5081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK 20% of the gambling venues are located at the poorest part of the country on: August 25, 2021, 01:07:07 AM
I suspect it's simply due to the fact wealthiest zones are less populated, while poorer areas have more residents offering a more dynamic economical daily life. Businesses which rely on direct sales/direct interactions with the public in general aren't located in the richest areas of a country, but at the most popular ones. Also, as @Silberman mentioned, those areas are also more affordable for entrepeurners to run their businesses, because they offer cheaper properties for rent.

The news' goal is clear though: to say gambling industry is evil because they are getting money from the miserable instead of targeting the richest. What can't be proved at all. Personally I think casinos aren't fool to target people who don't have money to spend frequently. Of course they aim the big players, otherwise the industry wouldn't be profitable at all.
5082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]CropBytes- TRON Based Virtual Farming Game on: August 25, 2021, 12:17:20 AM
I discovered this game yesterday and got curious about it, so I started digging more informations about how the game works and how worthful it is to buy assets on this game. Firstly I would like to ask if the responsible for the game is still active on this forum, so I could share what I noticed:

As I see the game isn't transparent about the costs. An investor can't calculate accurately how much he is going to make daily, if he is going to have profit or loss, since the values of the goods produced in the farm are ommited by the game if the player doesn't own at least an unit of each of them in the inventory.

For an example, B ROOSTER (BR) costs 406 TRX right now, takes 2 Corn Feed (2 x 0.297 TRX) and 2 Water (2 x 0.268 TRX) in a 3 days time period and produces 2 feathers. The problem is, I don't know how much is the feather's price because there is no way to check it without a sample in my inventory. Buying assets in game this way is like shooting in the dark.

Then someone could say I can check these prices at ASSETS page, as that tab displays all the possible assets the game offers with some additional informations. However, the values displayed there are totally inaccurate. On that page it's said 4 milks units are equal to 1 GC (in game currency), but when I put 1 milk to sell at the game's market, it's priced at 0.182482 GC, so in fact 4 milks would price 0.729928 GC. I guess the informations are also inaccurate regards the others goods as well.

Moreover I noticed many animals are unprofitable to feed. Take the goat from Starter Pack 3, P1 GOAT (PG), as example: it takes 3 Corn Feed (3 x 0.297 TRX) and 2 Water (2 x 0.268 TRX) daily to produce 3 milk. The production costs are 1.424 TRX, while the profit from 3 milk units are about 1.248 TRX.

The game idea is interesting and I see developers are making graphical and mechanical improvements along the time, but you need to display correct informations to your users, because as it is now it's fake news and a trap for investors lose their money.
5083  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a possibility of a Country to ban access to Crypto games? on: August 24, 2021, 09:51:59 PM
Yes, it's possible some countries pass a law which includes NFT/Blockchain games in gambling category, banning all of them together. As these games become more popular and some people start losing their money by playing virtual games I think it's very likely to happen. All the government needs to do is to send a project to the legislative house and get it approved.

If the hypothetical law would work in practice or not it's another story. I can say it's really hard to ban/forbid online activity due to VPN and P2P transactions.
5084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador rolls out 200 Bitcoin ATMs in a bid to speed-up nationwide adoption on: August 24, 2021, 08:30:41 PM
The good news is that bitcoin is being heavily promoted by El Salvador's government to its citizens. But all the rest is indifferent. I think many people here live in countries where there isn't any incentive or legal statement from the government about bitcoin and they are still able to deal with the crypto currency in the same way it's being promoted in El Salvador right now.

I think ATMs aren't needed since everyone has access to a smartphone and internet connection which fully replaces those machines' function (which are actually overcame nowadays already). Traditional banks accepting bitcoin is also indifferent, because we are stepping towards a new banking system that has already became a reality for many: crypto banks and crypto apps that fully replaces traditional banks' functions.

Governmental bitcoin marketing campaigns should be more oriented to the autonomy of the individuals when using the digital currency instead of promoting the dependence on ATMs and banking agencies.
Anyway their work isn't totally bad, because the propaganda still makes it worth. At least it looks like...
5085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not everyone can be lucky when it comes to shitcoins on: August 24, 2021, 04:45:01 PM
I hate shitcoins, but to be honest, I spent a portion of my investments to it. Heres the list of my shitcoin bags and it will pump very soon like there is no other day.

Shiba Inu
Doge
Safemoon

Not a financial advice, but technically their price is about to pump in the next few weeks or a month. I'll give these coins a chance since we are in bull run.
To invest in such coins is actually the same as gambling with your money. There isn't any logical reason to explain why these coins can pump besides speculation that may happen or may not happen. It all depends on whales' mood and personal temporary wishes. It's a dangerous investment because shitcoins don't have the same solid background of Bitcoin, Ethereum or Binance Coin.
On the other hand, just like in gambling, some people think it's funny to invest in coins like the ones you mentioned and there is nothing wrong about it since they invest only what they can afford to lose.

Here the site loaded relatively fast, no problems on this matter. It's similar compared to the last time I opened it without many changes it seems.

What's the browser you are using? Because the website loads very slow, I thought it's just for the first time website data loading but when I click refresh it load again slowly just like the first time I open it. I'm current using mobile phone but I already try opening it too on my tab and still give same result. I have a fast Internet connection by the way.

The site is relatively updated on what's new casino available especially those casino that has an active promotion here.  Maybe try to include some minor description on each casino on your list though.
I'm using Brave browser on desktop. Just checked now again and it's loading fast yet.
Maybe the site isn't optimized for mobile version or maybe it could be an issue with a high number of users trying to connect to the site during some determined time periods?
5087  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can politics be pure? on: August 24, 2021, 01:02:32 AM
It could be if majority of the population of a country/region/city were pure as well. I think it's not the case and that is why politics are like that, because the people are also dirty.

Sometimes few decent people try to break this system, but since they have no power and are minority it's easy for the other side to crush them thanks to the endorsement or omission of the rest of the countrymen.

Collective causes are worthless, a waste of time and will most likely prejudice people genuinely involved on them. So I reached to the conclusion it's better to just take care our own life and don't give any importance about politics. This way you will suffer less and protect your physical and psychologial integrity.
5088  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: August 23, 2021, 09:58:45 PM
Due to the promotional 45% monthly interest on FUN tokens I finally decided to invest in the third tier 12,500 FUNs package. That looks an interesting deal and a good moment to support the site after so many promotions and attempts to make FUN more popular. Let's see what happens...

Now my doubt is about the extra free spins. Will I receive them on my email just like the free daily ticket or do I have to find them somewhere in the site? Are they already disponible right after the purchase or do I have to wait a 24 hours time period to claim/use them?

Thanks.
5089  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Sponsor - UFC Official Betting Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: August 23, 2021, 08:58:39 PM
I was thinking .....

How are the new rules on Twitch.tv going to influence the Online casino industry? Twitch will limit gambling promotion and referral links in people's streaming ===> https://www.ginx.tv/en/twitch/twitch-to-limit-gambling-promotion-and-referral-links

Will this also be like the "Crypto advertisement" ban on large Social media platforms? They aggressively blanket ban all "casino" advertisements and then later switch to a more fair system, where they screen the platforms and only allow "approved" gambling platforms?
I don't really think twitch has a huge impact on crypto gambling sites to be honest. I feel that platforms like Bitcointalk, Telegram, Discord, Twitter, FB etc are primarily utilised by crypto gambling sites based on what I observed.

The regulators are probably pressuring Twitch to adopt these new rules. They might end up adopting the 'Fair System' method that you mentioned later on.
I highly don't think that facebook is one of those platforms that   are successfully utilized by online casinos. I see very few of them on Facebook IMO, twitter, I believe is one of the most platforms that gathers most viewers and gamblers. When it come to twitch, I believe it's also a good one like youtube. Don't underestimate Twitch dude.
Facebook has all kinds of possible niches that ever exist in the world on the platform. With gambling it's not different. If you search specifically for gambling groups and pages you will find lots of them. On these internal communities people promote casinos like in any other social medias, including links to youtube videos that are more common when promoting such activities.
Now that internet access is disponible for most people around the world it's not a surprise the most populated social medias become fertile spots for referral programs promoters. The only social medias which aren't good for it are the ones with low number of members.
5090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- now at: 21/22 Playoffs on: August 23, 2021, 07:42:52 PM
Tomorrow is the PSV-Benfica return match... Who has any thoughts on that?
Judging from the last match PSV have a chance of winning... They had many unrealised chances, but Benfica were stronger... It would be great if PSV could score 2 or 3 goals, but I think Benfica will play in defence... Anyway, it should be an interesting and tense match!
The advantage is clearly at Benfica side, as they have already won the last game and just need a tie for the next one. But as Benfica's coacher said, they can't waste the opportunity of scoring, because the opponent PSV is a tough team that can score at any time, so it's better to guarantee at least a goal to difficult the game for PSV. To play only defensively isn't a safe strategy and the coacher knows this.

The positive points for PSV are: they will be playing at home and Benfica will be under severe psychological pressure for this reason and also because they were eliminated on this stage during the previous season. The responsability is huge.

Here the site loaded relatively fast, no problems on this matter. It's similar compared to the last time I opened it without many changes it seems.
I just think strange BetFury is inside faucet category, although it is a gambling platform. Is it due to the daily activities bonus offered by the platform, maybe?

Anyway the site gives some interesting ideas of sites for crypto enthusiasts who are looking for something else they aren't aware about yet. There are plenty of them. But for crypto newbies I suggest to be careful, because there aren't reviews about the sites presented and their risks. Some of them might lead newbies to have a bad experience since we are in a volatile market and Dapps, for an example, are likely to be heavily influenced by prices fluctuations. It's necessary to understand all the risks before investing.
5092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch introduces restrictions on gambling-related links - deadline 17 Aug on: August 23, 2021, 06:32:03 PM

I just think Twitch doesn't know or doesn't have how to solve this issue, so in order please their users, they simply introduced an useless restriction that isn't going to stop streamers to promote gambling in the platform, but that at same time will be useful to show their public they care for it are trying to solve this.

They have done the right thing they want a safe and clean environment and they want to be different from other streaming sites and Youtube is one of them, I have seen a lot of porn sites and gambling stream channels on Youtube, and they want parents to put them on their list as one of the safe streaming sites online, putting warning and restrictions will not work, because can easily enter by clinking agree on the warning.
But this restriction is unlikely to work for real. Streamers can just use a middleman site to promote their referral links. Instead of directly linking their public to the casino site, they can send people to a neutral site where there will be a referral link to the casino. I know it because facebook also doesn't allow diverse referral links related to crypto currency, but it's still possible to advertise those links this way I mentioned.

The solution for this is simple and shouldn't involve any restrictions. People just need to get educated about not trusting streamers/youtubers. Their content isn't very different from traditional media entertainment industry. There are a lot of fake elements in propagandas and programs we have been watching since many years ago and it's not different with modern videos we see nowadays on the internet.
5093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know is time to walk? on: August 23, 2021, 06:01:44 PM
I believe it's time to walk away when the game stops being entertaining and starts becoming a duty. That is when things may get out of control for the gambler, so it's better for him to be aware about this situation and walk away soon as possible before it becomes too late. It's not an easy task for every gamblers, but if they watch themselves while playing it's possible to manage money and time accurately when gambling.

im also gunning for the 100k rp im currently at 91000 rp but i dont want to exchange immediately cuz i am gambling addict and i love buying food with crypto so i'll rather leave it in rp and keep accumulating cuz its a nice feeling to know that every single rp u get after reaching 100k can be exchanged to sats if u wanted too . so 100 k rp is more a beginning for me than the finish line. My only fear is when bitcoin reaches 100,000 dollars per btc will it still be 1:1 rp to sats or would the rate have reduced. i do not know the calculation but i know previously 1 rp was 13 sats before bitcoin hit it big Smiley
I remember when I first reached 100K RP I didn't instantly convert to satoshis for this same reason you mentioned. But after accumulating some more thousands of RPs I didn't resist and finally exchanged it for the first time. Now I'm on my way again for the second time. If Bitcoin really hit higher prices the ratio may change again, so it's a risk we take by not instantly making the conversion...
Right now I believe bitcoin is heading to a new ATH by the end of this year or so. Because of that I prefer to guarantee 100K satoshis at least by converting as soon as possible.

Wish you good luck.

That's a good win. Many members including myself are posting such high RP WOF. I am also excited about reaching highest RP rolls everyday since we can buy things with it or else convert them simply to the sats. In either way the benefits are huge and its free money anyways. If you study freebitcoin site carefully then you will understand that it's actually free. You get free sats everyday, free lottery tickets, RP's, free rolls, and that's not big thing. The exciting thing is, if you are token holder or btc holder then you get to enjoy 25% AYP on tokens while 4-10% on your BTC holdings. I mean, if I am holding the BTC in wallet then why not store it on the freebitcoin and earn the royalty! The free stuff.

With the WOF, they have added amazing strategies to the users investment and I think it's beneficial for the both parties - User & Freebitcoin.  Smiley
It's good to share our high winnings with others because sometimes I see people complaining about the prizes they receive are too low or that the site doesn't worth, so we can show them it's possible to get better rewards if you are a focused person. At same time we help advertising the site which I believe deserves it for offering this kind of features in a legit way, what is really rare on the internet.
The success of Freebitco.in is also our success. Smiley

Wish you good earnings too.
5095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch introduces restrictions on gambling-related links - deadline 17 Aug on: August 22, 2021, 09:57:57 PM
Twitch introduced this restriction in response to lots of criticism from the platform's users who were concerned about children and vulnerable people having to access to such content, but also because (and I think it's the main reason) streamers aren't transparent when advertising casinos. It means the public never knows if they use money from their pockets or fake tokens given by the casino they promote.
This subject was already discussed here innumerous times on another threads as many members of this forum may remember. As we can see the concern really exist and became even a complainment directed to Twitch support.

I just think Twitch doesn't know or doesn't have how to solve this issue, so in order please their users, they simply introduced an useless restriction that isn't going to stop streamers to promote gambling in the platform, but that at same time will be useful to show their public they care for it are trying to solve this.

Nice prize from wheel again after some weeks of bad luck. That is a very welcome boost to reach 100K RP threshold faster. You just need to be patient and active using the site and the reward will come sooner or later.
I'm half way now and want to try reaching 100K by the end of this year... A tough task, but with some luck and interesting promotions from freebitco.in's team it's possible I think.
5097  Other / Off-topic / Re: Slapping Tournament on: August 22, 2021, 01:58:14 AM
I would neither like when my son were to participate in such a competition as a slapper nor would I like if he was standing around screaming like a cheerleader when his favorite slapper humiliates his opponent. That is just stupid. I don't like boxing either because I think that our brain is so valuable, it allows us to do so many things, feel so many things and so on. Why get it slapped permanently until it might take damage and stop working accurately or maybe even lead to death? That is just not my thing I guess.

Every professional sport causes serious injuries to athletes. Soccer players often have problems with their knees and feet, jumpers have problems with their spine, boxers have problems with their head.

To avoid serious injuries, you can practice boxing for 2-3 years. After that, you can just keep in shape. Such training makes a person very tough and strong in spirit.

But there isn't most likely even a decent ratio in slapping tournaments in terms of risk and reward. When you trash your knee as a professional soccer player for 20 million EUR in your career, well fine, and you usually don't have any problems with your brain. The goal is to score goals, not to trash someone else's face with a single hit for a couple of bucks, risking the other person's health. But I might just be different though. You know these fail videos where people break their bones in gymnastics and so on? I can't watch them, but I know a good number of people who can laugh about it, I just can't. ;P
Every sports involve some risks of serious injuries to the body, but in fighting sports the risk is much higher and the consequences much worse, because as you said, people are hit on the head, the most important part of the body and probably the part people most worry about protecting against injuries.

I can't say slapping doesn't call my attention, especially in slow motion when we can see all the movements of the player when slapped, but it's really not a good thing for them. These players seem young right now, but in some decades they will face a lot of issues with their mental health. I've seen famous boxing players suffering from these issues and it's really sad. With slapping participants it must not be different.
5098  Economy / Economics / Re: Nothing about communism: The real cause of hyperinflation in Venezuela on: August 21, 2021, 10:08:51 PM
I don't understand. You say the failure of Venezuela has nothing to do with communism, although you literally explain how communism works in practice from your second point (abnormal trade theory) on. If negotiations with foreigner nations were disturbed it was due to the ideology, if the government became heavily interventionist in economy it was also due to the ideology.
You just forgot mentioning the human rights violations, unrestrained corruptionl, power abuse and close connection with another communist countries. All these factors also lead foreigner countries and investors to stay away, harming the local economy even more.
5099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are some individuals hostile to Bitcoin? on: August 21, 2021, 09:07:44 PM
From my personal experience people hostile to bitcoin I've met were basically people who have safe fixed income, stable jobs and a confortable life already. So maybe they see no point in investing in bitcoin, because it's actually a risk they don't have to take, as everything they need and want from a financial perspective was already achieved.
Maybe they are also very close minded people to understand how bitcoin is getting more attention and importance day by day and how its technology is going to impact the future, but I believe it's not the main reason anyway, because there is also a lot of people who don't understand anything of this and are still proud bitcoin enthusiasts.
5100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: August 21, 2021, 08:24:43 PM
An addict's budget can only be all the money they can borrow, through appropriation as well as their basic source of income, advice still has their ears but their hearts prefer to hear the sound of gambling, the sound of winnings after a bet and their lives are also left with chaotic disasters, almost no one wants to reach out to help such people, sometimes gambling addiction is identified as the scum of society. Under any circumstances, our budget for entertainment should not go beyond what we admit, a little flame of borrowing can burn us to ashes.
I can allocate 20% of my total monthly income to entertain myself in some games. I don't think that borrowing money for gambling purposes is the best way to profit from gambling. The risk of loss is always real and bad debt is something that is most likely to occur if all the money borrowed is spent on gambling. If you really believe that a loan is okay if it is used for gambling, then I believe problems will come because of it. So far I've never done it and have no plans to do so.
So you have made the right choice, because to borrow money for betting is totally discouraged. Besides the debt that is almost sure to go to the moon, the gambler also puts his life under risk if he isn't able to pay it back. There are many people who got murdered for not paying a loan back. Furthermore it's not dangerous only for the gambler, but for his family as well, as everyone related to the borrower will be on the radar of the loan sharks.

People who don't have money to gamble should just not gamble. This way they would be safe and sound.
