5001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to protect your crypto against a natural disaster? on: January 06, 2020, 09:07:52 AM
I think for very common solutions, you just have to write it down almost for every paper that you can easily bring with. The paper that Ledger provides for our seeds is just small and can easily be in our wallets to be brought everywhere.

I think it's a very good question and until now, I don't have a solution or other means of that for this kind of event.

For now, i only save my data at google drive.
I'll avoid this at any cost. I will not save it to any storage online.
5002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: COCOS WILL BE RICH? on: January 06, 2020, 08:21:58 AM
I thought Binance is strict in listing altcoins on their exchange? I'm not aware of the listing of this coin on their exchange and it's true, it's there as for checking the list of the markets it has.

5003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin you love to see die soon and why? on: January 06, 2020, 06:53:50 AM
Right now I would recommend BSV and DOGE. I really hate these coins. Bitcoin SV because it is a scam coin created by the ultimate crypto-fraudster (Craig Wright) and DOGE because it is a parody coin which refuses to die down. I was holding some BTC in my wallets, so received BSV from the airdrop. But within minutes, I dumped that coin and converted it to BTC.
Why hate dogecoin? I wouldn't argue with the other coin but why is it that you don't like dogecoin? It's a known meme coin and despite of being like that, look how far it is right now. One of the most old altcoins that seem to be a joke but became useful during the times of need.

It's one popular coin that's being used as what it used to be as alternative crypto when bitcoin transfers are too expensive.
5004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death of ICOs on: January 04, 2020, 09:54:57 PM
The concern for these projects is likely being thought that most of them are scam projects. That is the reason very few investors are looking towards it. And if a project succeeds in its sale, the next struggle is coming and that is when it will be listed.

The complain of investors and hunters at the same is what making them rush to list it as soon as possible. And the result, they are putting it to unknown exchange so just to say that they have complied to the demand of those complainants.
5005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if a bitcoin trading is worth trusting? on: January 04, 2020, 09:34:12 PM
Welcome here.

You should already be curious how they could that. There's no such guarantee in trading, it's more of lose than winning especially if you're not the one who trades it. How can you come up with something like that. Don't believe them.

Start trading on your own and don't let strangers from a telegram group manipulate your mind that it's actually happening. Gain experience through your own trades but expect losses on your way but it's a valuable lesson to learn rather than believing with those false promises and wants 15% of fee from you.
5006  Economy / Speculation / Re: When is the perfect time to sell BTC? on: January 04, 2020, 08:55:31 PM
Everyone doesn't want to sell at the price that we're not satisfied.

Setting yourself with that perfect price and that perfect timing must be depending on your own thought. But it seems that everyone is waiting until the end of the year up to 2021 for that perfect price which will be triggered after the halving and we'll see it if it will happen.
We the small volume bitcoin holders were the one waiting for much larger time period to sell at an increased price. Right now halving is much focused and every decision related to bitcoin is now being taken relative to it. To reach target takes time, and sometimes out of luck it'll be reached in a short. Good is to follow the large volume holders practice of selling at small difference from the buying and once again buy back low.
You can follow them as you want but you should also have your game plan and don't depend to them most of the time. If it's just for selling, it can be done at anytime as you wish but the timing and profitability depends on you.
5007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at Gas Stations on: January 04, 2020, 08:19:48 PM
I think I've seen a gas station that accepts crypto but it's offshore that was posted here before and I can barely remember where that could be.
So, you saw it in real life? Not from reading an article/news? Once you found it, just post the picture or the link source if you got it from an article. I am curious to know it since it never happened in my country.
It's from an article, my apologies if I haven't included that and used the term 'seen' instead of 'read'. I can't remember if this was the article that I've seen before.

The First Gas Station to Accept Crypto

There's also an old news regarding this.

You Can Now Pump Gas for Bitcoin in the Rocky Mountains
5008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any new projects that will go live soon & will have bounty? on: January 04, 2020, 07:48:15 PM
I want to know about some best projects that are gonna launch soon & they will run the bounty pogram too. If you can suggest me about some good projects then it will be helpful for me.
Thanks
If there's a way to do that, there will be a lot of bounty hunters that will be happy to find it out. This is like, someone points out a good campaign and everybody will join that bounty campaign as long as it's accepting participant.

But it's not.

There's no bounty like that. You need to determine if it's a good bounty or not, they may be good at the beginning because it's suggested by most but in the long run you will see them if they really are good.
5009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters answers needed on: January 03, 2020, 10:49:02 PM
What would you do if you've been promoting a project for over a month and the bounty manager refused to update spreadsheet? After getting in touch with admin on telegram channel they keep saying no update from team yet, what will be the best decision if you are in my shoe?
You better leave if that's the case.

Bounty managers should be responsible in terms of updating your spreadsheets to track your progress weekly or monthly. If they are acting like that, do you think that it's sustainable for you to stay if that's the problem? if you are patient to wait for the random update, it's for you to decide.

But if you think that you deserve something better, leave.
5010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at Gas Stations on: January 03, 2020, 10:27:45 PM
I think I've seen a gas station that accepts crypto but it's offshore that was posted here before and I can barely remember where that could be.

Isn't it dangerous if the transaction signal queue can trigger the gas to overflow and become a fire?
That's why there are signs that no usage of phone while refueling. Good point. I think the adoption worldwide, there's no need to create a certain coin for this, we've got third party services that allow these merchants and businesses to convert bitcoin automatically to USD if they want to. And that's what they'll charge to their customers.
5011  Economy / Speculation / Re: When is the perfect time to sell BTC? on: January 03, 2020, 10:02:03 PM
You can't look for perfection. A lot of people never take profits because they're busy waiting for that perfect moment. Including myself.

5012  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC TO 5K$ soon on: January 02, 2020, 11:35:51 PM
Possibly or possibly not.

Yes, we really don't know what the future brings, so maybe, maybe not. No one has the crystal ball here.

We have seen support broken at certain levels though, so there's no surprise here. We have been trading sideways @$7-$7.5k, so probably just a break out below that, but I'm sure we will bounce back. I haven't check the news that cause this dump, so let's see if we are heading to $5k or will it head back to $7k.
Expect it that the news will cover again this small dip that we've got.

The price that went down a bit from $7,000 to $6,900 is already a cover to them but it's also them again that will find a reason to attach this motion that we have lately. And another opportunity for those who are saying that they are waiting for bitcoin to go under the price of $7,000. These swings became normal to us so yeah, no longer a surprise.
5013  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC TO 5K$ soon on: January 02, 2020, 11:07:33 PM
Possibly or possibly not.

This is crypto and every price indication is possible and every support won't stay for long. We can see a dump soon or pump at any time.
5014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why you need to store your money in your hands! on: January 02, 2020, 10:40:42 PM
This is really alarming if you're a fan and user of a known exchange and knowing that they are acting like this, you just have to protect yourself and be aware of the potential freezing of your account and funds. They might suspect anyone to have a dirty transaction even without further investigation but if your transactions are clean and you're not involved with any illegal activity, you don't have to worry.

The act of freezing funds from the suspects is a cooperation of Binance to the affected ones so if your account got freeze and you're clean, prove it to them.
5015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real Trading Brokers on: January 02, 2020, 10:15:35 PM
Iqoption and expert options these are the usual advertisements that I always see on YouTube videos. But I have never used any of them because I don't really want to try it as it's not suit my own style.

There's also one that's also popping when I watch videos there, etoro. Take time to research about that platform. I'm not vouching for them so as I've said, you need to look at it and see if that's the platform you're looking for.
5016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020 - The Year Of Decentralization. Thoughts? on: January 02, 2020, 09:54:43 PM
I'm thinking of the opposite, hacks are always there even the early days of bitcoin. And that opposite is the year of  more centralization. It's speculated that institutional money is coming in and the idea of CBDC is already rolling so that's why I'm thinking about the other side.

We've seen exchanges adding "staking support", making everyone not knowing the dangers of centralized exchanges victims of future exchange hacks.
I think every staker is aware of that risk and they have thought about it but it's also understandable that some investors are confident because it was Binance and Coinbase that offers it.
5017  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I start earning BTC? on: January 02, 2020, 09:31:10 PM
My advice is to find a real job and invest your earnings in Bitcoin, you'll earn much more coins this way than chasing coins directly. And I'm not talking about real-life job, you can also work on the Internet if your jobs don't pay much in your country.
This is a very good suggestion.

When I was starting to look for investments, one financial educator said that it's not that hard to invest as long as you already have the money. But if you still don't have, you have to look for a source, you need a job to do what you want and invest to investments that you want. Save and invest a part of your salary to bitcoin.
maybe it mean like you join in the bounties and the reward from bounty convert to bitcoin as an investment. i think its good idea, its my way to i am get my bitcoin and my invesment. but do not try earn money from offline job then you use to invest in bitcoin because when your investment like bitcoin or another coins decrease price you will get down in your life.
Real job means, real world jobs. The traditional jobs that we're getting from applying in offices.

It's good if you're getting profit from bounties but it's no longer that profitable anymore. It's simply your luck when you have joined a bounty and they've paid you with nice payment or if the token you have received is tradeable. But if it's not, you just wasted your time and effort.

5019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is your new year Resolution? on: January 01, 2020, 12:38:13 AM
Happy New Year in Advance!

In my view, This year was average for the crypto market, and at the same time, it was great if we consider 2018, the year of the longest bear run. This year, the Bitcoin price went nearly 14K USD! Sometimes we did a mistake by selling a good coin, sometimes we mistook by holding a shit coin! Many people get scammed, wallet hack!

So, now 2019 is ended, what is your new year resolution guys? What changes everyone should follow in 2020?

Leave your opinions!
This is also my take for 2019 and 2018. 2019 was a greater year and we can't deny that fact because looking at the comparison of both years, this is an obvious win for 2019 which will be agreed by most of us. I don't usually make new years resolution and just pursuing the things that I'm focusing on.

The changes that everyone should follow is to become the wiser guy this year. Not everything that's being launched as a new "blockchain" company is a good place to invest with your money. Become more responsible and resourceful enough if you find a project that's catching your interest.

thats a good resolution but the fact is its very impossible to happen. You cant eliminate scammers in this world,  as long as there is poverty , the main reason why so people attempt to scam other to have a good life.
Additionally, greed is the reason why there are people that's still biting these scammers. And as long as there are people that will not learn from the others experience, they won't be stopped. Raising the awareness to the newbies is a good activity to prevent them get a victim.
5020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Central bank coins vs crypto space coins on: December 31, 2019, 09:08:00 AM
4. It will be used by the central banks so regulation will be of no question. Regulation will occur not just for this kind of coins but it will be for the whole crypto regulated by that country. Remember that regulation depends on the country you're living.

If there's no regulation, then it will be the centralized coins made by the government which will be regulated and the rest will follow.
