5061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: are you ready for the next ride on: September 02, 2019, 10:03:28 AM
at the moment the price of Bitcoin is still in stable and we don't know whether if bullish on Bitcoin will happen again then will Altcoin follow or not? of course I also hope that bulls should occur at the same stage in the market ( Bitcoin and Altcoin ) as at the end of years 2017 ago, but at the moment bullish only happens to Bitcoin and Alts doesn't follow.
This is a change of market trend, that's why bitcoin and the crypto market is known to be unpredictable.
Before, it's easy to guess because when BTC rises, altcoins followed, but now, until to date, altcoins are still not moving based on our expectations.

During the time of a bull run last 2017, I believe a lot of investors also bought altcoins as it's undeniably more profitable than bitcoin that time.
But then, when the correction strikes, things changes, what was a profitable investment have sink a lot losing more 80% or more of its value from its highest price.
5062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How high bitcoin cash price go? on: September 02, 2019, 09:29:26 AM
The highest it has gone during the past 3 years was around $20.000,

It's not 3 years yet, the ATH of BTC was achieved last Dec 2017 so after this year, it will a 2 years anniversary for that success.
We like to see a new ATH this year because that's very helpful for the entire market to recover, but we can't force people to invest to dictate the price to go up, we need some real good news that would consistently help bitcoin to rise again.

The highest we have this year was around $13K, so we only less than 100% increase from that price this year and knowing how hype bitcoin is, we can easily break to a new ATH if there's a FOMO going to happen this year.

Italy - Angola: 44-21 HT

Italians will win comfortably as expected, I bet on the over though so I need some high scoring 3 & 4 quarters now... Run n Gun, gogo Cheesy

The worse team in the bracket is Philippines and Angola, so I'm excited when they meet in their 3rd game.
I don't know which team is the better team but let's see what the betting odds will be when they face each other.

September 4 will be the schedule of Serbia against Italy, I think this is a good game, Serbia will be favorites for sure, but Italy is also a good team.
I am thinking of putting my bet on Italy against Serbia, this should be a great game, taking the moneyline so I could have great payout if lucky.

5064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 30, 2019, 11:11:20 PM
I don't know if there are any other team trying to recruit him, we haven't heard any for a few weeks now.

From what I've heard, the Knicks held a private/unofficial 5v5 workouts yesterday and Melo took part in those. I'd rather not see him again playing for the Knicks and that prick of an owner Dolan is.
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/carmelo-anthony-will-participate-in-informal-workouts-with-new-york-knicks-on-thursday-per-report/

Well isn't that interesting?  Grin Now that the Knicks have basically no one, I would not want Melo to spend his last few years there either. The Nets is the better option for him.

If Melo will be able to play along with KD and Irving and accept a lessor role, he might get compensated with a championship as whoever team Durant is playing has a chance to be an NBA champion. I believe Melo already know his current status now, he is not a star anymore, he struggle to get sign so it's already a blessing for him if he will be able to play with 2 of the greatest NBA players in the NBA, and those two players were once NBA champions.
5065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO IS ALIVE AND KICKING on: August 30, 2019, 10:43:21 PM
You are wrong. ICOs are dead. The next wave of successful token sales are IEOs. The most peofitable IEOs are on these exchanges: Huobi, Binance and ZB.
ICO might be dead soon, I don't know really the accurate current status of ICO now, but based on my observation, I haven't seen ICOs that are successful, most of the success are from IEO and I would agree with you that they are the next wave of successful tokens, some are maybe still hopeful about recovery of ICO but it's hard for them to recover when there's another platform that are already successful.

I'm thinking that with the success of IEO, this will improve and increase the number of exchanges to operate in the market, and that's a big growth in the industry.
5066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoin growth too slow? on: August 30, 2019, 10:07:28 PM
when btc itself is in slow growth we cant expect altcoins to grow fast we should wait and see how the market reacts to news and then take positions on altcoins
only a few altcoins can grow, it's also based on the ability of self-made updates. like BNB and other altcoins that start their own pumps without being affected by the market situation and the state of bitcoin. when altcoin should be able to create like that more it will create a better altcoin market.
BNB is expected to rise because people uses the exchange on a daily basis, other projects have different platform that takes time to develop or with less exposure in the market.

The old altcoin market is a better market, it was able to bring down the dominant rate of BTC because people trust them along wit bitcoin of course, but now, it's quite different because the last time (last bull run) they were overvalued, lots of investors bought at peak and was disappointed with the long correction happen in 2018 and until now maybe, so it takes time for investors to trust altcoins market in general again.
5067  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is KuCoin Becoming the Best Exchange for Trading? on: August 30, 2019, 07:01:43 AM
Hi Everyone!

I wrote up a nice review of KuCoin. I would love to hear your thoughts on the exchange and their features.

https://blog.shrimpy.io/blog/kucoin-review

Please let me know if you have any questions about the review!

People know may recommended KuCoin i don't use kucoin other hands more people are prefer that open trade kuCoin.
They do not add security and fake tokens thus reducing the risk of losing the consumer open account carefully reading Service or Term.
Yes KuCoin has been getting some good number of users lately but it does not mean it has outshined Binance in any way. The maximum number of traders are still on Binance and in my opinion, Binance is still the all-time favorite exchange because it has gotten more than 90% of the crypto traders and provide discount to traders as well.
Of course, no exchange could beat Binance now, though Binance is not number 1 in ranking (https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/)
But I believe that Binance are telling the real volume, other exchanges are faking their volume so they get a good ranking and I know traders know that, that's why they have more trust on Binance over other exchanges.
5068  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: August 30, 2019, 06:32:43 AM
Even if most of the replies in this thread says it is profitable if you don't try it, you will never your answer. There is no right and wrong answer if they say it is profitable or its not profitable. It depends on the market situation when you bought your coin. You can't always stick to day trading specially if the price suddenly dropped. You will be forced to switch from day trading to long term holding in some situation to gain profits.
Definitely they would say it's profitable because the you have more opportunity to trade due to market volatility but it doesn't matter everyone will be profitable, it is still depends on the skills in trading, if you have skills, you will likely become profitable.

People has to understand that day trading and long term trading both have risk, but comparing the two in terms of profitability, day trading is of course more profitable since you can maximize your income if you have the skills.
5069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: August 29, 2019, 10:54:32 PM

~snip
Though you are correct since there's a ruling that clarkson can't play without naturalizing him so the team chooses Blatche over him, mentioning those qualifications it's really hard to lose Blatche from the squad, he's dominance as the big man can play the opponents both inside and outside, it's still
better keeping him, if only FIBA allowed both Remy and Jordan then the chance might be much higher.

The goal is to compete and try to step forward if chances open it's door to move in to the second round.

I guess the rules will not be chance anytime soon, they have that rules in place now and if that will be reviewed, it might take years because they'll change it. Just support the Philippines team with their current line up now.

The Philippine National team didn't even have the proper preparation for the World Cup and judging on what I saw in the internet
Unfortunately they don't have as they have limited players, they are sending their best players from the PBA which the recent conference just ended this month. Their lack of preparation could be one of the factors that will make them loss in this biggest teams in FIBA, but as long as they fight to win, that will already make Filipinos proud as they already understand they have a very slim chances to win against any team in their bracket.
5070  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading full time on: August 29, 2019, 10:32:06 PM
this is a full analysis of what life should be about. we work to fulfill someone's dream not ours. i have been out of job for a year and and still contemplating on going back or not. i do trade but not full time i hope i can learn properly on how to trade to become a professional. then i can work with my savings and expenses.
I think to be a professional trader you must at least be a full-time trader because that way you prove that trading is a work that is highly prioritized for your life. But when you only trade part time you will not be able to become a professional trader, as the struggle should be the key to becoming a successful trader.
To be professional, you need to treat trading as your profession, when you are treating it as your profession, you have all your time focus on it.

This is your job actually, you consider it as a long term job for your long term journey where you develop your trading skills to be consistent and to be successful in the long run. I like this kind of job actually but I know my limitation, trading is not for everyone, it's only for those who have the passion and the skills to be successful and of course one should be a risk taker to consider this as a profession.
5071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Billionaires Discussing Bitcoin on: August 29, 2019, 12:36:19 PM
These are smart people and therefore they are clever, they would not be billionaires if they aren't .
What they are saying in public could be different on what they are really doing, so I won't fully trust what I heard from them in interviews in TV, I believe most of them if not all are investing in bitcoin silently.

I think there a lot of popular personalities that are publicly criticizing bitcoin but later they were found investing with bitcoin.
It's just their way of confusing the public so they can continue to accumulate at the cheaper price.
5072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: August 29, 2019, 12:02:10 PM
Wow!! I wasn't aware of any such restriction. Need to congratulate the FIBA for coming up with such a rule. Else many of the less talented teams would pack their squad with players from the United States and those teams who can't afford these players won't be able to qualify. I have seen this in cricket where many of the teams (such as Qatar, UAE, Singapore.etc) don't have a single citizen playing for them.
FIBA only allow one naturalized player to play so i think it does not have so much impact on the local players. From what i've seen, mostly teams from Asia have a naturalized player playing for them in the FIBA tournament. I think it is good for the low ranking teams to have one because that imported player will bring another level of competition within the team itself.
Philippines have been sending players with naturalised citizenship and we have seen the impact already as they have been doing really good specially in the Asian region. They are now in the top 25-30 based on the last ranking. But I would rather have Clarkson as well included in their line up to increased their chance at least.

I'm not surprised the Serbia and US are the team to beat. Although Australia beat US in the last exhibition match, there could be other teams that should take the 3 spot like Spain and Greece.
They can't have both and the team chooses blatche over clarkson as they need a center who can dominate.
Philippines have 7 footers as well, but they are slow unlike Blatche who is an almost all around player, he knows how to dribble, drive, and even shoot 3's,  local centers are more like post up players.

I think without clarkson, there are other players that will step up as every FIBA tournament  they have new players added in their squad, so let's see if the new players will be able to contribute in this game.
5073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Dominance on CoinMarketCap on: August 29, 2019, 11:23:32 AM
BTC will dominate the CMC for a very long time, in the near future I do not see a worthy competitor for it
Bitcoin is well known and also the prime one on this platform, cryptocurrency is not based on season but based on dominance, it won't change in Bitcoin case since Bitcoin already used publicly for exchanging in fiat or real money also considered as a permanent part of cryptohub, all coins don't match to the popularity and use of bitcoin.
Bitcoin has never stopped dominating the market, probably its dominant rate has drop during the bull run or altcoins season but it remains the most dominant coin in the market. Some are saying that the dominant rate written in https://coinmarketcap.com/ is lower compared to the actual dominant rate, and I will agree with that since we have more OTC transactions of bitcoins that are not listed in the site above.

As bitcoin is not yet showings signs of bullish movement, we can expect that BTC dominant rate will continue to rise as people are also afraid of putting their money in altcoins now.
5074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest sportsbook there is? on: August 28, 2019, 11:01:05 AM
What particular games you like? Maybe you can ask them to add it or maybe post it here so we can help you find a sportsbook.
Sportsbet is a good site actually, I'm happy using it because all the games I like is available in this sportsbook.

Try cloudbet, they have variety of games and I think they also don't require KYC like sportsbet, also I like to add nitrogensports.
5075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Huobi vs BNB on: August 28, 2019, 10:35:12 AM
BNB is no more ERC-20 token like Huobi Token, so you can use BNB in more diffrent ways.
HT is hyped now due to IEOs on Huobi platform, but as soon the hype around IEOs ends, price will back to normal.
Both are hype actually, but BNB gets more hype as they have more investors compared to Houbi AFAIK.
It's normal to see this hype since IEO is not yet spread in big number of exchanges, only few exchanges including the 2 are gaining the trust of the people, if we compare this with ICO, this is the early stage of ICO and IEO is expected to rise as more exchanges will gain the trust of the investors.
5076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My greatest crypto regret on: August 28, 2019, 06:58:40 AM
My biggest regret is joining this forum late and if I look back again I will be very sorry for not buying cheap bitcoin as people say from the price of $ 150 - $ 200, I don't know that eventually the price of bitcoin will double like the current price this.
You don't have to be sorry with that, no one knows what the future will be, you should be thankful your are finally here as although the price is not anymore at the range you mentioned, there' still more room to grow in the future.

If you are bullish about the future, just search some articles that says about the future prediction of experts, some even predict the price will hit $1 million per BTC and I think that's realistic given BTC is limited in supply and the demand will eventually increase.
5077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs 2019: A Year Of Success or Failure? on: August 28, 2019, 06:28:34 AM
There are still many such projects. As a hunter, I can say that as before, 90% do not bring profit to the hunter and the projects are closed. And successful projects try to cheat and refuse to pay. Or pay with coins that can not be used.
That success your are talking is only temporary, they are still scammers and they have no future in crypto.

Our basis in crypto on why we invest in a certain project is because they have a reputation and next only is the potential, so if they will cheat the bounty hunters, it's like they are destroying their reputation, don't believe in this project because they are just out to scam people and who knows the amount raise is not really the real amount raise, it could be a fake one.
5078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 28, 2019, 06:15:54 AM
Theres always a chance for them to team up. The real question is, can KD play the way he did before the injury? I mean that was a major injury right there, most of the player who had a major injury are struggling for recovery and might end up in an early retirement.

That's not good, KD already had Irving and if he comes back playing his old self, they had a chance to win championships.
KD leave Warriors because he don't want to play with a superteam, he wanted to prove again in another team and Him and Irving are like Lebron and Irving in the Cleveland days and I think Durant is even better.

They could team up to get another ring, but we need to see the full damage of his injury first and see if he can comeback just like his old self. KD leaves the Warriors because he was chasing for his ring and now that he accomplished it, time for him to move and partner with other elite players like Irving. It could be Irving and Lebron again, but it is too early to call as KD needs to recovery physically and mentally after that devastating injury.
You are right, it's hard to expect that KD will can still play like his old self because according to experts, that injury is a serious one and the fact that he was  our for the entire next season, that means his injury requires him a lot of time to recovery.
5079  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance KYC leak hack or not? on: August 27, 2019, 10:12:02 AM
Not sure if this twitter handle was posted before, but you can follow the hacker here: https://twitter.com/BnatovP
That guy seems to be gaining followers, maybe I'll start following him also to see if my name is leaked in his tweet, but the way info is posted, it seems like he has more data to show publicly.

From what I've read, seems like the hacker was semi-reasonable, yet binance wasn't willing to play ball.
How do you think Binance suppose to play with the hacker? Is it right that Binance will just pay the hacker? I think that would not solve the problem, though this is just a piece of information and no money involve, Binance reputation are well affected here, those who sees there names displayed will surely not gonna use the service again.
5080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: August 27, 2019, 09:56:05 AM
Surely success in gambling needs hard work you will have to spend time in improving your skills you will have to collect informative things which can lead you to success in gambling. Nothing comes without pain you will give your time so that you will be rewired so keep your stamina high and work as hard as you can to polish your gaming skills.
I will not treat gambling as hard work. I consider this to be intellectual work. And everything that is done in such work should be done with pleasure.
That's the right way to do because gambling if we consider seeking for profit needs us to be smart.
It's a kind of venture where we can use the popular sayings "work smart not hard" , however, due to the fact that we don't have the edge on the odds offered, most of us just loss in the long run, this is a very hard way of making money, those who succeed are people who are gifted.

Only a few people who can get those gifted, the rest of them cannot get the same thing. No matter how smart we are, we still need that gift aka luck to help us to win in gambling. I agree that we should do "work smart not hard" but it very hard to do in real life. Maybe we can say that the hard work in the gambling games will be spending the money to roll the bets or to play gambling games in some period, learning the lesson to have more skills, having much experience in gambling.
In life there is no such thing as easy if we want to achieve something, yes, it's hard but as long as it's possible to be profitable in gambling, those who aim for success should not easily give up if they believe in their selves than they can be a successful gambler.

As for me, I have already give up that dream a long time ago, I still think that I can make money sometimes but since I learn my lessons, I know how to handle myself in gambling, I'm more on focus on the fun than the aim to be consistent as I'm not gifted like the other gamblers.
