Observing another day BTC= growing stronger

Observed myself in a day of poker today, all went well  Cheesy

Don't forget this dude also said this:

In reality, nobody knows anything. I can see it perfectly that the hype is building up lately but nobody exactly knows what the next top price is going to be or when. It is very possible that we'll enter another bear after reaching $80k.

Good point, I do like pomp, but those Alt predictions.... not good for a true coiners believe

5024  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin Cross $20,000 By the end of 2020? on: February 20, 2020, 09:54:20 AM
There is a technical signal: the golden cross, the 50-day moving average rose above the 200-day moving average. This could translate into a nice price hike...
The last time it happened was in April last year and what happened in April? Bitcoin went from ~$5k to ~$12k in a 2-3 months period.
Imagine Bitcoin @$30k on May ^^

Indeed imagine that....

Though I think there are to many n00bs creating threads with a dumb and always similar question "Can BTC hit or break or... X-price mostly a higher ones" Then they probably watch some responses hoping for the bullish ones among us and based there quick rich buying upon those  Roll Eyes

Every other day the same thread, can BTC do that in this period of time ??

No one knows and please buy cause you know its good and world changing material, buy because you learned something about it and why its convenient etc Not because you only think its gonna increase % in a short period of time....

Wow I didn't realise you make them RL as well
5026  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 20, 2020, 09:18:34 AM

I'd be a millionaire by now if I didn't keep spending 0.1BTC here, 0.05BTC there on takeaways and stuff over the years.
I like to think I helped the cause.
Though in reality, it probably ended up in the hands of whales :/

[...]

Basically, the situation I'm in is if I didn't have BTC to supplement my income I'd have a very sad life; never eating out, no holidays, no 'nice' things every-so-often.
I'm VERY lucky to have BTC. Very.

Funny, those are the first things I would skip to not have to spend my bitcoins.

Meh, I do understand P_shep, if some things can bring joy in your life then you gotta do some of those things.....

Going to bed, hopefully I don’t wake up to sub $9,000 or something equally disgusting.

Similar situation, similar thinking, hoping for similar wished outcome

5034  Other / Meta / Re: Gangs of BitcoinTalk :) on: February 19, 2020, 03:47:22 PM
I updated the Mods Gang, the SpamBusters gang and also the WO gang, with its smaller gangs. Still need though some reference about the Slack gang from Last of the V8s or from anyone else.

Working now on another bunch of gangs here Smiley I have to deeply analyze them.

VB1001 has a nice list of all WO-hat members .... also to find on  wohats.com <—- made by VB1001

Damn this thread is flawed and wrong in all ways.....

Nr 1.... would always be the WO-regs gang or HAT-gang  Kiss

It stings my eyes to see that the merit fox thing is considered to come close to the HATs  Kiss

As he says Nr 1

Glad to see that I’m not mentioned in any gang related thing, cause indeed there is only one true gang on BTCT the one with the largest history Cheesy

You are a WO gang best gang member. Just because they don't acknowledge us yet doesn't mean we don't exist.

I move to make the distinction between the WO Gang and the Hat Gang, the latter being a subset of the former, in that you actually have to be wearing a Homer Hat in order to be a member of the Hat Gang (as well as post regularly in the WO thread).

Here is the first reference to Hat Gang that I can find:

^ lfc ?fell off list?

In a sig campaign - can’t wear one atm. 0.01BTC a week, I know it’s not a lot but money is money!
It ends in 3 weeks & no guarantee it’ll be extended so if it’s not I will be in the HAT gang!

Really that's the same reason why I'm not currently a member. Though I do prefer Clown Car because we have much clearer goals and initiatives.

Most clear goal for HAT-WO stuff probably is to be a true BITCOINER .... if the goal isn’t being one of those then yeah maybe clown, merit cycling or ......is a good alternative to spend time at, though I see the WO as a nice group of people Cheesy

I do believe it’s the gang of best known true BItcoiners and HODLers, not merit and other stuff
But BTC, still the thing that matters the most

Then the collectors gang...? I might appear in there as well for a bit, also a very nice gang of true Bitcoiners and art imo

5039  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 18, 2020, 08:11:02 PM
No mercy for shorters. I love to take the money of those stupid people that sell bitcoins.

5040  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 18, 2020, 01:43:24 PM
my theory is this: until halving in May 2020 volume on marketplaces will decline because miners and others will hold back their BTC and plan to sell it after halving. they are speculating the price will increase after halving.

so low volume is not good for markets because then markets are easier to manipulate by big fishes.

any thoughts on this?

Yes but what whale in his right mind will sell big q-ties before the halving? You need to be an epic retard to do it. The price will also inevitably go down AFTER the halving so why someone would just swim against the tide additionally risking being rekt?  Cool

Why inevitably to go down after the halving, please do explain  Roll Eyes
