You are not going to repay this loan. This is a disguised sale:

In this thread, you are clearly trying to sell the collateral that you are offering (which is probably a crappy ponzi). Furthermore, the fact that you are but a Jr. Member means that you have little to nothing to lose if you do decide to default -- which you most likely will.

Not to mention that you don't have a reason for this.

I will answer you directly, as you continue to say that I've removed 1BTC from the account. Just a rhetoric question, do you always think people are lying to you?
I would continue to state that since there is no need to keep the 1 BTC in the account, that you may have removed it.

The reason it is there because I said so and actually credited him 1BTC. I do not care anymore about that 1 BTC as it has been spent on marketing. So unless you want to say I'm lying, I'm asking you to stop spreading misleading comments.

You may assume they are misleading and you can consider me as someone who is senselessly spreading FUD -- though by stating that no one would know the difference if you removed it or not simply attests to the fact that your security would likely be sufficient to hold off anybody outside of staff.

Regarding general security on BitDice. As Steven already replied, it's more a marketing event, we show users that they are safe EVEN when they do not care about it. And no, email isn't a single point of failure as users can set actual 2FA, IP Lock, and Address Lock. You can not remove nor sign in without turning off 2FA or IP lock even if you have access to the email.

I understand this, acknowledge the fact that this is for marketing, and have previously stated this:

And people would find out the email how exactly? Keep in mind that both email authentication and 2FA are possibilities for security reinforcement on the site - email is just on by default. And hey, if the email password is the same... then that's the user's fault.

and it's fine! I'm glad that you have email authentication (for foreign IP's, I assume) enabled by default. That shows good service in the case where your consumers care about convenience but you are still willing to implement some security to protect them. (** and also allows you to defend more easily against "hacked account" claims)

All I was proposing was the fact that you would have been able to do this marketing for free. I'm not saying your site isn't reputable -- just that this is simply a PR thing and could have just as easily been on an account with a balance of 0. Do you agree?

no hard feelings, not trying to make enemies here

I'm almost there to giving you this loan, but I need these things from you:

Reason for loan
Way you intend to repay loan

After you provide those I'll probably be more than happy to send you the 0.02 BTC.

5051  Economy / Lending / Re: Anyone lend me or partner with me for 1.77BTC on: December 22, 2016, 01:00:45 AM
Remind me to send you some games when this is over, i will raise the funds somehow. i always knew it was a long shot, but i'm not gon give up. i just hope you will be mature enough to realize how ridiculous you've been and apologize to me and others you've indirectly prevented from making money with your cynicisms when the time comes. Thanks

Let's think about it for a second: if you are advertising up to 800x odds (which is absolutely insane) and the price is only 1.77 BTC, that means that I only have to pop down a 0.0022125 BTC bet (less than two dollars) to break even.

Do you see how ridiculous this seems? Not only this, but you still haven't answered my question - why don't you take a loan from someone you know physically? (Or anywhere that is willing to offer you a loan of 1.5 grand? (*USD)

Even in the instance where the odds are lower, ~2.5x or so, you would be able to make a significant return and afford the results yourself. So why haven't you done this earlier?

After all, even with something like a massive 20% interest, all you need to do is put down an extra few nickels and dimes with the huge odds. Another thing: how do you intend to make money off of the "lender's" purchase? If the lender is willing to buy the match results, why would they bother sharing it with you?

And even if they do, how much are you really gambling with here? Say the odds aren't the huge 800x. What if they're somewhere like 3x? How much are you gambling where you will be able to afford your own "gigs" after this?

In reality, what you're doing isn't really even a "loan" (unless you intend to repay it somehow) but is instead pretty much you straight-up selling us "fixed match odds".

I will pretend i didn't see this. I'm a business man. Could recommend BTC-Asia, coinb.in, escrowmybits among others. If you are game then lets do this.

Like I mentioned previously, you have literally nothing to lose if the results are incorrect. No reputation, no money, nothing of importance.
5052  Other / Meta / Re: Dear signature spammers... (or account farmers.) -- Read the STATS inside. on: December 22, 2016, 12:46:37 AM
This makes me wonder what age these sig participants are. Maybe they're too young for a fast food job or their still in school.

Age shouldn't matter. I'm still in school too, and I'm barely old enough for a job. Does that mean I make shitty posts all over a "high quality" forum for a few cents? The reason these people will never make a HIGH amount of money like you or I is because they would slave away for 1 cent. Just go to the services section and you'll see. Anyway, if they're too young for a job then wouldn't they have other things to worry about than spamming for a few cents? It encourages a bad type of pattern for them, and it's possible they'll get into bad habits like gambling.

Thinking about it, the internet right now is able to promise a lot of opportunities if you're unable to find a job in your local area. Think about software projects or graphic design tasks for example -- how easy is it to connect to others online? How easy is it to learn something that you can use as a skill, as a job for your future?

Then... why don't people do it? Laziness.

Signature campaigns offer the lazy man an easy way to gain money... unfortunately. And due to this, there's exploitation and farmed accounts start spawning. Why would you bother working hard, going through lots of work to learn about something when you can simply go onto the internet every day and recycle crap?

You can simply look at a couple recent posts, spout the same thing, and boom! Instant cash. Another problem with this is that these campaigns are usually linked to gambling - which is what participants may use it on (if they're not struggling for cash... or sometimes even when they are). Easy come, easy go.

If someone REALLY is desperate for employment, they should learn to program and try to work online in that field. It's easy enough (to pick up) and rewards dedication. As opposed to shitposting, I think it's a far better career choice.
5053  Economy / Lending / Re: Anyone lend me or partner with me for 1.77BTC on: December 22, 2016, 12:10:46 AM
Seems kind of stupid given that the lender would have to risk their funds based purely on your word that a match was fixed. It's not to say that you don't have the possibility of being legitimate, but 1.77 BTC is a lot of money, and you would have to put down a near-equal amount to make any profit off of the bet.

Along with this, if the match result is not what you promised, who loses out? The lender - who also has to gamble with their coins. This is at best a shady investment.

Here: /kyPeiE]https://blockchain.info/tx/64a7a4a543239bed3c4d9dd814bda2ed6935f86a1a91560129f2d12c19a9e2d0
Don't be in a hurry to ridicule me. if you stake $500 on 800+ odd games. Do the maths. $500x800 odds. the 1.77BTC is nothing compared to the winnings. Its huge. If you are a punter then you would understand where i'm headed. I just need one person only to partner with me. If i had thecoins, i won't want to divulge this closely guarded secret. If you have the money, trust me and lets do it. The vendor can't have access to your money until after the games. You are protected.

Why not simply get a loan from outside of the internet? Roll Eyes
After all, since you're so sure that you're going to win (and at these huge odds) you would OBVIOUSLY be able to recover the loan amount and repay the lender as soon as the bet is won, right?

And please - if the fixed games are at such ridiculously high odds, then wouldn't the price of seeing the result be much higher than a measly 1.77 BTC? It would be more in the realms of tens of bitcoins!
5054  Economy / Lending / Re: Anyone lend me or partner with me for 1.77BTC on: December 21, 2016, 11:43:41 PM

5055  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hack Into BitDice And Get 1BTC! on: December 21, 2016, 11:39:02 PM
Yes it only seems they have email authentication system like few sites and specially blockchain and yobit have right now. However that simple process can add great security feature to any platform.

The security should be a given. At the very least there should be email authentication.

But there is also no point to remove it from that account, by keeping that 1 btc in that account and giving username password combo they are trying to attract more users to play in their platform which i have never seen done by any other gambling platform before.

Are you stupid? Who would even know the difference? This is just to advertise their security. Keeping a bitcoin in the account is completely pointless. Though, even if they did keep the bitcoin in there they could just simply block all withdrawal/tip requests from the account.

Yeah, I suppose its not really a "promo" per se and is designed to show off the security features of the site. However, the 1 BTC reward acts as a bounty if someone did manage to get in the account. Nobody would know if they removed it unless someone managed to get into the account. While unlikely, it is possible someone manages to find a bug or something. There is really no reason for them to prematurely remove the 1 BTC either. I'm sure after a certain length of time has passed, they will publicly state they are removing it if no one was successful in accessing it.

And you're rewarding someone that exploits security flaws? Roll Eyes
The only real reason you might want to keep funds in there is in case there /are/ flaws - someone who exploited them would probably withdraw the bitcoins and then you can close and investigate the site.

... but why go through the trouble of "purchasing" insurance when in reality you can just remove the 'reward' and monitor the account activity (with IP connections)? And it's also more likely that if someone found a security vulnerability, they would go after whales instead of a measly 1 BTC.

Even if they did remove it, all you need to do is to show the screenshot of yourself manage to get into the account and they will still credit your account with 1 btc given that they havent end this event yet however pretty sure that they wont end it , just showcassing this actually give the site some credibility

Why would they bother crediting someone?

... and in the case of screenshots as proof, I'll leave it at this: Photoshop has existed for a very long time.

Wtf. So you have 2FA? That's your big gimmick as to why I should gamble with you? This is poor at best. A lot of people use the same passwords everywhere even h they know they shouldn't, so this isn't saying you have good security, it's just that you have 2FA. It's good, but if the email password is the same it's useless.

And people would find out the email how exactly? Keep in mind that both email authentication and 2FA are possibilities for security reinforcement on the site - email is just on by default. And hey, if the email password is the same... then that's the user's fault.

You are totally right: unused addresses wont link over there. I just checked with a fresh one and it says "Address 15FsNoLgZg9FgkKhVFhjnYEsoD3o8d4yCg not found. Note that database is not online; if address was used too recently, then is cannot be in our database yet."

You'll never be able to link a Paper Wallet, much less a vanity wallet address that hasn't been imported into a wallet. (even on using a part public key) unless it has some outgoing connections.

AFAIK the only way one can link wallet addresses to one another is when their inputs are used in a single transaction -- example is if I use an input from 1Act... as well as 1PNG... to send bitcoins to a single output. Otherwise I don't think there's any way to link them. (correct me if I'm wrong)

If you're smart about it and only use inputs from distinct addresses there is no way to link them. Right?

Keep in mind if a newbie registers right on the brink of an activity period change and posts once before the next, then the newbie can theoretically upgrade to a Jr. Member in only 4 weeks + a few minutes.

Now it's proven you've tendencies to lie.And you're a fortunejack shit poster which is why I started finding your alts.

I guess he used the forum search so I guess he might have been checking for address only.
No,I actually compare post history/social network connections etc because accounts could be sold.

Joel, your connection is faulty.

Firstly, you're quoting instances of bering stating their own address, which is  1GZFowyJStpTapktmEGBBY5s1xZAcksHav. This is since Omikifuse posted only after bering did, and not the other way around. Along with that, Omikifuse had stated that they posted the wrong address.

However, even if Omikifuse did not post that (or they lied) there is ONLY a connection from Omikifuse to bering, but not vice versa.

All the negative history of bering should be transferred to Omikifuse if they are linked, but not the other way around. The reason for this is simple: if a scammer were to post a person's address, is it correct to link the non-scammer to the scammer? No. But if it were the other way around, where I for example post that my address is a scammer's, then I should be linked to the scammer's past history... but not the other way around (unless it's incredibly likely).
