5021  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: June 16, 2022, 03:48:11 PM
I am not sure how long this bear market ends but there are many factors that affects the current market sentiment. Covid19 pandemic still affects the livelihood of some countries. Many people are liquidating their investments on crypto preparing for the possibility of a global recession. Some says that crypto market will only recover again after the next bitcoin halving in 2024. Well for me, this is a the perfect opportunity to have huge gains for the next bull run. Accumulating at this price will give you easy 100% gain of your investment.
no one knows how long the market will stay in its current state. although there is some stabilization this does not mean the market has improved. we could see a more extreme decline. before going in, I think we should consider the possibility of another downturn. I have faith we're not done with the bear scaring everyone.
Yes, that's correct. No one knows when the market will change because it will depend on the sentiments of the people who trade in the crypto market. Maybe this bear market will be in the market for a while and give people more time to buy lots of coins before the market changes direction and the price of individual coins can go up again. But if you are thinking of selling your coins, you better recalculate how much you will get because it is not easy to see your money's value after selling your coins. But if your strategy is to sell the coins so you can buy them at a lower price, you can try, but there will be risks that you have to bear.
5022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Problem, Is it Possible to be a Thing of the Past? on: June 16, 2022, 03:15:19 PM
Playing gambling does require strong self-control so that problems do not arise after we play gambling. Usually, for the first time we play, the problem doesn't arise but after we play for some time, say a month. Usually, there will be a desire to get bigger wins and if we don't have good self-control, it will lead to destruction in our life.

Another problem that arises from gambling is the problem of gambling addiction which will become uncontrollable and is also one of the causes of destruction in our lives. If we have good self-control, we can prevent these problems from arising and enjoy gambling as a means of getting pleasure.
5023  Economy / Economics / Re: How can I survive in a place where BTC is restricted? on: June 16, 2022, 02:12:47 PM
~snip~
Bitcoin is not just beneficial for us neither, it is great deal for the governments as well. We could literally pay taxes from our profits and those taxes would mean a lot of money for them.

Think about it, even if we paid just 1/1000 of our profit each time we profit, that would be a huge huge huge amount for a whole government because they will take it from each profitable trade made by every single citizen they have. That's going to be billions at least, use those billions to build something that will make them a profit, and they would be swimming in cash in a few years. That is at least if they use it smartly instead of just corruption and pocketing it.
That's what the current government should do instead of banning the use of bitcoin for the public. If governments do not or have not learned anything about bitcoin, they will be left behind by other countries and unable to see the benefits that they can get from bitcoin.

If more people use bitcoin and the government can get taxes from transactions sent to local banks, that will certainly be additional income for the government. This extra income can be huge as more people join and use bitcoin and it could be that it will be one of the biggest earners for the government.

~snip~
In order for everything to happen as you described, you must be regularly stronger than the bookmakers and have a good public betting history where everyone can see that you are in profit. Do you really think this scenario is likely? In my opinion, this is like talking about how you can make money in poker - you just need to register in the tournament and beat all the other participants. It's real, but unlikely.
It will be our portfolio so that potential customers can see the history of the bets that we have done before so that they can be interested in using our services. This is very important because that is how we can get more potential customers to use our services. But this is not as easy as imagined because maybe there is already a service we want and we really have to have a good ability to provide maximum service to customers.
5025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are given this opportunity to choose which one will it be on: June 15, 2022, 02:33:57 PM
Seeing Avalanche lose 80+% of its value compare to its all time high looks like a very tempting buying opportunity to me, if you are given the chance to only pick a wallet with 5000 pieces of Cardano or Avalanche which one will you go for and why?.
Perhaps, I will prefer Cardano over Avalanche because I see the potential for Cardano to develop will be better than Avalanche. But if I could choose both, I'd choose Cardano and Avalanche Grin

But what is clear, the two altcoins are not two that have a high potential to increase because there are ethereum and bnb, which are still above the two altcoins. So ethereum and bnb will be my focus on altcoins.
5026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODLing strong! on: June 15, 2022, 01:22:31 PM
Besides holding strong, you should buy back more bitcoin in this situation as the price is down deeper and give you the opportunity to get as many bitcoin as you can. But you should calculate how much money you should use to buy bitcoin and not use all of the money just for the price now but spread it at a much lower price. Selling at a down price is not recommended, but if you think that is necessary, you can do that so you will have money to buy back more bitcoin amounts.
5027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: June 15, 2022, 12:08:46 PM
The man is a compulsive gambler and addicted to gambling, no man in his right mind will gamble away the money wrongly sent to him, a right-thinking man will ask where the money comes in and why they send the money, this is the kind of guy who will gamble any money that his hands will touch and will not regret it, he should be charged for not doing the right thing and he should take professional help because this addiction will eventually ruin his life.
That's right. Supposedly if the man realized that the money was a mistake, he would have immediately contacted the bank and returned everything. From there, the bank will surely reward him for his honesty by returning all the money, and maybe the man can change his life for the better. But everything has happened, and the man must return all the money, and hopefully, the police don't punish him for misappropriating money that doesn't belong to him.
5028  Economy / Economics / Re: How can I survive in a place where BTC is restricted? on: June 15, 2022, 10:59:21 AM
Yes basically every country has its own policies and I'm sure it won't be easy for Bitcoin to be allowed as a means of payment worldwide,
it will always be interesting to talk about this because we know for ourselves that cryptocurrency technology is very advanced,
We'll see what the future will be like
Hopefully, every government can see the use of bitcoin for their citizens, so they will allow the use of bitcoin and legalize it. Several countries have legalized the use of bitcoin and allowed their citizens to pay for transactions using bitcoin. But with the other benefits of bitcoin as an investment tool, I don't think people will often use it as an alternative tool to make payment transactions but will store their bitcoins and sell them when the price is at its best peak.
5029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you Considered a Career in Betting Consultancy? on: June 15, 2022, 10:05:25 AM

Just like Tony Bloom and others, it is possible that you can turn your hobby into a profitable business venture if you are confident of your skillsets. Have you ever considered a career in betting consultancy?
Everything in our life now can be profitable specially as the help of internet? now things can easily be Sell , either skills, abilities ,knowledge or material thing so I believe that Gambling skills can be also as profitable as everything,
this can be considered as service so why not?
The answer is yes. Trying a career in gambling as a consultant can also be done, especially if we are used to giving tips about a game. The internet can help us get many customers, especially if we can give almost accurate predictions for many matches. Those who have used our services will return and try to place bets on other matches. Sooner or later, this career will develop as more customers use our services.
5030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you Considered a Career in Betting Consultancy? on: June 14, 2022, 01:27:17 PM
I've never considered developing a career in betting consulting because I don't really know how to analyze a bet and don't have the resources to analyze it. This is not easy because we have to really understand the sport we are going to analyze, so maybe we need to learn to analyze a match and find which team or player has a chance to win. If we are used to analyzing this, we will have a good ability to analyze a match.
5031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stake most of my USDT, it is better to leave it as USDT or change it to USDC ? on: June 14, 2022, 12:30:00 PM
Staking USDT is okay but staking USDC is also okay. If you are already staking USDT as the image, you could continue and claim the reward, but you can use the reward to convert it into USDC and staking it. I am also staking USDT, but I am not trying to stake USDC, and I think it is good to start now and get the reward of buying and investing in bitcoin. That will be another benefit for me in this downtrend so I can get more profit later from bitcoin.
5032  Economy / Speculation / Re: $13,000 is quite possible this week on: June 14, 2022, 11:26:59 AM
In my opinion, $13K is quite possible this week for Bitcoin. But whales are confuse for dumping more because they know Bitcoin has more value and it is undervalue around $13k. So more dumping means draining their bags so quickly. People are really hungry for Bitcoin in new inflationary era.
I can only say that everything is possible if we look at the history of bitcoin's movement because we can not predict the price easily. Everything can change quickly without us having time to analyze it, which makes many people panic. But let's hope bitcoin doesn't drop below $20k and can stay at the current price and even bounce back up again so that it can be profitable for us. But if $13k or even $8k is the lowest bitcoin price, we can only wait for that moment to come while preparing our money to buy at that price.
5033  Economy / Economics / Re: How can I survive in a place where BTC is restricted? on: June 14, 2022, 10:18:49 AM
Most businesses rely on Bitcoin for transactions. They use Bitcoin to pay for goods and services and not for investment. Hence these business would do everything possible to bypass these restrictions imposed on Bitcoin by government. Bitcoin has so much benefits that have helped businesses to overcome many barriers encountered in international trade. Like in my country their is always scarcity of dollars and accessing it would take a whole lot of time. There are also limits to bank transaction and this has made businesses to suffer. Since Bitcoin is illegal in my country, most business rely on P2P and middlemen to bypass these restriction. But the best option would be to leave these Bitcoin unfriendly nations.
But if those countries don't allow bitcoin, they won't be able to use bitcoin and only use bitcoin as an investment and not as a payment alternative. Maybe it's not time for bitcoin to be used as an alternative means of payment other than fiat because there are still restrictions in certain countries that do not recognize it as a means of payment. But if they realize the benefits of bitcoin for their business, especially the government, maybe they will try to apply it to the payment system so that people can pay using bitcoin.
5034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 14, 2022, 09:24:29 AM
I think gambling is something interesting.  What I mean is of course gambling is a game that gets our adrenaline pumping.  One of the things that makes gambling a popular game is the curiosity of a human being.  I think this is the most essential thing.  When we bet, it is because we are curious about the actual outcome that will happen whether it is the same as what we expected or not.  That's what makes gambling interesting in my opinion.  And of course, we have to be able to not get addicted to gambling because that would be something bad, especially for your money.  Grin
Gambling is indeed something that is interesting and can make us addicted but it depends on how we can react to it. If we just go along with our wills without thinking about what will happen to us, sooner or later, we will feel like losing a lot of money from gambling. A human's curiosity becomes great when he keeps getting defeated so he wants to recover from his defeats. And that also happens if he gets a win. That won't stop him from getting more winning money. As long as we can suppress the curiosity about winning and continue to try to control ourselves, I think we will not be addicted to gambling and can enjoy gambling as an interesting thing.
5035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Its One Too Many on: June 13, 2022, 07:32:01 AM
I will not mention any particular gambling casinos, but what are your thought if the casino or casinos with good feedback from the community, but with one unresolved scam accusation but from all angles, the accusation is legit with all the screenshots, transaction hash email conversation are provided by the complainant lets say he is not allowed to withdraw his earnings amounting to $100k but from all angles the accusation is valid, don't you think with thousand good feedback, its enough for the casino to lose his reputation with one legit accusation.
If only one accusation even though it is valid is not enough to damage the reputation of the Casino especially if it is only one from the long time the Casino has been operating, especially for loyal users, they may only raise doubts from new users.
I know a Casino that experienced this and from about 3 years they operated only one accusation (seems valid with the evidence included) but this remains a question after the accusation not existed a new one, and the Casino is still operating with around thousands of players each day (statistics are on the website if you are logged in)
I also think so because it is just one accusation which is not enough to damage the casino's reputation, especially if the casino already has a pretty good reputation among the other casinos. And if it did happen at a reputable casino, they would solve the problem without taking too long, especially if the member could indeed show proof that he wasn't cheating the casino. The casino would help cash out his winnings. But we only hope that every member will not get into serious trouble in the casino so they can play comfortably and safely.
5036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 13, 2022, 06:31:56 AM
It's hard to win because gambling is not designed to give us a win but gives the casino a chance to get money from the losing gamblers. Maybe some casinos close because they lose to gamblers who can get or hit the jackpot and get a lot of money. But it is very rare to see a casino experience this because a casino can still operate even though there are gamblers who can win a lot of money.

Now, if one of our family members has an addiction, we must help them to overcome that addiction. But if they don't want to tell us, it will be difficult for us to help them. This requires some discussion between family members and the addicted person so they can find a solution on how to help him.
5037  Economy / Economics / Re: How can I survive in a place where BTC is restricted? on: June 13, 2022, 05:31:39 AM
There are many more countries who have taken this step. My question now is, how do citizens who have BTC and reside in areas that are not crypto friendly cope?
If that's the case, it's best to keep your bitcoins and not try to sell them, as that will cause you problems. While you keep your bitcoins, you should keep trying to make money in other ways so that you can still earn while waiting for the time to sell your bitcoins legally. At least that's what you can do now, and don't tell anyone that you own bitcoins. I am sure you don't want to get any problems because of owning bitcoin, so that will be how you can do it.
5038  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A season for stop loss on: June 13, 2022, 04:29:22 AM
It looks like this condition will continue, and maybe you are a little late to use stop-loss because the price is now at the $25k level. But still, it's okay if you already use stop loss to avoid even bigger losses. Hopefully, the price will not fall deeper and sadden investors and traders. But if that continues, investors and traders will have to prepare themselves for deeper bear market times.

But rest assured that this situation will not last forever and will be replaced by the bull market so that the price will reverse direction and increase again. Or maybe if you're in doubt, it's best not to try to buy coins and just wait.
5039  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Start crypto earning on: June 13, 2022, 03:28:56 AM
Hi dear I want to ask to you about crypto trading, what do you recommend if I have 1000 USD and want to grow it by crypto. How can I do it safely and low risk?
If it is about trading, you must have the ability to trade. But if it is about investing, then investing in bitcoin would be highly recommended over altcoins. But you can also invest in altcoins that have the potential to increase in the future, and coins like Ethereum and BNB are examples of coins you can buy and keep.

The risks of trading and investing in crypto are highly volatile and different from trading stocks or anything else, so you should have some knowledge of crypto before investing.

But if you still want to choose crypto as one of your investments, maybe bitcoin is the right coin for your investment. But you should only buy bitcoins when the price drops, and now is a good time to buy bitcoins.
5040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minor Protection From Gambling on: June 10, 2022, 11:35:04 PM
I'm not sure if the technology can work properly because, without the support of every parent who wants to protect their children, they will be able to visit gambling sites and play gambling freely even though such technology exists. Minors are always concerned for their parents, so they don't do anything that could harm their mental health in the future. If parents are not included, it will not work well whatever the technology they use. But we can see what will happen later and hope that will protect minors from gambling addiction.
