5101  Economy / Gambling / Re: [NEW TRX Gambling Platform] 10 day Pre-Launch, 50 gamblers only on: February 07, 2020, 10:33:19 PM
I suggest selecting users not with the Telegram group directly but by compiling all forum users here that will show interest. Since you are currently on Newbie rank and under a PM restriction, just use Telegram as a form of communications after picking your gamblers here so you know who they are. Setting up a TG group is also highly recommended.

You might receive direct messages from the same account/users on Telegram to take advantage of the benefits so I suggest that way. Set a minimum rank of at least Full Member so somehow you will get unique users. Although there is still a chance of enrolling in the same account, it will be way less compare via direct message on Telegram.

5102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 07, 2020, 09:50:08 PM
Poor guy had some tweets and seems heartbroken  Cry
It's all business in the NBA

Detroit Pistons is the team that drafted him. Playing since 2012 and currently can considered as still in his "prime". Never requested any trades despite his good performance and the team always does have a fail rally season by season. Received good offers by other teams but remained loyal to the Pistons franchise. I even think he will become a franchise player of Pistons or his trade will just be considered once he reached his veteran status or so-called post-prime. NBA is really business and Drummond already knows that. It's just that he can't believe it will happen to him despite his loyalty to the franchise.

Pistons are still fighting for the playoffs spot and now that he transferred to Cavaliers, no more playoffs to him this year at 100%.

I guess wiggins could be more viable for Golden state if they end up utilizing him into more a of a defensive role with some training..

That's the best role he should do at the Warriors but that's the problem here. He can't just shift into something that not his usual. Knowing Wiggins, and for the record, he does have an attitude problem even back from the start of his career.

I don't know if he will be fit into Kerr's system but if he will just allow himself to shift into much more of a defensive phase once the Splash Brothers come back, I'm seeing a successful run to this team next season. Right now, obviously he will remain on his usual since that's what Warriors need. A good opportunity to learn the Kerr's system.
5103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Site's Investing (Is it worth it?) on: February 07, 2020, 08:28:19 PM

I've tested some before on just-dice and Moneypot. Sits my funds there for years without any news and forget it. Because of this thread, I'm now trying to dig my account details on just-dice and just learned that they are still active.

So how much did you earn from that long inactivity?  Quite curious here and sharing your experience and result may encourage many of us to try and invest in a gambling site.

I don't know honestly. Again, I'm trying to figure out my account details on just-dice. I think it was around 2015 or 2016 where I made investments there. That time, CLAMS is one of the popular altcoins and the said site is also one of the popular gambling sites back then. I just saw this thread that's why I remember some of my stuff.

But for your reference, I think I put a $400-$500 value of CLAMS there which mostly I got from trading and playing at the site and it doesn't really harm my own precious wallet (it was continuously funded making it around that price). And take note, that $400-$500 value of CLAMS just managed to just get around 0.001% or 0.0001% or something around that percentage of the total bankroll if I remembered it correctly. Just imagined what would be my profit even resting it for decades. We really need lots of money here to feel the profit in the long run but that would also increase the risks as your fund is not in your own possession.

On Moneypot, I don't know what happened.

I read that the Moneypot service where shutdown last Sept. 14, 2019  and they limit their operation to withdrawal announcing that users will have to make the request before the said shutdown date.  So I guess your fund on Moneypot is already gone.

https://medium.com/monsterbyte/winding-down-moneypot-operations-d6a4febafbbc

Yeah. I just do a bit of a search after my post and found that they are already out of service. I visited the site and it was now rebranded to another service.

I just put small money there so no worries at my part.
5104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FELIX EOS DAPP PREREGISTRATION EVENT on: February 07, 2020, 07:10:10 PM

Nothing confusing about OP's announcement.

It was clear that this was a pre-announcement and updated stuff will be found in their Telegram group.

Even you don't want to visit their Telegram group, I'm sure all links will also be posted here as soon as the app will go live. It's just that there is a small on-going event right now on their Telegram group as part of promotion obviously.

EOS-based gambling was preferred by other gamblers due to some advantages. Is the gambling site regulated OP?

Are you going try investing on their bankroll? Please explain your answer  Smiley

That idea is really nice - passive income in the making. One of the recommended passive earning method even back from the early days of crypto-gambling.

But come to think of it, why we can't see users here making a profit from investing in a gambling site's bankroll even the house always wins? What is probably the problem? If we calculate our possible earnings within a given period, the profit out from doing nothing is really awesome.

The bottom line, this kind of investment seems not profitable "in the long run".

They still need at least 1-2 years to become a proper team and play like one so they could win like one.

"Play like one"
"1-2 years for Clippers to become a "proper team""

Make a proper explanation for this and I'm willing to be your guest.

Sure, they have superstars in team but they still need time to make a chemistry..

I'm not rooting for Clippers to win the title but to say that they are still not in chemistry, I don't know where's your valid source for that.

Are you looking for the current team standings as a basis for this?

If Paul George and and Leonard will improve their game this season maybe they will have a chance..

What kind of improvement do you want to see? Are they still underperforming based on your view?

I think you need to lower down your expectations.
5107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 06, 2020, 07:59:42 PM

The 6th straight All-Filipino Cup title for San Miguel Beermen will surely much tougher to achieve now that their main man June Mar Fajardo will be out for the whole conference.

This is the best time now to show their critics that the Beermen is not just all about Fajardo when it comes to All-Filipino. We all know that on every Philippine Cup, Beermen is known for always dominating the league and they are holding the title for 5 straight years. Most PBA enthusiasts always predict that the Beermen will be a champion every All-Filipino because no doubt that no one in the league can stop Fajardo which is also accompanied by most of the best-known gunners in the league.

I've remembered the last time I bet against the Beermen on All-Filipino Cup finals. It was against Alaska and I will surely bag some nice and decent profits if Alaska will snatch a series title against these Giants. Alaska is doing great at that conference and they able to pin down the Beermen on a 3-0 lead at the Finals. Just 1 more win for the championship but the Beermen bounce back on a 4 straight win. If I remember, Beermen pushed Fajardo to play which plays a big role in why the outcome has changed. Even playing at a minor injury, Fajardo still dominates the paint. Really a monster.
5108  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: nCOV(Corona Virus) at Cryptocurrency on: February 06, 2020, 07:05:28 PM

Panira nga tong NCOV sa long-year plan namin. Imbes ma-excite parang nagdadalawang isip na.

Napost ko last year that I will share some BTC related stuffs na makikita ko sa pagpunta namin sa SG that can be reference to others na pupunta rin doon. This March ang aming travel date.

About sa direct impact nito sa cryptocurrency, I think di na mahalagang pag-usapan yan, masama man or mabuti ang puwede maging dulot. Lets just hope na sana matapos na lang ang issue sa virus na ito which is mas mahalaga. Kung mapansin niyo, still as the same pa rin ang galawan sa market before and during NCOV and RSIs telling us that there are oversold at some levels recently. Dahil sa indicator na yan, masasabi natin na walang pang direktang epekto sa Bitcoin ang global issue na ito "sa ngayon".
5109  Economy / Gambling / Re: Newb Canadian - looking for tips to start gambling online - Plz Read. on: February 06, 2020, 06:43:53 PM
Question 1.) I'm in Canada - and i'd like to use a giftcard to purchase the funds to gamble - which GiftCard should i buy to make my purchase? - as I don't have a bank account I can use for this.

Not with the gift cards but here are some of your options:

A) Refer here: https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/canada/

Choose those options without the need for bank accounts. Basically you will pay with cash on those designated payment centers. Although you need to undergo KYC it's for your own advantage and the next time you will buy BTC, its now one-click.

B) If you are not comfortable with KYC, try to search for BTC sellers on your locals: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=183337.0

C) You can also consider having a P2P exchange within the community on the Currency Exchange section and there might be willing to do transact with you without any hassle. USE ESCROW!

Question 3.) OK - so i've got a Canadian GC - i've bought some crypto. Which Casino should I go to? I'm looking at CryptoSlots - but open to opinion!

Aside from those - any other tips? I'm mostly looking to play slots or blackjack.

Most of the casinos you will find here with an active community are all good. It's now up to your own preferences. So yes, there might be a chance that you need to play at each sites before there will be a site that will pass your criteria.
5110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: February 03, 2020, 09:59:43 PM
I've seen a guy asking for advice about lotteries and it got me thinking. I don't understand why people even like lotteries. You don't do much, most likely lose and have to wait for the outcome for a long time. Perhaps, people are interested in the possibility of winning, but that would mean they are not really into gambling as the process. So what is it for you, do you play only for the sake of winning or do you care about the process of playing/researching/anticipating the outcome? I think that the process is that is attractive in gambling, and while the outcome surely matters, I would not like to wait for a long while to learn it.

People like lotteries only because of one thing, big and decent jackpot that is no doubt can be a turning point into becoming rich. A jackpot that other gambling can't generate.

Even people are aware that winning chances of hitting a lottery jackpot is so narrow and slim, their desire for winning that big amount will not be changed. I also agree that most lotto bettors are not into gambling and if you will ask some of them, their gambling habit is only limited in playing lotto. No such thing as people needed to be professional gamblers as playing lotto can be done as easy as 1,2,3.

Here in our country, playing a lottery is big gambling. Even a family that earning below minimum wage does play lotto regularly. Aside from the jackpot, the ticket cost is so cheap and really affordable plus you can see lottery stations here everywhere especially in urban areas making it easy to find.

What’s important for me in a casino is the following: superior customer service, honestly fair, regulated/licensed casinos, best lines and promotions and offer the best terms and conditions regarding pay outs and play.

These are a must thing to consider when choosing casinos.

As long as your own research verifies that your chosen casino does have traits like that then you are free to consider using those.

For anyone's references especially to those who are still in search of what casino should they use, do you mind giving the names of the online casinos who have passed your criteria?
5113  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ANOTHER FISHY WEBSITE I FOUND. on: January 31, 2020, 11:26:38 PM

These kinds of sites will never get tired popping and popping over and over again. They will just change their names but still doing the same scheme.

You can found some of the related sites here:

Always remember that there's no such thing as free big BTC. Any site that will ask you for deposits before anyone can make withdrawals is totally sh*t.

So LaVine and Gordon's rematch will now finally happen*. Although LaVine still not confirmed, he's the one who started this rematch thing after the majority seems not happy with the outcome of the Dunk Contest last year.

For those who forgot, this is all where it started:

2/2019 Zach LaVine Hints At Dunk Contest Rematch With Aaron Gordon On Cryptic Instagram Post
8/2019 Aaron Gordon sends out a challenge for 2020 Dunk Contest

Actually, I almost forgot this challenge since I think that won't happen again soon. But now we can assume it is on an 80% chance to happen. And Dwight Howard, again, will surely entertain the crowd as he did before. And another confirmed participant Derrick Jones Jr., I'm waiting for the creativity of this guy. His leaping ability is closed to Lavine and Gordon.
5115  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm trapped in trading on: January 31, 2020, 08:43:35 PM
How many of you traders on here are trapped when trading bitcoin on exchange thinking it will fall again?  Grin anyway I'm one of them, all I have left now is Stable coin hoping I can buy back when price goes lower again, do you think price will fall again or keeps surging ?

That's part of the trading experience, anticipating what would be the scenarios.

There is no perfect trader. Even professionals and so-called trading gurus still making mistakes. What matters here is, you are learning with those and as you progress, you are now minimizing your errors and wrong call.

Now for the last question, will the price fall again or just keeps surging? You can answer that by yourself.
5116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling websites need to add self-control functionality! on: January 31, 2020, 08:17:23 PM
~snipped~

If I understand it correctly, you want crypto-gambling sites to somehow add some feature wherein they will limit their users to play gambling or totally stop them from doing it? Why crypto-gambling sites should consider doing that?

Those legal gambling websites you have mentioned are complying with the laws that's why it is mandatory for them to have that feature. The same practice were also present here. However, crypto-gambling sites, although some of them are promoting responsible gambling, should not be prioritized doing that for the sake of saving their users fall on the gambling trap. Although adding that feature should be fine.

The fact that we can still stop ourselves means we are still in control. No need for account deletion or something along those lines if a person is really determined to stop doing gambling.

Out of curiosity, why need a long-list of hardware wallets instead of sorting it on a few but much-recommended and popular ones? It might give you a hard time deciding which one if there are lots of options.

Do you have any specific features you might want to see?

The community might help you sort those things out.
5120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you gamble in a league with serious allegations of collusion? on: January 30, 2020, 11:34:11 PM

We can't really determine if a certain match is a game-fixed or not so in here, we can't do anything if we already place our bet and just wait for the output. But for let's say, we do have legit sources that a certain game is fixed, I will not place a bet here at first and will observe what will happen the next matches.

Even the league does have a serious allegation, not all parties are involved there. Punish those involved and continue the league games.

Provided odds also plays a big role if ever I will consider placing a bet for suspected games that might be game-fixed. The idea of placing bets on those suspected fixed matches is not new anymore here in our country.

But if we look at this game-fixing in general, it rarely* happens on the global sports league. There are big punishments associated with this and I doubt most of the team owners, refs, the board of governors, players, etc. will risk their respective careers for that.
