Thank you that's very kind of you Sir. Sorry I've not been any better help. If it was me I'd probably try 2 things simultaneously. Contact coinbase support whilst looking to cash out my coins elsewhere if you have no luck. Have you tried Kraken? I've never cashed out large lump sums so can't really advise on the best alternative to coinbase. If I get the chance I'll try to contact coinbase myself as, being a coinbase user, I'm curious as to your situation. Otherwise let us know how you get on and what you decide. Maybe this is lady lucks way of telling you to hold? Best.

Ok I'm using the mobile friendly website and it asks how much I want to sell first. I take it you've tried different browsers and devices?
5043  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase won't let me sell. on: November 03, 2015, 11:48:19 PM
Have you tried selling a small amount? Maybe it's limited for you how much you can sell per day? Just thinking out loud.
5044  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase won't let me sell. on: November 03, 2015, 11:39:27 PM
You've obviously not bothered to verify your account properly or done it incorrectly. I've just logged onto my account and sold a mbit. Process was effortless I'm glad to say. I guess you need to move your coins to sell elsewhere or contact support.
5045  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase won't let me sell. on: November 03, 2015, 11:08:22 PM
But if I understand you correctly you haven't sold your coins so haven't yet realised any profit. And it's not likely to happen until you verify your account or move the coins elsewhere to sell.
5046  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase won't let me sell. on: November 03, 2015, 11:02:22 PM
You need to verify that you are who you say you actually are. Not simply log on.
5047  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase won't let me sell. on: November 03, 2015, 10:49:03 PM
Calm down. Technically it's not your money until you've realised the profit.
5048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream news talking about the rise of Bitcoin already on: November 03, 2015, 10:41:29 PM
Nope it's back below 400. You guys really need to contain yourself. There's no easy path to unimaginable wealth.

5053  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is causing the spike in Bitcoin value October 2015? on: October 30, 2015, 03:57:32 PM
Not thought much about this before but it really is in the interests of governments around the world to start buying up and holding btc as those governments that hold the most may end up in a very advantageous position should Bitcoin succeeed.

5057  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: October 03, 2015, 10:56:59 PM
So long as Bitcoin is limited to 7 transactions a second I cannot see it going anywhere next year apart from down the drain.

5059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need the bitcoin foundation to fix the blocksize problem on: October 03, 2015, 11:32:48 AM
The whole community has seen it: BTC has a problem.
No, it does not.

I hope the BTC foundation could help the community to put the blocksize debate behind us.
Hopefully it does nothing.

I wish Satoshi would come out of the shadows to resolve this issue once and for all.
Please stop calling out ti Satoshi like he's the ultimate savior. This is a classic appeal to authority. Just because he created Bitcoin, it does not mean that he has the right answer to every problem.
Nothing to do with authority. It's Satoshis baby. He probably has a better thought or vision than anyone.
