5101  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 30 Day [90 BTC] Loan on: March 29, 2012, 11:26:49 PM
Repeat customer with good credit.  PM sent.
5102  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTT] PayPal -> Bitcoins on: March 29, 2012, 07:54:00 PM
This is true, but there are some not so savvy people here that might fall for it and I just want to inform them of the potential risk involved.  In the case of Dareq someone did send him paypal first and lost their money.

This is why I jumped on this thread and offered to buy and/or escrow.  If it was legit they should have jumped at the chance - not run away.  Anytime one of these pops up all we need is for a SR/Hero member with good rep to offer to buy if they go first.  If they do not take it then it is probably a scam.
5103  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTT] PayPal -> Bitcoins on: March 29, 2012, 05:44:12 PM
Dareq is this you again???

Here is how this scam works.

1. Scammer sets up an unverified paypal account and ties it to a prepaid visa card.

2. Scammer gets you to send him/her paypal and then spends the money on whatever.

3. Scammer tells you his/her account is frozen and you should charge it back.

4. You lose your money forever.

The scam does not work if they are forced to send the BTC first or escrow the BTC - therefore we have not heard from them again since this was suggested.  Also, it is pretty hard to send BTC first if you don't have any Wink

5106  Economy / Gambling / Re: *[~BITLOTTO~]* April 4 draw over 122 BTC! on: March 29, 2012, 02:39:38 PM
Over 122 BTC with 1 week left! Remember that you can now send any amount at once to the draw address as long as it's a multiple of 0.25. No need to keep buying single tickets.

GOOD LUCK!
I just bought 100 tickets.  I would like bitlotto to please send me a file containing all 100 official hashes.  Also is there a web site or script I can run that will take my initial hash as input and give me a list of all of my ticket/hashes so I can verify the values myself and compare them to the "official" entries?  Adding an input box to the bitlotto web site for a hash and a number of tickets would be pretty cool.

5108  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a loan. Have collateral on: March 29, 2012, 02:19:41 PM
I doubt it is Rexcoin but Last Active:  March 13, 2012, 03:58:33 AM  is a bad sign.
5109  Economy / Lending / Re: Selling Credit Default Swaps on imsaguy on: March 29, 2012, 02:15:28 PM
I don't understand what any of this means...Who do I send my money to?

That's the point... make them so hard to understand that you just make money!!!
If we issues CDS' on Pirate debt would Pirate get to buy his own CDS' ?  He is a Pirate after all Smiley
5110  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] muBit - Bitcoin Venture Capital Fund (IPO Started with Asset ID "MU") on: March 28, 2012, 10:03:14 PM
As a stockholder I think it is a very bad idea to publicly announce what you are buying/selling - especially before you buy/sell it.  I think it is a bad idea to even announce you might buy or sell something.  Quietly buy stuff and then let everyone know you bought it (with color commentary, reasons, whatever) if appropriate.  Quietly sell things and then announce you sold it (with commentary as appropriate).

5111  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTT] PayPal -> Bitcoins on: March 28, 2012, 05:38:47 PM
It is deja vu all over again Smiley
5112  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTT] PayPal -> Bitcoins on: March 28, 2012, 05:33:05 PM
I will buy BTC from you if you send the BTC to me first (Hero member, my own Bitcoin bank, etc.)

What purchase size are you looking for?

I would also like to offer escrow services to you at my Bitcoin bank for a very small fee if you want to sell to customers with less reputation.

You would send the BTC to me first.  Then they would send you the PayPal money.  After you get the PayPal money I would send the BTC on to the customer.

Interested?

Repeat customer.  Will lend you the BTC.

Sent as an IBB style loan.  No interest on this small of a loan but you can tip me as much or as little as you want.  Use the same payback address you used last time.  If you do not remember it PM me and I will send it to you again.
5115  Economy / Lending / Re: [Funded]75 BTC LOAN on: March 28, 2012, 04:19:57 PM

5117  Economy / Lending / Re: [WANTED] 80 BTC loan for 30 days (Interest: 4%) on: March 28, 2012, 12:40:26 PM
Possible loan in progress, PM (loan offer) sent.
5118  Economy / Lending / Re: Lending 30 BTC(in 3x10BTC parts) on: March 27, 2012, 11:40:38 PM
Lending on this forum is not a passive activity at this point.  The rule of thumb on this sub-forum is:  the first vulture (lender) gets the meat (borrower).

There are a few people asking for loans (none I would personally loan to, but you may be more into risk than I):

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=74035.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=74008.0 Oh, wait, no - obvious scammer tarred, feathered and run out of town.

There just are not that many people looking for loans.

If you are really into high risk higher interest loans you can check out the noob section looking for people there that want to borrow their first BTC.

Anyway, you have to keep a watch and find your customers...

EDIT:  chin up.  You got more response than Atlas, see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=74237.0
5119  Economy / Lending / Re: Lending 30 BTC(in 3x10BTC parts) on: March 27, 2012, 05:32:14 AM
dont worry, i am just subscribing to this thread
Dude, you really need to totally standardize your hm's.  I suggest you always use hmmTM for subscribe and always use hmmmTM for suspicion.

It is just a suggestion so that way no one will get bent out of shape or confused Wink
5120  Economy / Lending / Re: The Bitcoin Credit Agency on: March 27, 2012, 05:22:38 AM
