That's an alarming amount of cheese lovers on this site.
Don't worry, I also hired software development and paid in BTC; exactly what BTC is meant for. Fast enough, no hassle, no blockades. Will do it again if needed.

I plan to hold until Bitcoin is fully adopted as online currency or dead. It's kinda lottery ticket stuff that way, losing never hurts ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

Eventually, demand and supply will balance. The balance is just a little bit different than with fiat currency, but its unsound reasoning to think that Bitcoin would continue to appreciate to infinity while an economy would shrink because nobody spends. That will simply not happen.
Of course, what will happen is that people currently in charge of fiat money cannot influence a Bitcoin economy that easy. Markets will set the demand and supply, not the beneficiaries of the current system. I'd like to try that new system for a change.

There is still fear of a bubble, so the top is not in.

Epic thread steadily on its way to 1,000 pages.

BTC is not perfect, but it beats everything in terms of control and Word Wide payments. Not recognising this is bad judgement. And yes, fiat and the regular banking system will keep on playing a role. That's nothing to worry about.

It's happening. Be a part of history.

I don't want to take someone else's money, I want to pay regular stuff with BTC. Wall Street adoption serves that purpose.

Relax, a BTC will remain a BTC, also after a hard landing. Remember, the real bubble is out there with someone buying the equivalent of almost 4 Entire BTC markets each day.

It doesn't matter whether BTC goes beyond $10,000, remains $100 or goes back to $0.01: it still remains a good vehicle to make unrestrained International payments. Unless banks figure out a way to incorporate btc's strengths into fiat money systems, BTC will remain to have a place.
Capital will go where it is most favoured. BTC just shows this happening.

This thread needs an Xzhibit meme.

If BTC retains its unique properties, $100 will only be a blimp on the historical radar.

Devs will find a way. Focus will shift from the meteoric rise to BTC's application anyway at a certain moment. Remember, it is still beta.
I will start to spend BTC when the Chinese electronics sellers start to accept them.

PPCoin has an active developer. Sunny King is always on time with his weekly update. I look forward to meet PPC's future.

Why would you buy a smartphone today when the price will be lower tomorrow?
Because you have calls to make today. +1 Because we aren't falling for the much debunked deflation scare.
