5081  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Kaspersky and INTERPOL Say Blockchain is Vulnerable on: April 11, 2015, 11:51:53 PM
However, I don't really know how they spawned a notepad from block chain in the victim's computer. Does anyone know the details?
They didn't, and it didn't say they did.

All this is saying is that they can put data inside OP_RETURNS which other malicious software can act on.  This is one of the problems with having non-trivial side-channels for non-bitcoin data. The complaint is mostly hype.

Perhaps the real news should be "Kaspersky says they believe they know a vulnerability in Bitcoin, but they failed to responsibly disclose it to the developers and instead wrote press articles on it".

probaly the main point for them.
you can store malicious code on the blockchain and only need some small code on victim pc to get the main code executed/downloaded.

but i would agree that this is no blockchain vuneralbility...

5084  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Turkish Muslims now permitted to use toilet paper on: April 09, 2015, 09:21:15 PM
I am asking this because I want to know more, and it is better to know from a muslim instead search on google. Let me know thanks. If you will say it is not a "law" in the Islam then the OP is wrong.

Yes I am a Muslim yes I am from the deepest of the deepest place in the Muslim world and yes toilet paper is very foreign to us, Now for the other readers instead of the "EwwwEwww". Listen to this story:

One time I was in Thailand going out with a group of friends and one of them was from the Netherlands. We literally talked for ten minutes about shitting. He was telling me how an amazing experience it was for him to use the floor seating toilet. Thai people know  how it aligns the lower colon. Also he was amazed by the idea of the bidet. But also how toilet paper was still important to wipe whatever was stuck in between the cheeks and well some of us are hairy down there and needs the friction of the paper. We settled the conversation that the combination of Toilet paper, Bidet and floor seating is the cleanest best experience that will leave you feeling "clean" and refreshed.

Moral of the story? Most of us don't even know how to shit properly. We will learn when we have the balls to actually discuss shitting.

People shit differently in the this world. The way we sit, How to clean and what do we use to clean our behind. It is mazing how this did not progress and I think it is because we all kinda "ashamed" of something so natural and so basic as the "call of nature".

Now back to you my friend, redsn0w:
All this came from one thing that the prophet Mohammad said. And he said it only once. I think it is pretty obvious and whoever would think it is a restriction needs to calm down and actually listen. What he said is the following:

"When you have to go to the empty land, Use water to clean yourself. If you cannot find any, Find any leafs, if you cannot find any, Use stones to wipe". Empty land is an old polite arab way of saying -Going to answer the nature's call-

To me that means dude, clean your ass after you shit. Find the best way that would be cleaner but if you can't seek another and another, just CLEAN after you are done.

For some, and I still can't see why, they think that it means NO, use only water.. but f you can't then siiigh.... hmmm...shiiiit.... yes yes allright I guess you can use toilet paper..... I don't like it though.... but yeah you can......

If someone here think it meant that, then you sir are an EPIC idiot. Good day

(I don't think red sn0w thinks that, just saying because idiots around here would think I meant that)

i agree, but most of the religious fundamentalist have no access to common sense  Undecided
(not even talking about science)
5085  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Thirty seconds to live on: April 09, 2015, 05:48:54 PM
alot of post here i read actually didnt describe the main problem per se.

from the viewpoint of science humanity has neither a space nor a energy problem.

mankinds main problem is a socio-economical one - everything is a question of profit and loss.

without it, we would already explore different galaxies(!!!).

5086  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Turkish Muslims now permitted to use toilet paper on: April 09, 2015, 04:42:47 PM
uhm - from a scientific view toilet paper is big nonsense.
the best way to clean yourself after the big buisness is water (bidet) or (baby) wipes, although the last might be problematic cause of allergies.

there are several studies about it, im just to lazy right now to google it Smiley

The quran is as accurate as the bible is as accurate as the torah.

In unix OS terms they are all based on the linux kernel except all 3 took their own direction but at the end they all run on the same engine.

It is fascinating to me how anyone could dedicate themself to any of these religions when you could simply open all 3 of them if you are interested in the old testament.

Please provide me the evidence that the quran is better than the bible or torah. Did the real creator need the torah and bible as the first and second revision before hitting the absolute proof being called the quran?

The only facts around abrahamic religions is that they are all the same thing with different levels of abuse and violence.

i will reply this without any quote and any Quranic sentences.

just pure logic.

when you were in primary did they give you the book you would use in university?

or did they spoon feed you with little by little information till you are able to learn the final book?

this definitly should answer your question

"Edward Snowden wants to come back to US...."
"Edward Snowden is ready to comeback to US..."

---

That's why I asked whether he will go back. He obviously want to come back as it is his home country.
Snowden will come back only if there is an attitude change in the USA resulting in a change in the political party in power being more concerned about individual rights, particularly privacy.

Right now the Democrats and Republicans are both split on the issue of privacy and rights versus big government survelliance.  Given that situation what should happen is Snowden is pardoned by a US President - this would shield him from any future prosecution.

However Obama is not going to do that, he is a big government fascist - he'll pardon on his last day of office all the criminals that worked with him.

The vast majority of the American people do not understand Snowden or the issues at stake and driving his actions.

that is what bush did, dont think obama can repeat some bullshit like that.
