight against scammers and spammers by reporting them, giving them -ve and warning others in case you see a suspicious thread...

What is boils down to is: it's not the forum software that lets scammers scam, it's the basic concensus/rules of this forum that allow them to do their business... But since you're always free to leave, i think nothing will be done Smiley
5017  Economy / Economics / Re: Making a living online (recreate) on: October 22, 2015, 07:37:19 AM
Why not code for others? Or create services people like?

If i would live in a country that is not Switzerland i could easily live from one Website i have and the Adsense income on there. The website is simple and needs barely maintaince, but i managed to make something, that already exists in several variations, so simple and that people started to use it.

Sounds simple, but in reality it isn't.
You need a big portfolio and a very good reputation before people actually hire you to do some coding, unless you charge <$5/hour ... The bottom side of the market is full of people from india, china, students making beer money,... The top side of the market is full of big-portfolio, big reputation coders. It's pretty hard to make a living if you live in a country where you need at least $15-$20/hour to make ends meet.
5018  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk forums are full of scammers, spammers and tricksters on: October 22, 2015, 07:31:19 AM
I personally think your analysis of the problem is very real... The forum is full of scammers, and since freedom of speech is valued very high around here, not enough is being done to prevent them from scamming...

Your sollution, like Vod already pointed out, is not that good...
Wordpress is a blog software, and is not very secure (to say the least).
I run several wordpress blogs, and they get abused/hacked several times a year... Even if wordpress was a forum software, i would never recommand it for a forum as big as BCT.
5019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptsy going GOX on: October 22, 2015, 06:49:18 AM
I also think they're going the wrong way...

I have been running an old gridseed miner on multipool, and they automatically transferred dust amounts of altcoins to my cryptsy account... Since a couple of days, all those dust ammounts dissapeared...

I know it's strange, and i don't have any proof (anymore), but i used to have dust amounts of at least 7-8 different altcoins, but when i log in now i only see 2 ALT's with a balance...

I'm actually talking about dust amounts, so i won't even bother opening a scam accusation or a helpdesk ticket, but i'm afraid it's just a sign of things to come  Sad
5020  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: October 22, 2015, 06:00:17 AM
Is there a reason why the signature of full members is larger than the one for senior members? Or am i supposed to add the sig of the senior member next to the sig of the full member once i'm having sr. status?

As far as I know the signature for senior members uses formatting that's not available to full members. In my opinion, it looks a little more polished, so I prefer it.
But if you want to, you can use the full member signature even if you're a senior member.
(if anyone knows better, please correct me)

Onkel Paul

You're right! Smiley

Full member signature looks bigger in size because it is using 3 lines, but infact the font of the senior and hero member is bigger because full members are not allowed to increase the size of their fonts, the senior and hero member signatures can use tables, although this campaign isn't using it but only hero member signature can have 'glow' which as you can see the hero member signature has with blue and orange background.

And therefore, the senior and hero member signatures catch more attention and which is why you should wear one according to your rank.

Thanks for the info guys... It makes a lot more sense now  Smiley
