5021  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Plagiarised Bounty content on: January 29, 2021, 09:28:56 AM
he didnt contact me! he want to spread FUD here! i didnt copied any content! all is original from me
It's not that you just copied rules, you even copied an obvious mistake (the one about not allowing DT members to join bounty campaign). Instead of admitting what you did and asking Small Rabbit is it ok to use what they wrote, you went even further and deny what's obvious to everyone.

I personally wouldn't join a bounty campaign led by someone like you and if you keep like that you will end up tagged.

This is like creating myetherwallet.org (fake) where there is myehterwallet.com.
What he did was simply due laziness (not a trait you wanna see in bounty manager) but I wouldn't go that far and compare copying bounty rules with pretending that he is someone else. It would be a different thing if he pretends that he is alt of Small Rabbit or something along those lines. For example, something like this user did, pretending that his bounty campaign is part of one known bounty team in order attract more bounty hunters.
5022  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: List of fake wallets on Google Play, 20 active at the moment! on: January 29, 2021, 08:20:06 AM
Literally anyone can upload an app in Google playstore and they won't have any kind of good screening process in it so there is a big chance that they will just re-upload their phishing apps.
It's true that Google sucks in that regard and that there is a lot of room  for improvement but I don't think that they don't check apps at all. Problem is that they don't manually check each and every app made by a new developer. Or at least to manually check an app if there is already similarly named on available on Google Play.

I do like to think that they still block certain amount of phishing attempts, no matter how sucky and fallible their screening process is.
5023  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: List of fake wallets on Google Play, 9 active at the moment! on: January 28, 2021, 08:46:50 PM
Hello Rikafip I want to add on the list some of the fake wallets I found.

Fake electrum
This fake Electrum wallet seems to be already removed so there is no point adding it now.

One of the reported fake Coinbase wallets is already removed so won't be added but the other one is still available so that on goes on the list!

Google removed four fake wallets in the last day or two, so with this newly identified fake Coinbase wallet there are overall 6  active at the moment.
5024  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bounty Scammers, Why Do We Care? on: January 28, 2021, 10:40:24 AM
Even though catching bounty abusers might seem like a Sisyphus work/whack-a-mole as once you tag them they will simply abandon that account and create the new one and continue with the same practice, I can see at least one instant benefit; since bounty awards are stake based, more people join the campaign means that less tokens each member will get, and by removing the abusers those legit bounty hunters who are abiding the rules will get more tokens. Majority of bounty hunters probably have alts that are not discovered yet, but I like to think that there must be a certain percentage of those that are not abusing the rules and are playing by the book.

Granted it would be far more effective to hold bounty managers to some sort of a standard but that's been discussed numerous times without a viable solution.
If bounty managers are really interested in reducing the amount of bounty abuse and get somewhat legit members they would set at least Jr Member as a minimum requirement to join the campaign. That of course wouldn't solve the issue completely but it would decrease the amount of abuse significantly as it's not the same to loose worthless Newbie account and Jr Member. No matter how easy it seems to us to get merits, for an average bounty hunter getting even 1 merit looks like a mountain to climb so they would think twice before joining he campaign with a few alts, considering  how good some members are when it comes to catching the alts.

We all know its all about the quantity and not the quality when it comes to bounty campaigns...
5025  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Visa Cards Are Now Available in Europe on: January 28, 2021, 09:10:02 AM
Solution - exchange crypto to fiat on Binance and top-up card with it.
I did my first purchase with virtual card while waiting for physical version almost immediately after I submitted for one and had no issues with paying using crypto. I planned to pay with BUSD but I forgot to change the order in which currencies are spent so I ended up paying with BNB instead. Purchase was in Euro though, so I don't know if that makes any difference.

One thing that bothers me is that cashback history is completely empty, even though they mention that cashback status should be "pending, "completed" or "declined" but it doesn't show anything. I have only few BNB but still should be eligible for that 1%. I tried contacting support, but eventually gave up after waiting for a couple of hours. Anyone else with the similar issue?

Binance did not charge any commission for first week usage.
I couldn't find any info regarding that. It's weird that Binance didn't mention that anywhere if that's really the case. But I can live with up to 0.9% fee if that cashback thing works properly, especially since I was using mainly Bitcoin ATMs up until now and fees were much higher than that.
5026  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Plagiarised Bounty content on: January 28, 2021, 07:53:17 AM
In the past there's already a issues like this one before in this thread Another signature campaign with plagiarism but the @OP didn't got banned so far.
To be honest, quite a few of bounty threads look similar to each other, those that are new are taking pieces of the older ones, ocassionaly adding a bit of their own etc. That of course doesn't mean that it is ok to copy word for word even something as bounty rules do  without  permission from the person you took content from.

@Small Rabit have you contacted malekcap about this?
5027  Other / Meta / Re: Report Malware and Suspicious Links here so Mods can take Action ! on: January 27, 2021, 10:34:55 AM
Several fake announcement threads with malware appeared this morning, please delete them and nuke the users. It's probably the same person behind all 4 fake ANN threads as M.O. is the same: all four accounts are made today, threads are locked, githubs recently created etc.

5028  Economy / Reputation / Re: [LIST] ANN threads that are using bumping services on: January 27, 2021, 09:49:21 AM
Hello Rikafip !

I've found another representative for your list. Everyone please welcome [ANN] 🌳🌳🌳Moss.earth - The world's largest environmental platform.
Yep, no doubt what's going on here, they indeed hired bumping service. They are doing it on the light schedule though, probably bought one of the smallest "packages". Anyway, Moss.earth has been added on the list.

Some of the topic posters were spotter posting on Reapchain (Nr.60 in your list), so there is no doubt bumping service is used by Moss.earth.
Not just Reapchain, they have been active in at least two more on the list; BambooDefi and AAX. That's of course not a coincidence.
5029  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM]LEDU CAMPAIGN on: January 27, 2021, 08:20:08 AM
Why do projects order bounty campaigns from third parties in 2020?  In the majority of cases, it ends badly for both of the parties.
Beside the fact that projects hire bounty manager simply because they have more experience, bounty managers are also hired in order to attract more bounty hunters. The more reputable manager is, more bounty hunters will join.

From what I noticed, bounty managers often have their own telegram groups too with thousands of bounty hunters that basically join every single bounty campaign that manager hosts. Number of bounty hunters that they can attract is probably one of the arguments they use when negotiating with the poential client.
5030  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Exodus wallet phishing on: January 26, 2021, 11:22:14 AM
I dont know from where they are getting crypto based user database and sending emails to attract people on their money stealing trap. We have seen similar attempt in the past and still this scammers are running their phishing platform to steal exodus wallet users credentials and fund. This time they are using a new created domain.
It might be that they are using using leaked Ledger email database and hoping that some of them are also using Exodus. My email got leaked and I got shit load of phishing attempts from various fake sites.

Seems like phishing website is already down, and for some reason archive link is not working.
5031  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Another deception of bounty payments to hunters POOLZ on: January 26, 2021, 10:41:46 AM
the fact that the Manager in this estuarie can not do anything, this I understand, but it can directly branch to write what will probably be the payment split or after a while, what the payments will be 2 weeks after TGE? is this also the team's fault ?
Bounty manager is probably just using the info he got from the team, he is probably not making distribution plans by himself. What you as a bounty hunter should do is not join bounty campaign of a manager that you think is doing a bad job. In reality, majority of bounty hunters will forget about all the issues immediately when they see a new bounty campaign by a same manager.

it is understandable that they want to protect the token value, bounty hunters usually sell tokens immediately and ruin his price, but waiting for 2.5 years for bounty rewards it is unacceptable.
If that's how they perceived bounty hunters solely as  token dumpers, then they shouldn't even have bounty campaign, or eventually set realistic bounty pool. According to current POOLZ price, bounty pool is worth more than 300,000 USD (25,000 POOLZ) so of course they decided to screw bounty hunters knowing that they won't face any repercussions because of it.

What will happen in half a year, year? Nothing will happen, they will withdraw the money, and the project will go to the bottom.
By the time they are supposed to finish distributing bounty tokens, Poolz a a project won't probably even exist anymore.

My suggestion is to relax and wait. Think of it from the bright side - if you would sell everything now, but POOLZ token price continued to grow, you would feel even worse than "be deceived".
That's exactly the reason why bounty hunter get screwed over and over again. They are ready to join just about any bounty campaign that appears, waiting for months or even years to get tokens, and in the end getting peanuts after team is done with the dumping.

They say that definition of insanity is "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results",  and that pretty much sums up bounty campaigns. How many times bounty hunters have to get screwed to learn the lesson?
5032  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: List of fake wallets on Google Play, 9 active at the moment! on: January 26, 2021, 08:21:27 AM
If this fake Mycelium wallet been reported or listed already? If not, then kindly add it @Rikafip, thanks for this thread. Archived here.
Code:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myceliumwallet.smart
There is already one fake Mycelium wallet on the list, but the one you discovered is different so I added it to the list and reported.

Two more fake wallets have been identified being available on Google Play.

Fake Atomic wallet
Code:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.myatomwall.starcoomter

Fake Jaxx Liberty wallet
Code:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.linkstore.ss.jaxx

14 fake wallets have been removed by Google in the last couple of days, so at least there is some good news. Their reaction could still be faster though as in a couple of weeks (which is their average response times) chances are good that someone will download the app, enter seed phrase and loose all the money. Please report three newly added fake wallets; it will only take a minute of your time and it might save someone.

5033  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Another deception of bounty payments to hunters POOLZ on: January 25, 2021, 09:27:17 PM
I'm not the first day in bounty, and saw the division of the distribution, But this distribution I see for the first time, and still brazenly declaring that we generally reserve the token was not there, and 1 time in half a year to just 20 %, not knowing what will happen with the token even after a month
Yep, I agree, waiting for two and a half years to  get all of your bounty tokens is ridiculously long and it should have been mentioned right from the beginning of the bounty campaign but they are perfectly aware of the fact that many probably wouldn't even bother to join. But that's a life of a bounty hunter hunter I guess..

BM says that he tried to solve the problem, but at the same time she would like postponing the final table as they could, nonetheless, closed the bounty group, the fact that she tried to solve the problem, I believe only after it will throw off a screenshot of the correspondence where he tried to do it, as this is not the first company which acted last her company did like follows https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5285048.0
To be honest, I don't think that bounty managers can do much in these situation since they don't have bounty tokens or any escrowed funds. They have no way to leverage the project to pay bounty hunters. What you as bounty hunter can do is to avoid managers where this kind of thing happens more often than not and that's about it.
5034  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Another deception of bounty payments to hunters POOLZ on: January 25, 2021, 07:39:20 PM
Pretty much standard practice, as seen so many times before:
  • Start bounty campaign with inflated bounty pool in order to attract as many bounty hunters as possible
  • Set the exact distribution date so bounty hunters have something to look forward to
  • When you see that your token is performing well, screw the bounty hunters any way you can-delay the distribution, lower the bounty pool, be more strict etc. The only limit is your imagination
  • Once token is worthless, start bounty distribution.

I am sorry that you guys got screwed, but until bounty hunters start joining only bounty campaigns that have escrowed  bounty pool, this will keep happening. Problem is, chances of that happening are slim to none.
5035  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: So how do i make daily20- 40$ here ? on: January 25, 2021, 07:08:10 PM
Simple doeble instructions to make small money daily 20-40$
? Whats most easy way ?
And its small money specially if we look how expensive is life  20 $ is very small daily

What are the simple doeble process to follow to make it
Since you created your account few years ago, and if you were helpful and constructive member of bitcointalk, by now you would be at least Hero member rank, enabling you to join signature campaigns. Maybe you wouldn't make 20-40 USD daily (which is by no means small money for majority of the people) but still it would be a nice pocket money.

Instead of that you are wasting your time opening troll-like topics and running ponzi schemes.
5036  Local / Altcoins (Hrvatski) / Re: Binance kartica on: January 25, 2021, 01:58:37 PM
Kad tih 0.283 BNB pretvorim u eure ispada 10.001 euro.

E sad nemam pojma jesam nesto sjebao ili krivo racunao, ali fee ispada fakat mali. Bas javim jel bude ista od tog cashbacka.
5037  Local / Altcoins (Hrvatski) / Re: Binance kartica on: January 25, 2021, 09:32:29 AM

5038  Economy / Reputation / Re: Unchanged alt remains cheating in the DeFi-For-You campaign. on: January 24, 2021, 02:29:05 PM
This is so ridiculous. The man who have two or more brother, they dont join same bounty. This is not valid reason Sir.
This is totally unfair.
Thing is, this "relative" excuse has been used so many times by numerous cheaters who were breaking bounty campaign rules that no one will believe you now , even if what you are saying it's true and your brother is behind that other account. I remember that some even shared picture of their alleged family, all "working" together. It didn't help of course.

It might seen not fair to you, but in 99.99%+ of the chances it is a case a bounty rule abuse.
5039  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best Youtube Channel for Bitcoin price and prediction on: January 24, 2021, 01:54:18 PM
These are all the "moon boys" and if you watch their videos, they will only say that bitcoin will go up and up and up. But actually it is not the case as bitcoin is in downtrend from Jan 04.
Well, they are saying that because we are in the bull market, but if price suddenly drops down hard they would change the narrative immediately. They are just going along with the current sentiment and trying to profit from it.

Generally, the more exposures you have to news (televisions, social media, press releases from websites as well as videos from Youtube channels or signal groups), the more uncertainty you will have, the more bias your thoughts will be.
+1

Signal to noise ratio is so bad that being too "informed" will probably bring more bad than good and it might make you doubt yourself which could cause making stupid moves. I did that mistake in the past when i was a noob and I thought that YouTubers know what they are talking about.

What's even more incredibly annoying about YT are their ads, so even though I may realize that the ad appears before the video, when they interrupt my video in the middle of watching to play another ad just to pay the premium account, they increasingly turn me away from using their service.
Oh yeah, there are so many adds at the moment and number keeps getting up that it will be impossible to use YouTube without premium, but I guess thats their long term goal. I am already seriously considering that.
5040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Quantity of Altcoins to buy? on: January 24, 2021, 09:56:00 AM
What would people normally spend on this coin? Obviously as many as you can in case it shoots up to 10 a coin... But just keen to understand how people think / buy.

Would you spend 20 or 100. Or does it depend on your overall goal short term or long term?

For me, it all depends on the size of my portfolio. Somewhere back in late 2018/early 2019 I got rid of all the altcoins except ETH (I sold those altcoins at the loss but that proved as a good long term decision since  they sunk even more compared to BTC) and just a week ago I bought my first altcoins in the last couple of years. The way I decided how much to invest was simple: I set aside 5% of my portfolio (still keeping BTC in the 80-85% area) and decided to spread that amount evenly between few alts. Since I generally suck at trading and for me hodl works best, I invested in those that I think will perform good in the next 3-6 months.

Just remember, investing in altcoins is a huge gamble so you shouldn't overexpose yourself.
