Whenever I undertake risk I am considering  it twice as much  as I used to
With me gone also my coin will disappear, nothing of my stash value will left for my family, it is  both fascinating and scary
Who among you share the feeling

Just teach them how to sell your BTC and tell them how much they will get. They will be OH YES!!!

I wonder what rich person would think about allowing other persons partly access to his bank account. The same risks apply to bitcoins then. Cousin A and B steal the code from aunt C and... your coins are gone... but i guess you either can do it through the official way with a lawyer and paying death duty and spreading among persons you might dont like or risk the access with persons... at the end you have to trust someone regardless.
5102  Other / Off-topic / Re: I have to survive.. on: January 19, 2014, 01:40:21 AM
Distributing among people implements another risk. When one of these persons vanish or the piece of code is lost then everything is lost.

I tried to withdraw 25.000.000 doge coins but was told that there is a daily withdraw limit of around 3.6 bitcoins daily for doge. I think thats way too low. I would need 5 days only to withdraw that amount here. Maybe you should change your script the way that you set a USD-Value for withdraw and all cryptocoins withdraw limit is calculated after that value then automatically. That way you dont have to run after all differen coin limits.

Rich people prolems...

Nice to have 25M doge to withdraw, haha.

PS, I bought the wrong cables for my 70" TV! waaaaaa!

25M Doge are 18BTC at the moment. I believe Doge was once way higher but thats not the case anymore...

Agreed, what's your point?  Do you believe you should be able to withdraw 18BTC easily with no limits?

Yes of course. Vircurex allows me to withdraw 100BTC per day but only 3.6BTC in DOGE.

Fear isnt a reason to attack legally. Otherwise even the scary look of a person could justify beating him. I think the guy only enjoyed fearing you. And it worked fine for him.
I think i would have tried not showing him that im concerned and trying not to escalate it. Going away from him into the shop was the right decision. Such scumbags arent worth that you turn your life negative because that would have happened when you attacked him or when you escalated it and he attacked you. Its simply not worth it. "Does the moon care when the dogs bark at it." Your above that and only fight back when needed. Though i know of course that its really hard in such situations because one normally doesnt have these every day so its a high adrenaline situation for nearly every person.
I know in TV people get shown to beat for "protecting honour" or similar stupid reasons but in real life these guys ends worse than the beaten. For a reason.
You're kidding right...? Fear isn't a reason to attack legally? Read up on this: http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/10/03/20800978-family-involved-in-suv-biker-clash-was-in-fear-for-our-lives?lite

I hope you see a difference in there. If i understand it right the biker attacked the car not only verbally but physically so that life threatening is in the range of possibility. Fear alone isnt enough for self defense... there must be valid reasons that your health or even life is in danger.
No, the biker was just being assholes. They boxed in the SUV and slowed down, and SUV accidentally tapped the back of a biker and stopped completely. A biker started walking towards the SUV (to talk or to fight) SUV got scared and sped off, running over and paralyzing one of the biker.

It's basically like a woman being stalked by a guy in a dark alley, fear wouldn't justify her macing him?

Hm... hard to say... i guess in the USA the SUV Driver will have good chances.

Regarding the woman stalked in a dark alley... where will you draw the line? Lets assume the woman already had a bad situation and is afraid and a normal person is walking behind her. She can be feared to death but that doesnt justify her shooting the person down, regardless how she felt. There must be something factual. Otherwise if youre unlucky you can become a victim too without having done anything only because someone "felt" you are dangerous.

I dont want to be the judge in the SUV-Case though.

The police cant start without infos. And without victims they cant start either. Or do you think you tell them Money was stolen from someone, please investigate, we will tell you later who are the victims and what they lost in detail.

I hope some big shareholders will donate. I mean im not the only one who lost big. I already donated alot.

no, all they NEED is one victim with evidence to START. you can give them more names as people join. all the evidence will be the same regardless of how many victims contact police. it's public knowledge how much money was stolen. i'm saying that the sooner this starts the BETTER. waiting longer to get a few more names etc isn't worth the wait. alberto, fab, and alessia need to be questioned and possibly arrested today not tomorrow. justice will be served but the longer the wait the smaller chance of any recovery of funds at all.

Thats right then... i would have liked it more when the lawyer would have taken the case more serious too. I mean he gets no small money for it.

So whats the refund status? Many refunds? I mean we get big news for Million-USD-Orders but no info for refunds. But that would be interesting.

They pay refunds for everyone who requests them, but i don't think there are so many requesting them.

If anyone does request a refund please let us know how the procedure went and if there were any issues.

Mine cleared the bank. Only issue was the bank thinking it could be a fraud on my part since it was not a 'normal' transaction.

The first buyer i read from. Its strange that there arent threads filled with angry customers like it was usually for avalon. Of course avalon didnt refund from the start. Is that the explaination? Im not convinced.
5114  Economy / Securities / Re: [Weexchange issue] The fall of Ukyo III - Updates and references on: January 17, 2014, 06:36:27 PM
I dont act because ukyo is still my best option. Persons that know what happened tell me thats the best way. If everything fails i still have enough time to sue ukyo the next years. The harm is already done so no need to rush things now. The only risk involved is losing time.

I believe i know what he means. Having your wealth at a bank account makes pretty sure that your relatives will get the money when you die for some reason. If you have a wallet at your pc then... thats a different thing. They have to know that you have the wallet, they need to know the password or private key. So you need to give these details to someone... otherwise your bitcoins will be lost for everyone. When you dont have someone you really trust you have a big problem since you dont want to log into your wallet one day and your coins are gone. Will you give the private key to a lawyer instead? If he is using it how will you prove it? And and and... Bitcoins have some problems one has to think about. Of course only if you care and dont want that your "riches" are landing in the rubbish or on ebay.
I meant this
solution isn't so obvious as people think, if one thinks  about it  deeper
I struggle in my mind with idea that my 'I have to survive' philosophy is  best at this point

If youre relatives arent worth your bitcoins then it would be good when you at least make some setup so that the coins are donated. It would be a pity when they are stranded useless on an address. You arent immortal and something can happen everytime.
If you write your private key on a letter and seal it, giving it to a lawyer or putting it into a bank safe will mean your wish will be taken but your relatives have the right for some of the money. I dont know if there is an automatic setup somehow that can send your coins to charity or so if you really dont want the coins to your relatives.
5117  Other / Off-topic / What software to build a bot that observes a website? on: January 17, 2014, 11:50:18 AM
What software would be best to observe a website that is using javascript and jquery too? Best would be when it isnt needing a browser for it and when it could be run in windows or linux (rpi).

Whats the choice then? Python?

I don't expect that we will get any information about whatever happened with the funds for quite a while.
But I personally expect that he in this month will make an announcement about the "alternative methods" he have been talking about.
Ukyo also recently said on IRC that he is "hoping to have the details of the plans solidified soon".
Mmmmh, that delicious smell of BS

Still the best bet to get something back at the moment. Everything other includes very big waiting time and can be done anytime later too.
