5081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should governments accept Crypto currencies? on: October 18, 2018, 08:57:16 PM
First of all Bitcoin is not completely anonymous. It is pseudo anonymous which means it can be traced to you with the help of some sort of information. Secondly, the transactions are completely transparent. Thus we will know what happening with the funds they received. Any sort of unusual behavior in their wallets would raise questions.  They will no longer be able to steal peoples money. If they can't steal those money, what will they be hiding through these wallets? Corruption will actually drop down for which the Government is scared to accept bitcoin.
5082  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is the best exchange for Trading on: October 18, 2018, 08:51:02 PM
I have been using Binance for a while and they seem to be doing good. Never had any kind of issues with them. Just the main interface would sometimes be very laggy when the charts and the orders were updating (probably my browser was the issue). You don't need to verify or anything. But unverified users have some sort of limits which actually isn't an issue for most of the casual traders.
5083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Strategy on: October 18, 2018, 06:26:26 AM
There is no such thing as strategy to be honest. All you can do is hold onto your investment as long as you can and cash out for profit when you feel like you have made enough profit. But make sure you are investing on coins that are actually legit and has potential. Invest on coins that are trending and well known. Also spread out your investment on multiple coins instead of just one coin so that you end up risking less.
5084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if every country has its own crypto currency on: October 18, 2018, 06:16:45 AM
Would be totally useless. This would end up being a centralized form of crypto currency. Why would we need this centralized crypto currency when we already have fiat currency with us? Crypto currencies were meant to be decentralized when no central authority. Why can't we just accept the current crypto currencies that exist instead of creating a new ones for each country?
5085  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where do you go to buy bitcoins? on: October 18, 2018, 06:10:14 AM
We all know of the importance of having cryptocurrency, particularly Bitcoin, however it is not always clear where they come from. Here in America, my friends and I use Coinbase to purchase and sell Bitcoins, Litecoins, Ethereum, etc. We can also use Coinbase as a wallet and it accepts bank transfers as well.

I have a few friends that use LocalBitcoins to meet up with locals in Los Angeles. I think this is inefficient since it can be time-consuming, however, there are some good deals and you can trust most of the sellers. I've also heard good things about platforms such as Kraken and Changelly.

In an effort to help the community, where do you personally go to purchase Bitcoins?
I usually use coinbase due to its ease of buying. I did try coinmama too few times back then and was satisfied by their service. Though keep this in mind that using credit cards to buy bitcoin means paying for higher amount of fees. Sometimes the fees might seem absurd. So its better to buy through p2p using localbitcoins or any other alternatives.
5086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should NOT determine the market on: October 17, 2018, 07:50:09 PM
Bitcoin is not stable, and this is my favorite thing about it. If Bitcoin is durable and low volatility, then Bitcoin is not itself, you can make a lot of profit if it is not stable. You can not make a profit if it's stable and when it's like a save of assets.
And this is actually the main problem over here. People here are just taking advantage of the volatility to make profit and thus using it as a store of value to make more profits in the future. But in fact, bitcoin and other crypto currencies were made to just use it as a currency to make our casual transactions instead of using fiat currency. Unfortunately, people are using them as a long term storage, thus delaying the adoption of crypto currencies to be used as a regular currency.
5087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Perfect Dice experience on: October 17, 2018, 06:50:40 AM
The first and the foremost important thing when choosing a gambling platform is to look for their trust rating. You don't want to be gambling on a platform with no trustworthiness. Those are the one that are usually rigged and people always ends up losing. Next look for dice casino with a friendly user interface. Interface matters. You don't want to gamble in a site that is extremely laggy. Also make sure that the site has huge enough bank roll and that smaller withdrawals are instant. Look for sites that has a community with features for chatting as its for fun to chat and gamble. You can try crypto-games. They have all the features I have mentioned  Smiley.
5088  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I fail in trading on: October 17, 2018, 06:10:48 AM
You said it yourself. You are a newbie. What do expect from being a newbie? Huge profits? You will need to learn first. See how the market works. Start with small investment. Try experimenting in different ways. You might not be making profits at first which is quite normal since you are new. Just learn from your mistakes and try not to make the same mistake once again.
5089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lower circulating supply of tokens, It is good or bad? on: October 17, 2018, 06:03:04 AM
The price is not just about the supply of tokens. It also depends on how the tokens are supplied and the project. If it is just a clone project, chances are high that the price will fall and become eventually useless. If no progress is seen on the project or on the verge of being abandoned, the price will be low and end up dying. So, it totally depends on the potential of the project.
5090  Economy / Economics / Re: CryptoCurrencies around the GLOBE on: October 13, 2018, 07:59:33 AM
New information is always perceived by people with hostility and with distrust. But if they are aware of the benefits, they will be imbued with this idea.
They are perceived with hostility and with distrust because the way the news are being spread. We only hear the cynical news on the media and most people know about things through the media. It is actually they way the information/knowledge about bitcoin being spread should be changed. People should be made acquainted with the benefits through a better source and made aware of the FUDs that should not be trusted.
5091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2 great coins to invest now on: October 13, 2018, 07:50:49 AM
Great coins to invest now :

POSS
https://mercatox.com/exchange/POSS/ETH

SPECT
https://mercatox.com/exchange/SPECT/ETH

At 18.10.2018 this coins will be added to ALLCOIN exchange
Any particular reason why you think they are going to be "your" great coins? Let me think.. you probably invested on those coins and now spreading the words so other people becomes hyped and starts investing on those coins so the prices gets pumped? Is this the reason why you are showing linking us to small exchanges, so pumping gets easier? Once they get pumped you are going to exit leaving other users frustrated.
5092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshis' absence make bitcoin truly decentralized? on: October 13, 2018, 07:47:28 AM
The main reason why Satoshi stayed anonymous and decided not to reveal himself was so that people would not be influenced by him in anyway. You will have to admit, if he showed up who he was, any decisions taken by him will naturally given more weight by the people. Many people will think of him as the leader of bitcoin (even if he doesn't want to be the one) and this will end up eventually destroying the decentralized system of bitcoin.
5093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does Bitcoin affect other Crypto? on: October 12, 2018, 10:41:12 PM
The price of bitcoin and other alt cons are somewhat strongly related to each other. Moreover, you might see that when the price of bitcoin is increasing, the price of altcoins do not grow at the same rate. This is because most of the time the value of an altcoin is measured using bitcoin. You will see in most of the exchanges that the altcoin and btc pairs are quite common. That is bitcoin is a way for them to buy those altcoins. So, when the price of bitcoin increases, we see that people sell off their altcoins for bitcoin. Thus the price of altcoins starts to drop when bitcoin rises.
5094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are lazy on: October 12, 2018, 10:19:02 PM
I just wonder sometimes why hackers would not want to use their time and effort they spend to scam others on doing something meaningful and legit, to earn something worthwhile for themselves, except to rip others of their hard earned money.
Most times, what they even take illegally from others at the end is not used for anything meaningful.
Scammers should desist from this act, because karma is real.
Work and don't be lazy.
Stealing money, that is scamming people is also actually a work for them. They will have to lurk around and keep finding victims. The most hardest job for those scammers is to convince people. Now you see that they are actually "working" in a sense. The only difference is that, what they are doing is totally wrong and socially unacceptable. Another reason why they scam people is that they can make quick money off it and can work independently whenever they want to.
5095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will humanity stop using cash on: October 12, 2018, 08:00:51 PM
I don't think that will happen. At least not for another few decades. Cards will prevail too. Remember, those are the only form of offline transactions that can be made which is actually acknowledged by everyone. And more generations will need to pass so everyone gets used to crypto currency. Though we might see both crypto currency and fiat currency being used side by side.
5096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Shift from ICO's to STO's? on: October 12, 2018, 05:18:22 PM
True that ICOs are struggling with credibility. Most of them are just scams and naive investors fall for it. One of the reasons why the government is getting strict with their regulations specially on ICOs. So here comes STOs. Though they will be heavily regulated and will go through all legal government procedures, those who are willing to scam will still find their way to rip off people.
I believe STOs are more regulated than ICOs so I hope for a lesser chance of getting scammed, maybe you'll stick with STOS, but if you want higher rewards, ofcourse that comes with higher risk too, a much much higher risk. You'll stick with the more crowded and well appreciated ICOs.
These are the risks that are not worth taking. Scam projects has never been profitable to anyone. And why would someone actually risk knowing they will get nothing? Why even encourage those scammers by "risking"?
5097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency on: October 12, 2018, 03:22:15 PM
What are the four crypto currencies that I should buy and keep untouched for at least five years?
Instead of taking peoples advice i would suggest you to do your own research when it comes to investing in crypto currencies. Select few coins that have potential and under valued. Filter out the coins that are clone/shit coins. Start analyzing those selected coins and find out their potential in the future. Since you are trying to hold your investment for long term, i would suggest investing on coins that are popular like Bitcoin, doge coin, litecoin, eth and strartis.
5098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What business industry will benefit the most from cryptocurrency? on: October 12, 2018, 03:15:10 PM
What's your reason behind those thoughts? The way price fluctuates and the volatility might cause problems for the businesses while operating. Again, lets not forget about network congestions and delay times when transactions are being confirmed. We still need to develope a lot before using crypto currencies as a form of transactions in real life.
5099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is convincing people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: October 12, 2018, 07:53:25 AM
Yeah. It absolutely is. First of all, keep this in mind, gambling is totally addicting, specially when one starts to win loads of money in very short amount of time. What used to be just entertainment, might end up being an addiction that will be affecting his over all life for the rest of the future. Your friends can still gamble on sites that offer virtual currencies that has no value and is free to play if he wants to enjoy playing those casino games.
5100  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitrefill not working? on: October 12, 2018, 06:52:42 AM
I tried to buy a voucher for a friend but It's doesn't seem work, I can load my account just fine, I login etc. but when it comes to buying, I can't bypass this step. I can click "continue" but nothing happens afterwards, I tried clearing cookies as well. but that didn't do the trick. I also tried multiple vouchers just to test (Xbox, Steam and others) but still nothing.
Works for me totally fine. Did you try changing your browser or something? I used chrome and tried the steam voucher. Was able to go through the payment. By the way, just found out they sell USD vouchers. If you are looking for steam gift cards you can try steamgamesbtc. They also have few other gift cards too. The admin has a good reputation here.
