It actually wasn't a bad performance when you consider the amount of chances we created, but missed. Just wasn't our night, I'm sure Manchester City as well as Chelsea will have days like that.
It was as you say, very solid performance from reds in first half but they missed a lot of chances, that penalty plus rebound from Salah and that Mane chance are a must score. Afterwards it was more difficult and Leicester managed to contain them well. Chelsea is not playing well at the moment and they will spill a lot of points for sure. They will also miss some sitters after Werner gets back into the team  City on the other hand looks unstoppable at the moment, and their bench which allows them to completely rest 4-5 players without loosing quality is gonna get them even further ahead in this busy schedule. Last week they had Foden, Grelish and Jesus on bench, only Foden got a couple of minutes, I am expecting them to start and maybe Sterling and Mahrez to rest today. |

Već neko vrijeme razmišljam o prelasku na Muun, čuo sam dobre stvari o njemu a taproot su koliko je meni poznato podržali od prvog dana. Newcastle got the big point against United yesterday but their two most dangerous players, Saint Maximin and Wilson got injured and were subbed. I am not sure how long they will be out but without them Newcastle will score even less goals and they are just coming to the patch of nicer fixtures, they play all the teams from position 17-12 almost in a row. This game could prove very expensive for them since these will be the games that will decide relegation battle. |

Seems to me they start good and then problems get bigger and bigger if they are unable to score since opponent gets to defend deeply and that leaves little space for Salah and Mane. |

To change a topic a bit from Djokovic...Thiem has now confirmed that he will not play on Australian Open, this was sort of expected after he cancelled ATP cup earlier but still another big blow for the tournament.
Medvedev and Zverev are happy at the moment, all other top players have problems and it seems they could add to their grand slam tally in Australia.

Trashford  good one As you said, I knew Maguire would not be able to contain Saint Maximin, but I expected their attack to outscore Newcastle even if they concede 2 or 3 goals. Even needed De Gea to save them towards the end. Every week I am thinking, no way United will be that bad again and then they manage. I'll probably skip Burnley game for betting. Arsenal is heading to CL this season regarding tonight, one should have caution with United, their play is really something unexpected always Newcastle will obviously start their revival from Championship next season, but they are singing "we play bad, but we are richer than you", even to City At who's expense ? I like how Arsenal doing this season to be very, they've been doing brilliantly except against the top guns of course, but I would be expecting them to make the UCL next season, Arsenal have been known to not always keep up to task as the season gets to it's third quarter, but we'll see I guess. Let's not get ahead of our selves. Arsenal had a great run but they had really good draw in recent months. The quality of their opponents will take a change soon and we have to see if they are able to actually play against top teams. My opinion is that big 3 will win games against them easy. Liverpool did just that the other day with result like 4:0. They have City to open the new year and I expect similar result. When they lost first 3 games in the season I said I expect them to finish in top part of the table and probably fight for 6th spot. Now I can maybe see them as high as 4th but I still think United will find form and climb the ranks. Arsenal showed they can win against weaker teams, now they have to show that they can hold their own against top teams but I feel like they will fail on this test. |

Unfortunately no, I ended the day deep in the red. Needed Aston Villa to get at least a draw for nice payout but Chelsea proved to be too strong. I even wanted to cash out the ticket one minute before Chelsea got first penalty and of course I did not make it in time. My cash out option went away and then 30 seconds later penalty for Chelsea.
