5041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 18, 2020, 09:59:36 PM
I am not saying it's necessary but if the organization find it reasonable to change the logo for Kobe then they will do.
Of course it will all start with the fans pushing for a change and they'll like to dedicate that to Kobe and if that would come in reality, they'll be happy including me as I am also a Kobe fan.

Kobe is a legend, he is way better than any other active players in the NBA now, even against Lebron, I still find Kobe better and I think he is the only one who is comparably close to Jordan when it comes to talent in basketball.

The fact that you insert LeBron and any other players in the discussion as the reason for that to happen, this makes the whole Kobe-changed logo not making sense, unnecessary, baseless and pointless.

It's not just because of the performance nor achievements or even Kobe is the most talented player in the NBA that the logo should be changed after him.

Kobe's die-hard fans should understand that changing the logo is not as easy as 1,2,3 and shouldn't be push nor make it as a petition fan-based. Why this brought up in the first place? To honor Kobe? Good point above, how about Jordan? Magic? Chamberlain? The other greats that contribute to the legacy of the NBA?

Kobe will surely not be happy about this. As for him, there are other greats he respected that should be placed there first before him. Maybe someday he will be considered but not this time.

I think logo is something much more than Jerry West, even he himself says it is not him and NBA claims it is not him (although we all know it is definitely him) if you attach logo to just one player that would be really not justice to everyone who plays or played. What happens if Lebron dies tomorrow? Will you change logo from kobe to lebron? What happens if MJ dies? Will you change it to MJ air logo? Long story short, even tho it is right now based on a "player" we all know, the logo official doesn't say who it is, doesn't pay royalty or anything and basically it is just a guy dribbling and thats it, putting a name on it would be very very tough and would hurt a lot of other people. Naming Kobe after the all-star MVP is big enough, I suggest keeping that every year and keep it that way instead of doing anything else.
True. Everyone is just emotional with the sudden loss that is why they want to change the logo to Kobe. There lots of ways to honor Kobe but I think changing NBA logo is not one of them.

5042  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need to be more cautious than ever on: February 18, 2020, 09:29:49 PM
Guys, It's time we need to be more cautious and avoid panic sell or massive buy we might see more of these market fluctuations which might be tempting as well as bothering. Please consider a broader picture before making any decision and consult with fellow peers rather than falling for a bull trap or panic sell, lets learn from our mistakes we made in the past.

Easier said than done. You will just realize what's the best thing to do "after" you execute something.

Isn't it basic already to do those things? For me, I will let them deal with what they think is right, for them to see the actual result of what they did, win or loss, regret or not, disappointment or not, etc.

Without those mistakes, people will never be used to it.

And take note, recent price movements can't be considered as having a bull run nor panic sell.

Magkano ba ang ginastos mo so far para dyan bro? Maganda un inisip niyo Smiley
- Pwede rin in the future na mag expand sa car wash (parking at car wash), kahit ang madadagdagan na space is pang isang SUV lang, pwede na un...

Ui bro, it's been a while. Smiley

Bawat street meron.

In general, di puwede mag-rely sa bitcoin as pure investment tapos maghintay ng bull run at moon price. Walang galawan kasi dapat yan para worth it ang ipon.

Ang investment is di nirerely sa purong swerte. Work on it.

I can't find his stats with NLEX but I think he wasn't doing well with NLEX compared to his previous team, but in TNT I am also optimistic that he will be able to show his real potential and be a big help especially int he inside. He is a versatile center as he can also shoot 3 points which TNT's main weapon.

As mentioned above, he doesn't utilize well his playing time because of the import presence last conference which is common at any player playing at 4 and 5. Well, I hope that's the exact and real reason though. Here at All-Filipino, should be no excuse.

And TNT badly really needed a consistent center especially at All-Filipino as we know, they are only getting a good center or someone that can play dominant on the paint both offense and defense because of the import.
5045  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: managing capital in day trading on: February 18, 2020, 07:27:04 PM
So what do people recommend - what is an acceptable amount to put into tradres and how do I calculate that and what is a good stop loss percentage

Even you tell us your story and the preview of what will be your management plan, you are the only one who can determine the "amount" needed to put on trades.

My suggestion is, make a test run. Allocate some of your funds on trade and do what's on your mind how to manage it. See if it will become effective in the long-run. Surely along the way, changes will be made. Just try and try until you make a strategy that can deal with your concern.

People really need to risks something to know if it's worth it or not. Of course, don't just take risks without proper analysis. Put a serious approach anytime and focus. Day trading isn't as simple as other thinks.
5046  Economy / Gambling / Re: UK Gambling Commission mysteriously suspends Matchbook casino licence on: February 18, 2020, 03:27:49 AM

UK Gambling Commission is highly authorized and responsible to regulate gambling within their scope.

Even Matchbook has been in service for long-time, no way the commission will just issue a suspension without a valid reason. If it was disclosed, much better.

I think only a few users here use the service so I think it's not alarming. And besides, it's just a temporary suspension and all users are allowed to withdraw their funds.
5047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 18, 2020, 02:23:49 AM

I've just learned that it's Chris Paul who proposed that kind of format to NBA All-Star to make it more competitive and no doubt, it's effective. Not the whole format in general but the thing called "Elan Ending". Though it did not follow the original score that should be added to the leading scorer after 3 quarters, as we know the +24 is a tribute to Kobe Bryant.

...hopefully next all star it would be the team Giannis who would win and he well finally get an MVP award though.

Actually Giannis put a pride building his roster even last year. He can form a much better roster during the draft. It looks like he wanted to picks those underrated players for them to be recognized as a winning team against the most superstars. It surely a big achievement if that happens. But overall, both lineups are undoubtedly strong.

Next All-Star Game, if the Captain mode will still implement, I think he will get a shot again on being a Captain but Steph Curry will surely be included now on the voting list next year. As we know, Steph and LeBron always make it to the top in gathering All-Star votes. The reason they become the first captains in the changed format after East vs West series. I do hope LeBron got the 3rd place next year for a change lol although likely it won't happen for the next 1-2 seasons I believed.
5048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't be a hypocrite and admit that you are a gambler on: February 18, 2020, 01:06:22 AM
Gambling should be for fun, not for getting rich.

I don't expect a rich-scheme in gambling nor treat gambling as a primary source of income but I don't have a mindset that gambling must be treated for fun. Unlike others that always say that they are gambling just for fun, I'm different as I treat my gambling activity seriously since I'm risking my funds here.

In each of my gambling sessions or quick match, whether in crypto or outside, I'm making sure that I do my best in terms of analyzations that I will hit those winnings. In sports betting, everything must be approached seriously. If I win, that's more fun compared to just doing gambling purely because everyone wants to make fun out of it. And besides, I loved this form of gambling and I'm involved in sports betting for almost over a decade now.

I'm not really into the idea of gambling for fun. There are lots of ways to have fun so why should I do that in gambling. That's a "BIG NO" for me, no offense to others (as people don't have to be offended in the first place as we have different preferences). But honestly, even people admitted or not that they are gamblers, I don't see what's big deal on that. We should have a mind instead of our own business.

And about the topic subject, it's not appropriate to compare the literal gambling activity where people risk money and the form of gambling in the real-world that people deal with their daily lives. How come those things should be correlated.
5049  Economy / Gambling / Re: 9HORSES THE BEST SLOT GAME WEBSITE on: February 18, 2020, 12:27:53 AM
In general, it's common to use the IP address as Sitename for some various purposes although of course, in the world of crypto-gambling it's not a good idea to introduced gambling sites like that as it's not the common nature that we see here and will just result for a bad impression.

It's not that the site was untrustworthy but:

*It's a fiat-based gambling site

*I think it's only exclusive for Indonesian citizens. If there's a possibility that people from other countries can play too I see it will be a hassle to fund their account there as the supported deposit options are way more accessible if you are on Indonesia.

*And lastly, BITCOIN or any crypto isn't supported so it's not appropriate to advertise the site here.

2 months?

Dapat aware na sila at sanay sa mga ganyang scenario as they work as a payment processor matagal na.

20 million users with more than 63,000 partner merchants tapos ganyan ang serbisyo sa chargeback lol.

Fajardo's absence makes the conference more competitive yeah Cheesy.

Yes, that's what I want to see.

No reason at all for other teams that SMB does have Fajardo.

Hopefully this won't come into reality, otherwise the more the team would be unbalance in PBA and only few teams will dominate.

I believe Columbian DYIP is far from a title contender but at least they're fun to watch now because of CJ Perez.

I'm seeing a different scenario if that trade happened.

It's not that the league will become not balance but CJ Perez talent will just be wasted here. The main core of SMB is still intact plus they also have a good bench roster. No need to add another one that will destroy the rotation. But as you know, SMB always gets what they want. I doubt SMB will also trade some part of the main core for this trade to execute.

But I like Columbian's stand regarding CJ that they will not let this guy go elsewhere.
5053  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just one place to see crypto updates? on: February 17, 2020, 10:51:22 PM

I think there is no site that will make a service like this except for price monitoring. If ever there is, to the point that will also include the up-to-date news and updates, it's pretty obvious that not all coins/tokens will be supported by these updates and newly feeds. I might be wrong though.

It's always a mandatory thing to do that if you hold lots of coins/tokens, you need to be involved in their community regularly for updates. It's not a hassle if you think most of these coins will be useful someday. I see no problem if you will check their community 2 to 3 times a week or honestly even once. It's still better to read the feedbacks of your fellow holders about a certain update,

How many different coins/tokens we are talking about here? Are you sure all of this is still active in development? You can sort those out by picking only those who are active so it will not waste your time checking all of them on a regular basis. And how about subscribing to email updates at these projects so you will be notified if there's an update. At least, I believed most of the projects do have this feature on their website.
5054  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy on Friday and Sell on Monday on: February 17, 2020, 10:31:31 PM

The whole strategy was purely based on the movements happened on a specific day which isn't a good idea to act as a reference when to buy or sell.

Generally;
Buy on what you think the best time to make an entry.
Sold on what you think the best time to make an exit.

The whole crypto market is volatile. No way it will always adjust for all during Mondays and Friday. Instead of relying on that Monday thing, think of a strategy that will help us any day of the week. But if that's work for other people, then up to them to hold that market belief.
5055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do some gamblers actually win? on: February 17, 2020, 10:04:38 PM
We all read threads where people say that it is impossible to win against the house because the edge that is always against a gambler.

Let's make this clear, you can beat the house but not within a period of continuous long betting in a single session. There are certain sessions that gambler bags a profit for a day and there are some who don't. That's why it is highly advisable that in case of luck hits and a gambler won decently, calls that a day and stop and just come back next time. In this way, their bankroll will be properly managed and will keep these gamblers in the long-run.

As for the thread topic, yes gamblers actually win. Dice sites won't run for long if no one is winning. As for the stats and you can see losing stats is higher compared to winning, it is usual. Overall amount loss is not matters anymore for these regular gamblers as long as on every session, they should at least win.
5056  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: The Two Best Investment on: February 17, 2020, 09:39:35 PM
Ang "Best Invesment" is kung mapalago mo to kahit ano pang klaseng business or investment yan.

Share ko itong sa akin na sinimulan kong gawin last year.

Parking:

500 x 12 = 6,000

Car Rent:(no to self-drive!)

May mga kakilala akong tour organizer at kapag may need ng Sedan, nagpapa-recommend ako. Di naman kasi lahat ng umaalis by group kaya sayang kung rerenta sila ng SUV or VAN tapos tatlong piraso lang ang sasakay.

Php 5,000-6,000 overnight depende sa layo ng byahe. All-In. Kadalasan sa isang linggo nakaka 3 byahe ako. Puwedeng-puwede na. Bihira rin mabakante lalo nung Nov-Dec. Tapos ngayong summer sigurado banatan na naman. Nakakapagod man dahil traffic paglabas at pagpasok ng Manila ok lang. Wala naman work na di nakakapagod. Cheesy

5057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 17, 2020, 09:11:10 PM

The All-Star Game is great overall.

Still, for entertainment purposes but they really played hard especially in the last quarter. You can see anyone playing defense seriously. That's what the entertainment that everyone wants to see and not just for a show.

Here are the highlights that I'm really amazed

*Devin Booker follow-up dunk (although he is just a replacement, I consider him as an All-Star already the way he
*Alley-oop to Chris Paul
*Kawhi Leonards aggressiveness (this is not his usual in the past All-Star game)
*Antetokounmpo's defense. He really challenged and contest most of the inside attempts by Team LeBron
*Trae Young's nice assist to Gobert. (2-3 times? If I'm not mistaken)
*Ben Simmons and Jayson Tatum athleticism

I don't know why both teams exclude the starters Trae Young and Luka Doncic to play in the deciding situation. It's always been a usual practice that those starters will play at the closing game. Instead, Kyle Lowry (Team Giannis) and Chris Paul (Team LeBron) played. Both teams played as a veteran group. Well, no worries to me as from now on, fans should expect these 2 youngsters will always be present every All-Star game.
5058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 15, 2020, 11:56:05 PM
SMB is a powerhouse team but people think that they are more successful because of June Mar Fajardo, not they have to prove that they are not only relying on June Mar to win. if you remember their historic run in the past where they are down 0-3 against Alaska, but when Fajardo came back to play, SMB win the Finals with a series score of 4-3, so that alone would say how big Fajardo's contribution to the team.

That's why the upcoming season is a great opportunity for SMB to silence the critics that they are just relying on Fajardo every All-Filipino Cup.

But roster basis if we compare to all teams, SMB is still on top. They have the most powerhouse cast in their roster lineup in the league. I don't see Fajardo's absence as a disadvantage too but it opens a more competitive match which the majority here wants.

Compare before that SMB is the sure favorites to win the All-Filipino Cup, it now becomes unpredictable.

I wonder what sports betting site does have an outright betting for PBA futures. Want to check how the odds will be provided or OP, how about considering a mutual betting for PBA All-Filipino Cup Champion? Although it will take several months for the outcome.
5059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among us here has been addicted but successfully cured addiction? on: February 15, 2020, 11:24:28 PM
I read that there are people who are addicted in gambling but they are successfully cured from addiction, I'm interested to know what are the methods they do in order to get cured from such addiction, I use the word cured because gambling is a serious problem, I call it as a disease, so please share you experience so we can also help those who might have been experiencing an addiction right now.

Solutions and methods vary per person. As we know, it will all depend on a Gambler's behavior and on what level they are now from being addicted.

For those who are still in control, they just need to force themselves to be a responsible gambler. I don't see any wrong from being a gambling addict as long as it doesn't affect their daily lives, do have a stable source of income, have time on their loved ones, can still do social activities or in general, still a better person at the end.

For those who are still in control but can't resist doing gambling even it now truly affects their daily lives, they need to find other activities to spend time on. It's hard being under a situation like this but since they know what's happening, they need to force themselves to make a change. They are the only one who can help themselves.

For those gamblers who are in the worst level of being addicted, to the point that they steal just to gamble, they sold some of their precious belongings, totally wrecked, they can't help themselves now and they now need help and guidance from others. At most of the countries, there are rehabilitation centers designed for those persons that become a gambling addict. With the help of families, friends, and love-ones, these gamblers will be back to themselves after a certain period of time.
