5021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The Essential NFL Thread 🏈🏈 - new poll every week on: October 12, 2019, 06:52:40 PM
I feel bad about blowing the Pats call about not covering the spread... It certainly seemed like everything was good to go until that last quarter when everything went south in a hurry. Like you guys said, let's see how the line reacts to them playing a good team... which by the looks of it won't be until Week 9 (Ravens) or Week 11 (Eagles).

So far we have 5 votes for Saints and 2 for Jags... the biggest discrepancy we've had in a poll thus far. Line is now at -2.5 Jags, so that will be quite the V for our Collective Wisdom if the Saints can pull it off. I honestly can't say why the line favors the Jags.

That is surprising, minshew has looked good but bridgewater has really stepped up.

according to BOLLINGER bands, xmr should travel north against btc soon.
https://cryptowat.ch/markets/kraken/xmr/btc/2h

They are very tight, but that just means they are primed for a big move, not which direction as far as I know.

Hope you're right.

If I was a whale I would be looking at this market as a good P&D candidate.

I wish I had some extra scratch to throw in but my ammo's dried up.

And I never sell anyway, once bitten twice shy. Smiley
5023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news form North Korea on: October 12, 2019, 05:34:14 PM
This is good news for North Korea citizen as cryptocurrencies are changing lives and especially the poor countries like North Korea. North Korea's govt decision will make Korean people happy and healthy in the near future.

If there is no food available to buy it doesn't matter if you can afford to pay.

5025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The Essential NFL Thread 🏈🏈 - new poll every week on: October 12, 2019, 04:58:42 PM
Dam that was looking decent but a defensive touchdown and a punt block for a touchdown was the downfall.  The giants hung in there but some critical turnovers changed the game.  I hope you at least got the over in.  Barkley and sheperd should be coming back next week so hopefully giants can hang in there

It's a pretty fucked up year when you dread playing a team that has NE's D.
Lol quite the aberration. Smiley

It felt more like Brady keeping them in the game early with his bad passes/plays than the Giants making any stops. He had a pretty subpar game despite the 2 rushing TD and the 300+ passing yards. I honestly can't wait to see them face a decent team, their schedule so far is beyond ridiculous and they play the Jets next week. Haha

Truer words were never spoken! That is the only reason I drafted Brady and I'm a NE fan! Wish I had grabbed their D like in past years but i wasn't going to allow myself to get screwed again (believing the hype again) by making that mistake. I feel soo smart now! Cheesy

I agree, the statistics of Brady are fine but when you see the game you can see there is something off, even if we consider there are many injures in the Patriots offence and that Brady himself is injured he has not looked like himself during the whole season, so despite his claims that he wants to play until he is 45 I really think this one or the next one will be his final season, however I really think their defence is the real deal since they are forcing turnovers all the time and that is critical to win football games.

He's no longer Mobile in the pocket and its apparent he has a healthy fear Of Big Ends getting their hands on him so he gets rid of the ball too soon alot now.

Edit: added jpgs and moved to bottom for readability

Shit. I got drunk and Rage Dropped Dak half way through the game last week! Cheesy

W00ps

I still have Brady.

Lol in your defense that was one pathetic first half.  That second half though was pretty amazing.  I'm not sold on dak being a top quarterback, makes too many questionable moves and just cant make all the throws.  I hope cowboys sign him to a 10 year contract and he ends up being mediocre for 10 years  Cheesy

I have also been steaming D's and had GBs D and they gave me neg numbers when I faced NEs D that put up 20+ points that cost me the week and they were beating up on Dak after I dropped them to the wire. I was just Lucky I went with the safe points and had Brady in. I think Prescott is going to give alot of people Heart attacks this year. Cheesy

They don't cause centralization.
Really? So you think that one person/group controlling 1000s of mining machines where they can achieve more than half the hash rate isn't centralization?

nope.

Haha, i like this one. Smiley

ETF decision (drum roll) REJECT rule change     Cry   https://www.sec.gov/rules/sro/nysearca.htm

So, basically, 95% of the Bitcoin market is fake volume and/or unregulated and therefore it is not possible to monitor the market for manipulation. Also, that 95% can't be separated from the real 5% in a reliable way that prevents the fake/unregulated/manipulated exchanges from affecting the price of the real exchanges and therefore, the ETF is denied.

Based on that, i don't see how it will ever be approved.

As soon as Goldmann Ballsacks decides to file for ETF it will be approved.

Here is a Guide for Mining XMR wish I still had my old CPUs  Undecided

How to Mine Monero?

Mining Monero can be a lucrative undertaking due to its cryptographic algorithm which is immune to ASIC’s mining. This indicates that anyone with a CPU or GPU can mine Monero. This guide will tell you what software programs you require, and how to mine Monero.

By the way, might be just a random thing, but Monero mentioned first among cryptocoins on fasttech.com
Thinking about ordering something there. Actually already made an order about a year ago, but afair was using xmr.to.
Wanna use direct Monero payment this time.

Just checked it out, I'll try to make a purchase when I need something they carry.

now we shall see if the network stays Asic free or not.
"Asics, asics, asics, asics...."
And what about botnets on CPU mined coins?

Who cares about botnets?

They don't cause centralization.

I feel like we are back in winter during the fall. Smiley

The night is darkest right before the dawn.  Price did not decrease much if at all, but the 2017 is now so far away that is not that memory about it is fading. So people are losing hope. People like more the bear markets with hope then the sideways without hope.

You said it, I have no clue why there is not more interest in freedom.

People confound me.

5034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news form North Korea on: October 07, 2019, 02:31:35 AM
I think North Korea's main expertise in crypto currency firmly land in the realm of running botnets, hacking exchanges, creating phishing sites and backdoored wallets.
5035  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hedge your position right from the start - ongoing discussion on: October 07, 2019, 02:24:54 AM
Interesting discussion, i can't finish up reading this tonight but have it subbed now. My first thought is it is just a method of forestalling the inevitable and eventually you will die a death of a thousand cuts and if you need to be doing this to stay in the game then you are over extending yourself to begin with.
5036  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 07, 2019, 02:21:40 AM
IMO, Tweezer Bottom is one of the (very) possible scenarios at this stage:

Credits: @BigCheds

Yeah ok so I've never heard of a tweezer before and looked it up and I'm wondering if people just sit around making up names for every fucking pattern they ever see now.

http://www.chart-formations.com/candlestick-patterns/tweezers.aspx

Whats the criteria to be a named pattern, happened more than once in any market anywhere?

I've collected all post regarding this "Hedge your position right from the start" discussion in a separated thread for better reading through and maybe ongoing discussion there if you like.

Hedge your position right from the start - ongoing discussion

Thanks for doing this, I'm so far behind right now I would probably have missed the discussion and if not missed it surely would not have caught all the posts. Of course now I'm reading that thread instead of catching up on this one! Zero sum game just like that strategy long term. Cheesy
5037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: October 07, 2019, 01:54:17 AM
Monero and Dash are decentralized cryptocurrencies. Why Monero is better then Dash?
I will not tell you why Monero is better, but I will say why Dash is worse. Dash has a premine of about 80%, a less fair distribution of coins than Monero. Monero is true, Dash is shit. Smiley
I don’t know any info about pre-mine conditions, but Monero is using in Darknet, is it good?
Bitcoin is also using in darknet, so what? Smiley
I don't think it will be a problem as it was said about darknet, maybe they chose crypto because it is anonymous, Darknet site in my opinion is not a public site although I don't know there is something in it. for the dash problem on the site in my opinion is not a thing that must be discussed widely

There is no problem discussing it, It is well known that there many use cases for fungible assets and Dark markets are certainly one of them. In reality you have to take the good with the bad. Having the power to decide what amount of privacy is required for security should be every persons right.

took packers also this week, think they have a shot at the upset.

so packers, raiders, giants and broncos for me all underdogs lets see how this goes, so far this season has been ruff for the team comming in as a underdog but think that will change this week Tongue

3 for 4, not bad.

I'm up about 3 hours early today, ready to go to the only place in town that plays football games. Hope they have coffee.

Patriots trounced the Skins, and I'll be darned my fantasy team has its highest score ever. I'm actually set to win, thanks to stellar performances by Michael Thomas and Aaron Jones. I don't think there's any way Mahomes can overcome the deficit of my opponent.  Cool

Yeah that was a nice job on those picks. Funny thing is i have Thomas on one team and against me on the other so he won me one and lost me one. Smiley

Unless Kelce can put up similar numbers which doesn't look good with the drops he started with.
5040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The Essential NFL Thread 🏈🏈 - new poll every week on: October 03, 2019, 04:50:30 AM

Just be careful, Seahawks at home are always tough to beat and traditionally Goff is not that good away from his home stadium.  In different leagues I have a combination of golf, cup, and cooks so it might be a tough week for me.  Hoping you are right and Goff has a good game but that hawks stadium is fierce

Yeah, its a total gamble.
But thats how I roll. Grin
