5101  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - 🦉 DRAKE x STAKE 🥩 - Watford FC & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: March 07, 2022, 04:26:59 PM
Sorry guys, Drake don't do it for me much. But someone tell me why no one's posted a great big bet won when Watford scored in the 11th minute? Plenty of guys posting here and all seem to be Stake users, but surely there's ONE of you taking free money home happy even though your team lost big?

Show of hands, loyal Stake sports bettors... tell me I'm wrong and you're all just shy to share?
5102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 07, 2022, 03:19:36 PM
Yeah, am seeing a few news articles now questioning Torres, don't really know haven't watched. I think the calls are premature though.

@slaman29: Hell yeah! I agree with toma! That's a sweet looking bet slip right there, something I like to do too (having one leg many days away, usually my leg is Liverpool on either a ML or HT bet). But definitely wouldn't cash out. Sassuolo isn't really a team to trust but they couldn't be playing a weaker team.

Trofo will agree this is a beautiful bet to hedge though, and Salernitana double chance even without price boost is over 2/1. Maybe 1.5 mbtc bet on that if you want to bring home something nice... just a bit less than if you cash out. And if your leg wins you still get 4.3 mbtc, which is really cool 21/1 win nett.

Besides, you're already insured so worst scenario is you get your bet back, only you've to put it on 2/1 to "get the cash refund".

5103  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Russia goes full Bitcoin adoption on: March 07, 2022, 01:49:49 PM
What would "full" Bitcoin adoption look like? El Salvador's gone "full" Bitcoin is legal tender and we still have yet to get a flood of El Salvadorians here telling us breathlessly about their experiences using Bitcoin to pay bills and coffee.

Those truly needing to use Bitcoin after being blocked out have already gone that way, no need for a state to go "full-blown" for them. No need to get or ask for permission, isn't that the nice thing about it?

now that he's back in the starting 11, the Man utd weekly defensive blunder also makes a comeback! srsly, never doubt him, he always delivers  💪 Wink

Feel bad for the guy personally. He probably knows he doesn't deserve the captaincy, but what else can you do, refuse to wear it? No, actually, I take that back, I don't feel bad for him at all. You can't have an excuse for flailing about like comedians and getting a yellow for playing farmer football.

Shame on me for being surprised at how quickly United capitulated heh.
5105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Global Bitcoin/crypto debit card project on: March 07, 2022, 09:37:34 AM
As someone has actually pointed out already, both Visa and Mastercard are already available for crypto use, both have been in use for many years on the internet, loads of projects have crypto-abled debit cards either on Visa or Mastercard. They both have one "principal partner" each who are crypto businesses (exchanges).

Problem though is that Visa and Mastercard are now in the midst of pulling out from Russia. And have not been in all parts of the world for many years. Iran's an example of another country deliberately excluded.

So how do you make a global Bitcoin debit card based on a network that doesn't exist globally? =)
5106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: March 07, 2022, 09:06:41 AM
Thanks for the videos, as I said, I was only thinking to put money on Vegas night, and probably just a modest outlay on Santos. Odds still hovering below 5/1 so that's right up my alley. Probably a really dumb move, and even the comments from Santos himself doesn't make me feel confident that he thinks he can win.

Blowing beer money or making it into something worthwhile, that's the way.
5107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 07, 2022, 08:30:36 AM
Juve is back, and they are in winning series, 1:0, but that is a way to earn title
Man, i see the same as you. If this teams (Inter, Napoli and Milan) dont go full throttle , Juventus its on his back and can be an amazing comeback. Vladovic suits perfect to the team and its doing a great job so keep a eye on that.

Not sure if I said it in this thread or on another chat but right during the winter break I was saying that that could be the real trick for Turin's Old Lady -- to find a way to freshen up the squad (which they sort of did) and maintain their form, because it wouldn't be easy at all for the others to do the same.

Was counting on Napoli home win but hey, at least someone won the match. Serie A looking a lot like the Serie A I used to think it was. Still, makes it super interesting as a contest, and the home of golden oldies becoming matchwinners Wink

Next is Betis Atletico - it's game when I want both teams to lose Cheesy. So, I picked draw.
And damn, for God's sake, why I didn't watched Celta - Mallorca? 4:3 with Aspas goal on 97th minute. Seems I missed a lot.

did not watch Celta either, but there was everything there, two penalties, own goals, red card, you name it, they provide it, but overall expected outcome, Celta winner

Betis started, and Felix scored, so Atletico is up one goal, it does seem that there is a fine line between top3 and all the others, including Sevilla, which is current second

Yeah, honestly thought I'd lost that one but Aspas steps up as usual. Penalty, sure, both goals, but you still need to put them away to win. And they also conceded one AND gave an own goal, so can't complain.

Football's not really doing it for me today in any game I turn on. I blame everything on a lack of a full game (haven't watched a 90 min game in over a week now).
5109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 06, 2022, 08:39:10 PM
So, skipped Inter, took Salernitana (and we know what happened). Then backed both Torino AND Fiorentina and of course, not even a 1-1 in predictions got me much joy, but I guess 2 close scores from two nil-nil games is very very good.

Fiorentina used to be something of a good luck charm for me in accas but these days...

And now looks like we're heading for another possible 0-0 or draw with this supposed smasher in Naples. 1 shot each, they're better at collecting yellows.
5110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 06, 2022, 04:41:39 PM
Oh great. I thought United would prove to be troublesome but then KDB scores early and now United are running headless... then again, they do play better once they've conceded a goal so will like their chances, right?

Shame though, if I'd known, I'd have bet live for a fat comeback odds win haha. Damn you de Bruyne, why so good?
5111  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Southampton FC Main Sponsor 🚀🚀 on: March 06, 2022, 03:37:09 PM
Shout out to Club Talk peeps, awesome as ever. Didn't mind getting the very nice 0.5mbtc freebet from the question-picking, unfortunately was absent during the actual Behind the Bet! Will watch for sure this week.

For those who didn't see last night, Sportsbet.io's Joe and Southampton Team worked on an initiative to donate 3,000 Yellow and Blue Southampton Scarves for 3000 Supporters at last night's Southampton and Aston Villa Match.

A great show of support for the situation going on in Ukraine.

Great to see, and this only a symbolic follow-up to the matching donation campaign  -- hope that one turned out well too -- some coincidence that Saints away kit also came up the same colours!

Huge game today with the Manchester Derby. It’s not very often I want Man Utd to win a game of football but needs must. I am definitely rooting for them today, it’s unlikely they are good enough to get anything at The Etihad but I always hold hope, even in the most unlikely scenarios Wink

Yeah, me rooting for Everton last week and then now United. So strange, I wonder how they must feel, knowing that if they do well, we do better.

May the force be with Penaldo and Penandes.

And Gooners silently creeping up the charts too, Saka (I like this guy for some reason) scoring, assisting, giving ex-gf some soul-searching hopefully Wink

Besides, if everyone really were telling me to buy the dip, I'd be real, real worried.
You never need to worry about buying at dips when you are confident about the fundamentals of bitcoin. These days people are like you because after watching two cycles of bitcoin, they are believing that catching at the bottom of each cycle is easier but market is always known for surprising us which means you may not be able to catch exact bottom all the time and when you are about to be missing out the bottom of one cycle then buying regularly on available dips is highly recommended to ensure you are not missing out good buying opportunities.

Actually, my point was that if fundamentals were what made you confident, then you're buying no matter what or DCA-ing as a habit. Timing to only buy the dips, or getting an entire chorus of Crypto Twitter chime in on buying the dip suggests sentiment or swing trading, which doesn't need any belief in fundamentals. And as I might have mentioned before on forum, I'm happiest when almost everyone else is not. Things just never look bright short term when every influencer is projecting ridiculous rallies and ATHs.

But here is my tip. United to lock City out so even if they score it will not be from someone familiar.

Ronaldo instead was my pick. Yeah dry spell I know but there is no better game to give United another false dawn ha ha!

Yeah that's true, Man United could def lock City out.  So the goal scorer for City could be from outside the box by either Rodri, Gundongan or KDB.  It could even also be John Stones or Laporte via a header.

And choosing Ronaldo is good really, if we really think more about it.  He tends to do well at tough games that are critical for the club.  It could be 0 - 0 til the 80th minute or so and Ronaldo score's a goal at the stoppage time.  Cheesy  Ooops he did it again.

Hope it works out. Mane/Salah worked again but sadly I went for Salah so lost out. I got hits on Pukki and Coutinho, so I could still get a small win if Penaldo, Kanealdo and Saka all score next.

But absolutely, I see a first goal from one of those as you say, outside the box or a scrambling header. Or a penalty (if City can score).
5114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Odds, units advantage | Sportsbook | +80817 units on: March 06, 2022, 11:48:21 AM
That turned out to be a happy night, the EFL cup final, we lost the bet (boo on VAR) but the draw was fair, so few complaints there, and we won the penalty lottery, so things looking up.

Bet against City has been tight losses after Spurs -- Everton honestly gave them a scare, and United has a good record, as we've seen before in this thread too.

200 units at Fairlay on United to WIN vs City @9.78. Other odds: 8.20
Units advantage: 158

Running advantage after 116 bets: +12709 (+212)
All-time cumulative: +81,115
Running units after 115 bets (14W|101L): +1728 (-500)

Anyone ballsy enough for United upset?

Watching Liverpool now and I can't believe they did not conceded the goal already. West ham had some incredible chances in this game.

Saw parcels of the first half, also thought we were lucky, and I was even prepared to get the Mane goal offside, VAR was good this time around. Every season we seem to get one or two different teams we have trouble against. Glad we survived it, have to find a way to understand why they're a tough opponent for us.

I had most of those games as low-scoring draws. 0-0 and 1-1s. Hoping Liverpool game finishes 1-0 for the full three points for me, though I just need them to win on a three-fold acca so another goal wouldn't hurt.

I had Newcastle only as a draw, expected wins everywhere, only got the Wolves one wrong (I knew they have a rather horrendous home record but for some reason though they're doing things different now after their last home win, they also seem to have gotten out of their 1-0 games). You were the only exact score for Liv-Hammers.
5116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎰 Sportsbet.io 🎰 "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: March 06, 2022, 10:42:48 AM
^Just the game I was hoping for really. Been a flurry of high-scoring games (cept dear old Reds heh) and after a series of busts and some pushes sprinkled in here and there, I think we're all ready for some big points. I won't even mind a high bust if Citeh stumble and flail. Let's hope the Manchester derby doesn't let us down!
5117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 06, 2022, 08:48:52 AM
@darxiaomi this might be well off mark but are from the Netherlands by any chance?

Anyway. Nice to finally, finally get an exact score after so long. Real probably surprised everyone by getting a big win without a game of flurry of yellows I was getting used to.

Table positions not only switched but leaders are extending every week since new year. Hats off, really.
5118  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin likely won't recover until 2025 on: March 06, 2022, 05:03:07 AM
Still liking what LFC said early on here. Patterns do not often repeat, but they do rhyme.

I can't see the return of the supercycle. We have already crossed the time period needed for that to happen again I think. Well over a year since the rally, ATH that was relatively underwhelming (for a supercycle), volumes as well.

But that doesn't mean another slow burn rally circa 2025 is a bad thing. Probably suits me much more really.
5119  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: March 05, 2022, 09:38:04 PM
The only winners are those people who buy when the weak hands panic.

FUD is only applicable for those who easily panic because they lack knowledge on what they are doing, that's not good for them but good for us who know it's an opportunity to buy. That's why the words "whales manipulate the market exist" because, with our ignorance, they can take advantage on that by shaking the market so we will dump and they'll be very happy to accumulate.

Nah, the real winners are the exchanges. Sell, buy, whatever, they get a commission. They just love these market swings though; high volatility makes people panic sell (or panic buy) and just pushes down the domino array in whichever direction -- they win either way.

People who buy dips/crashes aren't winners until they liquidate, you see Wink

Oh and I don't get why you guys so scared of FUD. When has it ever been bad for us?
5120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 05, 2022, 06:35:26 PM
Now how often do you get teams scoring so many goals against teams who are supposed to be even matches? I back Villa to win so happy for the result but 4 goals? To none? And watched parts of the game so easily could have been 4 to nil at half time. Coutinho is so good.

Then Chelsea winning also not a surprise but another hammering without conceding also a bit surprising. Then Wolves letting in two?

Weird night tbh. Only I underestimated Toon army. Otherwise, great for me so far. Come on you Reds!
