5062  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 13, 2014, 08:13:56 PM
Dude, are you trying to get more ignores than Fonzie?
I thought it was quite fitting, no? If I had to describe BTC market atm, it'd be with that. Tongue

Seriously , get rid of that image. The thread is already bearish , no need for more man fur.
5063  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 13, 2014, 08:07:40 PM

Double bottoms and no girl pics ... this is bearish indeed
5064  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 13, 2014, 08:04:35 PM

Lol, Fonzie is the new proudhon eh?

Count me among the optimists.  Here's something I've been considering lately.  I learned my big lesson in not trusting 3rd parties with any significant amounts of bitcoin in 2012 with the bitcoinica fuck up.  Many of us learned that lesson through that experience and others back then.  But, there just weren't that many of us.

This go around there are a lot more people with a lot more money invested in bitcoin.  And this most recent incident was enormous in scale, affecting multiple 3rd parties.  Basically, everyone just got schooled in why you don't keep lots of bitcoin with 3rd parties, and I suspect over the coming months we're going to see the bitcoin supply on exchanges drop as people withdraw their bitcoins and learn to hold them themselves.

The whole infrastructure is still maturing and VC interest is clear.  However, VCs won't tolerate the risk of investing in startups with inexperienced management teams, and, therefore, I think we're in the midst of seeing it change hands from business owners with little real business experience to more experienced managers.  My thinking is that the infrastructure is moving forward and becoming more mature and robust and more usable and interesting for end users and business integration, and I think supplies on the open markets will decrease.  Combine those two things and I think you have the ingredients for another strong bull run later this year.

Just some thoughts.

And proudhon .....

The protocol is broken as far as i know, they will release a statement in the next days.  Sad
I´m really startin to worry about Bitcoin. It was overall awesome in the last years, but it seems those days are gone and history.
From here on this is a downards spiral :-(
It was fun anyways as long as it lasted.

GOOD RIDDANCE!

People claim bitcoin is broken... we go down
People claim bitcoin is fixed.... we go down

My DNS must have been hacked, because I look at the charts and see nothing out of the ordinary.

Are people really alarmed because Bitstamp fell a mere 30$?

It's too much of a coincidence that the prices started to get down , even by 30$, right when the news about the fix started to appear.

Stop making 10 quotes in a single post.
The buy side on bitstamp has improved, the crash might have happened, or it might move a bit more down.
The price will definitely spike once it's in the news everywhere (positive, not media FUD).

Stop telling people how to post.

Stop telling people to dont say how to post Smiley

No you stop.

Pretty mature for the economic forum...

Dogehouse down?

So is fast-pool, try http://doge.netcodepool.org and compare your earnings to these two shady pools. Im sure you'll notice a difference. Actually these guys manually "edit" the no. of coins in a block, thereby earning the already fee + around 5% from the "so-called-orphans-or-low-paying-blocks"

More proof here: http://www.reddit.com/r/dogemining/comments/1x1p76/something_is_rotten_in_the_state_of_doge_mining/

Rest assured, Netcodepool is in mining business since 2012, 70000 Litecoins have been mined till date, we never do these kind of cheap attempts to earn more. Therefore, hold a record for not loosing a user's single coin, ever.

How is it in mining business since 2012 with a domain registered in April 2013?

And the action wasn’t limited to just one virtual currency; people traded dogecoin by a table with an image of a Shiba Inu.

Go DOGE!

Could be that I'm blind but I can't see two bodies with one head....

People finally realizing deflationary currencies aren't currency? They're collectibles.

5076  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Real Time Socialist Train Wreck (again) Happening Now in Venezuela on: February 04, 2014, 11:46:37 PM
It turns out that the US is spending $114 to extract a barrel of oil (blame it on shale) - whilst the Venezualans can knock it out at $20 a barrel  Shocked

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-01-08/unforseen-u-s-oil-boom-upends-world-markets-as-drilling-spreads.html

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-10-24/oil-s-5-trillion-permian-boom-threatened-by-70-crude.html

As the OPEC production is destroyed by war and socialism, the oil price averages over $96, the USA domestic production increases.

So let's just let Venezuela continue to follow Hitler's economic model and fall right into the plan of the banksters Wink

Btw, Venezuela's oil infrastructure is falling apart due to lack of capitalistic investments. We will see all the low cost oil production destroyed for the next 20 years and the USA will rise. This is why the majors have been building new refineries and export terminals in for example Louisiana.

You can also see (if you dig for information) that the revolutions in the Middle East (and Chavez) were planted by the elite who run this world. This is all moving forward according to the master plan for world government (with a strong US military and economy controlled by the elite to force these changes on the world) and world currency.

5078  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 03, 2014, 02:30:40 AM
Prices are determined by estimating discounted future value.  Supply of BTC will dry up. Supply of dogesh*t never will.

Er, um, but doesn't that imply that in the future everybody will use Dogecoin, no one will use Bitcoin?

just like everybody was using mugabedollars 5 years ago

5080  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 02, 2014, 11:35:18 PM
Wow.  Such crash.  Doge hurtin' today.

All cryptocoins are brothers in fate, if one fails the others will suffer too.

Pure bitcoiners may rejoice in the demise of a competitor, but people out there will wonder: if Dogecoin crashed without warning or reason, why wouldn't Bitcoin too?

it was updated to mugabecoin
