5101  Economy / Economics / Re: The Labor Market Is Broken on: December 05, 2022, 08:14:17 AM
It is possible that the entirety of wage increases over the past 50 years have gone mainly to CEOs and executives. Wealth growth flatlining for other income brackets, could have reached a breaking point where having a job and working full time no longer allows many to pay their bills. In which case, the point and motive for working declines.
This is highly possible judging by what is happening in our society where the rich are getting richer, and the poor are getting poorer. The money is not circulating as it should and labourers are working more but not much to show for it as an accomplishment.

It is known that many homeless living on the streets have full time jobs which do not allow them to afford the cost of rent. Not having to pay monthly rental fees greatly reduces the cost of living to only food and basic necessities. Basic living costs being more affordable, and it is possible that some beggars in the streets even manage to earn greater income than they would with a full time job.
This is part of the issues of the disparities in our society, yet this homeless living could work if you don't have wards. It would be inhumane to be capable of an apartment no matter how small it is but subject your wards to such conditions for the sake of cutting costs. Having said that, some of these people living this life are lazy, we should not pity their situation much. Yet, the rich should also learn how to give out either through gifts or increased wages or salaries for such situations to reduce.
5102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading is good for traders with passive mindset on: December 05, 2022, 07:57:27 AM
Trading can be a hectic endeavor must, especially for those who are not persistent in their trading journey, but those who put all their time and mind into trading will develop skills over time that makes them more stable in trading. So in conclusion trading is for the passive mindset and not for the laggy mindset.
Contrarily, trading is not hectic, in fact, trading is so easy and cheap, it all depends on what you know and your plans towards it. Also, it is good for people without a passive mind, as passive people lag in action unless you don't know the meaning of being passive. In plain terms, just be such that is ready for it. I've seen many people that claimed to be passive but are no more trading because what they expected from it is not what they got. Trading would suit you depending on your nature as a person, and in terms of readiness for trading itself, this is with your time, energy, resources plans and others.
5103  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Let's not be too judgemental about CZ (Binance) on: December 04, 2022, 02:16:00 PM
Anyone of them should attack Binance too if they want to, it's called a healthy rivalry, all I want is the protection of people's money and sincerity of their operation.
What you're suggesting is illegal in any normal country on this planet and would mean jail time for the one doing so, this is not a game of starcraft this is playing with people's money!
I beg to disagree, why is CZ not rotting in jail now or charged for any wrongdoing? I believe you don't understand the style of attack I was referring to.

What I want is for them to force regulation amongst themselves by revealing what they are doing wrong. Binance is not left out of this, let others attack it too and let people know what is going on in there in the bid to better protect people's money.

Then how about you start with revealing stuff about Binance since you like what CZ is doing that much?
Don't get it twisted, I'm not an advocate of CZ, and neither am I a fan. I only like what he is doing for the industry. Revealing more secrets is key to sanitising the much-underregulated exchange industry.

I was happy to see the Option trading feature with Binance, which is my only exchange,

Biased much?
Goodness! You still went in search of what I wrote about two months ago? Well, you should not just take that out of context, I wrote the topic in search of a better exchange that offers Options trading better than Binance, so you have no valid point here. It was even negative to Binance because their Options trading was not fair to me, therefore you extracted from what is actually against Binance to prove my neutrality.

I would tend to disagree that CZ/binance caused FTX to collapse.

Based on the information I have read that I believe to be reliable, FTX loaned money to an affiliate for the purpose of speculative trading. The money lent was customer deposits that I understand were not interest-bearing, and reasonably should have been kept segregated (at a minimum from an accounting perspective) from other assets at FTX. The sale of FTT by CZ/binance was preceded by the run on the bank of FTX, but FTX would have been able to honor all customer withdrawals if non-interest-bearing customer funds were segregated.

Even if one were to argue that it is permissible to lend out customer deposits that are not interest-bearing (which is an argument I disagree with), there was too much exposure to FTT, which is an affiliated altcoin. This argument requires looking at FTX like a bank (that loans out customer deposits), and having that level of exposure to a single asset is just reckless.

In sum, it was SBF that ultimately caused the collapse of FTX, IMO.
Your explanation is good and your found facts are true as well, but you are looking at it in the direction of BSF's mismanagement of FTX. What he did is truly wrong, but have you ever thought that FTX would still be operational if CZ did not announce his withdrawal of the $2.1B? Indeed, it was that announcement that caused the panic withdrawal that eventually caused the collapse of the company.

This is likened to a tree that is about to fall but was supported by another tree or a solid plank. It would surely easily fall if the support is removed. That was what happened. Though CZ is not part of the mismanagement, his action was powerful to an already stressed company.
5104  Economy / Economics / Re: Can A Redesign of A Countries Currency Note Improve Its Economy? on: December 04, 2022, 07:55:46 AM
Actually nothing much special about the redesigning the currency it's just about it colors and nothing much which I thought the previous note was even far more better than the current printed notes. I don't even know how on earth they couldn't came up with a reasonable design looking from above pictures there's nothing difference between both notes in facts the new notes looking more of a counterfeit money, we were thinking FG should have given a bounty (Contest) for individual to design and post maybe after much more, they would select the best design and pay off the Best designers for the country to have a better looking Naira Notes instead of just changing colors.

If I may add sir, I think There are valid and valid reasons why everyone should use legal currency to avoid counterfeit Money.

This is a serious problem. Not only does it clog circulation, but it can cause serious problems for unsuspecting people who might end up losing real money.

Redesigning a country's banknote can have both positive and negative effects on that country's economy. Enhancing the security features of a country's banknotes helps combat counterfeiting operations in terms of production as well as increases the overall confidence in banknotes.
First, I don't believe that the redesigning of money should be an issue for any country, they do it often. Even if there is an issue, it would be little compared to a lot of its advantages in countries that are battling corruption, money laundering, kidnapping for ransom, and human trafficking amongst others. I would elaborate on this because this topic was borne out of the announcement of the CBN of Nigeria to redesign some naira notes, which is very acceptable to me because of what the country is battling, including the political vote buying during elections that is not being mentioned in any other countries of the world. However, the redesigning will not affect all the naira notes but three notes out of the eight naira notes, which is not a big deal to me, except for how people and media took it.

Aside from the positive side, I'm particularly against any economists' position against the redesigning of the naira notes. I read a lot of opposition then, but it's good to know that redesigning is not the same as printing more money. The plight of the CBN was that money is not circulating compared to the amount injected into the economy, and this might cause inflation. Could you imagine that only about 1/3 of the amount printed is in circulation, where are the others? People are hoarding it illegally of course.

A resealable country would surely act, which is what the CBN in collaboration with the Nigeria government did.
5105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I Am So Done With Betting Until.... on: December 04, 2022, 07:28:41 AM
No teams that supposed to be underestimate in any match, following odd to bet a match is one of the things that makes some people to fail not win some match prediction they are supposed to win,  you cant be little a country who came out for a competition, besides they have players, so i predicts match the way i feel like predicting match, because when emphasizing on performance of a club or team you might win but in other hands wining of prediction is by the grace of God, which result out as a luck.
I disagree with you, you are just being emphatic about what is not. True, it's bad to totally underestimate teams, but that is at times when the underestimated team has luck on their site. But generally, if you don't underestimate one team over the other, then how would you bet on another through speculation?

Plainly, if you bet that team A would win over team B, it's a decision that you are underestimating team B, perhaps you don't bet win or lose? It is normal to me, only that we should plan our bets as any game that is doubtful should be removed from the ticket or bet separately. Because the greatest team could be defeated by the weakest team, but there is no way a good match speculator would not bet against the weakest team over and over again even if they (small) win the game.
5106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Group Stage Highlights on: December 04, 2022, 07:16:19 AM
Argentina VS Australia game ended up for the favour of Argentina, because Argentina players were very ready to use all their skills to play Australia to ensure they move ahead to another phase of the game, which they did it yesterday that made them to beat Australia 2:1. One of the PSG striker called Messi open the goalpost in the first half to alert their fans that they have what it takes to withstand any strong teams in this FIFA world cup competition to win the trophy in this season.
The match is one of the few I can repeatedly bet my money upon, there is nothing to doubt about it. I even thought it was going to be a win-to-nothing on the defeating side of the Australian team because I had carefully studied the form of the two teams before concluding that Argentina would win. Thanks to the beautiful goal from Messi and Julian, I believe the team deserve the winning. Australia has a lot to do in building their team, their attacking should have been more aggressive in such a match as they defend more.
5107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 03, 2022, 06:58:53 PM
The last 16 round started today. We watched the Netherlands-USA match as the first match.  Both teams played a balanced game. Although the Netherlands scored the goals, the USA didn't play badly either.  Closing the first half 2-0 ahead, hollamda entered the halftime in high spirits. At the beginning of the second half, the USA increased the pressure and found the goal too late. It was time for the USA to be eliminated after conceding a goal 5 minutes after scoring.
The next match will be played between Argentina and Australia. I expect Argentina to get a comfortable win.
I also think Argentina will win this match, but we should not forget that Australia beat Tunisia and Denmark. Although neither of these teams qualified for the 1/8, they were strong opponents. Although if you watch how masterfully Argentina defeated Poland and Mexico, Australia will not be a difficult problem for them. They have no right to make a mistake, as they did against Saudi Arabia.
Argentina should beat Australia without an apology, the Australian team is just lucky to be in the next round. They would not have made it if they were in a tougher group. France is the only tough team in group D as far as I am concerned, and they won Australia with a 4-1.

This is an indication that if Australia faced tougher teams from another group, they would not have made it with what they played. I don't see them playing beyond the group of 16 unless luck is on their side. But I believe Argentina will give it all it takes as they look serious and desperate in this tournament.
5108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning how to code in order to automate trading strategies, is it worth? on: December 03, 2022, 11:18:40 AM
The programing language you would use depends on the trading platform you are using, I believe that is settled.

Now, it depends on you if it would be worth it to learn how to program your trading system for automated trading. If your trading system is very good and you have less time for trading, then automated trading is for you. Yet, you could contract this out to people that are in that field for a stipend unless you have other reasons to learn to code. The only problem here is that others might steal your work, if you don't mind, then go ahead.
5109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: under-age gamblers on: December 03, 2022, 11:04:57 AM
The OP should know that the standard legal age for every adult-oriented thing is 18 years and above, yet some people are cutting corners in doing it. In the present reality, you would see underage doing a lot of things they were supposed not to do, these are not limited to driving, drinking alcohol, smoking, and betting. So seeing underage gambling should not surprise you, though if a law enforcer is there, such kids and their parents, including the casino/staff could be tried.

But casinos need money, they won't care, particularly if it's offline without KYC. While some underage kids outsmart them with fake ages online.
5110  Economy / Economics / Re: SBF-Denies Improper use of Customer Funds in a 1 on 1 Interview on: December 03, 2022, 10:43:38 AM
This is normal, what do you expect him to say? Of course, he can't label himself a criminal, or do you believe someone that has not been tried by a court of competence to be preaching guilt? BSF is certainly guilty as far as the documentaries I watched about him are concerned, there are many possible charges that would be filed against home when the time comes.

What you referred to is just an interview, and I know he would say what his lawyer(s) advised him to say. However, his innocence remains paramount unless a court decides otherwise. So, let's give investigators a chance to do their job as we seatback and watch.
5111  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: December 02, 2022, 10:50:59 PM
I don't blame some of these casinos for only accepting few coins which their website support because there are alot of cryptos which shouldn't be regarded as digital coins because of their high tendencies to cease from existing within a shorter period and with this most of the gambling websites now also come up with their own coins and introduce such to the market and add it to their list of supported currencies, and therefore, it is ideally to support not more than five to 10 currencies including the one introduced by the website, then another thing to work upon is the additional security measures to help maintain a steady functionality of the site.
I am with you on this, it's pointless for crypto casinos and sportsbooks to support too many coins, but if they could handle them, there is no cause for alarm. And I don't blame casinos for adding their own token, only that it would be unfair if they are now making policies that would force gamblers to use the token.

Also, the security feature of their site is a good one, and as a fact a priority. Yet, what I cherish more are instant withdrawal and good support (live, to be specific).
5112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Shall we create a small chat room to communicate? on: December 02, 2022, 03:04:35 PM
Nothing to be shy about here, but frankly, this is simply not necessary because BTT is already a community where anyone can share their views at different sections of choice depending on what they want to convey. Except that we can't receive instant messages on our gadgets like Telegram and others. Still, one could subscribe to any thread of interest and would receive prompt messages from the Telegram notifier if need be for that.

This is not to discourage your idea entirely, but to encourage you that you might still create the group for the interested members, while the notifier would be able to convey all messages promptly to gadgets inasmuch as the targeted audiences are quoted.
5113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Group Stage Highlights on: December 02, 2022, 02:21:17 PM
Embarrassing game for Spain against Japan. Rumors say that the Spanish team lost deliberately, so that they could finish at the second place in their group and face Morocco at the round of 16. Shame on them. I really hope that Spain will be kicked out of the tournament at the quarterfinals. Croatia vs. Japan would be interesting, but I bet that the Croatian team would reach the quarterfinals.
Germany deserved to leave the tournament at the group stage. The German team is missing some key elements, in order to be competitive against France and Brazil, who are the big favorites for winning the World Cup.
I kind of believe what you’re saying about Spain losing on purpose. Because at halftime, the two central defenders for spain made at least 90 complete passes with over 100 touches of the ball. It appear to me Luiz Enrique didn't want to attack after the goal. Seems like he was avoiding a win. They’re simply avoiding to play Croatia. They want to play Morocco and with what I have seen so far, Morocco might shock them in the round of 16.

Well, I never thought of that. As a Croatian I'm looking forward to my team not playing against Span. They kicked us out of the Euro 2020 and I didn't want to see that happening again. I'm not sure that Spain should be afraid of Croatia but who knows. Maybe you are right. However, Morocco is also a pretty good team. They beat Belgium 2-0 and rightfully won the group stage. If Spain lost intentionally, maybe it could backfire and they will lose to Morocco.
Spain can't lose intentionally, and they are one of the best to win this year's world cup. From what I see so far, France, Brazil and Spain are my first three teams to play the semi-final, any other team could join to make it four. It is after this that I don't know how things would play out yet. And with the current fixture, Croatia will not meet Spain yet, but the team will do extra work for them to beat a strong team like Japan on Monday.

However, I should easily win a bet on Spain winning Morroco on Tuesaday.
5114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is permissable in Islam. on: December 02, 2022, 10:08:33 AM
For Muslims across the Islamic world, the question arises as to whether crypto payment platforms are deemed to be halal or haram in the eyes of Allah and in accordance with Shariah principles, and whether as a currency it prevents money laundering.
I was also sceptical of the money laundering aspect, but I can assure anyone that money laundering is everywhere, even with fiat. So, it should not be a basis to reject a project as good as crypto. However, I have Muslim friends dealing with it, so it might be about what they believe.

One of the defining aspects of cryptocurrency is that there is no central authority such as a Government that authorises it or records it.
This is the main reason I adopt it, and will always keep me increasing my dealing and stakes in it. The only people that should be concerned are the ones using it for illegality.

A comprehensive Islamic law interpretation, one that sparked a massive rise in Muslim investment in Bitcoin and Ethereum in 2018, was provided by Sharia advisor Mufti Muhammad Abu-Bakar (former advisor to Blossom Finance) who looked at the question of is cryptocurrency halal as a money supply. He argued that Bitcoin is permissible under Islamic principles.
I believe this person is more exposed.

Islamic banking laws are also anti-interest so the technology, pricing, and buying and selling of cryptocurrency money is deemed halal by many Islamic scholars who rely on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad PBUH when seeking guidance about permissibility (ultimately, only Allah knows best).
You have said it all, "only Allah knows best. Yet, cryptocurrency is a non-interest investment as I'm concerned, you only gain or lose if you hold it (investment). This is just like buying shares/stocks in any company, Islamic banks are doing this, so why not crypto? Who is paying the crypto interest? I believe it's about what you use your crypto for.
5115  Economy / Economics / Re: Can One Get Rich or At least Not go Broke During a Recession? on: December 02, 2022, 09:30:56 AM
Just like the Covid-19 pandemic that caused panic in the world and forced people to lock themselves behind doors, one could make money during recessions. The Covid-19 period, as bad as it was, some still became billionaires because of it, this is why we need to think beyond the circle of our comfort in any situation. Personally, I don't believe in paid jobs, but if one would be employed, such should have alternatives. To achieve this, people should have multiple streams of income, and online activities should be part of it where monies would be flowing into our accounts from different channels no matter how small.

Also, creative people could start showing that talent in a unique way, and generally, we should find a problem to solve with what we know best and earn a decent amount for it.
5116  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: December 02, 2022, 09:16:43 AM
Cannot believe the fact that Japan ended up progressing to the R16 while Germany didn't primarily thanks to a goal which was clearly out of bounds, but was still allowed by some seriously dumb referees.

Also, another insane fact here is that Japan just had around 17% possession throughout the match and still ended up scoring 2 goals. Crazy!
I couldn't believe it as well, it's disheartening what the German team performed, not even out of the group stage. Still, looking at the performance of Germany and Japan, it's clear that Japan was more serious in this game, and this started from the beginning when the two countries met. It seems that the country is so determined to win the world cup, and I am supporting them for this bravery and relentless display on the field.

Besides, Germany has cut the ticket of so many yet again this world cup, I will not waste my bet on them anymore.
5117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 02, 2022, 07:17:15 AM
I am personally happy because Germany did not qualify. I loved this team. But more than their good performances at this World Cup, they focus on supporting LGBTQ. I don't understand why it has to be done in the football world cup. Moreover, it is a political thing in Europe and Germany, then why footballers should be supported on the field? If the German players had given their full attention to their performance, they probably would not have been eliminated in the first round. The goal of every player should be to perform well, it is not a platform to spread political ideology.
Japan played well against Spain yesterday. If such a performance can be done against Croatia, the match will undoubtedly be competitive. And I wouldn't be surprised if Japan wins against Croatia. Japan has this ability as they proved by defeating Germany and Spain.
The German players have forgotten their focus on Qatar not as a fighter for human rights but as a football team, to be honest I don't like what happened to them because I have always been their fan but they deserve to be eliminated and this is a lesson for all teams that they go to Qatar to play football.
Congratulations to Japan for being the second team from Asia to reach the round of 16 and maybe it will be the last Asian team because South Korea's chances are very small.

Germany's players should have been more professional and responsible on a big and important stage like the World Cup. Their main focus for the World Cup was a good performance. But instead of doing this, they have focused more on supporting LGBTQ people. I wouldn't mind if they did that in a friendly match. But in the last World Cup, they were eliminated from the group stage, in this World Cup they should have been aiming for at least the semi-finals. But they have been eliminated from the group stage in this World Cup as well.
What has supporting LGBTQ people have to do with this? This is out of football generally, Germany cannot do more than what they did judging by their present team, lapses are all over the place. Their lack of form started in 2018, yet people trusted them more than most teams to win the cup. Well, the trust has been shattered once again and Costa Rica proved to be a better team on the pitch.

Personally, I am pained with this since they are my top choice. Still, their four record winning of the tournament.

The end-of-the-year season has its special feel and spirit, it's undoubtedly a season to show love and appreciation, which is what Duelbits is doing right now. The spirit is now in the air as Duelbits has demonstrated leadership in the casino and sportsbook again. How many of the competitors could beat their chests in offers like these that will easily amount to giveaways to give back to their customers during this holiday season? It's an opportunity for anyone to earn more this season and even be rich if they are one of the major winners.

This is as Ace's reward with 50% Rakeback, $100k World Cup Predictor and others perks are still on.
5119  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance futures Are you full time trader ? on: December 01, 2022, 08:21:22 AM
You are welcome to the trading world friend, it's good if you are adequately equipped with experience. For you to be a full-time trader indicates that you don't lose your money, right? This is a good encouragement to others as I am also an active trader with futures trading which is the same as the traditional online trading that I started with.

Trading could be so challenging, yet with the right approaches, success would be consistently made. It took me several years to have my stand in it, that's why I would like to ask you who just began, how do you come about futures trading and what strategy are you using for sustenance in its trading?
5120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In the eyes of Sam himself, he is so innocent on: December 01, 2022, 07:23:26 AM
Innocent indeed, maybe he is being deceived by his look, not by his actions. Under any law (local and international), he is guilty, unless the articles I read and the documentaries I watched about him and his shady/fraudulent deals are all fake. He will surely serve his jail term unless the Bahamas government would compromise. This is highly unlikely as the US is so interested in the case and the Bahamas government would want to protect their internal image.

However, three of the likely charges are; Collecting money under false pretence, Misappropriating clients' money and Conspiracy.
