5061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Co-founder and CEO of Avenue Capital Group lamented he should have bitcoin on: June 08, 2021, 07:45:28 PM
I do not know the reason why some people will report that bitcoin is dying when the price plummeted, there is another recent crash since yesterday but I like what the CEO of Avenue Capital Group said about bitcoin. He said the market has been established. I believe that too, also when in the past years when bitcoin level of adoption is not as strong as of this time, the price did fluctuated, decreased during the process but increased back and reach all-time-high, bitcoin is just a digital asset that can not be ignored.

Marc Lasry, co-founder and CEO of Avenue Capital Group, believes that despite recent volatility in the crypto market, it likely isn’t going away. In a Tuesday interview with CNBC’s Squawk Box, Lasry said that while the price of Bitcoin (BTC) could go anywhere from $20,000 to $100,000, the market has been established, implying it is unlikely to go to zero.

5062  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where is giveaway thread? on: June 08, 2021, 06:58:50 PM
I want to earn free BTC, but I do not know how to do it. Whould someone help me to do it?
You can try faucet sites like Freebitco.in, but the earning is not encouraging.
You can try pay-to-click sites but the earning is also not encouraging, also you can be directed to scam sites, many people have complained how they have been scammed through this method on pay to click sites.
You can try to participate in some airdrops, but if VIP fee is is demanded for, this is a scam, also many information collected during airdrop and other free giveaways can be used in phishing attacks.
You can try some bounty campaigns on this forum, but some can lead to exit scam
You can try bitcoin signature campaigns on this forum, it is highly recommended but you will need to be a ranked member before joining one.
You can decide to wait for bitcoin price to dump so that you can hodl

You should be very careful, the process of some people finding ways to earn bitcoin led them to scammers and they were scammed.
5063  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Can a poor man get his chance to be rich in Crypto? on: June 08, 2021, 01:12:13 AM
It depends on the definition of the poor. If a person is so poor to the extent he can not even be able to afford a broswing device like Android or computer, such person can not even make it into crypto because of the level of poverty he is experiencing. But if someone is not that poor, but yet below average, exposure and knowledge about crypto can help him. If doge can increased 30x in less than a year from $0.0022 to over $0.7 this year, that means there are opportunities for such people to become rich. Not even only Doge that increased to such large value, almost all cryptocurrencies in the first 500 according to marketcap all really increased. This is not yet the last opportunity as another big event which is bitcoin halving is coming again by 2024, people will fomo again and another opportunity for the below average people to become rich.
5064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What Is The Best Tether Wallet (USDT) | I Need Web Base | Low Transaction Fee on: June 07, 2021, 05:35:20 PM
The most secure and safe wallet for tether are hardware wallets like trezor or ledger nano, but if you need hot wallet for it, there are some wallets that support it, but all that I know are close source unlike bitcoin that we still have open source wallets for. I used Trustwallet for tether, it even support TRC20 USDT, but it is close source wallet.
5065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I buy VET and BEAM? on: June 07, 2021, 03:33:04 PM
Does "Pairing" mean the subject coin can be converted to/from the other coin?
On the exchange listed, yes you will be able to convert it to the paired coins.

Should I choose the one that has the highest liquidity and confidence level?
Highest liquidity means highest trading volume, if the exchange has good reputation in the past, you can use the exchange.

Also, of the exhanges listed for BEAM, the closest I see to what I have is Binance..I have Binance US though...
Binance.com is different from binance US, if binance US is among the listed exchange, you will be able to see it there with low liquidity if compared to binance.com with the same coin paired.
5066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What Is The Best Theter Wallet | I Need Web Base | Low Transaction Fee on: June 07, 2021, 02:36:58 PM
What is the best theter wallet?
I have just searched through the coinmarketcap just of recent, I did not see any coin called theter, or did you mean tether? There is another coin called theta. Which of the two are you talking about?
5067  Other / Beginners & Help / Question about bitcoin taxes and signature campaign payment on this forum on: June 07, 2021, 02:19:25 PM
Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies generally are banned in my country for now, but I know the government will still one day legalize cryptocurrencies. If cryptocurrencies are later legalized in my country and paying crypto taxes are mandatory, what do you think about this below.

All what I have read about crypto taxes are:
  • only capital gain will be taxed
  • capital gain will not be taxed if there is a capital loss until no losses again

With all I have read about crypto taxes, I do not yet know how I should pay crypto tax for any signature campaign paid on this forum unless the bitcoin paid later has net increase. But if it has not yet increase in value, this means no taxes to be paid. Is that correct?
5068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I buy VET and BEAM? on: June 07, 2021, 01:21:08 PM
Can someone tell me how/where to buy BEAM and VET coins? Of course they're not sold thru Coinbase and I couldn't find the contract address on coin market cap. They're not pulling up on pancake or uniswap. I have TRUST wallet and would prefer to purchase through that.
If you can not get it through that above link easily, try to change your broswer mode to desktop mode in the broswer settings. If not still work, you can download the coinmarketcap app, search the coin you want using the app, click on the coin, scroll down and press on market. It will list all the coin paired with the coin and also list the exchanges it is paired.

Or you can access it on Coingecko also which is more broswer friendly while checking the exchanges it is paired with other coins

5069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: June 06, 2021, 01:11:22 PM
If you looked at the possibilities and chances for Chelsea to become champions, you would have been rich by now. Still, you kind of saw this coming. In the semi-final against Real Madrid they were 2x much better and they should have won 2x big. And I read that they had already won 3 of the last 4 head-to-head matches against Man City. Chelsea is better than many people think. Of course it also has to do with the trainer.
Chelsea really surprised us this season but the club really worth the winning, when I knew it was Man City that qualified with Chelsea to play the final, I was very happy because I know Chelsea has won already, it was the first time for Man City to make it up to final, no club known to me that first made it up to final that won, Chelsea has the experience more than Man City even irrespective of the changed manager and some players.

Last year CL final with PSG and now the title with Chelsea.
I do not know what you mean by 'last year with PSG and now the title with Chelsea, though PSG and Bayern Munich played the final last season but PSG was defeated by Bayern Munich by 1 goal to nothing, Bayern Munich won last year Champions League.
5070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: June 06, 2021, 01:01:26 PM
As possible its better to limit all the things like what they say all of the exceed things you made there's a possible consequences so still get the balance to prevent too much urge to make a profit or another loss.
Like me, it is best for me to gamble during the weekend as I am usually busy all through the week, though I have time to gamble during the week but it is not my choice at all, the more someone gamble the more can be the loses. I like going for sport during weekends in the morning on Saturdays, while using the evening to gamble sport matches, also sometimes on Sundays but not usual. I use the money I can afford and spend the time for fun, if I lose I lose and yet never thinking about it, I do even take weak team which favours my predictions many times.
5071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: June 06, 2021, 08:05:31 AM
I don't think you got my point. I want to focus here exclusively on the economic effects. You just mentioned jobs, this is a very bad argument, because if someone digs random & useless holes in the ground while I pay this person 10 USD is this job really good? Why not giving the 10 USD directy to this person?
If you are talking about how gambling is helping the economy, the only thing you can talk about is job creation, there are many people that will be employed, there are programmers that are also needed and many more. About how it is affecting the life of people negatively, I do not know how it is related to economy.
5072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: June 05, 2021, 01:15:49 PM
What are your thoughts on this topic?
Gambling is not good for addicts, people should not be addicted to gambling, the fact remain the more someone gamble the more the person will lose. Gambling should be for fun and not for profit or money making, if someone see gambling as a way to profit or make money, he will lose, that is just the fact, such people are the ones that are even getting addicted.

Gambling also have more benefit, it provides jobs for many people, this is the benefit many governments sees and not even bother about it because job creation does a lot to the economy. The best is to all the time tell people not to use the money they can not afford to lose to gamble because they can lose it while gambling, also people should not be addicted, but gambling contributed to economy development.
5073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: June 05, 2021, 12:16:28 PM
In some crypto gambling sites, KYC may be required when you wish to withdraw your fund. But we also have crypto casinos that don't require us to verify identities. Crypto gambling site have grown in popularity among the crypto community during the pandemic and I believe there has been a significant increase during that time. Regardless of the situation, one should consider depositing fund on a reputable site as many fraudulent site may be after players' money during this upgrade.
The only Kyc I have done before was when I registered on bet365.com, I have registered on 3 betting sites before that time which are fiat betting sites, no kyc demanded for, but I think using credit cards to deposit is a means of kyc, but no kyc required. In crypto gambling sites, I have registered on three gambling sites, no kyc required, but it is in their rules for identity verification in their terms of service which would be because of certain reasons, but I have not filled in any personal identity before than email.
5074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Placing bets under Superbru-like conditions on: June 05, 2021, 12:05:43 PM
I do not really understand you but if it is what I am thinking that you are asking, the betting sportbooks have very different options you can take. Like for the correct score, you will see different score range with different odds, there are even some betting sites that include 'correct score others' and correct score others first half and second half in which you can select under 4.5 goals in the first half to win the match or second half respectively
but the odds do not encourage people to take such bet, the odd can be as low as 1.01 and in which someone can still lose. The sportbooks have so many options to take from.
5075  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading vs Forex trading on: June 05, 2021, 11:50:50 AM
Forex is more of a gamble as they say but that's just the same in cryptocurrencies for altcoins that you don't know.

But if you're knowledgeable in crypto, you're on the right market and the advantage of it, there will be no people telling you in forex to HODL. But if you're also skilled and experienced in forex, you'll earn the same as you earn in crypto.

Whilst in bitcoin, you're fine and relax to HODL.
There are some altcoins you can hold and also get profit but there are also many shitcoins, if you hold bitcoin for long time, you will gain from it. But the OP is not talking about holding, he is talking about trading, trading and holding are not the same, that which is the best between crypto or forex trading. Spot trading is not like gambling, but high leverage trading can be more of gambling irrespective of the coin you are using. I prefer crypto trading but I have friends that also gain from forex, it depends on the level of knowledge and experience, following the rules and managing risks.
5076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin/ETH replace fiat someday? on: June 05, 2021, 09:16:27 AM
I do not just have to go through your write up because the title has well explained what the content will be, bitcoin is not a replacement for fiat, it is just an alternative, if there are alternatives, there will be more convenience for people. Like now people can easily make cross border payment with just less than $1 bitcoin fee but the people are able to know how the bitcoin fee works and make use of low fee, but no how someone will not spend ten times or more while using fiat. Fiat are centralized but bitcoin is decentralized, bitcoin gives freedom unlike fiat. People will still be using the two but bitcoin is a good alternative especially used by people that want privacy and also want there money to increase in value rather than decreasing in value.
5077  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading vs Forex trading on: June 05, 2021, 04:30:04 AM
Both crypto trading and forex trading are very risky, they are both ways many people are losing, but the experts are using it to make money, the experts are few while the losers are many. It depends on how expert you are, both are risky and can be profitable. Also, use low leverage, the profit can be low, but the chances of losing high amount is low while your margin is low. You will have to choose one and study about it very well, or you can study the two and later choose one. You may even later like the two is you go patiently.

5079  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't you think Bitcoin will die over the summer? on: June 04, 2021, 02:06:42 PM
Yes it will die. It will go down to zero. You better sell all your BTCs right now and give them to the whales and Elon Musk. You will be safe with FIAT. Sell everything now, just do it.
You are not right about this, how can the price of bitcoin drop to zero, when many people just want its price to drop to certain level and buy or buy again, do not expect bitcoin to drop to zero, it can not even drop to $10000 for now not to talk of dropping to zero. And expect another all-time-high later after long term period, probably after the next halving.

Or is this ironically expressed? I have seen many of your posts supoorting 1btc = 1 btc and how bitcoin will have more value.
5080  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see $10k per BTC? on: June 04, 2021, 02:01:06 PM
There is nothing not possible, but the possibility of bitcoin getting to $10000 is veey low, even getting to $20000 is possible but yet low, the $30000 support is strong and it has to break that first. Nobody will give you the best advice about this, you have your own decision to make, you want to hold because you want to gain, in the process of holding can be losses for some certain time period, but the long term period will be profitable.
