Just put all the country coins in that list and we're good.
Post them up. It all starts with being aware. First and foremost thing you have to do is define 2 words: "shitcoin" and "scamcoin" You need an exact definition, otherwise everyone will blame everyone that their coin is a shit/scam coin.

Artistic sigs on the fight against the shitcoin that are made will be added to the OP for all to put in their signatures.
First T-shirt that someone makes that I can buy online about this I will buy a copy and put the post in the OP for others to buy.
What's next? BTC donation address to fight shitcoins? IPO?

Also, keep in mind this is not the only altcoin forum around.
Crush it here, it will move to another forum

TBH my suggestion is this:
If you don't like the coin, ignore it. Simple as that

Start with this trash: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=519571.0Also, I have posted a domain look-up with the rest of the scam coins on his server - see the above thread. My team were ready to release UK Coin supported by innovation, workshops, blog, forum, and a convention planned in the UK but we had to re-brand because of this scammer. They are the scourge of crypto-currency industry. So basicly that coin is shit because they got in before you could do it? I'm all for removing the lame ones from the herd, but you're just opening a turf war that will make stakeholders call each other scam/shitcoin devs It will lead to nothing in the end

That's why I won't plan starting another shit coin just to fill up my pocket with 1 hit wonder.
Missing an opportunity of starting a worthy coin after reaching Activity: 100+ will be a member's lifetime chance either wasted or not.
Well, i started another forum user 48 hours ago, and it currently has 102 activity rating....so....

I noticed this word being thrown out at every coin thats making money while coins doing poorly are hardly ever get mentioned, no doubt this word is used mostly by
- jealous people - negative people in general that just love to spread hate or maybe some dont realize theyre negging - butthurt people who got burned in the past - and some other factors
I mean I've lost some as well before but I just learned from them.. but some people its getting pretty ridicoulous
Same with bitcoins and all the bad news given to them by the haters and media. Its just a sick non stop neg cycle whether people are into bitcoin, altcoins or the stock markets
You actually beat me to the post! I agree, every coin is being called a scam these days. And yes, while some are pure scams (usually animal-coins) some have real intent behind them. Personaly i believe, 99.99% coins are a copy-paste of bitcoin/litecoin source. In my optinion, for a coin, even a copy paste one, to be successful, you need value for the coin. You want a coin to make it big, start offering some services/merchandise for the coin.

LOL, that is fabricated my friend. I just checked wallets network hashrate report, and it's much lower I appreciate you hatred towards our coin which bumps our thread. Thank you so much mate.
Anyway, thank you so much for the donations. Contacting some good developers about it. Cheers Don't be so dramatical. There is no hatred here. I just see people trying to fool other people and i don't like it

The answer is simple:
1 LTC ~ $17 1 Đoge ~ $0.00001?

cool visuals 4 sure
Wow man, such hypocrisy. Few posts below you were "No thank you" to a similar coin, and encourage this one?
|
|
|
And i'm sure forum staff doesn't want to loose so much traffic. LOL! Seriously, (part of) the forum staff sees alt-section as a trash can, and a way to prevent littering other parts of the forum with alt-coin drama. I'm sure part of them do, other part doesn't. But in the end, it's their decision
|

To be honest, if they were to listen to you, even you couldn't write in that thread since you have <100 activity.
As far as the new scamcoins and shitcoins are concerned, you might block them, and they will move somewhere else. And i'm sure forum staff doesn't want to loose so much traffic.
Besides, if you feel coins are bad, just avoid them all together. I agree some are total BS and are ment to rob people of their BTC, but i also see that around 1/3 of supporters really like the coin. So you never know, shitcoin one day, popular the other. (like Doge, and so many other)

This is a pump and dump, plain and simple. Don't be a idiot. brooklynite is going to buy coins before he announces, and then sell to all the stupid greedy sheeple that drive the price up when he says go. He is the only one that is going to make any money. Everyone else will lose.
This is probably the intention, but you are overestimating brooklynite's ability to keep a pump-and-dump cartel in line. brooklynite is no fontas. OP: WWWD? (what would wolong do?) WTF is woolong or fantos? a twitter account for a fat-a$$ internet junkie? So, who decides which coin will be pumped? That is the only interesting question. And how to communicate, via skype, irc or how? The fact remains... the one who decides about the coin, i'm 99% sure he holds a BIG bag of it and is waiting to dump it 10 minutes after the pumping starts. I've seen it being done before (galaxy coin few days ago). Around 200 people were pumping, while the original pump whale was dumping.

I am sorry for your loss. I spent about a week putting my wallets through multiple layers of encryption using the strongest passwords before putting the lot into cold storage and I still don't feel it is safe. You say Linux - I say GnuTLS bug, you say 2fa I say look at all the posts around here stating that their 2 factor secured accounts were hacked. I always knew our PCs were insecure, but I am amazed at how prolific and complex some of these hacks have become. The only coins I keep out of cold storage now are the ones I am using like cash to spend and preferably stored in an Android Wallet where I can better control when I am online. Bitcoin banks might be the answer in the long run, but I think we as a community need to recognise just how serious this issue is and stop blaming the victims.
I'm sure even the strongest safe can be cracked, and even the most secure system can be compromised. The thing is, unless it's a prize worth while, noone is going to bother. Most of the "regulars" hacks are people with stupid or common passwords, no real hacking going on. On the other hand, as for banks and exchanges, the easiest thing is to blame hackers (yet there's no proof) I doubt anyone would put some real cracking/brute forcing power for measly 0.5 BTC the OP claim was stolen

block 767 was solved on your pool... which I have a 1,208.2 pi stake in...
If we were to do this... would I lose all of that? Will I be able to earn it back quickly?
To answer your question, yes. Sadly, the blockchain explorer isn't working so I couldn't tell exactly when the diff went crazy, so I just went back 60 blocks, which will orphan 767 if the chain from my code is accepted by the network. I don't know how long it'll take you to earn it back, but a lot less than it'll take to mine the main chain at those difficulties I'll bet! Explorer is working now

This is a pump and dump, plain and simple. Don't be a idiot and fall for it. brooklynite is going to buy the coins before he announces and then sell to all the stupid greedy sheeple that start buying when he says go. He is the only one that is going to make any money. Everyone else will lose.
spot on and its why I block pumpers. I am replying to one this time so they don't sucker fools in, none of its good for the market, if you understand trading any pump without fundamentals always returns to normal. There is no pump and no dump. Dump happens when someone is holding a ton of coins that is larger than the pumped up crowd. There is no such thing here and no one to dump large quantities. The coin will be selected from an old alt that is thinly traded. When the price starts rising rapidly, then you will see how the market swings and investors pour in. The selling of original investors will do little to sway this momentum. The selected altcoin will remain high, and yes WITHOUT fundamentals, just like ALL ALTCOINS are based on what we pay for electricity and nothing else. THERE IS NO FUNDAMENTAL with alts. And who gets to decide which coin is pumped? You? Looking at your sig, i'd say you're as broke as a church mouse, and are hoping to scam alot of naive people.
