5061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 18, 2023, 07:54:29 PM
It's quite funny that after getting into the Europa League, Barcelona tightened its game schedule - the break in the Champions League between games is 2 weeks, and in the games for the right to get into the 1/8 of the Europa League, only one week. But they are lucky enough that in La Liga during this period their rivals are among the weakest - Cadiz and Almeria.
After watching the Europa League between Barcelona and Manchester United I concluded that Barcelona would be the champions of La Liga. The boys are playing good football if not so Manchester United would have won Barcelona in the Europa League fixture.
I did not see any club in La Liga that is going to be a stumbling block to Barcelona apart from Real Madrid when they meet again in the coming weeks.
Cadiz will only try to share the points but it won't be possible for them.

Friend, if I'm not mistaken, right now the bookies give the odds that Barcelona will take the La Liga title is less than 1.1. There is no need to watch some games and do any analysis to understand that this is exactly what will happen. But I, as a fan of Real Madrid, will hope for the best, in the end, even in the game with United, Barcelona played much worse than the bookmakers expected.

We can all agree that today was Arsenal day, they had everything they hoped for well almost everything, they won their match against Aston villa despite going down twice in the match.

Also Manchester City who sat on top before todays weekend fixtures played a draw away against Nottingham forest, picking up a single point this puts Arsenal in top position and a game at hand.

I think today's draw is a very strong blow to the City players in terms of psychology. They had just won a head-to-head match against Arsenal and it seemed that things were starting to improve when they immediately lost points in the game with an outsider and now they are far behind Arsenal and powerless - there are no more head-to-head matches and now nothing depends on City. It is very difficult to be in this position and hope that the opponent will make a mistake.

Code:
curl -O https://raw.githubusercontent.com/angristan/openvpn-install/master/openvpn-install.sh
chmod +x openvpn-install.sh

5064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting fraud in Brazil 😦 on: February 17, 2023, 10:35:14 PM
$28,000 seems like a tempting amount to just score a penalty in a game at a certain time, so I'm not surprised that athletes have been able to get involved. I am surprised by another - is the market for betting on penalties at certain times so large that the bets that allow fraudsters to earn hundreds of thousands of dollars have long gone unnoticed? It seems to me that the very first big bet (even if it was split into many small ones) would have attracted attention.

Not confident about Liverpool's chances against Newcastle, that's for sure. So, I'm not expecting much from the game, although we've started to look a tad better recently, especially with some of our injured players coming back.
~

Same. It's hard to believe that Liverpool will inflict a second defeat on Newcastle of the season. On the other hand, it is unlikely that Newcastle will play a fourth draw in a row. There remains a victory for Newcastle, but this will mean a continuation and deepening of the collapse of Liverpool. All three options look very strange in fact and it is very difficult to choose the one that is worth betting on.
5066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 17, 2023, 08:34:16 PM
I agree, this is a very dangerous game to bet on Napoli. The bookies are offering a tempting odds of 1.64, but with Serie A already in Napoli's pocket, it's clear they'll be focusing on the Champions League. I would not even bet on BTTS here, because the game may well end with a score of 0-0, 0-1, 0-2. If you make a bet here, then only in live, when the composition and motivation of the teams will be visible.
Yes, that's it, Napoli doesn't have to focus on this match, especially since they have a distance of 15 points from their closest competitor. So whether they win, draw or lose they won't be too confused. I will not bet on this match, considering the level of risk to bet on Napoli is so high. Meanwhile, betting on Sassuolo is not certain that they can beat Napoli.

Napoli are leading 2-0 already by the 33rd minute and now I regret that I doubted them - they have enough strength to roll on all opponents regardless of the importance of the game.
Yesterday I was similarly upset with United - I saw that the bookmakers underestimated them but did not dare to bet.
5067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 17, 2023, 07:00:22 PM
The draw that Manchester United got in this match was enough to open up opportunities for them when playing at Old Trafford, Marcus Rashford got several good chances at the end of the second half, but these opportunities could not be used to score goals. While Barcelona continued to press in the last 15 minutes of the second half, but Manchester United's defense is still quite solid and able to break the attacks built by Barcelona players.

The draw in this match also broke the predictions of several bookies who considered Barcelona to come out victorious and in the second leg I think Manchester United are far superior, although playing as the host is not a guarantee to win.

It is strange that bookmakers see the upcoming game like this:

2.43 - 3.50 - 2.95

but at the same time, Barcelona, in their opinion, will win the Europa League with a odds of 6, and United will have a worse odds - 7. United's edge is small and there's hardly room to hedge profits here, but it's an interesting case.

today on friday it comes to the duel of two teams that have currently disappointed this season. augsburg against hoffenheim .
both teams have only 19 points and want to win this match. has the new hoffenheim coach Matarazzo today finally a success with his team ?
the first game with the new coach has heffenheim lost in leverkusen. i'm curious whether hoffenheim today gets one or three points.
or they lose again with the new coach ? tonight at 10:25pm we are smarter . then the match should be finished

A very random game in my opinion and bookmakers think the same:

  2.74 - 3.45 - 2.48

BTTS with odds of 1.60 looks interesting as both teams concede a lot of goals and should be able to score at least one goal in a game against each other.

Quite an expected move - last year there was information that Chelsea would buy either Ronaldo or Neymar purely for marketing reasons. Ronaldo chose another money option, so only Neymar remained. But in fact, I very much doubt that the Neymar brand is strong now. The start of the season seemed to show him returning to normal, but the World Cup broke him.
In terms of "showbiz" He can still benefit Chelsea and on pitch too if he turns up well. The Media usually like chasing after a specific type of players and Neymar of them. The biggest problem is he seems to be so injury prone lately. I am not sure if he will manage the hard tackles in the EPL.

One of the reasons Ronaldo always kept at the top was it was so hard to find him injured or being laid off for a couple of months.

Neymar is in good health on average, in any case, if the transition is carried out, he will undergo a full medical examination and if he has any chronic problems, then Chelsea will know about it. I see another problem: let's say everything is ready for the transition, but what if Chelsea can't even get into the Europa League at the end? Will Neymar agree to lose the whole euro season?
5070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 17, 2023, 05:13:25 PM
I don't think Chelsea will have an extra advantage in home matches. Chelsea managed to get 18 points in 10 Premier League home matches. The condition of the Chelsea team is now unstable. As a result, they also failed to take advantage of home matches. Not only are Chelsea's players out of form, their overall match strategy is also poor. In such circumstances, I think it is unlikely that Chelsea will win the second leg against Dortmund by a margin of 2-0. Because the Dortmund team is not weak. They are strong and experienced enough this season. And now their performance is stable. So I would say the second leg will be a draw. And Dortmund will qualify for the next round.

For Chelsea, any score with a lead of even one goal 1-0, 2-1, 3-2 etc. is acceptable, since in this case the game will continue in stoppage time, where theoretically Chelsea should have the advantage. But in general, this is one of the most difficult games to predict - the so-called three-output game, where any outcome looks both logical and probable.
5071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 17, 2023, 04:53:31 PM
Sassuolo vs Napoli, a match that will add another winning streak for Napoli. But I had doubts whether Napoli could maintain its victory in this match. What's more, they have to arrange a schedule for their players ahead of next week's UCL match against Frankfurt. I think they should share their stamina with their second tier players, so they still have enough energy amidst this busy schedule. My prediction is that Napoli will win by a narrow score, but I don't rule out the possibility that the result will be a draw with both teams scoring goals.

I agree, this is a very dangerous game to bet on Napoli. The bookies are offering a tempting odds of 1.64, but with Serie A already in Napoli's pocket, it's clear they'll be focusing on the Champions League. Barcelona can continue the winning trend in the next match because cadiz is not a strong team considering they have been very inconsistent this season. However, when Barcelona faced Cadiz, it seemed that Barcelona would not be strengthened by a number of their core players, such as Gavi, Pedri, Sergio Busquest and Dembele who had not recovered from injury for a long time. That will make Barcelona have to work hard to be able to perform better like the previous match.

Moreover, Barcelona has a pretty busy schedule this month so Xavi has to work hard to be able to manage the energy of his players to appear stronger in every game they play.

It's quite funny that after getting into the Europa League, Barcelona tightened its game schedule - the break in the Champions League between games is 2 weeks, and in the games for the right to get into the 1/8 of the Europa League, only one week. A sad result for Arsenal but with a game in hand at the moment they haven't lost the lead yet. Arsenal have a long streak of easy opponents ahead and if they are effective in beating outsiders then City can get really nervous, after all, the fewer games to go, the more important these 3 points of advantage will be.

Arsenal has a better position, as the club has 1 game to spare. Manchester City needs to constantly bounce back from the result of the Gunners. It is psychologically harder. If City can withstand such pressure, they are quite capable of becoming the leader of the Premier League. Also, the Citizens became the leader of the EPL because of their best stats, this will give them strength against Arsenal.

Stats only matter when the number of games is equal. What will the stats mean if Arsenal score even one point in the reserve game?
Both Arsenal and City have easy games ahead, but it can be assumed that Arsenal are in a better position due to the fact that they can ignore the Europa League and no one will blame them for this, while City will be required to play in the Champions League to the maximum.
5074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 16, 2023, 07:53:02 PM
A nice game between Barcelona and Manchester United which will end in a draw if no strange things happen. we have seen no less than 4 goals in the 2nd half. Did this duel deserve a winner? Actually both, so in that respect 2-2 is a fair result. But both teams will be happy with the draw, especially Barcelona because the rule that away goals counts double no longer applies. Barcelona and United have both been ahead once in this match. I think United are light favorites to go through if it stays 2-2.
Ajax - Union Berlin is a very disappointing ame so far with 0-0

I think Barcelona are unhappy anyway as a victory at Old Trafford is much less likely than today's chance. In general, after the first half, I was sure that United would not lose and most likely win, but in the second half the game became completely chaotic and both teams had chances. The score could have been 4-3 or 3-4 in either direction. But now United is a clear favorite in this pair, I will be happy to look at the quotes of the bookmakers which initially considered Barcelona to be the favorite.
5075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 16, 2023, 07:44:03 PM
After Juventus were severely punished last time they returned from Serie B and we saw a decade of their complete dominance. Interestingly, this time we will see a repetition of this? Or, given the fact that the punishment this time was relatively weak, then such a tough domination from Juventus will no longer happen?

No one will know for sure, because there are many other big teams in Serie A which of course they will never give up easily and will continue to provide tough resistance for Juventus. Serie A is not like the Bundesliga which only has one strong team with great dominance, so it will be difficult for Juventus to be able to repeat the great domination that Juventus once had as in the past.

So yes, I personally don't believe Juventus will have the dominance it had in the past. But to win the title maybe in two or three consecutive seasons it looks like it will still be able to happen in the future, the point is no one will know for sure. But if only to win the Serie A title then of course, Juventus still have a big chance to win it in the following seasons.

It is a pity that most likely the Napoli championship will be an isolated event (which is of course very good after so many years) since at the end of the season the best players will be bought up by top clubs. Quite unusually, what happened to Ajax last year will happen to one of the Italian tops. But such is the economy, Italy is a small economy and is gradually losing competition to other countries.
5076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 16, 2023, 07:07:22 PM
These are statistics from the Champions League, what does it have to do with the Europa League?  Grin
By the way, do you know how many times United won the Europa League and how many times Barcelona?  Wink
By the way, even if you look at your statistics, two games were 3 years ago, the next game 13 years ago, and so on ... What is the relationship with modernity?
Previewing old statistics isn't a bad idea, be it 10 years or 20 years ago. Don't say it has nothing to do with modernity, At some points, clubs have certain records which are hard to be broken.  Barcelona hardly loses to MU in European matches. It  :owill be a good thing if Manchester United could take it under advisement and double up their preparation especially now that FCB is in a very good form

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. If the "pattern" does not continue, then we simply do not notice it. But in fact, even where we noticed a "pattern" it simply does not exist. You are familiar with roulette, dice, etc. Gamblers find "patterns" even there. In fact, "historical" clashes have patterns if one style of play is clearly better than the other and both clubs have kept these styles for decades (which can be applied to Barcelona by the way), but I would not say that Tiki Taka or its variations are the dominant style.
5077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 16, 2023, 06:58:18 PM
Bayern Munich, Dortmund and Union Berlin are strong candidates to fight for the Bundesliga title this season, especially since these three teams are currently at the top of the standings and still have the chance to catch points from these three teams.
Next week Bayern Munich will play against the Monchengladbach team in that match they should be able to get full points to secure their position at the top of the standings because if Bayern can't do it, it will be a good opportunity for Union Berlin to shift Bayern Munich to second in the standings.

With Dortmund playing Hertha (16th at the moment) and Union Berlin with Schalke (18th) and both of these games are home to rivals Bayern, there is no doubt that they will score three points each.
Really good opportunity to escalate the fight for the title, but seeing how Bayern dealt with PSG I assume that Maunchgladbach will be defeated without problems.

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly and Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi have reportedly met to discuss a transfer for Brazil superstar Neymar.

Chelsea is now interesting to buy neymar from PSG. I don't even know what has been thinking by todd. PSG already confirmed that will be let neymar and messi to leaving from the club. I guess that the new club for messi is still become a big answer but as you know that from news that i have mentioned above if neymar may potentially goes to the chelsea. I wonder how much money wanna be spending again by todd. Chelsea is still struggling with its performance after bad result in champion league.

Quite an expected move - last year there was information that Chelsea would buy either Ronaldo or Neymar purely for marketing reasons. Ronaldo chose another money option, so only Neymar remained. Big win for Manchester City, they have a big step in the quarter-final now.
In the other game easy win for Borussia as expected.

City will play their match only in a week.
As for the game Dortmund - Chelsea, it was not easy (look at the number of yellow cards in the game) and the result could swing in any direction.
Of those clubs that have already played, only Benfica can be said to have secured access to the next round, but their superiority was known in advance.

To be able to continue to compete in Serie A next season I don't think it's difficult for Juventus, their decline in position was not because they performed badly but because of the sanctions and before the sanctions Juventus were very good, it was only the defeat from Napoli that made them look so bad but for the rest they were enough competitive even as a title contender this season, but now Napoli will be clear to be champions of the season.

After Juventus were severely punished last time they returned from Serie B and we saw a decade of their complete dominance. Interestingly, this time we will see a repetition of this?
