5041  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need more examples of decentralized exchanges on: July 14, 2020, 10:02:15 PM
It was to know that most exchanges now are requiring to do KYC for verification especially when you are holding a lot of coins. It is in the sad reality but this is to give some safety as the owner of the wallet and not be used by the other person.

I know we take care of our privacy and we live that thing but couldn't have something to do if they all require us to do so otherwise, we live crypto. There are still a few exchanges that need no KYC but don't get wonder why people aren't using those because of security issues. Well, that has to choose security or privacy, and that certainly it depends on you.

5042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Upgrade Stole My Bitcoin on: July 14, 2020, 09:43:57 PM
3.5 BTC is pretty big and how lucky that scammers to get it. Scammers will use different tricks just to catch their prey and the sad thing is that you are one of those prey. It is really sad and we felt it and this is one of the disadvantages of crypto, you can't recover it anymore. Even though a lot of similar things happening around but then, many were still investing Bitcoin and ain't give them a big reason to quite. They are learning their past bad experience and that quitting is not a way to get it back.
5043  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Signal Trading work for Cryptocurrencies on: July 14, 2020, 05:26:33 PM
I understand that most new traders had fallen into this kind of trick, relying on trading signals pretending that it works perfectly (or at least). This is just lying sentiment and can't be true at all. I know that signal is a tool for trading but you can't just rely upon it. We know that we are in volatility, price isn't predictable, and that to think that this will never work as well. Because in the first place, why people will share their signals if they can benefit from it, why keeping it own for they are also in trading. It is that simple that we want people to buy it and take advantage.
This is how whales manipulate the market, you can be their prey if you will follow them.
5044  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we headed for 250k btc in 12-18 months? on: July 14, 2020, 05:04:50 PM
It is possible that Bitcoin price reach $250k, but it will soon after that drop under $100k. Also I would speculate that more possible time frame is 24 months and not 12-18.
The same pattern as it did with its past all time highs. $250k is such a huge amount to think of and IIRC, there's one famous crypto guy that has predicted this, Tim Draper.
2017 Bullrun had made this person become famous as he perfectly projected it but I don't think he gonna be right again this time. $250k is really high and never in mind to think we can reach it, maybe $50k is close to reality than this. However, it was him to project and give his optimistic speculation (and I believe we all that the same) and it's up to us to draw any conclusions as anyone can make their opinion as well. But just to say that it looks impossible and never have to expect for it.
5045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Back then and Now, lesson learnt on: July 13, 2020, 11:25:33 PM
the reason why people fall prey for minning coins is because of easy access and projects usually use it to get more people engaged as its free. majority of the newbies dont know that the real profitable mining comes with real investment while the regular mining with computer takes longer time to bring anything reasonable.
You got it wrong, you're making mining sounds like a trap, new coins have less difficulty rate, ethereum was once so easy to mine, OP chooses wrong coins, I can name few new altcoins in 2018 to 2019 that still have good value till date like Havven, Loki, dero, electroneum and many more, if you can mine them very early you will have many quantities of the coin
Mining is very easy work to do if we have enough space, but it will be sad if you choose a scam coin. Earlier in the day, most of the coins were easier to mine, even Ethereum. I have had enough experience with these Electroneum and Hdac coins but I didn't mine. The next plan is mining but only top coins Ethereum ( Before launch Ethereum 2.0 ) and Bitcoin.
With relevant to the current situation, I would say that mining, especially for altcoins it seems to have a big risk and most probably having a losing ends. To know that mining is not really profitable this time, in fact, a lot of mining industries had to stop their operation because of their huge expenses and more on losses. Quite to say that it is much better to be just holding potential coins rather than to take the risk in mining that obviously we got nothing in the end. We're not supposed to think that way, we wanted to make money not to lose it either.

Well, that would be the best option before but taking into account that the trend is changing and we really know the harsh situation, how was impossible to generate income with that. No nothing.
5046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Check and select good Gaswei for your needs on: July 13, 2020, 10:54:52 PM
It's an informative thread most especially to the newbie bounty hunters that commonly they are using Eth for token gas upon selling.

Gwei is a short term for "gigawei" and "wei" the last part which means the smallest unit of Eth. Just like Bitcoin, there is satoshi for the smallest unit.

So, 1 Eth is equal to 1,000,000,000 gwei.

Op, here is the Denominations of Ethereum.

My source.

Really a big help not only for a newbie for all of us because I know that not all of us knew about Gwei and how this been used wisely to save some in doing a transfer. And I have to accept myself that not even so familiar to this denomination but only I have to set directly to low fees when sending ETH to another wallet. But I have noticed that 4Gwei is the smallest allowable amount to use (correct me if I'm wrong) because usually, I set on that amount almost of my transaction and I don't have any problem.

Confirmation may have some delays due to heavy network traffic but still, it arrives at its destination, but if you want to move it faster then we'll have to make it high.
5047  Economy / Speculation / Re: TA indicates a bull run is coming on: July 13, 2020, 09:57:41 PM
snipped~
You got it wrong pal, Technical analysis and speculation are different. When it come to technical analysis, you rely on price action, structure, trend and volume unlike speculation is just an opinion or prediction on what will happen to the price. It is better to rely on technical analysis than on speculation because technical analysis can give you legit data and information that you need in your planning stage.

I rely on technical analysis when I do trading because it is working for me, I tried to use before fundamental and sentiment analysis but it doesn't work on me and I incurred huge losses. I do not say technical analysis is better and I only saying that it is the analysis that is suitable for me. There are still no signs that a major bull run will happen, the price is still consolidating and it requires massive volume in order to surpass its current resistance levels.
Maybe I am wrong and meant not to use TA because it is not working for me but to ask you where are your legit data coming from? Last year or last month? I'm sure it is not for the incoming because it could just fall into speculation, not TA anymore. And I'm sure you can't say that what happens last year or even last month will also happen today and in the coming days. Definitely, there is is a big difference as we are in the volatility market, keeping in mind that crypto is only just a speculative market, nothing will know what will happen in the future that makes me stand that TA's can't be truly effective.
5048  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will we stand at the end of pandemic? on: July 13, 2020, 11:37:46 AM
As of now crypto is surviving this harsh period wherein we have seen Bitcoin doing better han expected and same goes with altcoins as well but where will we find ourself at the end of pandemic? If the situation worsens do you think we will get more investment from newbies who might by switching from their traditional investment to a crypto as none of the businesses are going to prosper during this situation so there are chances we will get more investment into crypto or else there are possibilities of massive cashout if crypto decline as the existing players would switch to gold atleast to keep their investment intact.

Kindly share your suggestions
Scam and Ponzi scheme looks so aggressive this time as they took advantage over those young minds and no-how investors switching into their crypto journey. Things we can't deny that most of them had been a victim of this trick and to say that this is actually hard for beginners.

We surely don't know when this pandemic will have its ends but then, I don't think crypto will just only be the last option to make money in this hardest situation. I know the crypto investment is really profitable but of high-risk, and it also requires deep market understanding which is not really advisable for now-how investors.
5049  Economy / Speculation / Re: TA indicates a bull run is coming on: July 12, 2020, 11:53:42 PM
TBH, I don't really rely on TA's because all of these are just speculations and we are in speculative market things that we are in uncertain of what will happen next. We can draw any speculations base of what we understand the current behavior and all of these things, Bullrun is quite impossible this year and we can feel it.

I was closely checking on the market situation and seems not able to see a huge market demand that could trigger something explosive but it remains calmly as it was in the past days. I don't want to be more optimistic this time for the reason that it was only a tin chance to make it runs.
Anyway, I was satisfied already for the current price.
5050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get moved by fake good news on: July 12, 2020, 11:30:54 PM
You are browsing through Twitter or telegram and you come in contact with news like this '𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙨𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝  Mr George Anderson ịt has been a life changing experience and a God sent to humanity 𝙞𝙣𝙗𝙤𝙭 𝙝im 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙖 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚'
Join link???

When ever you come across such it's a total scam, it's never real to begin with, it's just a fake good news to lure you into a trap, do not bother to read

The fact is people who make it big aren't always ready to share news about how they do it
If you already have knowledge in crypto and knows about the situation, you can't let that stupid attempt to scam you. It was really attempting to hear that SUCCESS words but have to think about how this person will tell others and let them do the same. He might able to make a story of his own on a separate page rather than to ask people to inbox him and send a message "HOW'? That is sounded like he wants you to fall on his trap.
It is happening around, scammers will find a way and strategical enough to brag people by their scripted and articulated SUCCESS story. I hope others will be more vigilant about this scheme.
5051  Economy / Economics / Re: Rise in US unemployment. Thoughts? on: July 12, 2020, 10:21:56 PM
It was a big struggle and headache for all the leaders in every country who have been facing the killing virus this time. It was just to say that the US isn't the only country that suffered the most as their unemployment rate increase but also from the others. We know how important to protect the economic status of our country but much more difficult if we just ignore the spread of the virus and just sacrifice the life of the people. The declining growth of the economy in almost all country have urge to cut some employees and bringing to that scenario. That was really hard but nothing to do it because it was also a big loss for the company if they still accommodate their workers.
5052  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading using someone else's funds on: July 12, 2020, 09:50:37 PM
If you have enough money to funds your trading carrier much better to make it alone. In fact, $10,000 is big enough to generate profit in trading that makes no need to get some loan or to have your friend's money. If we assume that you use your friend's money but I don't agree for 50/50 split, it gonna be more share for your side than in your friend because you are the one working in it.
However, these things are not really a good idea...you'll say that you are a good trader which I supposed to think that you can make money pretty easy in trading and could multiply it.
5053  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin for a few...! on: July 11, 2020, 11:19:03 PM
Is Bitcoin really a thing for a few?
Why is it that so many are just aware of the term and yet still know almost nothing about it?
Do you think this has any effect on Bitcoins development?
Many people have already heard Bitcoin but unfortunately, only a few of them give the response and seek more knowledge while the others close their eyes and keep blinded not to see the best opportunity that Bitcoin has.

Remember, not all of us are open-minded people. Once they heard negativity about crypto, they keep it in general affecting the image of Bitcoin. it is somewhat hard to educate people when they close already their minds and never let it open. In that case, we can't push them either to adopt and think positive. They don't listen to the other side of Bitcoin but certainly, they are just listening in to the FUD which only leads misinformation.
5054  Local / India / Re: Cashaa hacked. 336 BTC Stolen. on: July 11, 2020, 10:50:06 PM
They let the thing happen with them without any anticipation for possible hacking and to keep their Bitcoin in safe place by simply putting it in a hard wallet. What a kind of disgrace that having this amount hasn't known about it.
Anyway, they are already putting such a claim but couldn't give assurance that their Bitcoin will turn back. That is how hacking makes sense for everyone and that is why we need to keep our wallet safe and need to anticipate for this kind of possibility especially when we are holding big amounts.
5055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency mixing services do more harm than good to blockchain technology on: July 11, 2020, 08:54:31 AM

snipped...
I think we can surmise what can be the answer to the OP's question.

This is the whole story about Bitmixer.io closure https://news.bitcoin.com/one-of-the-largest-bitcoin-mixing-services-closes-its-doors

What it gives them pressure and putting their ends because if the law enforcement hunting them down.
The sad story is that they are allowing scammer and some illegalities used the services that brought them into trouble. If they not allowing it the same thing that other mixers do, it surely they still exist at this time.

Mixing services keep an individual's privacy as to how it works but somehow gives the opportunity for the scammers to hidden. But that is not the case right now because mixing services don't allow that thing to succeed if they get noticed and having suspicious activity. They don't want to ruin their image and they also don't want to be in question by authorities which makes them still alive.
5056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: USDT to Bypass FX Control in China on: July 10, 2020, 10:37:31 PM
Don't make yourself complicated. We can think BTC is risk volatile and you are worried about that but you are in need to transfer your money, I don't think the cost is really important this time because the most important now is you can move your money (not unless if you do the sacrifice and pay taxes).

Using P2P exchange is the only option that could help you. USDT could be the best option even though the cost is high if you are afraid that the Bitcoin price will drop after you bought. You only have the choice, to buy crypto or stick into Fiat money.
5057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TikTok PUMPS Dogecoin Cryptocurrency | ÐOGE going to $1?!!! on: July 10, 2020, 12:54:56 PM
Tiktok has nothing to do with Doge to fly. And I don't that it influences the market demand and gives the interest of investors to look after Doge. Not only a joke but really amazing how the TikTok app could help.
Looking at the current price trend instead, we thought about for a rising situation but likely it sinks more and more. And thinking for $1 soon, that is really far from reality. We have to accept that Dogecoin meant almost nothing, not sure if this could have a chance to compete the others.
5058  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Those reliable exchanges on the market on: July 10, 2020, 12:12:49 PM
No wonder why Huobi keeps soaring as China turning back to crypto and the rest exchanges but that was terrible that Okex is on your top 5 list quite different from what the CoinMarketcap https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/.
But anyway, they are all been good and performing excellently. Considering the fact that these exchanges have a huge market volume, people won't let them get ignored but they choose them for trading. Popularity means a lot in crypto and traders/investors will choose those exchanges that good give their expectations and as well as giving them the assurance that their money are secured.
5059  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why hasn’t Bitcoin’s price skyrocketed? on: July 10, 2020, 09:53:29 AM
I feel someone curse the price not to move high and nobody could stop it. So what we do now is to wait for that person to let go...

What I was trying to say is that we can make the market move as we wanted and so the entire market as well. The price moves according to the market demand and we find it that it wasn't that it looks like. The people now are just holding their money rather than investing. The situation is really not good and that is how it affects the price trend. But the price isn't mattered by now, the most important is we even stay at high even though in the hard situation.
5060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Back then and Now, lesson learnt on: July 10, 2020, 09:22:46 AM
ftp://
Yeah, I have got friends who did that. They were going all-in because the coins were cheap to mine and they hoped the prices would go up in the future. And they did little or no research on those projects before putting time to mine such coins. I was almost falling into this hole. A project without a real use case is potentially a shitty project.
Likewise, people who don't understand what they are doing will actually be brought to nowhere and probably got lost. Mining is really profitable 2016-2017 because the market is already in the surge, in fact, a lot of people jump into mining. But unfortunately, it was the year (2017) that also make them suffer losses as the situation drastically out in the performance after the surge.
People are keep expecting it recovers shortly but somehow, and until today, we don't even see some glimpse of it. It was then that mining getting worse makes small mining companies getting paralyzed.
