5081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 10, 2019, 10:38:25 AM
I saw Chelsea linked with Higuain, I know he’s getting older but he would be a good stop gap signing. He is certainly better thsn Morata.

I had great faith in Morata when he first signed for Chelsea. But he seems inefficient for the team and the attack is where Chelsea lacks right now. I watched him in the FA Cup game against Nottingham and he seemed to have so low morale. He even scored twice two wonderful goals and he didn't celebrate. I think he is going to go back to Span during the summer transfer period.

Let's see what Higuain can bring to the squad.
5082  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it good to recruit other person to join Blockchain technology? on: January 10, 2019, 10:34:17 AM
I think majority of people here are very selfish ,. Believe it or not. They are hiding and choose not to tell to the other person especially to their neighbors what is cryptocurrency all about.
They don't want to spread the mechanism of it. And that is very wrong for me.
We must encourage people who have no idea to the cryptos. Teach them how to use and explain what is the benefits of it.
This is also for the good of our industry .
Remember the status of cryptocurrencies as of now is endangered and the value of bitcoins is gradually dropping .
So, the good thing to do is to spread out the operation of Blockchain technology.

I am of the same opinion that we need to get more people involved in the crypto space. I always tell the people around me what this is about and how the can be involved, but listen to what is the best way to make them be part of us.

When I want to buy a gift for someone I buy some crypto and store them in a paper wallet. Then I give it like a gift card into an envelope and it is up to them to "discover" their gift. In the end, it is a value that can be used for some reason and believe me... it has a great success rate!
5083  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: January 10, 2019, 10:28:09 AM
looking at this graph form previous months makes me wonder if bitcoin ureally reached its moon and now on its less volatile state. As we can see, Bitcoin is roughly playing on the $3500-3800 value and it has reached $4000 just a couple of days ago. BUt needless to say, bitcoin is now on its way to a stable value while many of us, including me that someday this year, bitcoin will once again land on the moon.

Just think that bitcoin reached 20k when little people were aware of it. After this boom everyone started to show interest in digital assets. I think 2018 was a corrective year that helped BTC stabilize its value (even though it is still high in my opinion). It hasn't mooned yet, it has a great potential to hit a price higher than 20k, maybe doubling this all time high.
5084  Economy / Economics / Re: All times are good to enter crypto - Tim Draper on: January 10, 2019, 10:19:44 AM
I disagree that all times are good for entering Cryptocurrency.
As it doesn't make any logical sense to tell an investor or trader who plans to invest for short term purposes to just buy no matter the price.
Except otherwise , the person is planning for long term hold.....then you can buy any time.

I totally agree with you. There is still profit for long-term investments if you manage to get into crypto anytime.
However, I truly believe that even for short-term planning, there is a good possibility of entering now as well. The market has faced a significant downturn and now it is the time to go up again. I think positive signs are going to appear in early 2019.
5085  Economy / Economics / Re: You were warned on: January 10, 2019, 09:42:34 AM
Hopefully, I am very happy that I find someone who shares the same opinion as I do.
I believe that the next crisis is near and it is inevitable. After these years of growth in the Stock Markets and the continuous increasing growth rate of the global economy, we should not overcome the fact that the bubble is gonna blow.
The best option that individuals have to do is to pay any debt and try to save their money value in assets that will not be affected by the crisis such as Bitcoin.
5086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: January 09, 2019, 05:51:17 PM
By seeing myself I can say that addiction is strongly correlated with Loneliness or sadness. I can see myself gambling when I don't have something to do or I am at home watching sports and betting on matches. Also, I have felt that I gamble when I am sad and I want to make an achievement for me even if this is winning a bet and getting some money (even if this sounds funny!).

Another example was that I was gambling a lot when I faced a relationship break up. It made me not thinking about other things and kept me busy.
Until you realized that you want to continue gambling everyday and that makes you more addict on that. We should know how to fight loneliness in the right way, because gambling is not a good choice and maybe you will be more stress if you keep on playing wig big money. I feel sad sometimes and I just play dota, after that back to my normal life.

It depends on the person and their different stimuli through their lifetime. I don't see being addicted to gambling. Like you did that you play video games, I do gamble. Everyone has his own way to recover his mind back to normal.
5087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to quit? Here's how on: January 09, 2019, 01:22:37 PM
Not sure what you are talking about. I guess its about quitting gambling. To be honest, its easier to write "How to quit gambling" then to do actually do it. You can't just "WANT" to quit and stop forever. There is a reason why it is addiction, you don't want to do it but you still do it.
You just can't go cold turkey when trying to quit. You will need some help. Better to take help from someone else regarding this matter.

Supporting each other is the best way to help someone quit it for real. I think that we should give advice from our past experience and share it here in the forum in order to make people believe that there is a true solution and an exit way for gambling addiction.

This is what I personally try to do and I will continue to do it because it makes me happy to see that people can find redemption via my pieces of advice.
5088  Economy / Economics / Re: Sick and tired of the cryptocurrency bullshit!!! on: January 09, 2019, 12:58:44 PM
I can’t even begin to imagine how many times I have though to myself this very exact same thing!
Fact of the matter remains the same from Day 1 that cryptocurrency is not intended to be an overnight success.
Sure- there are people who made a lot of profit by being early adopters and miners but if you find yourself becoming this frustrated, then it might just honestly be a good time to either take a break or remove yourself from this environment entirely.  We hear very disturbing stories at times about poor decisions people have made in the past.

If you are feeling at all these types of ways, stay away from cryptocurrency for a while.
If for any reason- for your own good health.

I guess you felt the same as OP but you kept hodling your assets, right? Didn't you get rewarded by all this time that you waited for your investment to pay off? It is all about keeping your patience and your stress levels low.
5089  Economy / Economics / Re: PREDICTION IS SOMETIMES LIKE A FALSE PROMISE on: January 09, 2019, 12:24:15 PM
Totally right! I remember there were a lot of topics in November about users prediction of bitcoin's price by the end of the year. And it was hard to predict bitcoin's move a month far. All of those analysts and calculations lead us novhere, cause of bitcoin seemed unpredictable.
Even if one of them got it correctly it won't lead us anywhere and it's expected that most of them aren't accurate.
~

That's right, out of many predictions some become true, but it doesn't mean they were made by people who really knew what's going to happen. To me, it's more like a lottery, when someone wins we shouldn't think he/she is an expert who knows how to pick the right numbers. What I find funny is that people saying, Bitcoin market is unpredictable, as if Stock Market is. If it was so no one would be working anymore, but would be only buying the "right stocks" becoming wealthier and wealthier.

Bitcoin is unpredictable because it can't be manipulated. On the contrary, there are many indications of stocks that can show how they are going to move and not only by just looking at historical trends at the charts.
If the CEO of a company decides to close a department then the stock price is going to fall. Do you think the same is going to happen if a node decides to shut down?
5090  Economy / Economics / Re: Paper Money - The Greatest Scam on: January 09, 2019, 11:27:09 AM
I am agree that paper money or fiat are greatest scam. Central Banks print from thin air and they lend it to people or government with interest. It will creating inflation and people will always to work to pay the interest. I think economic system base on gold standart is good and can replace current system

Paper money is strongly correlated with gold. An economic system based on Gold cannot be created anymore. Gold is reserved in federal banks and people have little to no access to it. Thus, it doesn't provide an equal society where every individual has the same chances of acquiring a gold bar.
Crypto is much better as it is fully decentralized and all the actors can behave the same.
5091  Economy / Economics / Re: Top 10 Reasons Why Bitcoin Is Falling Down on: January 09, 2019, 09:41:20 AM
the thing I hate the most is Fomo and Fud. this happens many times and causes panic.
the market responds very quickly and social media contributes to it so the market responds quickly.

This is the point of Rampant market manipulations. I can say that partially I like these manipulations but only when the price fluctuates a little and not in big volumes.
I think the price of Bitcoin is going to recover but in a long-term period. Maybe at the end of 2019, we are going to see that it will be stabilized around 10k and we will head for the next milestone.
5092  Economy / Economics / Re: McAfee Says Crypto Mining Malware Increased 4,000% in 2018 on: January 09, 2019, 09:22:03 AM
The 2018 McAfee Labs Threat Report in December has shown a massive increase in crypto mining malware activity this year that is in the 4,000% region.

The report shows that the sharp rises began in the final quarter of 2017 through the first quarter of 2018. During the second quarter of the year, the figures dropped and then jumped again between the second and third quarter,

The figures have shown that crypto-criminals are now targeting miners with new cryptojacking malware. Crypto mining malware rose 71% in Q3 of 2018 alone according to McAfee. Criminals have been targeting those who use “routers or IoT devices such as IP cameras or video recorders as crypto miners” because they lack security and have weak CPUs.

McAfee also discussed a few examples of how crypto-criminals were exploiting the users of messenger services such as Telegram, Discord, and Slack to infect their computers with mining malware.

Every individual that is cautious doesn't need to be afraid of such malware. If you are aware of how the crypto system works then you can spot any malicious activity that happens.
McAfee tries to promote his products as he has discovered a new market with great potential for his company that may lead to big profits if it grows bigger.
5093  Economy / Economics / Re: When the government forbids cryptocurrency on: January 09, 2019, 09:17:44 AM
When the government forbids cryptocurrency

In my country, the government is gradually apply internet and cryptocurrency control decrees. Previously, they banned direct Bitcoin transactions. Currently, they are banning crypto-related bank transfers. And of course, ICOS is also gradually banned .
Initially, they said they would not ban crypto and bitcoin. But now their actions show that they do not want crypto to exist.
Is their purpose not to secure crypto investors? They are trying to make it their own
They see huge profits being lost for themselves
And when the internet management program took place in my country, maybe I could not come up here to share my views like this. So sad

It’s not every government that supports cryptocurrency. It is already banned in so many countries, but I’m happy that’s not the same for my country.

Here the government is not against Bitcoin, a lot of people are still investing in Bitcoin. I don’t think there is anything you can do about this, unless you will find something like a VPN solution, something like that that can help you to continue to access crypto sites even after they apply such rules.

Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies can be regulated, but not banned. It cannot be banned in a decentralized ecosystem. Even the solution you gave with the VPN tells that!
There are many ways to be involved in the crypto. The difficult part comes when the crypto and fiat world needs to be connected in order to do the transition.
5094  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock Market Will Have ‘Good Year’ in 2019: Wharton Finance Prof. on: January 09, 2019, 09:10:36 AM
While the US stock market continues to struggle as a result of various institutional and political forces, Jeremy Siegel, professor of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, remains optimistic about the state of the market in 2019.

Speaking in an interview on CNBC’s Squawk on the Street, Siegel predicted that equity markets in the United States would have “a good year,” rising in the range of 5 to 15 percent.

We went from a rosy view to now, ‘Oh my God, there’s going to be a recession.’ The truth will be somewhere in between, and that leaves the stock market very attractive now.

Using the current valuations levels, he said that even if there is no growth in earnings this year, the current realities make it a “cheap market.” He acknowledged that a recession could drag the already-battered markets a bit, but he maintained that this wasn’t going to happen.

CCN | https://www.ccn.com/stock-market-will-have-good-year-in-2019-wharton-finance-prof/

I believe that there will be a recession for sure during 2019. The global economy overperformed in 2018 with not an exact specific reason. Asia moves the trend but in other places around the world, there are still huge problems that push these countries behind. The real impact on the global rates are not yet illustrated and I think this will happen with a significant downturn in 2019.
Hopefully, people will turn to cryptocurrencies in order to store the value of their assets.
5095  Economy / Economics / Re: Money creation system - is bitcoin creation resistant? on: January 08, 2019, 06:49:55 PM
So you are saying that the traditional money creation system is worthy and you want to bring it in a decentralized ecosystem?

No advantage stems from the bank money creation. It does only create bigger liabilities and debt. I see no reason to implement this feature to the currenct ecosystem.
5096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: January 08, 2019, 03:15:26 PM
Rated PSG a long time, there were team work based giant killers. Now they have a few giants of their own.
Think about Neymar jr. He can change any equation. Think of Mbappe, young skilled. His speed can crash any defense. France was a good team but Mbappe played the key role to win the world cup for France

PSG has very good chance to win the match against Manchester United.

I don't like PSG, as I think they have the money to create a better squad than the current one. I think that a barrier may be that players do not consider the French League so competitive so they are discouraged to make a transfer there. Apart from that, I can agree that PSG has a great chance to win against Manchester United. Man. Utd still tries to find their pace after Mourinho left and i think they still need time to do so.
5097  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: January 08, 2019, 03:05:43 PM
impossible, because until now crypto has not been approved and it is difficult for crypto to be approved and used as a means of payment.

Impossible is nothing!
All the revolutionary innovations didn't take place in the society very fast. It is needed time in order to be established in the real world. The new generation has already embraced the idea of crypto transactions as they can think of their benefits. However, there is still a huge portion of people who doesn't believe in crypto. We are gonna change their opinion but it needs time to do it.
5098  Economy / Economics / Re: HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE NEXT BULL RUN 2019 on: January 08, 2019, 11:31:23 AM
I think there is no preparation when bull run coming. If we keep patient and planning to hold for long term and collecting more coin at this moment, i am believe we will make big profits. Hopely 2019 will be a good year for cryptocurrency market

Every phase needs preparation as we were prepared for the bear market that we suffered all the way in 2018.
I will just try to keep my emotions and feelings calm and make logical decisions. The best time is to buy now and never buy in the bull market (my personal experience shows that this leads to losing 80%)
Let's make some profits this year. We all deserve that, for all the patience we did in 2018!
5099  Economy / Economics / Re: If you had 10000$ on: January 08, 2019, 11:14:57 AM
If you had 10000$ where would you invest it?  I'm hoping for 10x in about 2 years, how would you personally split that money? There are so many altcoins that I dont know which to pick, I remember the top 5 altcoins from years ago and  now they are all gone, so should I only invest in  BTC end ETH or others like NEO, ADA and EOS?

Altcoins is not a good investment these days especially after all those scams that happened in 2018. People are afraid of investing in them and many projects don't reach their financial goals and they collapse so this is not a good choice. Better buy something more stable like one of the Top10 cryptos that have a great potential to give more in the society.
5100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 08, 2019, 11:06:28 AM
Some new transfers/rumours:

- Bayern Munich keen on Hudson-Odoi (Chelsea)

Hudson-Odoi is a great player. Chelsea should not leave him go as they have problems in the attacking part right now and he can contribute a lot in their endeavors to get a place for the Champions League next year. They can send them on loan but he is very talented and Chelsea should not make the same mistake as they did with Romelu Lukaku.

He’s very, very young. His career could still to either way, he needs to be at a club where he will play. You can’t develop as a young player if you’re rotting on the bench. I hope he makes the right decision.

I can't see how you think he is going to play in Bayern and not in Chelsea. Bayern has a full squad right now and I believe there are more chances of getting benched if he moves to Munchen. Chelsea is in a worse position and they have to reform their squad if they want to be competitive again and fight for the EPL next year.
