5081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 2500$ can invest [SEQ] coin now on: January 19, 2018, 12:38:17 PM
Definitely put some in bitcoin, and some in top alts. Take your pick after researching them, but ETH and XRP (Ripple) are both solid bets. After that take your pick among smaller cap coins, but I would say to avoid the very small coins as these are easy for whales to manipulate (pump and dump).
5082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: my friend is neo millionaire with yacht and lambo AMA on: January 18, 2018, 11:41:24 AM
Regardless of whether the story is true or not, Walton does look like a solid bet. Marketcap is still quite low.

Do people really buy lambos if they cash out with $ millions? Given that we are all such shrewd investors, if we're buying lambos we need to buy second-hand ones with high mileage so that the value doesn't depreciate so quickly Wink
5083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to the crypto market after five years? on: January 18, 2018, 10:40:34 AM
Crypto market is gaining day by day.If we look back before 1 year it has grown a lot for a one year. What would happen to it in next 5 years? How much market cap it could achieve?.Please give your ideas...

Well into the trillions I think. There is a lot of room left for growth. There's a good chart somewhere (can't find the link, sorry) showing all the money in the world. Crypto at the moment is a tiny fraction of what it could become.
5084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the decline continue? on: January 18, 2018, 08:40:31 AM
There are signs that the recovery has started, but it's still too early to tell for definite. If we can get through today with stable prices then it will look good. Still it is easy to guess but very difficult to predict accurately.
5085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who sold their bitcoins? or HOLDing ? on: January 18, 2018, 08:25:52 AM
Did ppl sell of all thr bitcoins or sold some and kept some,  or ppl are still hodling it , weathering this bitcoin crash storm !

Holding. I don't have access to trading for a large part of the day, and the market is too volatile at the moment to leave open buy and sell orders. I'm confident that prices will rise again, and it is too risky for me to trade.
5086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So since everything is down any good investments?? on: January 17, 2018, 12:37:09 PM
There are plenty of good coins to pick from, all available at a discount at the moment. Take your pick - but be wary of those that had peaked and were dipping anyway. So do a bit of price analysis on each coin that you're thinking of buying. Did it start to dip before the whole market drop?
5087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Guys. we have to boycott HITBTC. Withdraw too expensive Read the News here on: January 17, 2018, 10:51:28 AM
That's ridiculous and counter-productive. They will lose a lot of customers if this is the new rule. I really don't understand why an exchange would introduce something that would lose them money. I already found hitbtc annoying anyway as you can only trade in round numbers, so I have loads of tiny value coins on there.
5088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does removal of BTC from trading pairs stop or decrease altcoins from crashing? on: January 17, 2018, 10:35:36 AM
I think the alts would still crash. There are a lot of ERC20 coins that you can only trade against ETH on EtherDelta - and these still fell.
Even if it's an alt that you can only trade for fiat, I think people would still cash out.
5089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hey Whales, hey Sth Korea... on: January 16, 2018, 11:19:37 AM
EAT ME. Stop messing with the markets you greedy f*cks.

We're HODLING!

Thanks, I needed some humour today Smiley
Seriously though yes - trade if you are good at it, hold if you aren't.
I'm holding.
5090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hey Whales, hey Sth Korea... on: January 16, 2018, 10:59:10 AM
The market plunge today has been a huge overamplification of minor negative news. It shows how jumpy the markets are in general. I've heard that it happens every January, but this is quite extreme even for crypto.
Trade if you're good at it, hold if you're not.
5091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking for a long term coin on: January 15, 2018, 03:27:29 PM
I have 500$, i'm kind of a short term trader, but now i dont have much time for it
Please suggest me some alt for holding (about 2-3months), one of my opinion is ADA, is it possible?

Difficult to say as it depends how much risk you want to take. ETH would be good. For a bit more risk maybe Walton. There are plenty to choose from, but I'd avoid those that have had a mega pump recently - so I'd probably stay away from XRP, ADA, TRX, IOTA.
5092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO VS ETH on: January 15, 2018, 10:15:38 AM
Will NEO be next ETH in crypto currency world? What is the main reason for going up NEO drastically?

It is a good project, but we all know that a lot of crypto prices are based on hype - and NEO has its fair share.
Yes, it has more room to grow than ETH does, but ETH is also the first mover.
5093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why every coin dumping now? I am losing huge money on: January 15, 2018, 09:50:04 AM
What is happening in crypto world? Every Altcoins are dumping now, I am new but I have some good worthy coins. Now I am losing huge money for this dumping.

What should I do now? I am very worry about it.

Once you've been here a while, you won't be worried. Crypto is very volatile, plenty of ups and plenty of downs as well. Often there is a tendency for the whole market to move as one, which has nothing to do with the particular coin you hold - the slightest bit of news or rumour can sending everything flying up or down.

Just hold and don't panic. After a while you'll learn to spot the trends and (sometimes) understand why the prices are moving - which is where trading opportunities arise.
5094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there still hope for TRX? on: January 15, 2018, 09:15:24 AM
The bubble has obviously popped with this coin, but it is still worth vastly more than a few months ago. I guess it will continue to fall but then bounce back up a bit. Difficult to say whether to sell now or not - obviously better if you sold at ATH, but there's an opportunity to sell now and maybe buy back later when the price hits bottom.
5095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta Token sale, will you buy it? on: January 12, 2018, 08:56:33 AM
Etherdelta is running a token sale, will you buy it and do you think is worth it. Why don't they focus on security of the website first , People have complained after the website compromised of their stolen tokens and Ethers yet nothing is done, and here they are running a token sale.

No, I don't really trust EtherDelta any more, and I use it as little as possible and never keep anything on there long-term. I think the reputation damage they have suffered is very difficult to recover from. I wouldn't buy their token.
5096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP or XLM on: January 12, 2018, 08:37:19 AM
I would probably go with XRP (but you could also split 50-50 and have both).
XRP has shown that it can hit a much higher price than it is at currently, so there is definitely room for growth.
5097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: January 11, 2018, 01:17:35 PM
Both, but I prefer Ethereum. It will very likely be moving to proof of stake this year, amongst other improvements. Ethereum without bottlenecks and with ever-increasing adoption would give a big price increase.
5098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My TOP 5 Alt Coins UNDER $0.01 To Make You RICH in 2018! on: January 11, 2018, 09:58:51 AM
Cool list to check out, the only coin I know from this list is DNC coin and it has a very bright future in my opinion.
But don't be confused, DNC(DentaCoin) may sounds cheap, but it has 325 billion tokens in circulation, which makes it's total market cap to be 1.2 Billion dollar, which is quite crazy.

You should make your list based on market caps, not based on price, because the market cap may look low, but if there are more tokens in circulation, it makes the market cap to skyrocket, and to look far above what you expected it to be.

Yes, I agree. The reason that Dentacoin looks far better than the others is that it is far better, which is reflected in its high market cap. Individual coin price isn't relevant unless you take supply into account as well.
5099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I just became a millionaire on: January 10, 2018, 11:43:45 AM
The big lesson of this thread for me is if you believe in the project then don't sell any bounties or airdrops. Too many times I have been guilty of selling tokens in order to load up on Ethereum or Bitcoin. I will really think from now on before I sell any smaller coins.
5100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA OR XRB? on: January 09, 2018, 11:04:42 AM
Really difficult to say, they've both gone up hugely recently. I would probably go with Raiblocks out of the two, but I'm not sure if it's over-hyped at the moment.
