I no I'm never going to get rich from it. I would like to hear your thoughts on this is it worth it or a complete waste of time?[/color]

It's a complete waste of time. If you want to try mining buy some cheap hardware and mine a new alt coin. You're not going to get anything with bitcoin mining on a graphics card.
5102  Other / Meta / Re: Activity on: November 26, 2014, 11:23:48 AM
Activity increase/decrease by 14 every 2 weeks

Decrease? I guess it can happen only if you delete some posts, right?

So what about decrease? how this can happen?

Would only happen if you deleted the posts or a thread got trashcanned.

Ok. So to clarify:  Cheesy It is possible to get 140 activity points in 10 - two weeks periods (20 weeks), but there must be minimum one post in every two week period and sum of all posts must be 140 or more? yep?

Thanks for patience guys!!!  Grin

Correct. You can also collect it another way. Say if you made 140 posts in this two week period you could just make one post in each new period and you would then collect the full 14 points up to 140.

Thank you!

Is there any other possibility, to earn more activity points than 14 in two weeks?

Nope.

Candy, Ejaculation, and batmanbad. NOT Thoughtful.

batmanbad was trying to pull something off here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=814895.msg9490681#msg9490681

That was probably the extortion they were referring to.

Hah, did a little digging, he was trying to use Paypal to buy BTC, no wonder you've been given negative trust.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=873652.msg9657209#msg9657209 - Here's the thread, OP, if you don't want negative trust, don't use paypal, I've bought BTC just using wire transfers over localbitcoins, no one is going to use Paypal because you can easily reverse the transaction on them after they've given the Bitcoins, do us a favour and don't play innocent.

He was trying to sell not buy, and that was after this drama. Probably a last ditch attempt to try scam some money via Paypal.

That's why people shouldn't join without escrow. Hopefully people won't sign up without one next time. Should be a mandatory requirement.

Also, they should not allow name changing for anyone, it could be attracting scams.

Think that's one of the reasons why they don't do it, though the feedback won't go away even if they did.

combine the number of posts and time period! always your activities are updated 14 on every two Tursday!

The way you explained it will probably confuse him even more. Simply put, you can get a max of 14 activity points every two week period as long as you post at least once. A new period started this morning and the next one will start on the 9th of December.

theymos or BadBear have changed them a couple of times in the past but it's rare, but it looks like you wont be able to change it to the name you wanted anyway since you've now taken it already  Cheesy. Looks like you'll miss out on a lot of activity points if you abandon the other one.
