Hey OSS, thanks for share that, since months ago i was asking my self how to setup an explorer, and i even was thinking to code it my self, and now after reading about Blockcypher i see the light at end of the tunnel. I will wget that code and give it a try.
By the way, do you know if Blockcypher works for other coins or only for BTC?
I don't think so, the service itself works for Dogecoin, Litecoin, and Bitcoin so I'm going to assume the same thing goes for the source and even If not, you should be able to tweak it since both LTC and DOGE are forked from bitcoin.

A better alternative where most of the exchanges, services, and gambling sites are listed and you also have multiple addresses and not the main ones only.

The IP address doesn't necessarily mean it's the same person. If you have staked address in the forums, sign a message.

Hi there! Someone told me to post with intervals, and that was a year ago, already forgotten what she told me and cant really remember anything. I hope some can help me about it, i dont want to be banned, and trying to be careful of what will i do. May i know how many minutes will be the intervals for the posting/reply? Thanks in advance.
The limits are set in your account, you can't bypass them. Limits can be found on the OP for both PM'ing and posting. If you're going to post burst and post nonsense though, that could get your account banned.

For now, I know that Namecheap which is known for selling domains, SSL certificates, hostings etc. and Newegg for electronics are going to have some good discounts on Black Friday and they both accept Bitcoin. Any other services that you're aware of? Accepting Bitcoin:Overstock (Furniture, clothes etc.) Newegg (Electronics, Computer parts etc.) NameCheap (Domain names, hosting etc.) Ledger nano S (Hardware wallet - 30% off If you buy 3 - 20% If you buy 2.) KeepKey (25% OFF). PUREVPN ( 27% & 73% OFF / 88% OFF). TradingView (40% - 60% OFF). SCAN [UK]Hostinger-- I never heard of these services Bees Brothers - 20% off when buying with Bitcoin + Altcoins Zen Magnets - 20% off their Zen Triumph magnet set Hosterbox - 50% off all web hosting plans Not accepting bitcoin:Nike, Adidas, Amazon, BestBuy, Macy's, Target are all services that currently Black Friday offers. They do not accept bitcoin directly, so you'll have to use Bitrefill.comand buy gift cards from them.

As you said, that guy is not to be trusted, the way he's talking with is clearly not a way someone who created something as bitcoin would talk with, he's not driven by passion but by greed.
I'm pretty sure he's talking nonsense. If there were such a flaw that could destroy bitcoin, with this big community we have, it would've been found by now so yeah, pretty much spreading FUD.

KuCoin, Okex, Coinex conduct voting contests for free listing of coins.
If you're referring to voting then that could actually cost much more unless he has a really strong userbase and once again, If he did have that, he wouldn't find any issues listing his coin and without caring much about the fees.

I was thinking about advertising a product that I'm currently creating and wanted to know what is the best place to do it? (excluding the forums).
I know that CoinMarketCap asks for a lot so I thought about giving Etherscan.io a go but apparently, the price is not disclosed until they agree to put your ad so, does anyone have an idea about the pricing?

If you're interested in knowing everything whether It's important or not then I guess going with BitcoinMagazine, Bitcoinist, Coindesk and similar news sites is fine.
However, If you just want to keep an eye on only important things, I highly suggest subscribing to subreddits as suggested above.

A close person to me has asked to create what's called a dead man's switch. When he passes away, his bitcoins will be sent to specific addresses. I know that some people will suggest printing the private keys or giving the seed in his will etc. but that's out of the question in this case.
The funds are under his full control and he has the private keys. How would you suggest me to create this? I'm not really familiar with dealing with commands and bitcoind but I was thinking about getting multiple servers and run bitcoind and then create a program to interact with it?

I honestly don't understand how people get into these sites into the first place because I googled the domain name and literally couldn't find any result. The domain name is almost 1 year old and they only have ~30 unique visitors per day. I wouldn't expect much If I were you.
I haven't made an account because I don't want to provide my phone number but the part about "investing" makes me think that it's a ponzi scheme as well. Can you explain how the process works?

Have you had any success since starting this post?
LocalCoin has now debit cards, both virtual and physical and you don't need to verify your identity either. It's only available for Canadians as of writing this post.

I've seen a lot of people having an issue going from the old blockchain to the new one. I've never tried this tool but I've seen someone suggesting it in Reddit so you may want to give it a try: https://github.com/prof7bit/wallet-key-tool/releases with the password, you should be able to read that file.

It's not that stable right now but there are definitely reputable services such as Bitrefill, TorGuard etc. that are accepting Lightning network payments. You can have an idea about the overall progress here. We've also got a lot of wallets (Eclair and Zap are the best from my personal opinion) but they're not easy to set up, at least not as easy as Electrum for example. The reason behind that is that developers are focusing on having a working product so the user experience is not really much of a priority right now.

Developers could remain anonymous and keep building great things for the community. There is nothing they could do about it, more and more decentralized exchanges are coming out and Atomic swap is also coming. Besides, I doubt SEC could do anything to anyone outside the U.S.

I wouldn't be surprised If they do that, that exchange is almost as unprofessional as YoBit but it doesn't make sense to delist coins in the first place, the team is unknown they could just run away with funds.
I'm also not sure how a full month is not enough, by the way, an exchange is supposed to be for trading and not holding your funds so If you leave your coins there for that long, it means you don't really care.

We've actually have a list of the designers on the forums. Just check the ANN threads and see which one you like the most. If I had to choose one, personally, I would go with SFR10.

wait i am still confused. so can you only gain 1 activity score each day? what’s the minimum amount of time it takes to become a full member?
You gain a maximum of 14 activity per two weeks period so If you have activity = posts and you post 14 more in a day, you'll get all the activity points in one day. As for the minimum period to become a Full member then that's 4.5 months as long as you have the required merits of course.

Hi OmegaStarScream, I followed the instructions (address above) using VirWoX, ie bitcoin (£5.10 worth) to VirWoX. Exchange to SLL then to $5 USD (still have SLL = 207.16), USD withdrawn to Paypal = $3.90 USD. All seems well so far. Will check tomorrow to see if Paypal account still up and running. Thank you again. As you will notice though, there will be limits which will only fade away after a period of time (few months) and the fees are not the best either but apart from that, It's a very reputable site. I still suggest trading with trusted individuals If you want to make this as profitable as possible
