Luckily I bought most of my bitcoin and altcoins already last year, so I am still in profit ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . The market nowadays is very volatile, so I am not buying anything until the price stabilizes a little bit.

I didn't know that there exist ICOs that paid out dividends. This can be interesting if it is a legit project and I would prefer to receive the dividend in fiat. The problem will be finding such a legit ICO that pays out a (nice dividend) and that can grown in the next couple of months/years.

I am not a big golf fan, but very nice to see Tiger Woods back! He has done some crazy things in the past and hopefully he can now focus 100% on the sport. If he can do that, than no doubt he can win a couple of tournaments.

[snip] Yes, I got the same response when I tried it. I was doing some testing for a strategy I wanted to implement, but the high transaction fees will cancel all the gain that I would have received from this. The strategy require frequent deposits and withdrawals from the site. < You get interest on your balance, without the risk of storing large amounts of coins for long periods on the site. >
We tell people not to store large amounts of coins on exchanges, but we should trust a faucet that we know very little about? ^not^
the withdrawal fees from the site is currently 40 satoshi for Slow withdrawals which will happen in less than 6 hours in my experience and the instant withdrawals which will be in next block only costs 598 satoshi. what is the high transaction fees you are talking about? about the investment, like any other place there is always a risk so you have to come up with a risk/reward ratio that you are most comfortable with and do that. you obviously can never fully trust anyone but based on the long history of this site and the fact that they are actually mining I think it can be trusted a little at least! I had up to 1 BTC invested there at some point which I withdrew with only 40 satoshi fee ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I still have some more and had different amounts there for profit for a long time now. What is the risk to have when you placing any amount on freebitco.in site? I believe it is not the same as pther investment which there is always up and down trend depends on gambler. They give us only interests which is I can say this is like a bank system. So if we store certain amount it gives the exactly 4.08% interest so i would think that to put 1 btc there. They give us pretty good amount in a month without doing anything First time seeing someone to compare online wallets with banks. These sites can close anytime without any notice so I suggest people never store huge amounts in any of the online wallets. Yes, currently they are very trusted and paying everyone for a very long time but this will not give any assurance for the future. 4% in the crypto world is not that high so I don't take a risk to store my coins in any of the online wallets. Yes, because this is almost the same as bank system. And you guys thought that bank can't be hacked? People just do no want to, if bank untraceable then they might do it for their own good I believe. I think this is the only site that give us some annual interest which is 4% and this is quite good thing. Freebitco.in sure is old site but still if someone prefer to store it then they already know the risk to put some amount there Banks can be hacked for sure, but in case that happens you are covered. If my bank account (Belgium bank) got hacked for example for 50k$, than my bank is obliged to pay that money back to me. In case freebitco.in got hacked, I don't know if we will see our money back...

Bitcoin price is very volatile this last couple of days and is now struggling to find a new support. Price increase last year was not realistic and price has since then dropped a lot, but it is in my eyes not a bubble. If it would be, price will drop to as low as 1000$ or even lower.

An excellent guide by forum member Loyce on bitcoin forks and how to claim them can be found here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2836875.0Bitcoin forks can indeed be lucrative, but most of the time, many forks are not supported by many exchanges and wallets

Hi Kraken, I have a question about the withdrawal information my bank receives when I initiate a SEPA withdrawal to them from Kraken. My bank has told me multiple times that they don't see where the money comes from.
All the banks I used to withdraw EUR from Kraken told me the same thing and some closed my account because of this. Is there a way that you guys could address this and like mention in the withdrawal details that the money comes from my account and add my name in there?
If my name could appear there, then that would be perfect. Please let me know, since this is a very important issue for me and many others I believe.
Like let's take this example:
Initiator's bank reference: 5xxxxxx6
Orderer's reference: NOTPROVIDED.
***QUESTIONS***
1. Could I somehow add my name to the "Initiator's bank reference" field? 2. Also for the "Orderer's reference" field, can I add a message like "hey, it's me mark".
Please let me know since this may help prevent closing my bank account.
Hello markd I understand that this can be a problem with your bank. Why don't you let one of our agents help you with that? Follow the link provided by Kraken-Septimus (see below) and a specialist will assist you. Could you please open a ticket here and escalate that ticket using /forms/2VolutBY6HBGJRRA3]this form? Please describe in as much detail as possible what had happened. Thank you for letting us know about this.
I was planning to withdraw some money from kraken, but I am now hesitating after reading this message. Why would we need to open a ticket and escalate it ? Kraken should need to add some more details to avoid any problems afterwards...

This seems to me an obvious ponzi scheme ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) . A daily interest of 19.2% and we should believe that this site is real, serious and paying? There is no place on this forum for this ponzis!

here are the possible quarter-finals of the Indian Wells tournament (Atp1000):
Federer vs Thiem/Chung Dimitrov vs Kyrgios/K.Anderson
A.Zverev vs Sock/Pouille Cilic vs Del Potro/Djokovic/Nishikori
For me there will be a final between Federer and A.Zverev. Interesting to see the returns of Raonic, Djokovic and Nishikori.
I want to see Federer facing Chung , it would be a great contest because Chung's defence is amazing and he is agressive too like Federer . I am guessing , it will be a djoker Federer finals. It would be nice to see a final of Federer vs Djokovic, but I think this tournament comes too soon for Djokovic as I don't think he is 100% fit. Yes. He came back to soon as he fell to Taro Daniel. I had to look up what his name was cause I haven't heard of him before today. Alot of major players have fallen this tournament. And Federer almost had everybody having a heart attack this afternoon with his match as it went way longer than his normally needed to dispatch a low level player compared to his status on the ATP circuit. Who else is yet to fall before round three begins? ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) Taro who? I also never heard of this player before, most probably the biggest win of his career ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) . It is strange that many top seeds are struggling right now. We could have a surprising winner of the Indian Wells if this trend continues.

I see bitcoin as something extras besides my main income that I earn by doing a real life job. The amount I earn with bitcoin by participating in campaigns, twitter bounties,... is not much but it is a nice surplus.

Ok so I've invested around $3600 in the following and would like to know people's views on whether I've made a wise decision and what sort of profit/loss I could expect.
I want to earn as much as I can and as such have gone high risk high reward. If I lose it all, so what....this is gambling essentially. I plan on holding for at least a year
VeChain (VEN) 35% Oyster Pearl (PRL) 30% CPChain (CPC) 20% TheKey (TKY) 15%
Very risky move! Did you do some proper research before investing in these coins or did you just listen to some random guy on the internet who said that these 4 coins will explode soon ? With this portfolio your profit can be very high or you could also loose everything.

LOTTERY ROUND 145 This round, the winner with the lowest number of tickets is #3 with 895 tickets. #1 won 1.25606653 BTC with 4,104 tickets.
Could this be the round with the highest ever number of tickets? The total of tickets was 468,714,529 , a quite impressive number!

I would suggest you to do your own research and not listen to what everyone on here will say, because you will get a lot replies with a lot of different opinions. Why would you want to invest in ICO sites? To gain a quick profit ? Most of these ICOs are scam, so good luck finding a legit one...

A basic rule in investing is spreading your investments and not putting everything in one basket. While the HEXX coin might have some nice features, I would not haven the same risk as you.

At this moment, it is not yet possible to deposit or withdraw BTCP on the exchanges that support this fork (such as Kucoin or Tradesatoshi).
it looks like tradesatoshi is a go and the price is doing the inevitable. man, there's some strange people out there in alt markets. i simply don't understand who would've been buying these futures when deposits could open up at any moment. as soon as that happens your money goes up in smoke. Thanks for the info on tradesatoshi! There are always some people who will buy shitcoins when they see the price going up and up. It is a hard lesson to learn, but it will open their eyes (hopefully ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) )

the house edge of the multiply BTC hi-lo games is just too high that i lost my around 23.000 satoshi the good side is that those are from free claim and from playing the game. the bad thing is I lost about two months effort ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) What I don't really get is that many people on here complain that they lost many satoshis on the dice game, but: A: that is gambling B: the house edge is high on freebitco.in (which has been mentioned several times on this topic already) If you don't want to loose your money, just keep claiming from the faucet and enjoy the interest you receive.

I think at the moment the prices are too volatile to really profit from trading. You could make some profit, if you follow the market very closely, buy at every dip and sell whenever the dip is over.
