Sorry to vent about it here, but yet another example of deficient copy editing in the crypto press surfaced this morning. This shit drives me nuts. https://www.coindesk.com/new-ways-save-crypto-post-quantum-world/Not only this, but a "huge number" of alternative quantum-resistant signature schemes to a major cryptographic conference last November, according to Zamyatin. This was presented as a paragraph, it is not even a sentence. Where do they find these people?

Google translate is not your friend. Google is a great program, which shows small skills in this area in their language and affects overall. If you disagree with having a penis out of merits

Here is one time that I will concede (it does not happen very often) that the wordiness of my response may have caused a loss of the thrust of what I was attempting to say.
my god it's full of stars

This's interesting. We're no-where near the dotcom bubble yet in terms of market-cap: I generally agree with this. The idea that it's the end of a great bubble conflicts with the capitalization of previous great bubbles. The South Sea Bubble went to $4tn in real terms and that was confined to a single country (albeit a world power then). As Tera points out, we should include all crypto in the calculation, but at ~$850B the peak is still rather underwhelming as the finale of a global mania. The quoted graph is somewhat strange as it suggests above $1 tril in internet stocks in 1995 or something close. As far as I remember, Yahoo only started trading in 1996, although I could be wrong. AMZN 1997, Ebay 1998. If they suggest that 1995 internet companies were Intel, MSFT and CSCO, than it is clearly a stretch. Besides, I read somewhere else that "pure" Internet peaked at just 3 tril in 2000. I agree with the overall conclusion that 850bil (at the peak) or 320-330 bil now, 18-20 years after the internet 'bubble", feels like an awfully small number. Besides, MSM keeps talking about crypto bubble. They did no such thing during 1998-2000. Instead, it was always rah rah. I remember some B2B companies that were nothing, but a reverse FUD from Mary Meeker, etc. They all pretty much zeroed. VERT, lol, fun memories. not even weighing in on this, certainly don't remember any of the numbers, I would say however, remember to correct for inflation, pretty much always

I don't think the mayor is coming down off the bridge over a little $500 pop this time.
Don't really blame him, those 1hr mammoths still have me spooked.

First one to pass out at the meetup becomes Bob's property for the night.
mmmmmmmmm tempting

My old silver stacking board (the one I recently mentioned that I had learned the admin had passed away) had a meetup in Vegas years ago. I did not make it but all reports were positive. I guess they had a pretty good time.
The ZeroHedge comment section guys had one...and they are doing it again if you can believe that...I have to admit, that boggles my mind, but if those obnoxious motherfuckers can get together and have a good time anything is possible.

This is an interesting place. When things are doing good we all share and enjoy the same feeling of success and richness (even if in different levels) and the opposite (like right now) also holds true. Quite different than IRL friends, most of them being complete nocoiners. #justarandomthought
We should have a WO meetup some time. Maybe we can have an IRL celebration when BTC hits $100K haha. like, a whole floor of a hotel...with the floors just above and just below for our collective security forces

I don't even have any idea what the normal forum sections are these days.
I'm 2 or 3 years + just in a few meaningful threads.
Normal forum sections, gosh, you bring back memories.... It is well established that it is not safe to go out there. I looked just the other day, still a barren wasteland, vacuous google translate posts trying to meet sig campaign quotas as plentiful as grains of sand.

So...Bcash wallet doesn't work that well on a Trezor. Respons from Slush; This mess was made by bad architectural decision of Bcash team. We warned them, they knew about the issues and they decided to ignore it. I refuse any responsibility for it. Cashaddr support is in standard development process and it'll be ready when done. Guess what those Bcash tards doing? They start to shit on Slush and the device it self while...you know it's those incompetences Bshit devs. Yeah..goatpig's remarks on the technical side of BCash were...um...not exactly glowing as the Armory signer was being developed. I was digesting a lot of propaganda from both sides at the time and this really swayed my view.

Bob, I'm ready for that drink. Single malt kinda guy. A shot of Dalmore is high on the bucket list or a older Balvenie might be just as nice. I'll do my best not to get any bitcoiner tears in it. 32D6TKWE5LEgNk6u92bEm1GNAzmnheXbCt
