5041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitmain on brink of bankruptcy on: September 15, 2018, 01:16:47 PM
I can't believe it they had so much revenue every year, so much additional money to spend, they were the giant. If they go bankrupt its due to their own stupidity. How can you have millions lying around and waste it all? Probably BCH costed them the most. Roger was making money selling on the side while Bitmain was pumping with their money.
Whoever sold BCH in the first 6 months of 2018 was probably taking Bitmain's $$$
5042  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How can I build communities on: September 15, 2018, 01:05:19 PM
I think that the project itself is 50% of success. If it's something great and revolutionary it's enough to explain it to people and they will come and throw money your way. There's plenty of gofundme projects that weren't advertised but became huge because people liked them and thought -why didn't I think of it?
The second 50% is mostly transparency. Be honest and build trust. People will like you.
5043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that the HODL approach is good bitcoin? on: September 15, 2018, 01:01:12 PM
Hodl is a bad approach that is preached by two kinds of people. The first kind are those who bought long ago and had huge gains without any effort. They held and it gave them money so they're telling others to hold but the price will not go up indefinitely.
The second group are bag holders who didn't sell and are telling others to hold to slow down the price decline.
5044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop allowing manipulators to switch you off and on on: September 15, 2018, 12:57:45 PM
I think it's mostly fear. People don't want to sell but they are afraid of losing value and each time Bitcoin closes to the point where they bought thay sell to save themselves. The only thing that is holding Bitcoin above 6000 is the ETF decision. People are greedy and fearful at the same time and now greed is fired up y that small spark of ETF and the rest is fear.

When the price is at the point wherein I bought it, I would not immediately sell it but I would set a percentage loss and when that price is reach I would just sell it and wait for the time when the price is looking good for buying when the volume is building up and it seems like price is consolidating. Many manipulators sometimes sell off their coins so that stop losses will be triggered and they can buy more coins.

You're right but still there will be a point somewhere right below that person's buy in point when they will sell. If the price keeps falling in a bear market and people start to sell with a 5% loss there will still be the same wave of panic sellers.
There's not much difference between 1000 people selling at 6000 or the same number selling at 5900 because they had a stop loss set below their buy point. A panic is a panic.
5045  Economy / Reputation / Re: Wtf who did this? on: September 15, 2018, 12:46:44 PM
This thread reads like a parody. OP keeps exposing his alts one by one by bumping with very similar messages and style. Can you really be this stupid?
Yes brother we support you, they were wrong to neg trust you, this should be in meta... NOT  Grin
5046  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop allowing manipulators to switch you off and on on: September 15, 2018, 11:56:25 AM
The slight decrease may be due to manipulators, but the decrease Bitcoin has been experiencing is really deep. Bitcoin is struggling to keep the price around $6000. In my opinion, the decrease is caused by both manipulators and real selling.

5047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Power Consumption on: September 15, 2018, 11:52:36 AM
owh, sure. many ways to create environmentally friendly mining, I think using solar power, waste power, hydropower will create a good mining and save more on electricity costs.

some cities in the England have used hydropower for mining.
Bitcoin mining with solar power may be less effective, but if you use hydropower it can be maximized, then is it true that in the UK it has been mining using waste, water and solar power, can I find a link about the news?

How come it will be less effective? As far as I know, using solar power is consistent as having a regular electricity. It may be less effective if your solar panel didn't get enough charge as it may affect the consistency in mining. But if you live in a tropical country wherein the temperature usually get in 40°C, this will be enough to charge the solar panel that can be use in household.

Yet still it will always depend on classification of solar panel.

The problem with solar panels is that they have to be kept clean. Dust, sand, snow, all these things make you lose efficiency. Also solar panels need a huge battery packs to be able to sustain high power miners through the night. It's much less effective than nuclear or hydro.
5048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin: Crypto, Blockchain Space Won’t See ‘1,000-Times Growth’ Again on: September 09, 2018, 09:31:28 PM
We don't need 1000%! A 500% would still be a great rise. If such a thing would happen every single coin would establish a new ATH. Wouldn't that be great? 1000% is just greedy. Vitalik is acting really bearish but if my coin would lose so much value as ETH did I'd be even more bearish than him.
5049  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You,as a trader,what do you think of Nootropics? on: September 09, 2018, 09:26:09 PM
I'm staying as far away from drugs as possible. A little coffee never hurt anyone but that's as far as I'll go.
I heard about nootropics but they work best if you have some disabilities and trouble staying awake and focusing. A healthy and smart person won't benefit from taking these pills.
5050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner's Luck on: September 09, 2018, 09:18:42 PM
I haven't experienced beginners luck and I don't believe that it exists. It's only something experienced players like to use to explain losing against someone new to the game. They blame it on this beginners luck but it by no means makes their loss smaller or less noticeable. Sometimes a beginner loses all money and sometimes he wins, games are random, there's no beginner this or that.
5051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guest Spot: Who or What Can Put an End to Bitcoin? on: September 09, 2018, 07:44:54 PM
I think that only US special services will be able to close most of the crypto currency! If they destroy crypto-currency exchanges, then the coins themselves will not be necessary to anyone. it's my opinion

Because the world revolves around the US and their special services have limitless jurisdiction Wink

The only single event that could stop Bitcoin would be the same event that would cripple the Internet. We are far beyond the point where an organization, a country or an institution can stop Bitcoin. Bitcoin can only burn out by itself. Its greatest enemy is competition.

5052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Psychological fear dominates the market on: September 09, 2018, 06:59:38 PM
right now 10%+  10%- are not hype or fear. they are just normal waves..

Are you really calling that thing that happened at the end of July a normal thing? To me it was fear at its finest. The price broke out and acted like it was about to establish a higher low and then when it corrected it didn't go half the way. It went far below the point from where it started to rise which means that people oversold. Not onl;y those who bought into that rise sold but also those who were holding at the downtrend, before it even broke out to the upside.
5053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, blockchain, technology that does miracles on: September 09, 2018, 06:54:25 PM
It is a miracle in the way that it makes the money yours in full. No agencies or banks can watch it and control it. You can do whatever you want with it. Travel around the world without declaring it or being taxed, pay whenever you like without having to wait for the bank to process the transaction. It feels great!
5054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leave Crypto? on: September 09, 2018, 06:31:27 PM
Only invest the money you have lost.

I'd change it into only invest the money you can afford to lose. The money you have lost is already gone and impossible to invest.

I can understand people who want to leave the market because they lost money. Many people do it, but if you wait long enough and get over the loss you'll want to get back into it. The faster you can deal with the loss the faster you'll start earning again.
5055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think it's a good time to buy ETH? on: September 09, 2018, 06:26:01 PM
Ethereum is one of the biggest loser in the market now, selling at less than 200$ at the moment-lowest in about a year, for me it is a good time to buy, its use has not diminished

You're of course right. Buy when there's blood in the streets. There can only be two outcomes now. RTH will go up or it will die. I don't see it going much lower from here without being completely abandoned and deemed worthless by the community. Its value represents the fear of all cryptocurrency investors but since altcoins like ETH have no real life use and adoption they are going down much faster than Bitcoin.
5056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: September 30, 2018 - SEC ETF Ruling on: September 08, 2018, 09:05:36 PM
let's see what happen. Waiting for that time when a good time will come for us. But I think ETF will not give us much hope. Although I do not know much about this topics so, I have to know more about this.

I think that they will postpone it again. Some institutions are still creating their coin portfolios and they know that approving the ETFs would end the bear market. They will dfo what they can to make the bear market last until 2019 and the SEC can help them achieve it by approving CBOE in the last possible term which is March 2019.
5057  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin and Taxes on: September 08, 2018, 09:01:13 PM
I don't really agree with declaring our crypto assets because I know that some governments would tend to manipulate it. The idea of bitcoin is having a decentralized transactions, and that's what we deserve to preserve.

Of course they will use it for their own advantage. If you declare your coins they can demand proof of ownership like an address. If they get your addresses this will be like signing the coins with your name. If those coins ever end up in the hands of criminals they will harass you and demand to be given the list of all your payments and clients. No thank you!
5058  Economy / Speculation / Re: will the price of the bitcoin will reach so high that no one can buy it ? on: September 08, 2018, 08:32:07 PM
Even if it was a 1 million dollar bitcoin, you would still be able to buy it. Not many people would be able to afford a million dollar bitcoin but some would.
Why would you want to buy a full bitcoin anyway? It doesn't change anything because your value will be held in that portion of the coin, even if it's a single satoshi.
5059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Market indicators indicate a reversal of the bitcoin trend. on: September 08, 2018, 08:28:39 PM

I think we are still in a bear trend, at this time Bitcoin price showed it. Price is fluctuating between $6k to $7k. it will go up immediately. it will grow up more than $8k.

I think that we are still in a bear trend, Bitcoin price showed it. Price is fluctuating between 6k and 7.500$.  I do believe we'll quickly head up to $10,000 again.
Why did you copy the other person's post? This will get you banned one day, idiot.

There was supposed to be a reversal, but we got dumped on, so I believe we'll have to wait for the fundamentals to push us through as the technicals aren't cutting it.
5060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government announce bitcoin is illegal? on: September 01, 2018, 09:01:21 PM
Many countries are announcing Bitcoin illegal because it is not under the control of any government.Government cannot control Bitcoin transactions. So in order to stop or we can say to prevent the misuse of Bitcoin they ban them because people find it as a way to perform illegal dealings.

You're right. All the governments want is control and Bitcoin cannot be controlled. It allows people to be financially independent and be immune to panic. When people start running to the banks or there's war and people have to get away, bitcoiners will be all packed up and ready.
The only defense of the governments is to make it illegal, but should we be scared? We can always move somewhere else and take our coins with us.
