5121  Economy / Reputation / Re: Meriting Your Alt is no more Merit Abuse? on: June 06, 2022, 07:35:52 PM
Considering he don't join any signature campaign and high frequency of sending merit (at least 2503 times[1]), it's likely he made mistake rather than intentionally sending merit to his alt account. While it's rather rare, i have also made similar mistake (e.g. sending wrong amount of merit, sending merit to one post below/above on post i want to merit).
Seriously?! Cheesy
We are not talking about trained monkey who is using keyboard to make multiple ''mistakes'' like this to his alt accounts, and add them to his trust list.

Meriting your alt accounts and including them in your trust list is crazy and immoral behavior, but OP why don't you use your main account if you wanted to talk about this?
Most of philipma1957 alt accounts are inactive for years, however, problem is that he continues to do the same thing with his new alt accounts now.
I see no reason why DT member in his position should be able to do something like this all the time without any explanation.

@philipma1957 you have something to say about this?
5122  Economy / Reputation / Re: sujonali1819 Cheater Bounty Manager on: June 06, 2022, 07:18:30 PM
Lol, See someone pmed his wallet address. Every words are same just the payment address is changed.
I wonder how many accounts are actually controlled by a single person, and I am also wondering what would happen if someone starts digging and finding connection between all addresses posted in spreadsheet.
I think someone could earn nice amount of money from sujonali1819 if he finds potential cheater/s in his bounty campaigns Wink

5123  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MS Word vulnerability could lead to stealing your bitcoins on: June 06, 2022, 06:57:06 PM
Debian isn't suitable for beginner (those who never use/give up using Linux) anyway. Excluding non-free driver by default with lots of download option (CD, DVD, different DE, etc.) would give beginner hard time.
There is Linux Mint Debian edition and regular user won't even notice any difference between that and regular Linux Mint that is based on Ubuntu.
I would argue that Ubuntu is not beginner friendly for anyone who wants to switch from wiNd0ws, but there are other options like Zorin OS and many others.
There is even one LinuxFX win clone (made by Rafael Rachid from Brazl) that looks and feels almost identical like win11 spycrap and it's free:

5124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Reasons I Trust Binance for my Crypto Storage on: June 06, 2022, 06:50:53 PM
Binance exchange is not a ''crypto storage'' of any kind and it should not be used like that by anyone, even CZ is not keeping his coins there, but OP obviously thinks he is smarter than him. Cheesy
You are giving someone else control over your coins and they can freeze your account anytime they want and for whatever the reason, so all those security features you mentioned (IP Whitelisting, 2FA, notifications, etc) means nothing.
On top of that you are using VPN... that can only make things worse for you, if you use it with Binance there is a chance they may flag you as suspicious.
5125  Local / Off-topic (Hrvatski) / Re: Kutak za kulturni trenutak on: June 05, 2022, 07:41:21 PM
Gledao sam par epizoda Obi-Wan Kenobi i nije loša serija, a uskoro možemo očekivati i nove blockbuster filmove Top Gun Maverick i Jurassic World Dominion.
Zanimljiv novi dokumentarni film What Is a Woman? koji bi trebalo pogledati, jer pokazuje svu ludost vremena u kojem živimo.
5126  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Blacklist] of unreliable, 'taint proclaiming' Bitcoin services / exchanges on: June 05, 2022, 05:12:37 PM
I remember there are many more such cases, but can't find web articles about them right now, so I'd appreciate any additions.
Any exchange that works with Chainalysis and similar companies can freeze customer accounts if their tracking software marks their addresses as ''tainted''.
You are missing Binance exchange from that list, and they are freezing accounts for sure for various reasons if they think something is suspicious.
I remember reading before how many Colombian users accounts got frozen, and others got flagged for risk management and anti-money laundering:
https://insidebitcoins.com/news/binance-sued-by-colombian-users-for-frozen-accounts
https://www.coindesk.com/tech/2021/05/12/so-many-locked-out-binance-users-say-their-accounts-have-been-frozen-for-months/

PS
Don't forget that fake dex exchanges (like Uniswap) can also freeze your funds.
Paxful P2P exchange is the first P2P exchange that works with Chainalysis, so you know what that means.
5127  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: SeedSigner: Review on: June 05, 2022, 05:03:12 PM
I can change it whenever I want, but I don't want to wait 2+ weeks again nor to pay 20+ EUR for a case. The one I have does the job nevertheless. No, I don't have a 3D printer.
Dude, you can print the case anywhere you want in your local area for few bucks  Cheesy
I am sure you can find bunch of ads from people and services who are offering 3d printing services, most I know are 3d designers or just owners of 3d printers.
They don't even know what they are printing when I order it from them, it's dirt cheap and I don't have to wait more than few hours or a day for delivery.

Seriously though, why isn't an RNG generating true random results, and if it isn't, which opens up a philosophical question, why does the TRNG, indeed, generate true randomness? To be precise, urandom is a Cryptographically Secure Pseudorandom Number Generator (CSPRNG), and to be honest, I'm a complete noob when it comes to this field, but I somewhat agree with this perspective.
It's simple math, and if you are not mathematician you can't understand it easily.
Companies wouldn't waste millions of dollars to achieve true randomness if gameboy, nintendo or raspberry pi was able to achieve this.
Research this subject deeper to understand it better, key point is if something can be reproduced or not.
5128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can't sign a message with bitcoin core on: June 05, 2022, 04:49:43 PM
I don't know if you could try connecting your bitcoin node with Trezor Suite app (if you own a Trezor hardware wallet) and sign a message with their app instead of using Bitcoin core.
They recently added this option and I think they are supporting Bech32 address types, but I didn't test this myself so I can't confirm.
Here are all the pages I found with instructions for that:
https://wiki.trezor.io/Full-node_wallet

5129  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Global untraceable phone calls - is it still a good idea? on: June 05, 2022, 04:33:49 PM
Isn't something like Voice Over Internet Portal (VOIP) services? A lot of service provider like this are on the market where number isn't traceable normally. This means the call will be from random numbers or from unknown numbers. If VOIP is traceable calls then I don't know how will you avoid it. Or anything special there how it will be untraceable? I think you will need legal permission to provide this service which would make it traceable.
Viber is example of service like this and they are offering paid service for calling any number you want, that is actually cheaper than using regular landline or mobile phone.
I would like to see something similar that would respect privacy and won't spy on it's users, and I think this service would have very big use case, not only for criminals.
Maybe some extension could be created that could work on top of XMPP protocol (Conversations app, etc), that would enable calling all phone numbers.
This is just my imagination going wild Wink
5130  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MS Word vulnerability could lead to stealing your bitcoins on: June 05, 2022, 03:47:40 PM
Who are those brave people using Bitcoin wallets on Windows? I don't even dare to enter my email password on it.
Most of them are using wiNd0ws and some of them are even bragging with that, because it's not ''hard'' to use like Linux, and they don't care if OS is spying them non-stop Cheesy
If someone is so addicted to win OS, better try something called windows Ameliorated, that has all spyware and bloatware removed.
However, for everyday use and for Bitcoin wallets I would always suggest Linux OS.

For anyone that hasn't actually changed from Windows to Linux, who has tried in the past, but couldn't get along with it. Common distributions like Ubuntu are now incredibly similar to Windows. The change over would be somewhat seamless.
I would personally avoid recommending Ubuntu to masses who want to switch from gates OS, even if it is better option than wiNd0ws OS, there are better Linux alternative.
Maybe best option is Linux Mint or Debian that are rock stable, they have familiar style for switching to Linux, and most Bitcoin wallets works perfectly for them.
Most of them are coming with preinstalled alternative Office package with Word.

Hhahahahahah you are pathetic, What are you doing on BitcoinTalk asking money to rent out your profile picture? Why not enjoying live with your fleet of solar-powered jets.

Btw, our service will be restored today. Love
Oh sorry... looks like you forgot to use different profile this time Cheesy
Clear proof SATOSCARD = CriptoDebit.com = the same scammer person.
I can't believe you are so dumb, and I am (not) sorry for ruining your stupid plan.

PS
Idiot thinks that deleting post makes any difference, but he doesn't know that everything is archived in Bitcointalk Wink

Why should we announce to we temporarily pauze our service here? Are you a client? Then you received a email explaining it all.
You are right, scammers don't need to announce anything, especially when they can't speak english languge.
Please READ first post from member drakmail who posted proof and images from your scam service.
You can also read message from member Dextrosium, and more comments from other members in one of many topics you created, so I will quote them all below:

Nice feedback:

....

Since the world blocked you Russians you have nothing to do but then spamming forums online.
You are clearly a stupid lunatic without brain in your thick skull if you can say that I am russian, but I guess this is a result of stealing money from other people...

As you may know BitcoinTalks is a us registered business, so we will send them a legal letter asking for your details. It’s really easy, all your posts are without any basis or proof.
Yes, I fear the worse, especially coming from your legal team.
BitcoinTalks registered business company has all my dirty laundry, including my cat's last name with origin and his favorite food, along with my exact location of my fleet of solar powered jets and bank accounts in Dubai.

The 2 newbie users there have there problems already solved the second they created the post.
I can't wait to see proof about that.
Strange thing they never posted anything about this miracle event.

From what Russian city are you ?
City is called Satoscardscamgorod and I was born in Criptodebitscamburg.

5133  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CriptoDebit.com is a scam on: June 05, 2022, 11:33:39 AM
You were spreading FUD from the first day. No, you won't receive  medal (a stciker) or applications.
Oh look who came back in forum with his stinking scam account, just in the same time when his second satoscardscam account was activated.... funny ''coincidence'' Roll Eyes

Nobody lost a penny on CriptoDebit, we had to temporarily stop our service to every user with a balance was notified, and they were fully refunded even the cost of the card the purchased.
I can literally quote posts from members in forum who lost money using your scam service, and nobody said anything about refund.
Further more, you NEVER announced any ''temporary'' shutdown of your scam service and website, here or anywhere else.

So again you can keep spreading FUD, we don't care. Our service will be live soon again.
Than I must be a prophet or I can see the future events, when I could exactly predict you are going to scam people, shut down your website, and that new scam website with different domain will emerge.

This is just defamation, we will take legal action against your posts and topics. All your topics are completely without any merit.
Oh no no no no please don't take legal actions, I am so scared now  Roll Eyes

What am I gonna do?

Flag supported.

5134  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: DIY Bitcoin Blockclock on: June 04, 2022, 08:07:00 PM
I hate to break it to you, but currently, they're asking for "$149" to reserve it [I guess the price could only grow in the future].
Nice catch! I didn't saw they added it in Coinkite store already.
Nah I won't spend that much money plus shipping fees for Blockclock Micro, even if I like it, but I think that Coinkite/Coldcard is ripping people off... and I understand they are trying to make a living from this.
5135  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Virtual Mastercard Cards - SATOSCARD CryptoDebit SCAM on: June 04, 2022, 07:54:36 PM
Thank you for your concern. However, we are not the same company nor the people behind CD,  we have however bought some intellectual property from them in the U.K. As far as we know, they only had some hosting issues. The information we received was that everybody was compensated.
1. Show us all the documents and evidence what exactly you purchased including this ''intellectual property''.
2. Show us proof and conversation you had that is showing there was hosting issue with CryptoDebit scam.
3. Show us message you received that claims everyone was compensated in CryptoDebit scam.

If you don't provide all three things I posted above, everyone can consider this to be a clear proof that you are the same CryptoDebit scammer.
5136  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SATOSCARD aka CriptoDebit.com is a scam on: June 04, 2022, 07:50:53 PM
Yes, do not need to be a great detective to understand that with a probability of 99, 9999% these are all the actions of the same person. Bravo. Cheesy
Isn't it obvious how dumb they are trying to cover their tracks Cheesy
I am not expecting to get a medal for exposing them first and second time, but I am trying to prevent people from losing money using this website.

I'm really confused, CD is a UK based company with an e-money license. They cannot disappear and leave clients without their funds.
You are not confused, you are retarded liar, but please be so kind and show of evidence of CryptoDebit scam e-money license.

So I guess everybody has their money?
No, everybody lost their money, but you already know that.
Don't speak about yourself and your scam in third person.
5137  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: June 04, 2022, 07:42:13 PM
You don't think it already looks like that? No matter what system is in place, there will always be people complaining of the DT mafia or something ridiculous. We should hold elections every 6 months or year, 20 DT members selected and they are allowed 20 inclusions to DT2. I'm not trying to exclude people but at the same time, half of them don't even know what the hell they are doing or are scammers waiting to be caught.
Reducing number of people will only create more complains from majority members and they will say how it's impossible to ever become DT member.
I didn't reducing number of DT members is bad, but you would exclude some very good members that are contributing forum a lot.
As for scammers part, I am not so sure, but you can post information in public if you know DT1 scammers, don't speak in codes.
5138  Other / Meta / Re: How to change a text font within the forum on: June 04, 2022, 07:44:08 AM
Was anyone able to fix it? The forum works fine on the rest of the browsers.
I said the solution in my previous post, disable fingerprint blocking in Brave ad blocker settings - Advanced Control - Allow fingerprinting, and your fonts will turn back to normal like it was before.
This is only temporary fix until Brave developers fix this bug, but bitcointalk forum is not tracking or fingerprinting anything anyway, so you don't have to worry about that.

5139  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Global untraceable phone calls - is it still a good idea? on: June 04, 2022, 07:34:43 AM
So I want to ask you guys if you think this still would be a useful service? I have looked around a bit, and can't really find another site that provides the same service. Is it worth spending time on getting it back up?
I think it's well worth spending time on this, but you need to provide some proof that this is really untraceable phone calls and not something to collect information and spy on people.
It all depends how much I would have to pay per minute, but I would use it for some reasonable price.
Problem is that this could be used for some illegal stuff, so it would certainly get attention from regulators and law enforcement at some point.

1. Pay some bitcoin to an address (or in this day and age, why not lightning network).
I would use both Bitcoin and Lightning Network payments, second would be better for privacy in my opinion.

2. Cal any international phone number using WebRTC directly from your browser.
What phone number would they get on their caller ID when I call them like this?
5140  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: SeedSigner: Review on: June 04, 2022, 07:27:35 AM
One more interesting thing I saw is that some people are working on new SeedSigner OS with minimal Raspberry Pi image.
I didn't test this myself, but this is step in good direction because I never liked slow loading speed for SeedSigner, and I think this can speed up things a lot.
This project is open source, and it's freely posted with easy instructions on github by DesobedienteTecnologico:
