I was most annoyed by the Hoffenheim vs Schalke match. Schalke played very well at the beginning and took a quick 0-2 lead, but after that they played the same poor performance as they have all season. This team has amateur level, nothing more. The match then ended 4-2 for Hoffenheim. This is not only embarrassing but also distortion of competition in my view.
I was annoyed too seeing Schalke "winning" in the first half and I was relieved finding out that Hoffenheim came back and won 4-2. For Bayern, Lewandowski trying to beat a record, he scored 2 goals and Bayern is leading 4-0 M'Gladbach in the first half. |

Madrid fans are expecting to see a player that is getting a fortune to add something to the team and to be loyal to them. I don't back their extreme reactions but this happens everywhere. Do not forget that Barca fans threw a pig head on Figo...etc Whether Hazard was the best player or not, the fact that he added absolutely nothing to Real Madrid is undeniable. Bale at least was a good and a key player at some point, he was in conflict with Zidane, preferring golf to football, laughing when his team receive a goal... so it is normal to see RM fans criticising him. For Hazard, absolutely no one wants to see his an employee getting a huge salary without working and being productive. Anyway, I prefer to see him leaving RM and find another team to get back his form, maybe. I wanted it to be a non-English finale, but unfortunately it didn't work out... Now I have almost no doubt that Man City will be the champion! By the way, in the Europa League the winner is likely to be Man U... So in the match for the Super Cup also will play only English clubs...

Sorry about that, Spurs. But this is almost precisely why I stayed away from this game bettingwise. Of course would ordinarily back Leeds but Spurs are so far down bookie lines now that the odds weren't even attractive enough ha!
Spurs are a big scam when you think of depending on them in anyway! You might look at them and see an elite team but in the real sense, they are very much a mid tier team now. lol at "big scam", you aren't totally wrong BTW Spurs were at some point a very efficient team but they couldn't resist for a long time. Leeds is a good team also and it surprised many stronger teams. I consider Leeds as the best team that was promoted from the 2nd to the first league in all national leagues. |

Bayern Munich will probably celebrate another Bundesliga championship in a few hours. The only mystery remains whether Robert Lewandowski will manage to break Gerd Mueller's record. He needs 5 goals in the remaining 3 matches.
The meeting in Dortmund, where Borussia will host RB Leipzig, promises to be very interesting. The hosts must score points if they want to play in the Champions League next season.
Bayern might celebrate it before their game since Leipzig is 1 goal behind Dortmund. It is just the first half but I expected to see Leipzig winning this and Dortmund stressing for a CL spot. A part from Schalke, the relegation battle is intense.
Schalke is no longer fighting for survival, he simply has no chance of it. As for Bayern, they must beat Borussia Mengladbach, although this is not the most convenient opponent for Bayern. I think Bayern can already be called a champion, Leipzig could lose points this weekend. Schalke has 0 chance actually since the pause of the previous season. They won twice in like 40 games or so? I doubt they could get back to 1.Bundesliga soon with a team like that. Damn i havnt expected that result from Hertha Berlin against Freiburg with 3 scored Goals.
Really thought that it will be a easy win for Freiburg today.

Mourinho reputation can be low but he loves when the team and the city is on his side. Like what happened in Milan when he won everything with Inter you'll see he's going to become again a one man show and bring Roma to new heights.
He did well with Spurs at some point this season making them the first but after reaching that point, the team was failing hard. I don't think he should take all the blame BTW. Mourinho will not make Roma the best team the next season with the actual squad imo, he needs some fresh and good players. Juve - Milan this Sunday and the battle for CL spot is getting intense with Lazio and Napoli getting closer. A draw will complicate things for both of them imo. |

Yeah, I guess Arsenal disappointed a lot of people last night. Even Villareal probably did, scoreless semifinals are not the most exciting thing in football.
That includes me. I hope the arsenal can win at home. They seemed unlucky, two kicks always hit the goalpost. It was painful to prove by Unai Emery that he was a former arsenal coach. Arsenal took it wrong. Unfortunately with this failure they will not compete in Europe next season. The English EL spot will not be easy to predict until the last round and for sure Arsenal will not be part of it. I am disappointed from both teams performance and the scoreless result too. I don't find them ready or strong enough to fight ManU, hope Villarreal will not be crushed in the final game. |

I am disappointed with the result of Madrid. Madrid should score at least one goal. In the second half, they didn't shoot once in the Chelsea goalpost.
Lastly, It's so pathetic to see Hazard laughing after the match.
He apologised for his tasteless and irresponsible act after a game where his team kicked from the most important league and in which he had done nothing, absolutely nothing. Useless player for Real Madrid, dunno why some people still counts on him, blaming his infinite injuries. Overall, top English teams level are better. In the Europeans leagues, there is 3 English teams from 4, and the 4th one is Villarreal which will lose most likely against ManU in the final, like that both trophies will go back to England |

Yep, the 5-0 result survived the unrealistic results that could be achieved by AS Roma. We can see it today, provisional results, ROMA 2 - 2 MU. There is no hope for ROMA, on 73" aggregate 4 - 8 for MU, it can be said that MU has already qualified for the final round. Therefore, from yesterday I said that I am sure 90% MU is already in the final.
Roma scored another goal. Roma 3 - 2 ManU (Agg 5 - 8 ). It is nice to see them fighting as hard as they could to score although the big difference. Respect! Arsenal vs Villareal is still 0-0, there is still a chance to qualify for Arsenal, they only need 1 goal. One goal made by Werner, damn!! Real Madrid is leading the stats but no score till now. While Chelsea just made 2 shots on target but can convert it to be 1 goal. One goal next will be very crucial both for Real Madrid or Chelsea. If Real Madrid can make 1 goal next, they will have a chance to win in the second half. But if Chelsea can make 1 goal again, Real Madrid will be hard to qualify on the final stage. Come on Madrid!!  Stats don't give a clear view of the game sometimes. Real Madrid controlling the ball but made 1 clear threat with Benzema headers. Chelsea playing counterattack and scored 2 goals, 1 of it was cancelled due to clear offside luckily for Real Madrid or else it will be very hard for them to recover. Real Madrid or (less likely) Chelsea has to show an impressive performance and wins big so players get some confidence or else they will be crushed by City imo I always say... never bet against the statistics. But in this game, I will bet against City, whoever the opponent is, and I will laugh a lot if by a stroke of luck I win this bet. Yeah... this is crazy, I also believe that City will not "finally lose", but what do I get if bet as most peoples? Almost nothing, probably. A lot can be decided this weekend. Bayern can become German champions ahead of time. If Leipzig doesn't lose, they will definitely play in the CL. And in the relegation battle, at least no one can be relegated directly.
Bayern - M'Gladbach, a hard game but I think the first position will be confirmed for Bayern this weekend, since leipzig might drop points too vs Dortmund. Leipzig playing in CL next season is almost confirmed 99.99%. A part from Schalke, the relegation battle is intense. I am particularly worried about Bremen, their remaining games aren't easy. For Koln, Hertha and Bielefeld, they will play vs each other so they might make their situation worse. Again determining the relegated teams is harder in Bundesliga than knowing the winner |

Of what use is having a big player like Neymar Jnr if he isn't making the team win games?
To be fair, he literally messed up the game tonight. You can't be loosing a game and still be dribbling without any success, wasting time in the process. Through the whole game, PSG had no shot on target, very embarrassing for an elite team. The best thing that would have happened to PSG in this game would have been a Kylan Mbappe but, I'm just getting to discover that he wasn't fit for the game.
Just like that, Manchester City has gone for the UCL finals for the first time and its under the management of Pep Guardiola. He's been an awesome coach this season.
Neymar didn't show what PSG fans wanted from him, playing without full potential in both legs BTW. Mbappe absence in this game made things harder for PSG and after each City goal, things became harder and harder. The red card was the last stub taken by PSG. The previous champion was kicked by PSG which was kicked by City which seems to be the next winner this season hopefully We will see tomorrow which team will join City in the final game. I slightly think that Real Madrid will win! |

The match between Sevilla and Athletic Bilbao is going to be really tough. Sevilla is occupying the 4 position and also battling for more point to overthrow Barcelona. FT Sevilla vs Bilbao 0-1But Sevilla remain safe in their current position without disturbing Barcelona. Sevilla losing vs Bilbao was unexpected.. Such defeat will make them far from competing for the title but they still hold a spot for CL and can literally kick Real Madrid from this race too if they win against them in the next match.
