this is a bitcoin address that you sent your bitcoins to. It's most probably an address to which you don't have a private key. so you lost your 120 bitcoins...

Bolding because everyone seems to be ignoring me

BTC-e has the private key to that address. They just need to type dumpprivkey on their terracoind.

Must be some "fraction" scam like in Office Space. $0.00000000000000136 here and there, over the course of.... uh... five centuries, is bound to yield something significant.

What happened was the btc was in 2 different wallets.  So I sent it out in 2 parts but they truncated the last digit so it said to send .01 more btc.  So I sent .01 more btc and it still said I had to sent another 0.0000000000000017 btc even though I had already sent the full amount.  The records show that I paid the full amount so it was a software problem.  Roberto says I made it all up but I have the records saved to my hard drive.
Derp developer using floating point numbers?

They don't automatically do it, but the BTC-e admin can get your private key for your TRC wallet, and since it uses the same wallet generation code as Bitcoin, gain access to the funds in your bitcoin account.

Do you think I won't be asking for ID if you haven't told me about this idea even through I've being doing it since 2012?

If you have an issue with it, please let me know in private, not trying to stir up drama.

People would just have a bot army then.

Pythonideus doesn't run BitVegas btw.

And this will also solve the SD problem.

What SD problem? More transactions is good for bitcoin..
no it isn't. the last thing we need is SD accounting for 50% of the transactions and slowing down the confirmation time of legitimate transactions.
Are you going to say the same thing when Western Union accepts bitcoin or what and they account for 50% of the transactions? Are they legitimate but SatoshiDice is?

Are you expecting accountability and transparency from a for profit company?  Huh

Nobody other than OpenCoin Inc and their employees knows, but I think they haven't sold much yet and are still relying on their initial funding.

Not all criticism is valid however. Most people seem to complain about the 30 BTC registration fee, which, don't pay for it if you don't want to trade there or use a broker. He runs an imageboard with porn on it - so?

There hasn't being anyone willing to say "MPEx scammed me out of my coins". If there is public concern from those who do trade there, then it's worth putting it in caution.

Not dead, Erik just needs to renew the domain name..

People will only be able to buy/squat on the domain if Erik doesn't renew for one month.

Has any legitimate reason been given as to why subforums won't be added here, or is it just hard headedness?

They are clearly needed, and I believe the alt-coin community overwhelmingly supports the idea.
"Well, I've said this last time - this is bitcointalk.org not altcointalk ... "
5035  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTCJam has officially pulled a scam on: April 19, 2013, 07:59:48 AM
Hey, @TradeFortress, see how he avoids the question. Tongue

Don't attribute to malice what can be explained by stupidity.

He may just want to keep that bit anonymous. Especially since it doesn't pertain to the issue in any way.
It does, because if he tries to withdraw more than what the hot wallet has, say 5000 btc, then it's going to fail.
5036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't trust ripple! It's a get rich quick scheme for the creators. on: April 19, 2013, 07:56:28 AM
"Out of the 100 billion XRP that can ever exist, the founders kept 20 billion while OpenCoin received the remainder of 80 billion. From that 80 billion OpenCoin will sell 30 billion to fund ongoing development beyond the initial angel investment, and the remaining 50 billion will be given away to spur adoption."

http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/8519/how-long-will-it-take-for-opencoin-to-distribute-the-50-billion-xrps

I'm pretty sure the 20 billion given to the developers were "no strings attached", because the developers gave themselves the ripples.
