El comportamiento de los mercados es muy poquito física/matemáticas y un mucho de psicología, que es una ciencia mucho menos exacta que las otras dos. Respecto de lo que dices de las medias móviles, no son más que indicadores, no son leyes. Por ejemplo el precio lleva ya un ratejo dando divergencias con el RSI y según eso debería pegarse un piñazo interesante a la voz de ya, pero lo cierto es que no tiene por qué. Se puede quedar plano 2 meses y el RSI se relaja él solito. |

Thats cool. I like it, except that the ()[1] is somewhat obfuscated. Someone reading the code needs to open the bigint documentation to understand the behavior. It's a tradeoff between succinctness and readability. Both views can be defended  It's not bigint-related, just standard syntax to access the second element in a list. Another example: $ date; perl -le 'print join " ", (localtime)[2,1,0]'

The fact of the matter is that $bigint already holds the base10 representation, so there's no point going through the while loop.

Why @b10 and %b10? $b10[n] == $b10{n} == n so they are useless (they make sense for other radices but not for <= 10). Also, the pack/unpack is redundant, and the result must be reversed: use bigint;

Estos día estuve hablando con algunos amigos que tengo que son de la teoría que "Si surge algo nuevo, seré el ultimo en probarlo, así que si algo sale mal, el problema sera para los que lo prueben primero", y les plantee el bitcoin de "otra" manera, por cierto es la manera q a mi no me gusta plantearla a os nuevos en Bitcoin, les dije(eran 2) que lo mirasen como investimiento, les enseñe a mtgox, el precio del bitcoin hace 6 meses y su precio actual, eso sí parece haber echo que miré al Bitcoin con otros ojos.
Entonces añade: "pero nada hombre, no te preocupes, tú entra de último que ya te vendo yo las milibitcoins a 20 pavos, vale? ". |

Just send them a donation via the email function on blockchain or coinbase or coinapult even.. Then it's up to them to claim it, or let it expire and be returned to them. I really wonder if they'll let money they received just slip back away from them.   If several people joined to make a sizable donation, it would certainly be more difficult for them to reject it . I wonder how much money we've already donated through Bitpay… |

- Installed 0.7.2 on a WinXP box (vmware virtual machine).
- Downloaded some blocks, up to 135k or so.
- Cleanly shut down bitcoin.
- Installed 0.8.0rc1.
- Bitcoin sucessfully reindexed the existing blocks, then started to download from that point.
- Suspended the virtual machine.
- Downloaded some more blocks from home, then suspended the VM again.
- (related?) Installed Ares p2p software. Version 2.2.4 FWIW. (this was yesterday at home)
- Today at work, downloaded more blocks.
- While clicking around on Ares, I got a couple of dialog boxes about Visual C++ runtime <something> and mentioning bitcoin. However, I was able to click on the bitcoin window and bring it to top, giving it focus. I wasn't able to do that with Ares though (when I tried, one of the dialog boxes' title flashed, indicating me that I had to pay attention to it before using Ares again). So I happily disregarded the dialogs, only to see the bitcoin window disappear and the Ares one become unresponsive.

Yo discrepo en este punto. Considero que el que te fijes solamente en el número de bitcoins intercambiados te conduce a equívoco. Pienso que para valorar el volumen de una forma más realista lo debes hacer en divisas (dólares o euros, independientemente de lo que nos gustaría aún son las monedas de referencia) puesto que no es lo mismo que se intercambien 1000 BTC a 7 $ que 1000 BTC a 24 $.
Yo estoy un tanto dividido respecto a esto. Es cierto que viendo el volumen en dólares queda claro que está entrando pasta a saco; sin embargo en los mercados de acciones y derivados, que yo sepa, el volumen se mide en títulos. Pero claro esto no es un mercado de acciones sino de divisas, y aquí tengo experiencia cero. Así que no sé muy bien si interpretar que esta subida está teniendo volumen alto (mirando una de las divisas) o más bien a la baja (mirando la otra). |

Quería decir que, en el peor caso, prefiero usar el addrgen.py frente a brainwallet.org.
El código del addrgen.py es fijo (además es código fuente directamente interpretado por python, no es ni siquiera un ejecutable) y revisable por cualquiera. Brainwallet puede enviarte en cualquier momento un código que no haya revisado nadie.
brainwallet es código fuente interpretado por un motor de javascript, tampoco es un ejecutable. Y si te lo guardas en tu ordenador, el código también es fijo. No tienes muchas más probabilidades de problemas con una opción que con otra. Lo que tiene addrgen es que es bastante simple (180 líneas), porque simplemente va a lo que va y punto. Brainwallet (y bitaddress, dicho sea de paso) tienen más chicha porque te permiten hacer más cosas. |

Yo soy de los nada cagados. Pienso que no le queda mucho recorrido al alza, (o sea, que puede corregir en breve) pero tampoco es una cuestión de "cague" (al menos mientras no vuelva a la zona de los $7, donde hay un nivel significativo).

Strange, via command-line I always used -onlynet="IPv6". Perhaps I didn't need the quotes, but at least it was working . The quotes are part of the shell syntax and are removed by it, so bitcoin doesn't see them. |

Ojito con el historial de la shell, que guarda todos los comandos en claro, incluyendo: $ echo "clave privada" | shasum y $ bitcoind walletpassphrase "clave del wallet" Para ejecutar cosas como esas de forma segura (usando bash): - abrir una terminal nueva - teclear 'unset HISTFILE' - ejecutar el comando que sea - cerrar la terminal lo antes posible Si ya habéis ejecutado algo sin tomar esta precaución del 'unset HISTFILE', debéis editar el .bash_history y borrar a mano los comandos que contengan contraseñas (pero eso no necesariamente hace que tales comandos desaparezcan del disco a bajo nivel). |
