5061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: June 05, 2021, 01:15:49 PM
What are your thoughts on this topic?
Gambling is not good for addicts, people should not be addicted to gambling, the fact remain the more someone gamble the more the person will lose. Gambling should be for fun and not for profit or money making, if someone see gambling as a way to profit or make money, he will lose, that is just the fact, such people are the ones that are even getting addicted.

Gambling also have more benefit, it provides jobs for many people, this is the benefit many governments sees and not even bother about it because job creation does a lot to the economy. The best is to all the time tell people not to use the money they can not afford to lose to gamble because they can lose it while gambling, also people should not be addicted, but gambling contributed to economy development.
5062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: June 05, 2021, 12:16:28 PM
In some crypto gambling sites, KYC may be required when you wish to withdraw your fund. But we also have crypto casinos that don't require us to verify identities. Crypto gambling site have grown in popularity among the crypto community during the pandemic and I believe there has been a significant increase during that time. Regardless of the situation, one should consider depositing fund on a reputable site as many fraudulent site may be after players' money during this upgrade.
The only Kyc I have done before was when I registered on bet365.com, I have registered on 3 betting sites before that time which are fiat betting sites, no kyc demanded for, but I think using credit cards to deposit is a means of kyc, but no kyc required. In crypto gambling sites, I have registered on three gambling sites, no kyc required, but it is in their rules for identity verification in their terms of service which would be because of certain reasons, but I have not filled in any personal identity before than email.
5063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Placing bets under Superbru-like conditions on: June 05, 2021, 12:05:43 PM
I do not really understand you but if it is what I am thinking that you are asking, the betting sportbooks have very different options you can take. Like for the correct score, you will see different score range with different odds, there are even some betting sites that include 'correct score others' and correct score others first half and second half in which you can select under 4.5 goals in the first half to win the match or second half respectively
but the odds do not encourage people to take such bet, the odd can be as low as 1.01 and in which someone can still lose. The sportbooks have so many options to take from.
5064  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading vs Forex trading on: June 05, 2021, 11:50:50 AM
Forex is more of a gamble as they say but that's just the same in cryptocurrencies for altcoins that you don't know.

But if you're knowledgeable in crypto, you're on the right market and the advantage of it, there will be no people telling you in forex to HODL. But if you're also skilled and experienced in forex, you'll earn the same as you earn in crypto.

Whilst in bitcoin, you're fine and relax to HODL.
There are some altcoins you can hold and also get profit but there are also many shitcoins, if you hold bitcoin for long time, you will gain from it. But the OP is not talking about holding, he is talking about trading, trading and holding are not the same, that which is the best between crypto or forex trading. Spot trading is not like gambling, but high leverage trading can be more of gambling irrespective of the coin you are using. I prefer crypto trading but I have friends that also gain from forex, it depends on the level of knowledge and experience, following the rules and managing risks.
5065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin/ETH replace fiat someday? on: June 05, 2021, 09:16:27 AM
I do not just have to go through your write up because the title has well explained what the content will be, bitcoin is not a replacement for fiat, it is just an alternative, if there are alternatives, there will be more convenience for people. Like now people can easily make cross border payment with just less than $1 bitcoin fee but the people are able to know how the bitcoin fee works and make use of low fee, but no how someone will not spend ten times or more while using fiat. Fiat are centralized but bitcoin is decentralized, bitcoin gives freedom unlike fiat. People will still be using the two but bitcoin is a good alternative especially used by people that want privacy and also want there money to increase in value rather than decreasing in value.
5066  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading vs Forex trading on: June 05, 2021, 04:30:04 AM
Both crypto trading and forex trading are very risky, they are both ways many people are losing, but the experts are using it to make money, the experts are few while the losers are many. It depends on how expert you are, both are risky and can be profitable. Also, use low leverage, the profit can be low, but the chances of losing high amount is low while your margin is low. You will have to choose one and study about it very well, or you can study the two and later choose one. You may even later like the two is you go patiently.

You should follow how others are posting, let your post be meaningful and have thoughts in it. The first thing you need to know is to learn from what ranked members are posting on this forum, learn from them, make researches and post on any boards of your choice. With time you will be able to know what people are posting here and will be able to also be helpful for the upcoming newbies when you have high rank.

5068  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't you think Bitcoin will die over the summer? on: June 04, 2021, 02:06:42 PM
Yes it will die. It will go down to zero. You better sell all your BTCs right now and give them to the whales and Elon Musk. You will be safe with FIAT. Sell everything now, just do it.
You are not right about this, how can the price of bitcoin drop to zero, when many people just want its price to drop to certain level and buy or buy again, do not expect bitcoin to drop to zero, it can not even drop to $10000 for now not to talk of dropping to zero. And expect another all-time-high later after long term period, probably after the next halving.

Or is this ironically expressed? I have seen many of your posts supoorting 1btc = 1 btc and how bitcoin will have more value.
5069  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see $10k per BTC? on: June 04, 2021, 02:01:06 PM
There is nothing not possible, but the possibility of bitcoin getting to $10000 is veey low, even getting to $20000 is possible but yet low, the $30000 support is strong and it has to break that first. Nobody will give you the best advice about this, you have your own decision to make, you want to hold because you want to gain, in the process of holding can be losses for some certain time period, but the long term period will be profitable.
5070  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't you think Bitcoin will die over the summer? on: June 04, 2021, 12:52:15 PM
Bitcoin price can only decrease, it can not die, I do not even think bitcoin price can decrease more than $20000. The price will increase again with time. You should not panic, this is not new in bitcoin price increase and decrease. The price will increase, later decrease, people will use the decrease price opportunity to buy and waiting for increase, the price will increase back even more than the last highest price increase.
5071  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cookies in broswers on: June 04, 2021, 09:17:58 AM
I wouldn't say that Android phones are more secure than PC or iPhone but their security has nothing to do with allowing or rejecting cookies. Crypto wallets get hijacked by infected apps that user installs on it's phone or by a SIM swap. I never heard of anyone loosing their crypto because he allowed cookies on his phone.
No common OS people are using that hackers will not look for ways to create a malware to attack the users, even the OS that are not common can still have its own malware, but hackers prefer what is mostly used by people. You are right because as Android is very commonly used among people, there are many apps on play store that are for hackers and scammers generally, there has been many people that have complained about how their coins and money were stolen due to fake apps. We need to knows ways to protect our devices is the best, not that one is secure than another unless it is not commonly used like the recommended Linux.
5072  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Understanding the importance of monitoring weekly paid posts on: June 03, 2021, 02:21:48 PM
I faced a similar situation last month when one of my gambling thread where I made about 15 posts was moved to offtopic just a day to my final post count day, I was not affected because I had about 40 posts that week while my weekly posts requirements was 20/ week, I'm a good talker so I always talk more than my weekly quota.
This is exactly what I am saying, assuming you had only 30 posts while you needed 20 minimum number of posts for the signature campaign, I believe good posters can have such good amount with quality posts within a week, if 15 posts were deleted, that means you will need 5 more posts, if you did not monitor your post count, you will lose the weekly payment, you were only luck that only 15 posts were deleted, if your weekly posts were deleted and remained only 19 that counts for payment,  checking your posts history before CM will count would help you to post more at the time. And this is you, I have seen many good posters that are having just 3 posts more than the post required for payments, what if some of the posts were moved to off-topic, checking this a day before CM will count posts will be helpful. Also you are a stale member already, i believe you know about this, I just want to notify new members about this. Or did you think good posters can not fall victim for this? I have seen few good posters that were not paid especially because their posts were moved to a board that is not counting for payment.
5073  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cookies in broswers on: June 03, 2021, 10:31:54 AM
Privacy and security are 2 different thing. Accepting privacy reduce your privacy, not your security. I don't know browser you use, but some browsers have option to reject 3rd party cookies and addons/extension to automatically delete cookies after you leave the website (obviously the addons/extension have whitelist/blacklist).
Yes, I know privacy and security are two different things, but I am conscious of both to certain level, I want privacy for my security sake also, because a single breach of online privacy may reduce someone's security already. Privacy conscious people have ways to be more safe than people that do not care about privacy.

...
Yes, I have been hearing that using bitcoin core with Tor is the best for privacy, but it takes almost or over 400 gigabyte to run full node, I do not know how prune node will be, but I can not use it due to certain reasons, I do not have the resources needs to run full node. I am still comfortable with electrum, I understand electrum still run central servers but I am still okay with it. What I am totally concerned against are third-party sites that are making people to accept cookies, but I have seen a way which may be effective to avoid it, I disabled the cookies from the broswer settings, hopefully it will work.
5074  Other / Beginners & Help / Cookies in broswers on: June 03, 2021, 04:25:56 AM
I manage to have electrum wallet on my mobile phone which I do use to make transaction frequently, I also have some others apps that I need to carefully protect on my mobile device. Anytime I broswe before, I can be able to reject the cookies the site I am accessing popped up for me to either accept or reject, I did always reject them because I know it can be used to track some information on my browser.

Recently I noticed the option to reject this cookies are no more there, out of 10 sites I visit, I may not even see the option again on the whole ten sites, I still do see it but I hardly see it, so the probability of me seeing the rejection option is very slim. There are some time I will have to make use of the site with the cookies pop up like that without clicking on accept, but it makes users experience not good, and also there are times I will not be able to read anything from the site without accepting the cookies. This makes me to ask this questions.

Is there a way to still reject the cookies that sites owners are somehow making mandatory
So is it safe to accept this cookies and yet my phone is safe? (I always think anything that track information on my broswer makes me not to have privacy)
Can my wallet and other apps and information be accessed by hackers on my device by accepting the cookies (I do not trust any site about this cookie thing) and I do visit the legit sites, not he fake ones.
Or should I just go to my broswer information to always clear the cookies? It will be effective but it can be tiring

If this can happen on mobile phones, it can also happen on computers to people using their computers to broswer always. It will be good to have effective solution to totally reject cookies.
5075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting to Risk Free Fights on: June 03, 2021, 03:40:58 AM
There is nothing like risk-free in matches, even if the certainty of wining is 99.99%, the 0.1% still means the winner can be anyone. If my the chance of winning can be very high, but that does not mean the person that have such high probability of wining can not lose. Even in previous match cases, there has been many cases of someone that have high probability of wining ended up losing. 100% guarantee is uncertain.
5076  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Understanding the importance of monitoring weekly paid posts on: June 03, 2021, 03:27:47 AM
Overall, the topic is bad because if you focus on monitoring your weekly posts, you will not focus on what you write.
I do not care if some people go against this, but I believe it will help some good posters, especially some newbies that have just raked up and joined signature campaigns. I did not create this thread for shit posters.

Thanks for the fourth suggestion, I have included it.

In a way, yes. I was thinking, if you are always counting your weekly posts, and you either make more posts or cease from posting based on your count, that could mean you are only doing something in compliance of a certain rule or for the sake of meeting a certain target. There's a world of difference between making a post because you have something important to say and making a post because you need to say something.
People are misunderstanding this topic, it is not about shit posters, it is not also about monitoring your post all the time, that is why I colored the number 3 which is the main reason I created this topic, that for paying campaigns that have certain number of posts we should make to be eligible for payment, we should try to check out posting history a day before the end of the weekly posting. That is why I previously commented that 20 posts are needed in my current campaign, but I do make 30 or more but yet I do track my weekly posting a day before campaign manager will count it. Or is it not making any sense by giving myself rest of mind and also which I believe can help others.
5077  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Understanding the importance of monitoring weekly paid posts on: June 02, 2021, 07:20:32 PM
you can try using TryNinja's bitcointalk bot notification. you can check the thread or ask TryNinja whether he added a feature for notification for deleted topics since I remember him mentioning about he could add a notification for deleted topics.

edit: here, I found his thread [TELEGRAM] Yet Another BitcoinTalk Notification BOT (merits, mentions, topics,+). also, looking at the feature there is a "trashed topic notification" I guess a notification for a deleted topic has been added to his bot.
Yes, TryNinja's bitcointalk bot notification can help to know when the parent post or topic that you posted under is nuked, but if the topic is moved, the bot will not notify, the topic can be moved to off-topic or a board that will not count for weekly payment. But about the parent post deletion, the bot will accurately notify people which you can also check about. This is a good suggestion but yet it is very good and useful to track you posts a day to the end of weekly post.
5078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on climbing challenges on: June 02, 2021, 07:10:44 PM
So far i havent encountered any bookies that do offer this line but i do made up some research about possible climbing betting.

You can read up here: https://www.gamingzion.com/gambling/gambling-news/olympic-sport-climbing-betting-in-2021/
Its understandable that this sport isnt really well known yet but actually it isnt really bad though.
That is just it, so far I have not encountered it before, it is not common. At least it should have been on some gambling sites. Immediately I read the OP, I have to check one of the most recognized gambling site in the world that offers different types of sport, but I did not see it there. The last I saw there was horse racing, this makes me believe that it is very possible no gambling site is offering climbing sport betting for now, but I may be wrong. If people like it, see it as fun, it can become common one day and be seen on sport gambling sites.
5079  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign post requirement on: June 02, 2021, 04:22:58 PM
I like your suggestion but it is campaign managers like CryptopreneurBrainboss, Hhampuz and Yahoo62278 that can give perfect answer to your question. They may not give any reason because that is their own rules campaign participants must follow. I noticed they too are acheiving what they want as spammers and low quality posters will be removed from there campaigns, some poor posters are even blacklisted. Your suggestion will help participates to have more comfort and convenience while posting, but not that the rules also set by other campaign managers is not making them achieving their aims as poor posters are filtered out.
5080  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Understanding how important to monitor your weekly paid posts on: June 02, 2021, 09:22:35 AM
<...>
Thanks for this post. The main reason I created this topic is for users to make sure they monitor their post counts because some of the posts made can be moved to non-eligible boards for post count, this will help them to make appropriate corrections before the week ends. We do not know when such can happen, even as I always make more than 10 to 20 more than the post required, I still do track my post history a day to the end of posting week as it is helping, giving me rest of mind.

9. Stop posting just to fill the signature quota, especially when it comes to a useless topic that is likely to end up as offtopic.
That is correct, but I included it which is the 6th, that posters should not spam, spamming fit into this category.
